Tunnel Strike after Support Squad

Arriving almost two after their support squad, it'd be after the conflict between the mechanical beings and Ishigakure forces. Due to the condition of the Ishigakure forces, as well as the drain of the first conflict for the Support squad. It'd be placed upon the advancing squad to proceed onto the true objective. The coordinates they'd met up weren't too far from the site Ishigakure accidentally dug up. A rather large tunnel entrance, it stood roughly five meters high and six meters wide.

Around the entrance was a relatively clear establishment of mostly worn down buildings. There was three buildings and a small silo, the buildings seemed to be one worn down warehouse, a sort of livings quarters building and finally an abandoned stable. It was almost all stone architecture and clearly had been worn down by the wind. Large holes in the various buildings. However at this point and time it was relatively dark and it was hard to fully make out the happening of the open tunnel.

Green eyes though dotted the surroundings, it would be near impossible without the right measures to spot them all. However there were some indistinguishable from others and too many to be completely hidden. [Further details in the next rotation] Unlike the Support Squad who'd need to rush in, there'd almost be a greater allowance for the Advancing squad to wait. As if enough time passed the Support Squad will be able to join in and help. Though based on the explanation of the threat, it seemed it could multiply and the longer they waited on squashing the source the more risk there'd be untold numbers. Though to their present knowledge the tunnel entrance was the only way in and out. Prevent them from getting out or coming back in then maybe they'd be fine?

You're able to spot the entrance point of the enemies headquarters from almost 500M's away. Though from this distance it's quite hard to make out finer details of the mine entrance and it's relic surrounding structures.

    Any comments given on the way to their destination was met with little more than nods as Tsusho was obviously becoming more focused the closer they were. He knew that moving at this pace would put them behind the support team, already having alerted them as such, not even as much as responding to the sly remark given after he moved back to his own team. This was likely the most serious any of these shinobi, including those that had seen him a few times, were likely aware of, as they had never followed him into battle or on missions. This was a side of Tsusho that rarely came out from the otherwise happy-go-lucky guy with that large smile plastered across his face.

    He personally had no sensory abilities to speak of, having to rely on anyone else that might have, but it didn't take sensing chakra to get a good idea of what they were walking into once they were close enough to hear and see. His immediate thought was to move over and try and relieve the support squad, but he had to trust them, they were shinobi just the same, and they had their job to do as well. Without speaking now, Tsusho made sure he was moving in front of everyone, but then made a motion to stop, letting everyone for no more than a full minute catch their breath as he prepared for battle himself.

    Pulling the large pack from his back he dropped it down and opened the large lid at the top, from it he pulled out a large scroll, quickly unraveling it across the ground as he slammed his hand down, using the puppet summoning technique. A large puff of smoke heralded two fairly large metal tarantula shaped puppets, big enough that either one would have had some trouble moving into the tunnel opening, but together would have been near impossible. Wrapping the scroll back he put it back into the large holster of the pack, putting a hand on the rather large scroll inside as he narrowed his eyes looking at the tunnel opening, then reaching for the third medium scroll inside.

"If you need any last minute preparations, do it now. Do it quickly."

    As he spoke, he pulled out the scroll and unraveled it much like the larger one before, once more dropping his palm down upon the scroll and using the puppet summoning technique, creating a similar puff of smoke, but now four puppets appeared. These were near identical to the two larger once, but far smaller, just about reaching Tsusho's own height. the inert puppets sat unmoving as Tsusho stored the scroll, grabbed the pack, and threw it onto his back once more. It wasn't the most chakra he had ever spent at once, but he thought that it was better to summoning these guys now than try in the midst of a fight.

    With his arms raising, chakra strings shot out from his fingers, connecting and bringing to life the metal puppets, essentially doubling the physical bodies in the advancing squad. Looking back at everyone, he had the spiders spread out, the two larges directly in front having the Romu leading them, with two of the Nemu flanking on either side, then the last two falling back to make sure to the side of the group to cover all of their flank entirely. Without moving the puppets he reached into a pocket on the front of his vest and pulled out three prepared sealing tags, walking to two of the puppets of the left first. The front had a tag slapped on the underside marked with "Buddha". The one behind it stuck to the underside as well had the marking for "Dharma". The last puppet, front on the far right had the sealing tag stuck to it's underside with the mark of "Sangha". Rolling his neck he walked back in front of the group, behind the two large metal spiders, flexing and cracking his fingers as the puppets moved around a bit, a few metallic creaks here and there.

"You all know your jobs, don't engage until I engage. If you spot something out of the ordinary, call it out."

    Moving forward, he motioned for the group to follow, and as they started, he moved his arms up and the puppets spread out suddenly in a different formation. The two that were in front fell back flanking either side, the one puppet he didn't attach a tag to jumped back and was now following, causing Tsusho to raise his arms up his in the air, and the three that were tagged spread out in front of them.

"If you see me move these three puppets in any formation of a triangle, get the hell back fast and don't get near them."

    He'd slowly move the group towards the entrance of the mine, formulating a plan in his mind as they moved ever closer, spotting eyes from the darkness, moving his three puppets up a bit further, keeping the three near one-hundred yards ahead.

[Nōhime Ouritsu]

The group's pace had put them a ways behind the support squad in terms of arrival but for the heavy hitters that this squad was composed of --at least the one or two Ouritsu was familiar with-- taking that extra time to ensure that they were prepared to hit the ground running once they arrived seemed worth lagging behind a bit. The chunin did what he could to steel his nerves as they neared the coordinates but that was about all he could do in terms of advanced preparation; none of his techniques required set up before hand and to be honest he wasn't really sure what would be really effective until he tried 'em out on whoever they were fighting. Well, that wasn't entirely true but every Jinton technique took with it a good bit of his chakra so firing those off left and right wasn't something the Nohime was intending to do.

Arriving at their destination one of the first things the chunin noticed were the old and dilapidated buildings that cradled a tunnel just large enough for people to squeeze through. Confined spaces weren't the best places to fight and it was even more difficult to avoid friendly fire so he hoped that they wouldn't have to spend too long walking through it. As the group came to a stop Ouritsu would take a couple moments to catch his breath, they hadn't moved at a blistering pace by any means but it had been a consistent one at some distance so it was cool to get at least a momentary respite.

He'd listen to Tsusho instruct the group on taking care of any final things before heading into the fray and subsequently summoning a host of sizable puppets. Ouritsu had never seen anything like it and wondered how he was going to keep track of them all, especially once they took positions around the group. The Nohime would move towards the rear of the squad to where he had been instructed earlier. While he would have preferred to be right in the thick of it, or at least a bit more up front, his skillset was understandably better suited for setting up opportunities for others or even himself given enough time. Besides, being closer to the rear would allow the opportunity for him to test out a thing or two.

[Tantetsu Morihito]

Morihito would look around the group as they kind of saunter along. They wanted to make sure that everyone was completely ready for the battle ahead of them which was poised to be a long, very tough battle. They had to make sure that they were all ready and had what they needed for combat. You could see the shift in Morihito from the calm demeanor that he usually has to the very serious and focused to point where he is just looking around. He was watching their rear and have a barrier or wall ready to put up. He would hear tsusho give his command and continue by saying "You heard the leader, keep your eyes peeled and your weapons ready. We cannot afford any mistakes from here on out.”
They would continue walking up to the town that looked pretty much abandoned. The houses and buildings look like there are holes and some are destroyed. He would see his cousin start summoning his puppets and moving them ahead they would be some spiders and other steel puppets. They would be a little ahead. As they approach they could see in the tunnel just a lot of green eyes start showing up from the shadows and the darkness. Morihito would try to stay middle of the pack and be on the lookout and being very watchful and prepared to defend whoever would need it.

Taki "Bakudan" Okada

Taki would hear out what was stated taking a look at their surroundings knowing how deep everything was down in the cavern really made her wish she hadn't abandoned her sensory training. Tusho would give the orders and was told to effectively stay back. "Don't mind me." she'd keep towards her cousin Tetsuo like she was told wanting to make sure that the two of them stuck around together. Aki was continuing to gather sage chakra on the woman's behalf whilst Fudo along with her cousin stood their ground if need be.

Taki would look along with her companions at the area, everything seemed to be practically abandoned she'd take note of the others as she looked towards Tusho. "Hey Bossman think you can keep me covered here, while we have time I'm almost ready." with that the girl would look towards Tetsuo. "If you got anything that'll keep me off me Tetty I'd appreciate it."

The girl would say as she kept her hands still and would allow herself along with her small chimp companion to keep gathering along with her. She wasn't sure how many enemies were coming but she needed to make sure she had the abilities to come at them as best she could, and while it may not have lasted quite long it should still be enough to handle whatever comes their way. The cavern before them was large and that means whatever might've been coming out of it was going to be equally as large.

DESCRIPTION:
Summoning one or more of their sage animals, these animals can then fuse themselves to the user's body and remain still, allowing them to gather natural chakra for the user whilst moving and fighting. This technique is invaluable to Sennin, however the gathering rate of Natural chakra is slightly reduced as compared to gathering by oneself. This means regaining Natural chakra takes one turn longer than it normally would, however the added benefit of movement whilst doing do definitely makes this technique worth the wait.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

[Wrestling Genius]

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

Okada Tetsuo

As the squad finally arrived at their destination, Tetsuo was already looking around to figure out what had happened and what might be their best course of action. As they approached the wide tunnel entrance the holder of the Okada clan's collective braincells reached up and switched his ENES to infrared mode, hoping to get a better look at what awaited them inside the tunnel, as well as get a feel for its structural integrity.

As the Blasting Corps' Lieutenant of Structures, developing a plan of attack was generally within his portfolio and he had every intention of ensuring that he utilised those skills here. The Tokujou was looking for anything that might stand out to give them advantages or even just avoid problems as he scanned the tunnel, trying to work out the best course of action with the early information available to them.

The few eyes he had seen before activating his scope had him worried for ambushes, and the fact that they were likely going to walk into a tunnel to gods know where added to the general feeling of a potential trap. It was best to get as much information as he could as quickly as he could before someone did something avoidable that got them all into trouble.

While not flaunted, Tetsuo has a genius level intellect and can be counted amongst the ranks of prodigy shinobi currently alive. Tetsuo's memory is excellent and he can recall events and information with rich details. and his mind works at an incredible speed, able to do calculations even during the stress of combat. His memory is nearly flawless, and he is quickly able to determine weaknesses in his foes. He is not one to show off, nor point out his own intelligence, rather allowing others to see it or not of their own accord. He doesn't have time for such nonsense after all.

Tunnel Strike after Support Squad

Slow approach wasn't a bad idea and some would say more preparation equals better results. Though it'd be hard to miss the entry of multiple massive and human sized puppets. A single scavenger, perhaps the easiest to spot would react first. It's eyes seeming to just blink, as it'd look all around it, then stare at the tunnel entrance. There'd be a returning blink, it's source unclear, but after it happened all the stillness would come to an end.

Scavengers shifting to the shadow, as well as clinging to the building and rocks closest to the Tunnel. Awaiting the impeding attack, at least that'd be the most clear response. Upon getting closer only ten of the human sized living puppets would seem to be awaiting attack. Split up to almost seemingly guard the long abandoned mining operation here. There purposely likely readily not clear, but with the easy approach of the squad time would give answers.

Closing about a couple hundred meters to the small encampment, the loud stomping of two tripod like metal puppets. Though these wouldn't look identical to the examples the support squad had to offer. They had two extra pair of arms and five extra eyes. Each rushed out to station themselves as guards to the tunnel. Attempting to mirror the leading spider puppets, it'd seem as though they'd not register these puppets as anything less than new combatants.

"Heads up."

    His words were calm and only just loud enough for everyone to hear, as he spotted the first of the puppets moving, keeping the same pace he had been up to this point. Pulling his fingers back the three puppets up front jumped back and were now walking in front of Tsusho. Looking back over his shoulder, he turned back again, knowing that any minute a fight could break out.

"Do not let them surround us if possible. I'll try and keep them away from our flanks best I can. Remember, these are not humans, so do not hesitate with a killing blow. Taking them alive for questioning is almost certainly pointless."

    There was a focused stare as he heard the loud sounds, then as they came into view Tsusho gave a loud sigh, but still didn't slow down his approach. All sorts of strategies were racing through his head as the team leader, as it clicked in his mind the big weakness of his own metal puppets.

"If we can we need to close off that tunnel entrance. If we do find any humans, alert me and I'll try and capture them, no one else attempt to do so unless the situation changes. Once we shut off that tunnel and deal with these puppets outside of it, we'll go from there. If anyone has a lightning chakra nature now would be the time to let it be known, as metal puppets, as I can attest to, do in fact have a weakness to lightning."

    Taking another deep breath, he rolled his neck and leaned forward, extending his hands outward.

"Let's move in and engage the enemy."

    With that Tsusho finally started to pick up speed, not necessarily going directly to attack but to clear the distance now between them and the other visible puppets.

Enhanced Puppet Compatibility
Before he had a permanent human teacher, Tsusho had one of the arachnid kind, which made his teachings both difficult and incredibly rewarding. The widow spider Ahmya is a strong puppeteer in her own right, having taught Tsusho how to better control and have a connection with his arachnid puppets, making his puppets response time near instant compared to normal puppeteering. This is a mixture of anticipation and familiarity with his creations, making the puppets actions much quicker and smoother.

As the group continued to approach the defunct mining buildings it was almost weird how easy their advance had been up to this point. The Nohime wondered if the support squad, in their rush to get here, had taken care of any enemies and moved further ahead to the main objective. If that were the case though they probably would have left someone to rendezvous with the advance squad to give a situational report, yet as Ouritsu continued to look around there was no one from that group to be found. It mattered not, however, as either all the commotion from the amount of people and puppets or the proximity to the buildings caused something to stir, a lot of somethings.

From the mouth of the tunnel and around it came odd looking creatures with piercing green eyes and long, claw like appendages. They numbered almost a dozen from first glance and it was clear this was probably what the Isshigakure forces had been dealing with. Just when Ouritsu thought that they didn't look to be all that much of a problem a rumbling sensation came over the area as two more but way larger creatures popped out of the tunnel and took defensive positions. Whatever these things were made a lot more sense as to why their allies had called out to them for help compared to the smaller creatures from moments before.

In what seemed like the blink of an eye what may have been overkill on their part had quickly become a near even fight and while the advancing squad still held a numerical advantage the lack of knowledge about these things made that a moot point. Tsusho would instruct them to try and close off the tunnel entrance if possible to prevent more of these things from joining the fray while anyone who had raiton natured attacks would be better served trying to deal some damage against what he believed to be puppets.

Wait.. puppets?

Well, if these things really were puppets then that would hinder what all Ouritsu was capable of doing to them but he could still confirm for himself while trying to help give the others an opening to attack. With the call to close the gap between themselves and the enemies Ouritsu's pace would pick up and once they got within about thirty yards or so the chunin would skid to a halt before stomping a single foot on the ground and moments later releasing a loud whistle. His targets were a couple of the smaller creatures to the right and should both techniques work as intended they would have experienced the world spinning and turning around them as a multitude of the Nohime's afterimages would appear all around them. His ability to layer genjutsu was still a work in progress, but advancements couldn't be made without some trial and error and there was no time like the present.

"Not sure if it's gonna work, but I tried to put a couple of em on the right under a couple genjutsu, so they may be easy targets right now!"

Countless after images will begin to move about them, the user seemingly moving about in such a fashion that the opponents eyes simply cannot keep up, when in truth the user is completely unseen. It can be seen through by those who use Doujutsu.

After a shrill whistle, the user will cast a Genjutsu over their opponent. After they hear the whistle, it will seem as if the world around them begins to spin. Everything turning upside down, making them almost unable to move without falling over. Leaving the opponent extremely disorientated.

Taki "Bakudan" Okada

Taki would keep herself composed and after a few moments of time, Taki would eventually gather all of the sage mode that she'd need for the moment and afterwards would begin her transformation her hair would grow in length and she'd gain a few more monstorous features however after a moment some of the markings on her face would shift in their design for a brief moment as her Chakra would flow through her giving her a slightly more human appearance than normal. "Awright I guess I'm gettin used ta dis." the girl would say feeling confident in herself.

With that seeing the large creatures in front of her the girl would prepare to push ahead however she'd look over towards the big bossman. "Hey I got Raiton but you ain't gotta worry, I'm going for the big guy somebhadi cova me!" with that Taki would push ahead getting a running start. She'd leap over the puppets Tsuhsho had in her way and aim to land towards one of the puppets accelerating at an alarming speed smashing her fist directly into the gorilla with a shockwave of before her gorilla companion even had time to react. "That girl is entirely too reckless." he would state, as she moved the small gorilla on her back would cling for dear life.

With that the girl would funnel sage mode chakra into her fist and smash one of the the larger golems with an explosive burst of chakra hoping to either break the golem apart or blast it away, after the large burst if she managed to succeed she'd land back on the ground potentially in the thick of it admist some of the larger puppets, but would hope that the collision would potentially send the large puppet to the ground.

While in Sage Mode Taki has learned to harness senjutsu chakra is very unique ways and as such is able to empower her manner of movement by manipulating how senjutsu chakra is used in the body. By funneling senjutsu chakra into her legs she is able to rapidly cover a large distance by pushing off of her backfoot and accelerating her body in order to allow for faster movement to clear a vast area at a high speed in a short period of time making a beast on the battlefield.

Upon impact the wind pressure will detonate and launch the opponent back a considerable distance.

Summoning one or more of their sage animals, these animals can then fuse themselves to the user's body and remain still, allowing them to gather natural chakra for the user whilst moving and fighting. This technique is invaluable to Sennin, however the gathering rate of Natural chakra is slightly reduced as compared to gathering by oneself. This means regaining Natural chakra takes one turn longer than it normally would, however the added benefit of movement whilst doing do definitely makes this technique worth the wait.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

[Wrestling Genius]

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

Okada Tetsuo

Getting no real information from his scanning of the tunnel yet, Tetsuo simply moved up with the rest of the group as they headed into combat range with the first of their enemies. "If you can safely get me close enough to the entrance of the tunnel I can collapse it for the time being," he responded to the team leader's orders, not wanting to rush out there and get cut off from the rest, that would only serve to cause problems for them and over-extend the group. "Also, I'm Raiton aligned," he added after a moment, having just been thinking of his best way to approach their enemies right now.

"But for now, let's try and make this easier on everyone," Tetsuo remarked as he darted forward to the front of the group even as Taki leapt forward to deal with one of the larger constructs they were facing, the smaller Okada blurring out of sight to appear within the spread of enemies with a quick Shunpo, his hands quickly flipping through a trio of signs before slapping down on the ground as he unleashed a Kinbaku seal aiming to capture as many of the enemies as possible before his team got closer, the dark lines of the seal spreading out across the ground in a split second.

A second Shunpo would have him disappearing back to the relative safety of the group should he manage to get there unmolested, where he would take a moment to regain his bearings and decide on the next course of action. If he was stopped...well that would be a different issue.

While not flaunted, Tetsuo has a genius level intellect and can be counted amongst the ranks of prodigy shinobi currently alive. Tetsuo's memory is excellent and he can recall events and information with rich details. and his mind works at an incredible speed, able to do calculations even during the stress of combat. His memory is nearly flawless, and he is quickly able to determine weaknesses in his foes. He is not one to show off, nor point out his own intelligence, rather allowing others to see it or not of their own accord. He doesn't have time for such nonsense after all.

DESCRIPTION: Within the Step Method's branching techniques, the Flash Steps is the most refined for pure velocity and acceleration in one, linear direction. From the point of origin until the shinobi stops, they are able to move at an incredible pace, practically vanishing from sight. However, this is an incredibly taxing method of movement, and if used to move too far it can stress the body. It cannot reach the speed granted by Body Flicker, but it is not quite as devastating on the user. Traveling beyond fifteen meters with one step will cause great stress to the body. It still has a high chakra cost, but the muscle strain will immobilize the shinobi for one round as their body recovers. It is possible to utilize multiple flash steps back to back, but cost must be paid individually.

DESCRIPTION:
After three hand-seals, the user will slap both hands on the ground and summon an intricate spherical seal on the ground, ten meters in diameter, with the user at the epicenter. Anyone or anything standing on the ground within ten meters is then sealed to the ground itself, locking their feet in place. They will be stuck in place until the seal is broken, which can be achieved by destroying the ground it is summoned on. People who were not inside the range can move over the surface of the seal once it's been summoned without any issue.

Immortal Machine: Tunnel Strike

Tunnel Strike after Support Squad

The two larger puppets didn't seem to be taunting or displaying any bouts of monstrous rage, they'd watch as the Advancing squad approached. Their skavenger brethren were however coiling up, as though ready to pounce. Fingers swaying slowly as though grass swaying in the wind. They had no air about them, as though totally without intention. They were setup to protect the tunnel entrance it'd seem. There pair of eyes adjusting, as they'd seemingly calculate the enemies approach.

The enemy planned for the Okada rush, but they didn't seem too prepared for it. Taki and Tetsuo covering an unexpected distance quite quickly. One large puppet forced to face down the sage, as the other would proceed to advance against the puppet force ignoring the sage. A midst chaos Tetsuo would successfully bind five puppets, three which were seen in the approach. Two which became noticeable upon being so immersed.

Taki would see the puppet quickly tensing to attack with six weird fists, it was impressive it could ready itself. Though it was still not fast enough to react and her fist would meet the puppet. An imprint of her hand now borrowed into the puppets chest, it'd be thrown a slight distance back. Two of it's strange hands suddenly exerting a spray of strange green liquid. It'd shoot out 25M in front of itself. The goop was acid and even a little touching would trigger a sensation of pain, as it had a very powerful corrosive property.

Tetsuo wouldn't find turning midway in easy, as upon throwing themselves into the fray. They'd not only catch eye of a very strange snake scorpion-esq puppet. One of the unseen ones that'd been caught, but the stable closest by wasn't empty. None of the buildings seemed to be and without hesitation the stable dweller burst for Tetsuo placing itself in between their way out. It fit the original description of the support squads large puppet opponent. Two Halberd for arms, three bug like legs and incredibly well armored.

Retreating wouldn't of been Tetsou's clear best option either. As the two Okada advanced, the Immortal Machines forces would react with a trap. Six snake like puppets would unbury themselves without a noise, they'd emerge two a person at the non-Okada who'd approached a bit slower. They'd leap in tangent attempting to catch the shinobi off guard, as well as grapple them into a position they can begin constricting.

Clan Kekkei Tōta: Tantestsu - Kōton
Despite being trained primarily in Puppetry and Summoning techniques, Tsusho is more than adept at his inborn clan's Kekkei Tōta. His puppets themselves are sculpted out of metal using his Kōton control abilities, and manipulated similarly with a mixture of Kōton control and chakra strings.

Enhanced Chakra Control
Tsusho learned at a young age that using chakra meant more than simply expelling as much of it as possible as quickly as possible, and being both a puppet-nin and a summoner meant need great chakra control. This control is used for using multiple puppets at once without expending mass amounts of chakra as well as manipulating the metal composition of the puppets all at once.

Enhanced Summons Compatibility
Spending more time with his summoned companions than human companions built up a strong rapport and bond with the spiders he signed the summoning contract with. Given the trust and the acknowledgement of Tsusho's strength, he's able to summon a rank higher than he normally would be able to dependent on his shinobi rank.

Enhanced Puppet Compatibility
Before he had a permanent human teacher, Tsusho had one of the arachnid kind, which made his teachings both difficult and incredibly rewarding. The widow spider Ahmya is a strong puppeteer in her own right, having taught Tsusho how to better control and have a connection with his arachnid puppets, making his puppets response time near instant compared to normal puppeteering. This is a mixture of anticipation and familiarity with his creations, making the puppets actions much quicker and smoother.

Kōton Gear Arsenal
The best puppet shinobi treat their puppets like an extension of themselves. Tsusho keeps his puppets closer than most, not just by using his Kōton control to help manipulate them in combat, but to directly wear them in some cases. His Puppets gain the SA "Gear Arsenal", allowing them to be worn as if they were armor or other similar equipment in combat. When "equipped" the puppets that are in physical contact do not require chakra strings, but do require an equivalent use of chakra and are still controlled using the Puppetry Technique. {The puppets still count towards the puppet limit while using this ability.}

    By the time they reached the buildings and the open tunnel, they didn't give the creatures a chance to strike first, or at least that was the plan it seemed. As soon as they were within striking distance, both Okada jumped ahead and were unleashing their own attacks, which in theory, given the information they had, would have worked. In a short span of time the amount of enemies had seemed to double, and chaos was starting to ensue. It seemed that once more his skill to multitask would be put to the test, and much quicker than he had been expecting.

    Immediately his hands and fingers were moving around what seemed erratically, detaching chakra strings from one of his front three puppets, as the spider puppet in the back fell inert for a moment, as the chakra string temporarily dropped off of it as he hand swung back, pulling the chakra string from it and reattaching it to the front one. The chakra string he had detached from the front spider had been removed as it was was much closer to where the others were than Tsusho was at the moment, using that string to lash out and weave its way forward. Tetsuo would feel something of a shock, not quite like electricity, but more similar to a violent cold chill running through his body.

    Once more his arm was swinging wide, as the puppet that was the farthest back was now attached to a new chakra string and was leaping over Tsusho. At the same time he was pulling his left arm back, bringing all three of his seal tagged puppets in front of him no more than a few feet away, and with a tight grip of of the same hand, Tetsuo would feel an awkward and likely uncomfortable tug on his entire body.

NAME: Soen: Hitomi Goku - [Puppet Performance: Skillful Achievement with a Human Body]

DESCRIPTION:

A puppet performance technique where chakra threads are attached to various spots on a person's body; the head, torso, both arms, and both legs. The person being manipulated gains the ability to not only use their own techniques, but the skills of the puppeteer as well.

The origins of this technique lie on the battlefield. When a puppeteer's puppets were all destroyed, they would begin using corpses. To perform this technique with a living person would normally require both parties to cooperate with each other. However, a highly skilled user can control the target by force if the person is severely weakened or damaged rendering them unable to resist.

    The string attached to his body looked to split, and in an instant there was a main string attached to his back, but now one attached to each limb, and then one attaching to the back of his head. As Tsusho's grip tightened the pull was now more intense, yanking Tetsuo back as if they were one of his own puppets. His body would have flown not straight back, but straight up into the air, then yanked back with full force to try and pull him all the way back to where Tsusho was. If all went to plan, then Tetsuo would be standing right next to Tsusho, behind his three puppets.

    The puppet that had jumped over had placed itself in the air between Taki and the incoming corrosive liquid, likely to do significant damage, but shielding Taki from the spray, assuming they moved away once they were able.

    Just behind him were Oritsu and Morihito and his two largest puppets, turning to try and reposition them. With a movements to flick his wrists there was a spitting of dirt as creatures came flying out of the ground right in front of both of them, which would have been not more than a few feet behind Tsusho and right next to his puppets. The two large puppets had been previously placed flanking on either side of the group, and with Tetsuo and Taki attacking forward, it would have left them only flanking the other two. Given the surprise attack, Tsusho only had a moment to pull in his puppets, as each of the large body puppets would have thrown their entire bodies into one of the snake puppets to try and knock them away, leaving one still attacking each other Oritsu and Morihito.

    If it hadn't been for the ones attacking Tsusho as well, perhaps he would have had a better reaction to help the others, but had to react to his own attackers. Jumping back to make sure he didn't end up crushing himself, he pulled his arms in as two of the three puppets in front of him jumped back, using their bodies as makeshift weapons to crush down on each of the snakes before they reached Tsusho, wrapping all eight of their legs, trying to squeezes and crush the snakes in their own constricting attack.

[Nōhime Ouritsu]

A wobble, some stumbling, something was the expectation Ouritsu had when he loosed those techniques on his enemies yet there was nothing. Perhaps his timing was off or the two jutsu he attempted to layer on top of each other didn't mesh as well as he thought they would, whatever the reason it hadn't phased them which gave credence to the support squad's intel about them being inhuman in more ways than one. The chunin had initially believed that to mean they were just really strong people or perhaps had some kind of ability that made them formidable but no, they really weren't human.

Thankfully the others in the squad had attacks that were actually able to do some damage and the Nohime watched as Taki landed a resounding punch into one of the big enemies that sent it flying back. However, that only seemed to send a beacon for more of them to show up as a host of additional creatures emerged from the sand around them. "Oh shit." The chunin swore almost inaudibly as his eyes darted between the new appearances that, added to what was already in front of them, put the group at a disadvantage numbers wise. Their long tails and claw like appendages would probably make fighting up close a bit difficult and it was now clear that they were unaffected by genjutsu which left Ouritsu a bit short on options. No matter, they had to be dealt with either way.

Just then in a flurry of movement two of the large puppets that Tsusho was controlling swung back around attempting to slam into a couple of the slithering puppets which left a single one for the shinobi to deal with. "Alright, let's see how tough you really are." A quick set of seals would precede Ouritsu bringing his hands together before slowly pulling them apart to reveal a mostly translucent cube. With the puppet in his sights he would direct the cube to try and trap it as it grew in size before detonating the small orb of Jinton chakra that lay in the center of it. This wasn't the strongest attack he knew but there was enough chakra to vaporize vital areas and hopefully bring this thing down for good.

NAME: Jinton: Genkai Hakuri: Niku no Pondo [Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World: Pound of Flesh]

DESCRIPTION:
By increasing the containment chakra and limiting the Jinton chakra center the user of this jutsu can create a three dimensional shape (cube, cone, sphere, cylinder, etc) with a small Jinton chakra sphere within its center. Due to the lower than average Jinton chakra within the containment chakra this jutsu has the ability to disintegrate at the molecular level the affected area which will rend away at the most a pound of flesh, because of the nature of Jinton this is done very cleanly and quickly because the Jinton cauterizes the wound there is not an excessive amount of blood within the wound. This jutsu is weaker and slower than the original jutsu making it less effective but the lower chakra cost .

[Tantetsu Morihito]

Morihito would follow group and get ready for the combat. He kind of held back which was one of his first directives given by the commander. He would see the 2 okadas jump in, he honestly expected and would be ready to protect the sage and his other comrade of the village if necessary. His clansman and his puppets seemed to help with that. Using them to tank damage and deal some serious blows in the process. When all of a sudden from the ground two snake like puppets emerged and with one of his ally’s puppets coming to take care of one he would quickly make handseals and out of the ground below the snake a giant arm and hand made of steel erupted grabbing around the snakes neck and just crushing all the internal mechanism and still carrying the snake morihito move it toward the sage getting ready to try to intercept some of the damage that would be heading her way. Morihito would start to head toward Ouritsu saying "alright get close I’ll shield us and move forward as you take them out with jinton. We need to get Taki out of there and help tsucho out as much as possible any ideas?” He would then turn turn his lead and ask the same thing yelling "So Tsucho Any ideas what or where we need to go to get this taken care of? Taki looks like she might need some help.” He would focus on the arm of steel moving along the ground with a snake puppet in its hand and he would throw it in front of an attack heading towards Taki if it could make it in time and if Taki does not interfere with its path.
