[Natsu]

With one of the duo out of commission, there was only the Senju that the creatures of the earth would be threatened by. Senju Shiratama. The boy had been following his own senses in order to find the cause of this plague that rattled the land! Two chakra signatures he followed and two chakra beings he got. Two large and aggressive beings. He had entered their domain, their home, and he had no right to be there.

The two would charge. Smaller and larger creature. Whether it was the darkness that slowed him down, his bodily and chakra drained, or his fear at what was incoming, the boy would not get out of range of the incoming attacks. A solid skull of the creature would make contact with the boy’s body. Cracking a few bones and sending him into the wall. He’d crumple, gaining a few new gashes, bruises, and splintered bones. Crumpling to the ground, at the mercy of the beasts, the larger one would set a foot atop him. Holding him place with nowhere to go. It’s claws would nick his arms and body, though thankfully none pierced him.

Not so thankfully, the fire that erupted from the creature’s mouth overtook the young Senju. It took some of the creature’s foot, but it’s durability made that no more damaging than a person getting wet. Shiratama however... was not so lucky. Covered in burns, his hair singed. The beast would further press its weight into him, sinking him into the ground and forcing the air out of him. The boy would succumb to unconsciousness in little time. The beating, fire, and pressing of the foot being more than enough to knock him out. The large creature would remain there for a few more moments before stepping off of him. He was limp as a ragdoll. Breathing as light as the Uchiha girl. Both were down and out within the tunnels.

The threat neutralized, the two of the heavy duty fire breathers turned tail, screeching as they disappeared into the blackness. Alone in the tunnels, the mission would come to an end. The bodies of two young children buried deep beneath the earth. At the mercy of that which lay around them.

Name: Tunneling Worm

Immense, tunneling worms. Their heads are a large, four-sectioned beak, with two main jaws for crushing and slicing and two hook-shaped jaws for holding prey. Within this beak are three tongue-like structures similar to large, orange eels with toothy mouths and no eyes. The Tunneling Worm itself has no eyes, and it's long, cylindrical body is covered in horn-like spines as large as a man's forearm. They are thirty to fifty feet long and can dig as fast as thirty miles per hour. These monsters are very smart and are capable of learning and adapting. They are very sensitive to even the slightest vibrations, even speaking in a normal tone of voice is enough to attract one.
Abilities: Extreme sensitivity to sound and vibration, extreme movement speed, extremely powerful jaws and tentacles, near-human intelligence.

Huge creatures of like origin of the worm. It's head is large and plated, two mouths that are within one another. The four-sectioned baeak of the worm outside that of razor sharp jaws lined with multiple layers of teeth. This creature also has no eyes and relies greatly upon its sense of hearing to locate its prey, matching if not overstepping the tunneling worm. It has huge and durable legs to speed it forward, as well as wing-like appendages that assist in balance and possibly added length or holding. Three stories high and about as long for the larger one, these creatures also hold intelligence and can adapt to situations.
