Rolling her eyes at Rin, Yumi continued on her walk. Being silent didn’t necessitate having an attitude and you were a fool if you thought it did. This was why she didn’t like loud people. If you didn’t want to talk to them, they always got offended and started making some sort of false claim against you. Still it was nothing the good old silent treatment couldn’t fix. It was nice to know where everyone’s loyalties laid now though. She wouldn’t have minded working with Rin at first, but the bridge between them was already slowly burning. And she had no plans to put it out.
As the black haired girl cut her way through branches, Yumi narrowed her eyes. Was this forest getting thicker? She had to have Ms. Bubbles basically hug her due to all the branches sticking out. And since she preferred areas more open than this, she was already getting annoyed. She also noticed the silver haired girl sticking really close to Rin behind her. She didn’t really know what was up with that, and she didn’t really care. Still, she kept it in her mind in case she could use that bit of information later on in the future.
Listening to her partner complain, Yumi nodded slowly. They had been walking for quite a bit of time and she was sure swinging around that sword wasn’t that fun. She probably could’ve helped, but she didn’t want to dull her puppet’s blades. Plus the brash girl seemed to have it handled, so there was no need for her to volunteer.
Once the ongoing conversation between the two girls finished, Yumi immediately stared at the silver haired girl in disbelief.
"You don’t like climbing trees?!”What the hell kind of excuse was that? What kind of ninja was she? Not a good one, that was for sure. Sure Yumi was being a little mean, but this girl had it coming. First she couldn’t tell directions, second she didn’t like climbing trees, what was going to be the third thing? She didn’t like violence? Rolling her eyes, Yumi stretched her hand and sent Ms. Bubbles towards a nearby tree while glaring at the silver haired girl. Unbelievable.
Moving until she was side by side with her sword wielding companion, Yumi had Ms. Bubbles scale the nearby tree. All of the branches on it caused her slight annoyance, but it wasn’t as bad as climbing it herself. What she wouldn’t forget however was that her side of the team was doing all of the work while the other two were just getting the benefits without doing anything themselves. She wouldn’t forget that little tidbit of information. No, not at all.
As Ms. Bubbles made it to the top of the tree, Yumi would close her eyes and direct her chakra through her strings and towards Ms. Bubbles. Once their vision was connected, she would look around with Ms. Bubbles to see where they were. She would then relay the information to her black haired partner, not caring whether the rest of the team could hear or not. They needed to listen up if they wanted this information and if they didn’t catch it all? Well then they could just get over their little dislikes and actually climb a tree. What the hell kind of ninja doesn’t like climbing a tree?
NAME: Papettobijon [Puppet Vision]
RANK: D
CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu (Puppetry)
ELEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
By closing their eyes and concentrating on their chakra strings, a puppeteer is able to look through the eyes of one of their puppets, assuming their puppet has eyes. This effect lasts as long as the puppeteer's strings are connected to their puppet and they have their eyes closed. This technique allows the puppeteer to scout around by using their puppets and to also help them see if they are hidden inside their puppet. The vision from the puppet is relatively the same as normal vision but with slightly reduced color.
