The sounds of the desert creatures echoed across the vast winds surrounding the village. They consisted of the groans of lizards and the chirping of Locust, each one near and yet far enough that they were hardly a threat to Sunagakure. For the moment...

Nightly Pursuit

In all this restlessness around them, Arashi found herself once more climbing out the side of her bedroom window, dropping down to the ground as she looked over her surroundings in the darkness close to the manor. It wasn't the first time she'd broken out of her room, she imagined it wouldn't be the last. Still, this time it was simply just to enjoy a moment that wasn't consisting of her dealing with old men and her father. That didn't hurt anyone right? Plus, she wouldn't be alone.

As she treaded out around the back of the building, she'd watch for movement from within the bushes, prompting her to see the white tuff of fur that belonged to Nai, causing a grin to cross her lips as she rushed toward her large canine friend.

"Hello Nai…"

The young girl would say with a smile, stroking the baseline of her fur, placing her head down against that of the wolf before soon turning as she began to climb up onto her back. Feeling her legs dangle, she'd then feel the beast begin to move, it's body slowly moving through the bristled bushes and softly into the streets.

The village was barely alive at night, at least, not so much within the streets. Sounds of laughter came from a nearby bar, but she never could tell as to why? Maybe it was the Saki. In the end, it allowed for exploration, her body held close to Nai's back as they moved along.

"I like it like this...don't you Nai? No one around at all...it's...perfect.."

In saying this, she felt a semblance of wind burst come from her left, causing her to turn as she thought she heard someone. But in seeing no one, the girl would then shrug, looking down at Nai as the wolf would blink before shaking her head while continuing onward.

"Oh? You wanna take me somewhere? Okay..lets go..anythings better than home..."
