Fallen Blades' Eighth Semiannual Chuunin Exams!

Round Two: Cooperation Portion

Through a perilous journey through sixteen varying biomes, you've managed to succeed at round ones test! The room you're in goes completely dark, as the very ground shakes to life. A stone path forming from your position to the opposite side of the biome from which you'd originally entered the exam. A new door opens and the artificial sky creates a line of lights leading down the new stone path. A green light over the new door, as a voice announces "Proceed to the exit of round one, through the door lit by the green light." This would be the fastest way to the door with the least energy spent. Simultaneously, an odd sound would come from the other side of the room. A red light over the door they'd originally entered, with those who could see it would be the faint sight of animal shadows leaving the biome. Granted there were animals in the present Biome.

Upon reaching the door presented under the green light, a proctor would lead the shinobi and company down a winding path. It'd take them deeper into the earth, which would provide a nice moderate temperature to the hall. At the end of the path would be a Green door, it'd be opened for those taken to it and upon entering the shinobi wouldn't find themselves alone. All the contestants who'd made it this far in green uniforms originally would find themselves now in a room, it was a very empty room with stone floor and walls. Two chandeliers lit up an otherwise empty room. The doors the shinobi entered the room would be lined up next to each other on one side of the room. The opposite side of the room had one set of two doors sealed presently.

There'd been five doors next to each other on the side they entered, but two would remain shut hinting that two of the contestants hadn't made it. "Welcome contestants of this years chuunin exam, we're proud to see you've made it past the first round of the chuunin exams. Ahead of you is the door to your next round; a challenge which will test your wits, skills and most importantly teamwork. In order to allow for a more cohesive team, you'll be given as much time as you need to get to know one another. Once acquainted and ready to begin, you'll merely need to all exclaim ready! One at a time to trigger an announcement of your specific challenge, after the announcement it made those doors will open and you'll be timed on your execution of the task. You cannot use this time to rest, if anyone attempts to do so they'll be disqualified." After pointing out the door and explaining these initial rules, the proctors would leave the room allowing the team to get socializing.

Rules to Round Two

• No Summons can be used, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unsanctioned Equipment, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unwarranted Travel, restrictions will be made clear, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unsanctioned Animals, purchased and natural animals only, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Outside Assistance, if you befall an injury, sickness or worst you must rely upon yourself and team.
• Quitting is Allowed, but you'll be disqualified from further performing in this exam.
• If you fail to post here, by the end of the 22nd, then you'll be automatically disqualified.
• You'll have a week to 'get acquainted', if you all are ready prior, you'll still be forced to wait until the 22nd for a reply.
• There maybe more rules to come based on the specified challenge, do make sure you check this list the next time it appears.

Looking rather ragged, Roku would follow the path to the green light. Hoping he would find himself in a warm room with time to rest. Once he did emerge in the room, he would see four other doors, two would remain shut and never reveal the other two participants, while two strangers would emerge from the other two doors. Roku sighed silently and gloved ands curled into fists, his attention drawn to the proctor as they were informed about the next phase. [break][break]
So they'd have no time to rest. Great. Roku was disappointed, but at this point... how much worse could it get? A lot, probably. At least he still had chakra and hunger had subsided to the point where his stomach just felt numb. He knew if he were to eat anything he had to do so slowly. He adjusted the backpack, rusty brown eyes glancing at the other two contestant. One looked to be rather small, thin of frame and f he had to make a guess, she likely was focused on long range and ninjutsu. The other? Similar, so range and one of the arts facilitating that. Overall, they were ranged by the looks of it... Unless one of them had some hidden kekkei genkai which allowed them to go toe to toe with a taijutsu user. [break][break]With a rapidly beating heart, he would address them. [break][break] 
"Well... My name is Gure Rokurou. Fuinjutsu and Genjutsu user. I prefer long range." [break][break]
It was simple, surface information. He'd love to drag the exchange out a bit if only so they could all rest a bit while exchanging information... He would shed the winter coat as well, sealing it in one of the scrolls for now.

It seemed Kuni had made the right choice to sit. The entire room would go dark as the sounds of silence permeated the air, before shaking violently. Keeping low to the ground meant if the genin ever lost balance and fell, she didn't have to use her pain resistance needlessly. As quickly as it started, the room became still and the last door open. Kunikunosaku ground as familiar snow indicated one last trial of sorts with a lit path to another exit. Kuni groaned as she got up to cross the path. An unknown voice gave her directions on where to go next, almost how to proceed. Kuni continued onward, a tad stressed on what could happen next.

The snowy trail wasn't a bother, it was akin to the first landing, however, it was going backward now. The Takigakure female continued forward to the door down the path, ignoring whatever made that noise. Upon reaching the door, she was met by a proctor that'd take her the rest of the way to the next door. A breath of fresh air if the girl could breathe. Onto another green door, the Mikatakujira squinted before giving cold thanks as she went through. Entering the last room, Kuni saw a fairly open room that worried the girl, regardless, she'd enter; upon doing so, she saw four other doors, two more opened while two did not, the Mikatakujira look at whatever threat was next. The familiar face, that Suikakazurika chick and some spindly looking man. It didn't take long for the second set of rules to be announced, the girl listened for any clue next. Wits, cooperation, play nice. The girl dropped her side satchel, emptying the contents as the first guy introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, I'm Mikatakujira Kunikunosaku. I'm mid to close range Ninjutsu gal, I can fight no problem and I prefer it. Means I can go all out." The girl said rather harshly before gripping. This is your chance, take their hearts!

"We're supposed to work together, empty your gear and we can split up tools, we don't know what we'll need." The girl, thing dryly stated.

Jiongu | Earth Grudge Fear

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

[Suikazura]

    Almost immediately upon entering the fold of this new hall she would notice a green light. Sludging through her muddy boots and pants. The girl being caked in mud from the last two doors, making it obvious where she had come from if anyone had gathered that they had all been put in the same competition. The trail of footprints behind her small, but for the most part easily distinguished. After a time she would strip barefoot, removing the pants and boots to walk in the shorts. Her upper body simply moist from the time she had spent in the water even after drying off in a tree for some time. Halfway in she was met by a proctor and she would sigh deeply. It didn't look like she was getting her tools back anytime soon. She would follow the exam proctor into another room where the tattooed girl would be met with the sight of her 'compatriot' from a previous meeting.
    Listening to the proctor's instructions she would make sure to take in every word. It was necessary to survive as a unit this time through. Combining their skills for whatever was necessary, this would be interesting enough she supposed. The tall older boy would be the first to speak, he was more of a technical ninja, focusing on the lesser practiced arts. It would be fine though, they could use someone like that who could calculate everything from a distance. Kuni's answer came next, and while the name was a surprise for her, the only slightly taller creature's answer was not exactly unexpected by Suikazura.
The girl would run her hands down her arms and legs before patting her stomach, the gear she had stored throughout her various seals, recognizable seals for Rokurou. All of it slowly dropping to the floor as she released it in a circle around her. When she realized she was supposed to speak, she would seemingly jolt upright for a moment, having gotten entranced straight to doing the logical thing that Kuni has suggested.
    "Hana, Suikazura. It's a pleasure to meet you Rokurou-senpai. It's good to see you again as well Koi-chan," Suika would say bowing to them both, making the already short girl seem shorter, giving a glance to Kuni as she did, "I'm also a mid to close range fighter, though my specialty is in weaponry I can utilize a few other techniques. I'm also capable of carrying quite a bit, so all of the excess equipment can be stored on me!"

Rusty eyes observed the two girls, eyes lingering at the tattoos the brunette had. At first glance, they were simple tattoos, closer inspection revealed them to be seals. She would soon enough release the items held in there as well. He had read about the fuinjutsu enabling sealing items into your body or clothes, had been meaning to learn it too, but the exams had come around before he had been successful. [break][break]Roku adjusted the backpack, hesitant to just spill the items all over. He would keep his compass to himself, but unsealed the rest of his items and laid them out on the ground at his feet in neat order before he looked back at the girls. They had some repeat of items, though it was clear both girls had a more violent approach to things. The only weapons he had picked up were the ninja wire and pickaxe. Well... The scarf and cooking pot could have been used for makeshift weapons, but he possessed no kunai or shuriken like the other two. [break][break]
"Hmm, so you two take front and back, I take up the middle position. I can read maps too if that helps. "[break][break]
He shrugged. Map reading wasn't all that impressive, but the amounts of reading he had done as a kid and teen combined with the training in Kawa meant he was comfortable with reading maps and navigating with a compass as well as reading some forms of terrain.[break]
He carted a hand through his dark hair before he sighed, eyes moving across the items they had. Eyes glancing between Suikazura's eyes and the items on the floor.[break][break]
"Well, Hana-san, can you hold the less... relevant items like our sleeping bags, cooking pots and left-over tinder and flint?" He looked then to Kuni for a moment before his eyes avoided her, too. "And Mikatakujira-san do you need anything sealed? I have my scrolls and Hana-san has, well, herself. "

Kunikunosaku grabbed her head and groaned in pain. "I'm sorry, I hit my head earlier. I am Kuni Kunō. I legally changed my name." Kunikunosaku said in her lighter tone. You're tired, let me drive. Fuck no! We are working together, do not hurt them. Kunikunosaku sighed, "Affirmative. Please be our navigator, Roku-san. Suika, be our middle, range fighter. I'll be the lead, my jutsus are meant to fight up close. Roku, grab some of my smoke bombs. Suika, get my Kunais and some shurikens; hand me that Tanto if that's okay." Kuni said, or ordered subtly to help in distribution. "Now, I think I'm ready, mission or not, I'll lead... I'm difficult to hurt."

Kunikunosaku admitted shyly. She looked at her team, Take their hearts! Kunikunsaku stood up and completely closed her eyes. "Now, what are you guys thinking. What is our plan?" Zangyaku Kōi walked around its supposed team, slightly angered at who they are and why Kuni was so weak and tired. It was amusing on some level, especially as any heart would do Jiongu good. Zangyaku kōi allowed the tendrils to pierce through its skin and flail in the air. "Might as well show it." Kōi stated in a cold, dark, monotone. "Kuni is dead, this is our clan's power. Trust me, I am hard... So, we can work together or..."

"Who's ready. I know I'm ready."

[Suikazura]

    Suikazura already sensed the disfunction of this team, but they would need to work together as best as possible. She would catch Rokurou's stare and meet it when it came across her, but the one that held her attention mostly was Kunikunosaki... Koi... someone. She started to act a bit different when she began to show the tendrils, but that wouldn't phase the small girl in specific, she had seen this much.
    "I'll stay in the middle and I can take up the rear as well if need be, but I don't recommend having me do that unless absolutely necessary. We don't exactly know our quest though. For now I need a little time to seal up anything we don't need." Suikazura would say as she would begin collecting all the miscellaneous gear from the group. Sealing it away in a short amount of time, or as short as sealing normally got. She would take the kunai and shuriken as Kuni had said and leave the tanto sticking out of the ground. Keeping the hand-axe, another weapon she was trained to use, but not the most trained in. Finishing she would stand back up and grin to her teammates.
    "I'm ready as I can be! I look forward to working with you both." Suikazura would say with a bright-eyed smile.

Roku couldn't hide the way his body froze when tendrils poked out of the girl's body. What the actual hell??!! So The Mikatakujira were some medic clan with dead people full of tendrils? Great. He had been paired with the person most likely to go on a killing spree and what seemed like an intelligent, but socially inept fuinjutsu weapon girl... He had to work with it. It wasn't his usual team... But... It'd do. He would just have to adapt. [break][break]
"uhm, alright. I will take up the back" [break][break]
He would scrape together the rest of his equipment and take some of the bombs from the tendril girl, before he packed everything away, sealing anything unnecessary in one of the scroll and packing them. He slung the backpack over his shoulder and worked his other arm through the other hoop as he got up. Eye looking between the two other girls, much more aware of the two now that he had a bit of a better understanding of them. He then looked around the room for a moment before declaring, [break][break]

And now? Now all he had to do was wait for the next trial to begin. Hopefully the three would be able to make it through without dying... Perhaps part of that responsibility would lie with him, perhaps it wouldn't. Time would tell...

Fallen Blades' Eighth Semiannual Chuunin Exams!

Round Two: Cooperation Portion

Upon the shinobi getting to better know each other, as well as any cheaters or quitters being dismissed. The group would claim themselves to be ready and thus the second round would begin. An woman's voice would come over a PA system in the room's roof. "Thank you all for accepting the teams you've been given, as this next round they'll be your best resource for completing the task at hand. Consider this round a placement exam for your final round, as you'll be graded in large not just by completing the task at hand, but in doing so faster than any other team." This would be a race of objective completion on top of a team activity, but the doors hadn't opened and the challenge hadn't been explained.

"Ahead of you is a small obstacle maze, but inside this maze is no exit and it's a separate maze from the other contestants. However you won't be alone in the maze, as you're given the task of catching Jack our friendly jackalope! This will be no easy hare to catch, as it was specifically trained to evade shinobi like you. The maze is littered with paths only the rabbit can take, as well as threats which will only be activated by you the contestants." A simple goal of retrieval, it'd of been likely an annoyance to all, as surely they'd all at least once had that annoying retrieve the animal mission for some rich villager. How a D-rank mission could be an exam would likely become clear within the maze itself and the obstacles it provided.

"There will be important new rules on top of which you had to handle in the previous exam, firstly; you're not allowed to kill Jack! He's a good rabbit and his demise would be your disqualification. Secondly; you're not allowed to kill each other, if your teammates aren't helping that's their choice to hinder themselves and not your job to punish. Thirdly, no jutsu can be used directly upon Jack, if jack is inhibited by any active chakra a seal will go off on him designating your team in last place. Finally, you're expected to not dally, you won't know when your competitors complete their test, but if you're unable to catch Jack in less time than the other teams you'll receive a failing grade in this round specifically."

Upon finishing the narrative the double doors would open on their own, as they did so a freezing breeze would enter the already cool room. Peering into the 'maze' everyone would see a completely iced path. The walls, roof and floor were all ice. There'd be somewhat like tiles designated by the path ahead, each was 10ft by 10ft, there'd be three of these walled off at either side, before the fourth had no walls providing a split in the path. Beyond this point are three more tiles of 10ft with walls on either side until the third, which has a back wall as well providing a dead end of sorts. Center of this tile stands a small rabbit dressed in tiny deer horns. The walls enclosing these three tiles each having a small whole at the floor for the rabbit to traverse.

Fatigued SA - A certain level of famine, tiredness or thirst hindering your present state. Decreasing awareness, physical stamina and concentration to a lesser extent.

Low Reserves SA - A certain level of chakra drain based upon how much chakra was spent and whether or not any would be recovered. This'll effect the chakra cost of techniques you can cast as well as how much you can use jutsu this round.

These will be assigned to you by your proctor, so make sure your first post is rather short and keep in mind. YOU'RE setting your posting order, as soon as everyone posts once this'll be the order. At this point on the 48hr rule will be in full effect.

Rules to Round Two

• No Summons can be used, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unsanctioned Equipment, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unwarranted Travel, restrictions will be made clear, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unsanctioned Animals, purchased and natural animals only, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Outside Assistance, if you befall an injury, sickness or worst you must rely upon yourself and team.
• Quitting is Allowed, but you'll be disqualified from further performing in this exam.
• No killing the rabbit, it's death by your actions will be disqualification.
• No casting jutsu DIRECTLY upon the rabbit, if caught you'll be disqualified and your team will be considered last.
• No killing each other, if you're caught killing each other in this portion you'll not only be disqualified, BUT based on your leaders opinion and the Yuki Lady's advice, you can be put on trial for war crimes and punished up to the maximum charge of murder.
• Your equipment counts as you, so those of you with dogs, if your dog kills the rabbit you'll be equally charged with killing it and thus disqualified.

    Intriguing, yet painful yet again. Not something she could afford to mess up though. Suikazura needed a decent grade on this exam. She would succeed on this exam at any and all possible routes. Donning her semi-muddy winter clothing again she prepped for the task at hand. Pondering the best course of action. She would need to work with Kuni and Rokurou, they needed to catch the rabbit and the faster that she did so the better.
    "I suppose our mission is a little less combat-oriented than we were paranoid about Kuni-chan. The task is at hand though, so lets get to it. I'll do my best to cover up different entrances where I can." Suikazura would say with a stretch from the small girl. Obviously somewhat unhappy with the circumstances of the mission Suikazura had the look of a pouting child, but her eyes were much calmer and calculating. Deciding on the course of action. Kuni would likely be a detriment at the rate the girl had previously spoken, and Roku was an unknown factor. They needed information first. Information that could only be gathered once they entered the room and began, something that was likely smarter than simply planning out here without true information.

A sly grin snuck upon Zangyaku kōi's lips as all seemed in agreement of the plan, whether it was in actual agreement of they all wanted to be done. Zangyaku kōi walked towards the tanto Suika laid out for it and took the blade, eyes narrowed on it as she raised the steel to eye level. Raising her other arm, the creature jabbed the blade in, Zangyaku kōi used it own body as a weapon holster. The rules and new mission was irritatingly simple. "Did they seriously name it Jack? CEs be needing a new PR." Zangyaku growled in annoyance to the fact they had a maze just to catch this pathetic animal. It sounded like a simple feat however the next rules proved otherwise.

Zangyaku kōi made an audible growl, these new rules made the girl practically useless, made Jiongu useless, only self-preservation really existed, and even then, most were safe. The girl allowed the tendrils to finish shifting and around the blade. "Well, these rules fucked me over so let's go see the damage." Kōi sneered in frustration, filter all but gone as Jiongu was more or less set free within Kōi. The beast led the group forward and saw the target, Jack.

"Guys, new plan, now!"

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

[attr="class","tabrisbody"]Few were ever truly prepared for something like the exams. But Roku? Roku who had more or less been at fault for his father and sensei dying? Well, he was here and he was determined to do well, despite the horrible run he had with the biomes... And if he didn't do well? He'd likely shut himself in his room for a couple of weeks to figure out if this was truly the path for him and his skills. So when his heart started to pick up the pace at the ending of the woman's announcement, his hands knitted to fists and his dark, brown gaze seemed to darken with determination. Whatever was behind the doors and determined to make it hard to catch this little rabbit was going to regret it and wish it had been another team. 

When the Mikatakujira lamented their lack of use now, he held his tongue and the stingy comment he had dancing in his mind. He wasn't good company by his own standards, all this survival and weather changes had stripped most of the teen's politeness and patience from him, leaving the sharper tongued version of the teen. Roku made sure he was dressed properly to face this icy environment his axe in hand, and mind trying to come up with how they would catch this rabbit in this unfamiliar environment. It wouldn't be his first time chasing anything, he doubted it would be for the other two either. 

"Alright, uhm, we shouldn't chase Jack. Rabbits are fast and make turns on the spot. So what about we try to drive it into a corner? Or two of us drive it towards the other? It makes it harder since we don't know the layout of this maze...But... Lets go and lets try not to kill Jack, ok?"  

The rabbit, Jack, was super cute. SO cute that if anyone actually killed him, he'd make sure they caught a stray axe or had fifty stinky odor bombs littered throughout their room once they got back from the exams...

Maybe the rabbit could understand them? Maybe it could read their body language? None would know until they tried but as the animal watched the three apprehensive genin make their way into the room it would almost reflexively twitch its nose at the new scents. These were the ones tasked with capturing him? Very well. A fight would have been more fun and as cute as it looked the rabbit had seen its fair share of skirmish. Alas, it hadn't been picked for that kind of encounter sadly, but that didn't mean he couldn't have a bit of fun! Jack was definitely going to have some fun this round.

He would wait for a few moments, curious to see if any of the trio would be hasty enough to make a move, but aside from a starry eyed look from the earthy smelling one none of them seemed all that eager to get things started. No matter, Jack would take it upon himself to begin the festivities. In a flash the rabbit would dart through the hole behind it before taking an immediate right and traveling twenty feet before cutting a left and going another sixty feet that put it just to the top right of the center room. The slick surface caused him to slide a few inches as he tried to come to a stop while also spinning him around a bit which was just. the. cutest.

Roku SA:

Slight Fatigue - A good deal of roundabout travel and fending off small/medium animals has left the genin feeling tired. Not exhausted, per say, but he is definitely feeling the effects of extended travel through varying environments and the dangers that came with them.

Suikazura SA:

Heavy Fatigue - A busy little bee during the first round you were, heavy chakra use and a good deal of fighting has left the young kunoichi sleep deprived and running low on chakra in addition to feeling weathered from the lack of handling the more extreme weather biomes.

Kuni SA:

Low Chakra Reserves - Using a good deal of chakra in the form of 'walking' techs, katon, and clone making has left the girl low on chakra. Be mindful of chakra usage going forward as to not completely exhaust yourself!

Suikazura Gure Rokurou Mikatakujira Kunikunosaku

[Suikazura]

    "Well, the bunny ain't waiting on us. I suppose we'll need as much help as we can get. I'm going to start noting the inside, we need to get this done... before I can't keep up... Kuni-chan... er, Koi-chan? Your on capture duty, your easily the least tired of us at the moment. Do not kill it please... please. Rokurou-san, your with us on herding duty." Suikazura would say tiredly. Stepping up to the entrance tunnel and performing a few meaningless and unknown twisted handsigns from what the other two shinobi would recognize. Deeply breathing in before sliding in... an almost glitch in reality occurring as one Suikazura leaped forward sliding onto the ice, and not a moment later a second one that had been stationary would do the same. (Assuming this action worked, should be close to E.)
    As the two duplicates entered the ice they would keep their hand axes, sliding along the slickened surfaces til they were within reach of the walls. Each jamming their individual axe in the ice, like a ice pick just deep enough that they would be able to dislodge it and forcibly slide down the ice halls to the next walls. Sui and Kazura were not moving full speed, but rather methodically, attempting to simply scout the map they had entered ahead of time. They had no clue where the rabbit was, but would take full liberty to scout the maze before them. Careful and wary of anything that was dangerous. The first noted being the swinging axes, and the next being the spear wall. Both would have moved closer if it were not for the revolving walls... Should they have been rotating on their own, both would take a moment to observe, taking the timing in for the rotation then propel forward to slide through and again catch themselves on the walls of ice. Careful, methodical, so far unfocused to the task. Adjustment came first. (Assuming the Splitting Technique failed due to lack of chakra for it, the girl will only traverse the left side.)
    As they would pass by the second doors, and take in their movement they would take a deepened breath. Before launching through them again, sliding to a stop on the end wall at either side, assuming they made it that far even. Catching a likely glimpse of the rabbit from both sides, or an side, if they did.

Tcch... Suika, I'm gonna stab you. Kōi thought as Suikazura ordered it on 'capture duty', turning to Roku to see if he wanted the honor before turning forward to watch the smaller girl leap forward before dividing in two, each heading their separate way. Kōi for the most part just walked the full distance to where the rabbit was. There was no exit, no turn. Just holes. "We can't corner him... her... Jack." Kōi practically growled after finishing her inspection on the wall. Carefully, she walked back, unlike her psuedo-teammates, Kōi wasn't that eager to deal in a group effort. Suika really just ran without a care, did she? The creature thought as it exited the initial hallway before turning left, stopping at the nearest door to look in. Kōi would move closer before the room came to life, swinging axes haphazardly from the ceiling.

Arcaic, nice. Kōi squinted as it remained in the entrance frame. Scanning, looking through the obstructions to see a hallway in the distance. If it was possible, Kōi eventually deciphered the pattern of the swings. Kuni, that fey dancing you do, Imma borrow it. What-whatever, don't get us killed. The persona of Kuni was drop-dead tired, almost two weeks of control, yeah, not a surprise. Kōi was on it's 'own', stepping up, the creature danced to the imaginary beat of the swings, mostly arriving at the other side unscathed. A misstep would cause Kōi to suffer a swinging axe to deeply cut its right shoulder. Using the momentum, the girl fell forward, spinning onto the ground and growling in pain. Willing the threads to pull together, the girl watched as a wave of spears shot up from the ground. Already down, Kōi rolled as hard right as possible to roll out of the wave's range. Pulling herself up, Kōi walked to the edge of the opposite wall, traveling further right to the edge and seeing another wave of spears jut from the ground down the hall.

"What the hell is this?" Kōi learned the wave pattern easier than the axes, closing its eyes to talk to itself. "Please don't be a wall, please don't be a wall." A leap of faith onto the floor behind a wave was almost too close for comfort, but the speed gave it a window to zig-zag back, dodging the wall into the center room. Landing to a slide a few feet in as the ground cracked where Kōi landed. Looking up nervously once the creature had sure footing, eyes met Jack. "Pain-in-the-ass, I mean Jack, come on, come here. Hurry, I don't know what's below, if there's a below."
