Ijōna Kage is about utilising the hidden dangers of weaponry by attacking in such a fashion that doesn't make sense. Not to be erratic, but to make strikes that hide their danger: such as swinging a shield that clearly won't hit an opponent, only to turn it into a spear at the last second. This is true danger.

This isn't to say the style isn't erratic: but seems it. Usually best used by those who are masters of none and kings of many and their ability to either use a clone or simply outmanoeuvre their opponent through immensely versatile and condensed attacks, and utilising various methods in order to overwhelm their opponents.

NAME: Tsuppari Irege [Thrust Switch]

DESCRIPTION:

The foundation of most techniques, The user starts out with a weapon and aims for a thrust toward their target: clearly going to fail, the user swaps to a longer weapon at the very last second: using the added length to hit their target.

DESCRIPTION:

The user starts with a strike that is orchestrated enough with their stance and movements that the target will either follow with a counter to their intentional "wide opening" or block the strike themselves. What they might've not noticed, is the user themselves has put themselves into a stance that requires the target to put themselves into an either off balance, or self-opening strike.

The user, knowing this, changes their weapon at the last moment to block, or strike at the new appendage that has entered into their space with a twist of their body and the change of their weapon.

DESCRIPTION:

An assassination technique, more used during a handshake. The user first goes to shake the target's hand. The user can then quickly summon a small weapon into their hands, like a shuriken: and slice at them. or with their hand in close proximity to a person's extremities like throat, eyes, or anything in reality.

DESCRIPTION:

Quite a simple technique, the user interweaves a strike with a regular weapon, switches to a secondary weapon for a follow up attack and then returns to their original weapon. The same can be applied to defensive armaments like shields.

DESCRIPTION:

The user throws either an open palmed, or open handed attack in any fashion they desire. Either intended to act as a feint mid combat, and works best from a close to mid range. Except, from their open palm where a seal lies, exits a dozen projectiles [depends on what is sealed] that act as though they had been thrown by the user themselves at the target.

DESCRIPTION:

An effortless and very useful technique, the user can turn an ordinary object into a weapon of their holding by very quick sleight of hand. What someone may initially think is a thrown glass turns into a Kunai, by taking advantage of the brain's sight and the instantaneous use of the fighting style - but can be reasonably applied to different objects and weapons. But in order for this to work, is best used with objects of similar size (a kunai would suit objects of similar size, etc)

DESCRIPTION:

Requiring wire, the user turns by some method of taijutsu to grapple at the target. If and when they succeed, unseal wire into their hands to bind them.

Alternatively, the wire can be used as a sudden garrote attack: with a wire appearing between both of their hands as they thrust to grab at a target.

DESCRIPTION:

During a dual wield with a larger item, or for a more skilful shinobi (Jonin+) the user can summon items from their persons and use one to propel the other, like batting away items with ferocious tenacity.

DESCRIPTION:

Turning a bad situation into a good one, the user must be in a position that they are on the defence by manner of attack from another: In a Taijutsu or a Bukijutsu battle. When the target throws out an attack. The actual technique, is by using precise timing. The user actually completely goes to "block" the attack - but at the last moment seals and unseals their weapon. The target's momentum continues, to which the user has prepared a swerve in their body orientation to simply be out of reac to then continue their own attack in the same direction the target is attacking with and making a divisive strike to cut off the limb being used for the attack.

DESCRIPTION:

The user starts an attack with a polearm that is intended to through the target off guard. Through the perceived 'thrust' of the technique to a higher place (chest, shoulder, head), they then switch with either a mid or short length sharp weapon, step forward and into the target's space and then turn that thrust into a side slash intended to open up the target's midsection, or, with a close enough proximity: even parting the top and bottom halves of the body.

DESCRIPTION:

Requiring two pieces of equipment, the first being what the user is ordinarily using and then a second weapon: between their attacks, continue to requip. This is not ordinarily a danger to the target, but the real danger is that all of the momentum used between the movements the user is making, compounds against the secondary weapon being requipped.

At another point, when the user decides, they can release the fully charged, full strength weapon that will fly from their hands like a spring being unloaded: and its lethality will always be strong, but can be enhanced by the type of weapon used. A heavier weapon will carry more force, whereas a thing weapon will carry more piercing power: but whatever it focuses on, it will be charged to its fullest extent.

DESCRIPTION:

One of the best offense-defensive techniques that Ijōna Kage can offer. The user begins to augment their own body with chakra, and then using the Karada Fuuinjutsu or another applicable technique begins to swap their weapons rapidly: from shield to weapon (like a Katana) at such a rate that they can simultaneously "grip" both things at the same time. In the hands of a Bukijutsu sole, that can even turn into four weapons at any one given time.

This could theoretically allow a person to use two things at once: from using archery to fighting in swordsmanship like distance with another swordsman user. It allows someone to eliminate the dangers of multi-scenario attacks, and deal with multiple people all at once. Obviously, such a technique is very draining and can be maintained for three posts, and used twice before their body begins to fail on them for the use of chakra that it requires.
