Missing-nin As a missing-nin you have committed some type of crime against your village. What your crimes are determines whether your village will want you brought in alive or dead. Generally committing a violent crime or resisting your capture with violence will result in your village wanting you dead. So, to this extent a Jounin level might be listed as a C or B rank missing nin, rather than an A or S. Essentially, you need to keep in mind that a missing-nin's rank in the bingo book reflects their threat to the village more than their combat abilities. Furthermore, as a missing-nin, you will be hunted and ANBU from your village may attack you in any open thread, any event thread, or if you are near your former village.
Furthermore, as a missing-nin, your movements will be more restricted than other shinobi, both in and out of character. In character, your village's allies will also have you in their bingo books, although likely they will have less information on you. This means that they can also attack you if you are near ally villages. As for out-of-character, you may not drop in open threads with the hope of killing/maiming other characters. If you wish to join someone's open thread you must pm them and ask permission.
This is to ensure that missing-nin do not go around killing genin or dropping into someone's mission and trying to kill off their character. Lastly, you may not enter any shinobi village without somehow getting past the gate guards. The only exception to this is if you are being received by someone within the village or during special events noted to allow missing-nin to drop in.
While it was implied, it will be stated explicitly. All threads involving Missing-Nin are death-enabled. |
