I think most things listed here is fine, but I actually believe swarm/packs should not be counted as familiars, and that they familiars are individual animals. Things which act as a single mechanism or group should be summons due to the relative level of cohesion and intelligence.

Description
It is easy to tell when another's voice sounds distinct from those who you are typically around. Individuals who have traveled far and wide, or have mingled with others from varying parts of the shinobi world will be able to recognize the dialect of Nihongo being spoken to them. This skill helps a character to identify dialects in a language the user knows to figure out regional and potential information about the heritage of their target. This makes it easier to understand where they might be coming from and how the user might be able to better appeal to them through their respective trade.

Description
This skill helps a character know the goings-on in the world around them. They try to keep informed of all the latest developments in any region. The information obtained is always publicly available knowledge and never secret or classified information. A successful deployment of this skill has the user successfully asks questions and learning information about the local area typically so that they can enhance their respective business or trade. On a failed use, people either don’t know or refuse to answer the character’s nosy questions.

Description
For this trick, all one needs is a standard ryo note. The user will fold the bill and for added suspense the bill with be balanced merely between both thumbs. Ever so slowly,
the user will pull back one thumb, and the bill will miraculously balance on one thumb while the unsupported side will appear as if it is levitating. Without the masterful control of chakra that many ninja posses, this skill will even astound many shinobi. The truth that lies behind this performance is that as one folds the bill, a coin is inserted within the bill to offset the balance on the 'levitating' side. This skill is available to citizens pursing magic.

Description
Performance is not solely about carrying out a desired skit or lines, but also reading the said targets to know whether they are truly enjoying the material. If your the target audience is approving of ones performance, this skill allows its user to know how best to maintain it. Cases where the audience remains unamused the user will know that they should change up their material, or in certain trades they would know when to cut their losses short and move on to a more interested customer. Higher ranked civilians need only a single post of observance for successful deployment, lower ranked require two.

Description
This skill allows the user to familiarize themselves with various greetings, business regulations, and customs of nations apart from one's own which is essential to expanding one's brand while they are abroad. Lower ranked individuals may still commit some faux pas while utilizing the skill during rare occasions. Higher ranked individuals are less likely to do so.

Description
For the user, messaging is about telling the business's story in a way that attracts prospects to your doors and turns them into customers. The challenge is that, if the user is like most, they tell their story in a way that doesn’t differentiate you much, if at all from similar trades. But to create a powerful perception of value, the user tells a compelling "before” story and the "after” story. The user does their best to connect the data with emotion. Often the best way to do that is to talk about the people who were affected by the challenging environment they were working in. Then talk about how their lives became better, easier, more fun, or less stressful after utilizing solution or product.

It would likely be conducted in the form of a speech to present a cost-effective manner of how your trade is beneficial for many.

Description
This skill allows those pursuing the medical field or a related trade an advanced understanding of the names and functions of parts of the human body. Without a proper knowledge of anatomy, efforts in their field would mostly be guesswork. They know where major organs are on humans and related apes, the names of all the bones in the skeletal system, and even the functions of various cranial nerves. Naming and identifying is the basis for those working in medicine or biology.


Name: Basic Ethology
Rank: I
Concentration: Very Low
Type: Academia
Description
This allows a character to observe the actions or habitat of an animal from their country and interpret what is going on as well as identifying said animal. Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. One must be in a field relating to animals or survival to learn this skill.

Description
The character with this skill is trained as a designer of both great and small things. Engineers can prepare plans for everything from small machines to transportation devices. They know the theory of their trade and this skill allows them to draw up plans for how they intend to apply mathematics to build design, or improve structures. One would still need the skill to implement these designs and find the necessary workmen.

Description
A character with this skill has a basic knowledge of plants and how they grow. They know how to tell various species of plants apart and under what conditions each type of plant grows best. Most of the time they can tell poisonous plants from non-poisonous plants. At this level, the user can only identify plants from the country in which they reside in.

Description
By combining medical knowledge with chemical knowledge, it is possible to gain a significant amount of information from a corpse without the use of chakra. Autopsies have formed the basis of forensic, anatomical, and clinical pathology. Supplied with the right materials in a laboratory setting, a character with this skill will be able to find the time and cause of death for a human corpse. If they are in a field relating to animals, they will be able to find the cause of death in animals.

Description
This skill allows a character to properly tend to the sick and injured. While many have basic medical knowledge inherent to taking care of others, characters in the field of medicine or hospitality are capable of aiding others with great efficiency. The user’s role is to provide an optimal environment to facilitate the patient’s own recuperative abilities, by monitoring the patient and tending to his needs as required. Novices using this technique may take longer to diagnose and tend to injured characters while masters may only need a glance at their target to begin care.

Description
This skill allows engineers to supervise the competent workmen carrying out their plans, and ensure their plans are being implemented correctly. Engineers must have the skill 'Blue Prints' in order to read and understand the basic the design being created. At this level creations can be no larger than a four story building. The implementation of these plans follow a set schedule which may be completed before or after the estimated date.

Name: Hold the Fort

Description
Engineers with this skill are experts in designing fortresses, towers, walls, and castles. They know how to construct almost indestructible fortifications. In an emergency, they can quickly erect some sort of makeshift protection as well. Although this character can construct simple, temporary structures himself, he needs talented workmen to complete any major project. He has the skill to supervise and manage a crew of such workers such that the project is completed properly and in the shortest amount of time possible.

A skill required by those who often deal with animals. Whether they are farmers, shepards, or zoo keepers, animals can prove to be a very unpredictable or unruly group. With this skill the user learns how to coordinate and control pack of animals to move together. With lots of patience and care, an individual will be able to learn the unique characteristics of herding animals. Some in the group will be more docile and tend to stick together, while others are more stubborn and will scatter, and some are more independent by nature that makes them harder to control. A character with this skill will mostly have an idea about herding and controlling animals related to their trade, but may have a vaguer idea about herding animals at large.

Description
Those in the work of using metal, namely smithing and engineering, will need to know the various qualities of metals they are working with. Perhaps most important, they will need to know where and how it can be acquired. Thereafter, they can attempt to create art works in their given field.

Description
Although all characters have rudimentary cooking skills, characters with this skill are accomplished cooks. They have found insightful ways to make foods that typically take several hours to make in just a matter of minutes, significantly improving their profit margins. When competitors spend ample time on one meal, those with this skill are able to produce several.

Description
Character with this skill can sew, mend, and design basic clothing with stylish and colorful designs, given that they have the necessary materials to work with. They can also do all kinds of embroidery and ornamental work.

Description
Although all characters have rudimentary cooking skills, characters with this skill are accomplished cooks. They can turn foods that others may deem out of their palate into an almost addictive meal. A cook with this skill can make nutritious meals out of just about any edible substance and can create hot meals even in the wilderness, given that they are able to find the means to make a meal. Cooking a meal generally takes no more than a few hours, although the preparation of ingredients and dishes may take several. To acquire this skill, the user must be in a trade related to cooking.




Tier IV


Name: Diamond Cutting

Description
A character with this skill can finish the rough gems that are discovered through mining at an exceptional rate. A gem cutter must work with a good light source and must have an assortment of chisels, small hammers, and specially hardened blades. Uncut gems, while still of value, are not nearly as valuable as the finished product. If the cutting is successful, the gem cutter increases the value of a given stone to the range appropriate for its type per caret. (Fire Opal being on the lower end, Red Diamond on the higher end). The work may be exceptionally brilliant causing the value of the gem falls into the range for the next valuable gem.
