Clan Rules

1.) Before registering a clan you must check the Clan Index to see if there are open positions for your clan in the village you wish it to be part of. For example, Konoha's KG slots are already filled by the Senju, Uchiha and Hyuuga. Therefore no more KG clans will be accepted for Konoha.

2.) In order to have your clan approved, not only must you receive the standard two staff approvals required of any application, but you must also receive approval from the ruler of the village you wish your clan to be part of. So for example, if you wish to have an Iwa clan you will need to have the Tsuchikage review your app as well. This is to help ensure that paradoxes do not occur with clan histories (such as two clans both saying they were the sole founders of the village.)

3.) Clans are required to have a crest. An example of this would be the fan of the Uchiha. If you have trouble deciding on one or finding one, the staff are happy to help. This is prominently in support of our site wiki so that all clans will have an image available for their page.

4.) You can not state the entirety of your clan was killed. Not only is this unfair for other members wanting to be part of your clan, but more importantly it is unfair that you take up an entire clan slot for yourself. The clans numbers however may be limited, but will have to have a minimum slot count of three. With additional slots being opened at the staff's discretion.

5.) At this point in time all clans must be part of a village. This means that there will be no scattered or nomadic clans accepted at this point. This rule will remain in effect until the staff decide otherwise. (Which will likely be after the village's clan rosters have been filled up a bit.)  Scattered and World clans are open

  • World Clans - World clans are essentially clans from unplayable villages on site. (Uzumaki from Uzushiogakure) While they are from this village and this village would have an active hierarchy and populated clan, members may show up in one or two villages that were closely tied to them.
  • Scattered Clans - Those from scattered clans can appear anywhere and everywhere. They are essentially every man fends for himself as they have rarely have a hierarchy or organized home to return to.

6.) Upon the approval of a clan, the member who registered it becomes the OOC head of that clan. Therefore anyone wishing to be a part of that clan must get the okay from them on their profiles. This is meant to ensure that the member applying for a clan member accurately interprets their history and abilities. OOC clan heads may ask you to revise your character application, but if it is apparent they are merely trying to keep you from joining the staff may overrule them.

7.) When registering a clan, the thread title should read THE VILLAGE NAME | The Clan Name. The only exception to this are clans that do not reside in any particular village which would instead be titled as SCATTERED, The Clan Name. This is to make both searching and cataloging the clan easier as well as to inform village heads if any clans require their approval.

8.) Custom registered clan may be part of multiple villages, with the clan in each village essentially being a different branch. These branches may not have intertwining hierarchies and must essentially be stand alone from one another. Additionally while their abilities may be similar it is asked that they differ from one another slightly. Lastly canon clans will not be allowed to be registered for multiple village unless already marked as such, like the Yuki clan.
