It was a long way to Yuki no Kuni and the Tanjo were running low on numbers and so what was a Fuu to do? Go it alone of course. Today's assignment was making her way to the Land of Snow they had heard word that the village had quite a few small towns that were susceptible to the influence of Yuki no Kuni's destructive industrial advances and was sent there to handle the issue.

And so with her backpack strapped on and her trusty bandana tucked inside her shirt, Fuu prepared for the long journey ahead. The young terrorist would do her best to wade through the dangers of the locale be it wild animals or the head hunters in Law Country that were just around the border. Fuu had been on quite a few expeditions before but there numbers were thin and was separated from her partner so she would need to watch her own back this time.

As she made her way into vegetable country she was careful not to draw too much attention to herself as she passed through the city. Along the roads Fuu spotted many peddlers and farmers selling their wares at local markets. "Now this is my kinda city, everything's made of wood, bricks and mortar." she'd take a deep breath, of the crisp grassy air as she made her way towards the city square.

"I don't think I could ever get tired of this place." the girl would pull out her map and take a look at it looking for the marking she left behind in the corner. "Okay so which way to the den." she'd furrow her brow as she tried to remember her handwriting. "Looks like its...that a way!" as the girl would make her way down the road, marching's at a brisk pace.

As she marched her way down the streets her map would read the words. "Smugglers den." and it was situated a few miles away from Kaze no Kuni, as she made her way down the road she'd see the smugglers den from a distance away now she just needed to secure a ride from one of the pirates, she was given a contact to look into and here's hoping everything went smoothly, on a day like today what could go wrong?

Mito Hanami was bored.

The red-head looked out at the road in front of her uncle’s place with a look of quiet dullness, her eyes lidded and heavy despite the early morning sun still rising through the sky. She was tall for a sixteen year old, lean and quick in the way girl’s could be when they had to run and fight for a living- which she did, almost exclusively for her Uncle. There had been a great commotion the other day amongst the ranks, a mission gone wrong or something, and she’d made a comment without really knowing what had happened- which had gotten her a solid thrashing by Oro and a month’s worth of guard duty for the effort.

So here she was, glumly staring at an empty road that almost no one ever came down, sitting on the thickest branch of a tall tree that had no business existing anywhere outside of Moku no Kuni but, of course, did. Waiting for nothing to happen. Like a putz.

"Not my damn fault they died.” The teen muttered, folding her arms beneath her chest as she glanced at the road… and paused, blinking. Someone was coming. They were a ways off, but she could clearly make out a person walking down the road, though that was about all she could tell at this distance. WHoever they were would have to get closer for her to know more.

As the girl made her way down the road marching towards the smugglers den she'd keep her cadence to try and get to the locale so far everything seemed to be going well as she passed by she spotted a rather large tree with a woman sitting directly atop it. "Oooh!" the girl would say as she marveled at the large piece of timber. "Hello up there!" the girl would say taking a look up at her giving her a salute as she passed her by.

She was somewhat curious as to why she might be in the tree but at the same time she had a mission to do and didn't want to get side tracked she could only hope that the young girl would treat the tree with respect she almost wanted to look back but just needed to keep her eyes forward.

It was probably nothing and the smugglers den wasn't all that close so she needed to keep going forward and couldn't afford to get distracted but still if she had the time she'd love to talk to the girl and maybe even tell her all about that tree she was sitting atop, it looked to be a very special type of Oak quite old judging by the size of trunk. And she knew that if her partner were here she'd of loved to marvel at it, too. But she had her own assignment and had hoped that soon they'd be able to work together again it didn't feel the same without her.

Mito hadn’t been dreaming. There really was someone coming down the road. A girl, actually. Blonde hair, blue eyes, probably a few years older than her- and cute. Because of course she had to be cute. The first person she got to accost for being where they didn’t need to be and it was a pretty girl she’d rather have been flirting with than threatening. Gonna kick Oro in the nuts for making me do this.

"Stop!” She yelled as the girl passed her by, leaping from the tree and onto the road in front of Fuu, scowling slightly as she turned to face the older girl, blushing slightly. Her left hand hovered behind her back, perhaps reaching for a weapon pouch of some kind- though what she might pull out, and what might happen if she did act were, of course, entirely up to the blonde.

"You’re not allowed down this road. No one is. So just… turn back. Before I have to do something we’ll both regret.” Mito said, trying to sound tough despite the redness creeping up across her cheeks. This girl was really damn cute up close. Oh, why couldn’t she be ugly? Or a guy?!

As she had spoken to the girl the woman would leap down from the tree and take notice of her she had told her to stop, Fuu wasn't entirely sure what to expect and was ready for anything. "Huh...wait what's going on here...turn back why?" the girl would wonder aloud with a tilt of her head.

She'd notice that the girl was bumbling about just a little but wanted to hear her out she was telling her to turn back but Fuu had a job to do and couldn't afford to miss her boat out towards Yuki no Kuni it looks like she had a fight on her hands. "Listen I'm really sorry but I'm in a hurry." the girl would say looking to the woman rather urgently, as she crafted a series of one handed seals. "Time to take advantage, of the path finders guide to combat, Chapter 16: One handed seals!" she'd think to herself.

Quickly she'd craft a series of seals with one hand no less and would burrow herself underground and begin scurrying away from the young woman trying to get out of the situation as quickly as possible however in her efforts to do so with her one handed seal she'd end up digging herself a bit lower in the ground than she would've liked.

Eventually After getting her a few feet into the ground she'd scurry up from the ground and keep making a break for it doing her best to avoid combat and make herself down to the smugglers den moving as quickly as her feet would let her.

For a moment, just a moment, Mito thought her threat had worked and the woman was genuinely thinking about turning back. The older girl had paused, tilting her head in obvious confusion, her face scrunching up as if she was trying to remember something… and then she brought one hand up, forming what looked like hand seals as the earth melted around her in a technique she had heard of but couldn’t perform. A technique that she had heard of recently, actually. Blonde hair. Young. Uses Doton to run when confronted. Is she…

The red-headed teen didn’t let the thought finish, whirling around to follow the blonde as she formed a single hand seal, chakra pulsing through her limbs, the world blurring from her Shunshin enhanced speed. Mito appeared in front of Fuu and pushed Katon chakra through her arm as she cocked her fist back before slamming her attack down at the older blonde in a chopping right that held the full strength of her body in it, fire flying from her fist in a wide arc meant more to ward her back than anything else.

"You really should have turned around.” She said to the blonde, frowning as she stood before her, kunai in one hand, ready.

As the girl burrowed into the ground she'd eventually come up after a moment her clothes covered in dirt, as she kept running the woman would appear before her causing Fuu to atop she'd then craft a hand seals as she jumped back from the attack and after a short moment the girls skin would begin to transform her arm would begin to excrete a gooey gelatinous yellow fluid that would creep up the girls body and begin to cover her transforming her features. Her hair changed to a neon blue shade as the sclera of her eyes darkened and her blue eyes glowed a color similar to that of her hair, what once was a cute young girl now resembled a monster.

This was her Onigo form the "Taffy Body" "That is it, You made me do this!" with that the girl would let out a scream that would radiate for a good distance that would more than likely disorient the woman. If successful she'd ready another jutsu after a few quick handseals and would extend out her right arm towards the woman in an effort to grab hold of her body her form granting her a degree of elemental protection from the flames. "Grr..."

If she managed to get in close she'd wrap her arm around the limb that held her weapon in an effort to squeeze down on it to try and break it while also disarming her. With her other arm she'd attempt to try and form another jutsu using the one handed seal method in order to try and enhance the power of her arms by creating a thicker form of material over the exoskeleton. If she managed to succeed however she'd find that her left arm instead of her right arm was covered which was alarming to the girl as she'd watch it grow in its form into a harder jelly like substance. "Uh-oh that's not right...!?" she'd think to herself.

DESCRIPTION:
This technique is the amplification of the user's own voice in an area of affect. This technique, in an auditory range, can shatter glass and will deafen people who have auditory organs for a time (3 posting rounds). This deafening is harshest directly after it is used, but deteriorates over the next five posts as a ringing sound (tinnitus) can be heard in the mean time.

The deafening can be "refreshed" by using the jutsu once again, but continued usage will put strain on the user's vocal chords, rendering them temporarily (rest of the thread) useless after 3 uses.

Ear protection can lessen or eliminate the damage caused by the technique based on the strength of said protection. Also, that if the sound waves come into contact with water or Suiton-based chakra constructs, the sound will be absorbed and muted, thus making the technique less potent and useful. If one is out of the jutsu's audible range (50 meter radius), this technique does nothing.

The armor will be naturally weak around the elbow, wrist, and fingers to allow freedom of movement. These weak spots could theoretically be covered, but movement and speed would be greatly affected.

Due to her training with the many different Onigo transformations, Fuu is able to craft hand-seals with a great deal of relative ease allowing her to rush through them like clockwork. Making her more effective at harnessing the other aspects of her clans abilities and other ninjutsu should she so need it.

Special Ability #1: Onigo Form [Taffy Body]

Using her Onigo form Fuu is able to transform into a incredibly durable demon form where she is able to transform her torso and upper extremities into her Onigo form. The form consists of a yellow hard outer exoskeleton and dark eyes with Blue Pupils. In this form she becomes a bulwark of a woman allowing her to plow through enemy defenses with her tough exterior that protects her from physical and elemental damage.

Mito knew the older girl would dodge. The blonde leapt back with surprising ease, nimbly avoiding her punch and the flaming arc that followed it, her hands forming seals rapidly as she soared away… and began to transform, skin shifting to a viscous yellow, eye darkening as she became, not a cute girl, but a terrifying monster. Shit. The red-head thought, charging in as Fuu formed her seals- only to lurch in place as the blonde let loose an ear piercing scream, throwing the teen’s balance off entirely.

She felt, rather than saw, Fuu’s arm wrap around her right, the viscous liquid seeping through her sleeves- and in that moment Mito reacted on instinct, seizing the blonde’s gooey arm and heaving it up with enough force to lift the stranger off the ground entirely before tossing her over her shoulder and into the ground with enough force to crack bone, hopefully loosening the blonde’s grip on her arm- though if that didn’t work, she had another option. Not a fun one, but an option nonetheless.

As the girl attempted to wrap her arm around the woman she'd find that the woman had some colossal strength behind her, Fuu's expression would shift as she felt her body being pulled off of the ground. "Whoa, Whoa!"

But as she was lifted up she'd keep her arm coiled around the woman getting a full latch on her arm, while forming another seal sending chakra into her outstretched limb whose added heft would begin to injure the arm as its hardened texture added to the tautness of her grip potentially causing some additional injury to her opponents arm. The landing would hurt but due to her transformed body she'd be able to sustain the blow but not without her back feeling the sting.

As she landed she'd loosen her grip getting back control of her hands and standing up. With that she would rush herself towards the woman she was fighting accelerating to her top speed whilst attempting to launch her into the air with a swift kick to try and sending her sky high. If successful she'd once again use her outstretched arm to coil around her body, starting from her leg up.

"Okay take this!" If she managed to get a hold of her she'd pull the woman down letting gravity do most of the work and smash her into the pavement the combined force of her hardened body knocking the air out of the young woman, If her efforts succeeded the girl would begin to feel herself becoming frustrated.

"Uh-oh...my chakra is getting out of control, I need to hurry." One of the side effects of the Onigo transformation was how unhinged they became the longer they remained in their form and while Fuu did have a good degree of control at times it did get the best of her and would slowly cause her to become more and more upset.

Mito felt the blonde’s arm squeeze hers, gritting her teeth as the woman’s strange, stretchy power fought against her natural muscle… and, with a sickening crack that had the red-head scrambling for breath, her arm broke, snapping her right arm in two places and forcing her to drop her kunai. The older girl didn’t stop there though, recovering quickly from being thrown and coming at her with full force, delivering a powerful kick to her abdomen from below that she simply didn’t have time to react to, sending her flying upwards.

Not… not yet… She thought, gritting through the pain as pulled a second kunai out of her hip pouch, this time with her left hand, tossing it at Fuu’s chest as the older girl once more tried to use her odd, stretchy arms to take a hold of her. Mito formed a single hand seal with her remaining hand, breathing heavily as she was thrown down into the ground, smiling despite the shooting, aching pain in her back and legs that came from the impact… because the kunai she had thrown had an explosive tag wrapped around the hilt. And with her hand seal, she’d just activated it.

As Fuu's kick connected and as quickly as she could she'd slam the girl down but as the woman reached the apex of her jump she'd drill a kunai in her direction which Fuu would react too by raising her chiton infused arm up towards her adversary to protect her from the slung weapon as she pulled her down.

There was a standstill for a moment was it over, but after a moment the familiar sizzle of a kunai would sound off and Fuu would feel the Chiton on her arm blow apart from the explosion leaving her left arm with a searing pain "Gaah." in response her body would secrete extra fluid to cover over the wound, as the grip on her opponents leg would loosen from the shock of the explosion.

As the fluid regrew, Fuu would regain some of her durability but could still feel the pain beneath her arm. The pain however would only exacerbate her slightly deteriorating mental state. "Knock it off!" Frustrated Fuu would have her arm redirect her grip around the woman particularly around her leg squeezing it trying to cripple it much like the girls now busted arm.

Fuu's goal was to keep the woman from fighting any longer she truly didn't want to kill her and with her opponent having now seen that her explosive Kunai wasn't much of a match against her Onigo form she only hoped that the woman would give up.

"I don't want to fight anymore...leave me alone or I will break your leg!" with that Fuu would keep the pressure on her hand slipped some down from covering her b, attempting to snap her leg under her tight grip, fiddling with a one handed seal or two to try and reform the Chiton around her arm.

Mito saw the woman’s frame get engulfed by her explosion… and remain standing. Panic filled the red-head as she tried to sit up, pain slicing through her side so hard she fell back, breaths coming in ragged, wet gasps. She could feel something tickling in her chest- a broken rib, probably, though if it had gone into a lung was beyond her. The teen tried to sit up again, gritting her teeth through the pain, only to feel the blonde’s strange, stretchy arm coil around one of her legs, squeezing tight, tight, tighter until-

Crack!

The teen gasped, breath catching in her throat as she tried to scream out in pain… and failed, falling back to the ground as tears began to form in her eyes. Oro had beaten her soundly a good few times, but he’d never gone so far as to break a bone, let alone the several that this woman had gone for, and the pain of those breaks had finally fully caught up with her.

"S-stop… p-please, I-I won’t… please, just… don’t kill me…” Mito managed to stutter out, gasping for breath as her vision began to darken- and went out entirely a moment later, her body going limp in Fuu’s grip. She wasn’t dead, but she was clearly hurt, badly, and wouldn’t last without medical care. The road was open now though, and Fuu could leave, should she wish…

After taking her down Fuu would hear the girls cries she'd become quite frustrated nearly losing control but now knowing that the battle was over she would retract the exoskeleton and slowly regain her senses but still felt anxious from the transformation. She'd make her way over to the girl who was begging for her life and in tears. This isn't what Fuu wanted she just trying to defend herself and now look what happened.

Before the woman had blacked out Fuu would hoist her up and headed back towards the town which was closer, it wasn't too far down the road but Fuu made her way there as quickly as she could. Thought in the back of her mind she was worried about if she'd miss her boat. As she made her way into the doctors office she'd call out. "I need a doctor!" the girl would say as she carried the unconscious woman in her hands.

"This girl she's injured and needs to get medical attention." she attempted to get her to a nurse or someone and was clearly concerned. Fuu herself also had a few visible injuries on her as well, a red blister from the burns she suffered at the hands of the girls explosive Kunai. "If this delays me I'll need to inform the path finder, good thing this is a solo operation." she'd think to herself as she let out a sigh and would decline any medical treatment offered.

Fuu made it exactly three steps from where she had smashed Mito into the ground before a man blocked her path, seemingly melting into existence directly in front of the blonde. He was covered in a thin cloak that seemed to shift colors whenever she looked at it, and was at least a foot taller than her. His face was hard, as if he’d been chiseled from granite, he had a mop of short cropped red hair, and his eyes were of a dark, coal-blue that reflected a cold, lethal edge. He wasn’t armed, but the young Tanjo Operative would know, intrinsically, he was dangerous. Very, very dangerous.

"Put her down.” The man said, his voice whisper quiet and almost emotionless. It was not a request, but rather a command, one with the implicit threat of violence behind it if it wasn’t followed, though the man stile made no move to harm either Fuu or Mito. What the blonde did now would determine quite a bit, not the least of which was whether she had to fight yet another stranger. Though given the sheer, imposing size of the man before her, it might not be the best idea…

As Fuu prepared to pick the woman up a man would come her way seemingly out of nowhere and Fuu would be rather startled by his sudden appearance he seemed imposing and made the anxiety she was currently feeling hit something of a fever pitch, just who was this man.

He would command for her to put the girl down and Fuu would gently set Mito down on the ground and step back. "Y-yes sir." She wasn't certain as to what to do and wasn't sure if she was actually able to run something about this mans presence made her feel as though she might've been somewhat outmatched even if she tried.

The girl would look to the man and stayed put, not sure if she should explain herself. "I...um..." the young adult was a bit of a loss for words he seemed to know the girl but who was he? Her father? Her master? Some kind of assassin there was no telling but all she could feel at the current moment was tension but wasn't certain if he was here to help or hurt her.

"I don't know who you are but She needs to see a doctor sir I was just trying to help." she'd utter. She didn't know who he was so that was all she said but who knows perhaps he saw it all unfold.
