"Ummmmmmm....Heh heh....none?"
With a sheepish grin, the girl showed that as smart as she may have been, she didn't actually look too far ahead at some other options. The fact that this place had held up for so long had proved to her that it could withstand something like Shukaku. But with it already starting to lean, there was only a certain number of times in which it could possibly remain standing. Sure, Arashi could probably attempt at rebuilding it later, but that would take time and that was something that she limited hours of.
Between working at the school, as well as looking after her siblings, even she couldn't be at two places at once. Well, she could, but the fact would be that it wouldn't be exactly right. Clones could do a lot of things, but without direct instruction, it would be a wasted effort.
And this place deserved full attention with what it had been through...
Sieges, possible looting, attacks from all around it. It was living, breathing history in solid form...
And yet she was using it as a bunker....irony...considering her love of such things...
"I'm sure I'll find somethin..this place is littered with areas....probably some deep...deeper...in..okay I get what ya saying.."
Holding her finger up for a moment as she pointed toward him to show that she did understand, the teen would then sigh as she shook her head.
"I just never thought it would get so bad to the point that it was leanin in on itself...I mean...I know it looks bad, but this place probably handled way way worse than me as a house-guest..."
It was a stretch to make such a claim, but then again, she couldn't exactly claim it as truth. Still, maybe it was something to consider, despite her phobia, to look for something further in.
As Asahi settled into his place, his position not too far off from one of the petals, the girl would do the same as she leaned back upon her arms, allowing the rays of light from the moon to rest close to them, allowing at least as good a view as they were going to get. Yet with the question of just how much of these defenses were left in the aftermath, the girl would blink for a moment before tapping her finger against her cheek.
"To be real....Shukaku has managed to get passed at least most of the petals save for one, but is usually always repelled by the Seal of Repulsion....Since he can't get out without my chakra, thats usually when he takes it to a more mental level. Eventually, when he realizes I'm not breaking, he just goes to town on the Sand Shield...."
The topic of Shukaku was coming up a lot, but it was required due to her responsibilities...
She had to account for everything and anything that he could do, and that meant learning from her mistakes. Every time something broke, she made sure to make it stronger. If a barrier was weaker due to impact, she had to reinforce it. It was a constant struggle of adapting and trying to build up better walls. This was her full moon period and she couldn't afford to make mistakes.
Though as Asahi attempted to change to subject, his interest toward her book coming up, the teen would blink for a moment before then shrugging her shoulders upon smiling cheerfully as she reached over toward her pack.
"Okay...."
In drawing back the binds of the cover, the girl would then lean to the side as she extended it out toward him, showing him the images that were painted upon the page.
"This is basically Rouran..the capital city that we visited before...before the Domiyo even came there, it was nothing more than just a series of pits and canyons...once the First helped to establish the clans, she eventually helped to use their gathered resources to construct the city as a place in which a head of the nation could actually sit. Not to mention make sure that practical governing of the region could be done by higher authority...."
As she leaned in a bit to look at it as well, she'd soon turn to the next page as she continued.
"According to Chono, he theorized that the established government that we use today...the trade system, the militia, the fact that Sunagakure does still have to answer to the government at the capital, was based off a military like system that was created by in familiar comparison to that of Konohagakure...only adapted to become more or less more militaristic. Thats why when someone does something wrong, it goes through a certain number of chains in the command so to speak. Ya get in trouble for looting...basically the militia....murder...investigation and if proven to be foul play...the Jounin Hancho....treason..that goes right up to the top of the food chain...the Kazekage..."
In saying this, she'd then blink as she considered her own actions...
"Considering what we did in Sekara, we got off pretty light..Kurokei-sensei is a old family friend...he literally looked after me and my brother when we were kids and made sure we stayed outta trouble...but even I didn't realize that he was an ANBU operative...he's probably up there with some of the top leads in the unit...but he could have easily taken it higher up if he wanted to...not to say that he didn't..."
Considering the lecture Arashi got in private, it hadn't gone without being heard by her parents. Which explained why she had gotten punished for it, along with her rotation duties as well.
