Cooking a meal generally takes no more than a few hours, although the preparation of ingredients and dishes may take several. To acquire this skill, the user must be in a trade related to cooking.
Tier IV Name: Diamond Cutting Rank: IV Concentration: High Type: Task DescriptionA character with this skill can finish the rough gems that are discovered through mining at an exceptional rate. A gem cutter must work with a good light source and must have an assortment of chisels, small hammers, and specially hardened blades. Uncut gems, while still of value, are not nearly as valuable as the finished product. If the cutting is successful, the gem cutter increases the value of a given stone to the range appropriate for its type per caret. (Fire Opal being on the lower end, Red Diamond on the higher end). The work may be exceptionally brilliant causing the value of the gem falls into the range for the next valuable gem.
