DESCRIPTION:

After a set of 5 hand seals, the victim(s) finds himself naked and suspended on a roman-style cross, his weight supported only by the nails in his wrists. Also bearing a nail in his legs, he is left to suffer the death of crucifixion, which is a slow and painful death of asphyxiation. The illusion only lasts for ten seconds, but in those ten seconds, the victim perceives the illusion lasting for vast periods of time that can reach into the range of weeks. The technique deals massive strain and mental stress if it reaches its fullness. This leaves the victim in a vegetated state. If broken with Kai, the strain is reduced, but this is dependent upon how long the suffering lasted. It ranges from the vegetative state to momentarily impaired senses at the least as the mind must reconstruct its place in reality.

To escape the technique the fastest and with no strain, at all, requires one simple thing: that the victim allows himself to die within the illusion. However, simply dying is of course harder than it sounds. The crucifixion process is only prolonged due to the instinct to live, and so every human being nailed to a crucifix will lift themselves up against the weight of the nails that have pierced them in order to breathe fresh air, only to collapse again. This can extend the dying process tremendously, such that a person can spend weeks living on a crucifix with no sleep, simply prolonging their death due to a primal desire to remain alive. To this extent, escaping in this way is likely to have to have radical effects on a person's personality.

This technique removes the target's the sense of touch. While at first this may seem trivial, it's effectiveness come from the fact that it strips the target (to a degree) of their connection to the material world. As the sense of touch is vital to even basic motions, moving itself becomes severely hampered, as well as hand seal formation and weapon use etc etc.

DESCRIPTION:

This technique requires that the victim hear the sound of Ko's sword as it is unsheathed. The sharp sound grabs the the victim's attention, and for just two seconds, the Genjutsu disperses their attention. The effect is similar to experiencing a lapse in memory, briefly drawing the victim's attention away from the battle in front of them.
