Not only did the rabbit run forward, Roku used the wall to walk and Suika had to save him. Paying no attention to their condition, the hunt was on. The serpent took a painfully long time to lunge and it made a run. It seemed he took a right so the snake went back the way it came, in the exact same method, barely making it through the hole into the clear hallway before morphing back, a safety lock by Kuni to keep from exhausting the child-monster completely. Only Kuni can deplete them, which meant Kōi had to use her standard abilities. Come on guys, I'm out. Just, I can't do this by myself... Kunikunosaku, finish this. Kōi though as eyes glossed and teeth glared, Kōi was gonna finish this. It had to. Standing up, the creature walked forward and looked at the room next to it, surprised he didn't even make it far. Kuni quickly hugged the wall between the room and the clear hall. Tendril opened and Kōi took out the tanto Suika handed her. Recalling how the wall shot Roku back, Kōi developed a plan.

Hearing Suika, Kuni took over, relinquishing Kōi from the action. "Well, you guys better hurry up!" Kuni mumbled, annoyed having to do this. She heard the beat of the axes from the room, when they swung closer then farther and back. One... Two... "JACK, DODGE!" Kuni immediately pulled out her last flash bomb and hurled the tanto at the wall behind Jack, hopefully as close as possible but till missing if he didn't react.. The heads up and the blade coming should get him to move away. Gripping the flash bomb, Kuni spiked it at the adjacent corner of the room across from Jack; quickly turning away, Kuni jumped to the wall facing the empty hallway, amazing as much chakra to her feet as possible before touching the wall, if it did the same thing as Roku's attempt, it would hurl the girl forward at intense speeds.

If her makeshift plan succeeded, Jack will hop out the hole closest, the hole to the hallway Kuni was sliding through and if the timing was correct, he'd jump into her catching arms. After all, self-preservation was a rabbits instinct and he pushed the last straw.

Jiongu | Earth Grudge Fear

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

DESCRIPTION:

This technique allows the user to become also fluid with their movements. Their skin and body structure becomes serpentine and detaches as they become almost a slithering mass of tendrils. This allows them to become flatter and more nimble. They are able to move as an otherworldly serpent-like creature. In this form, the user is able to move vertically along surfaces and swim quickly. As well, the user can separate their hearts from their body to cover more ground. While this technique enhances the user's stealth it does not prevent them from being detected from a keen eye or other types of tracking.

An advanced genin level technique, it serves as a means to both enhance chakra control when mastered as well as a means to change one's advantages on the battlefield. By applying chakra to the soles of the feet, the shinobi gains the ability to walk and stand on vertical surfaces or even upside down.

[attr="class","dorado2"]Roku's attempt to walk on the wall would fail horribly so and he would find himself yanked by the iwa nin. He tumbled back, sliding on the ice. Dark eyes seeming a tad stormy, but if it was directed at the iwa nin or the wall wasn't clear. He didn't bother with dusting himself from ice, just moved to get out of the room and attempt to get to where Kuni was.  Kuni would attempt her own thing and Roku would likely arrive when/if Jack made his escape from the girl. He would attempt to catch him, throwing himself at the rabbit and if it failed, he would get to his feet and move to follow the rabbit, trying to remember and map some of the rooms out in his head. When an opportunity presented itself he would throw himelf at the rabbit before starting the whole thing over again. It was... an attempt, perhaps a hint at a larger scheme though the group best make some more concrete decisions else they risk failing behind the other teams, yet at the same time they couldn't simply rush in and waste what little energy they had left. Quite the conundrum. The rotating doors seemed to be giving a couple of them the most fits as well as the rabbit holes that Jack dashed in and out of with ease, though that was an ever dwindling issue interestingly enough. But it would mean little if coordination continued to be a thorn in their sides...

There were two human sized entrances to the hallway with axes and only the thread girl would attempt to block one though she dared not actually enter for fear of getting sliced to pieces. In his previous escape Jack had heard the odd slithering following behind him and his attention was on that of the one person he could actually see, though he could certainly hear one of the splits yelling out instructions; but with the rotating doors slowing their progress he wouldn't need to worry about them just right now.

He was surprised, to say the least, to see a weapon being aimed relatively close at him. Had they really forgot the rules that quickly? Rabbits were self preservationists but this was no ordinary hare, Jack had been through much worse than a short sword being tossed his way. Alas, not wanting to blow his cover just yet the rabbit would quickly dash under the swinging axes to what he assumed would be safety but would instead be met with a blinding light. Theatricality and deception, not bad. A less than pleased squeak would come from the rabbit as he scrambled to move away from the light, moving up out of the room bolting ten feet to the right before making a sharp left and bounding up the hall of idle spikes. Kuni's strategy was brave but where she faltered was believing that she would be able to control the slide. No no, with the amount of chakra she poured into that wall there would be an equally big slip, her very feet sliding out beneath her and becoming a situation where she needed to either brace herself, catch herself, or prepare for a nasty spill.

The quiet boy would find himself just a bit behind after having to take a round about method since the rotating wall was not going in the direction they needed to truly cut off Jack. He and one of the splits would, however, be able to clearly see the rabbit at the end of the hall if they chose to follow, and for possibly the first time ever Jack hadn't slipped into another hole. No, he was using his front paws to rub at his eyes to try and get the last of the spots to disappear. Was this... an opportunity?

Suikazura Mikatakujira Kunikunosaku Gure Rokurou

Sui had done very little, but it didn't take a genius to read the mood. They had been close while she was away, her duplicate would be working towards a much more... delicate, yet chance driven procedure. Taking little further hesitation, she would not reach them, but what she could do was a distraction ploy all the same. Suikazura had not left any part of the chicken behind when she had butchered it, instead having used most of it to get through the maze, what she had kept though, un-thrown and un-used was the head, the now gross and likely decaying head.

It reeked as she had it appear. but that mattered not, utilizing some of the little chakra she had she would toss the chicken head straight up in a lob, its projectile force heading downwards quickly around the back side of the far, left corner of the test room. A smell of molding death would exude from the back wall. Certainly to deter the rabbit, but it was all she could do before beginning to reconvene with her team.

Kazura saw it immediately. A straight shot, and vulnerable in appearance. A small inkling of a chance, but she would seize anything if it meant victory for her team at this point, much like Kuni's risk before, she would bet everything for herself to use what her teammate had created; the window of opportunity. Setting her ax into her right hand she would take but an instant, her arm flashing in a mere moment as she fully embedded the axe in a hooking arc before releasing herself, the full momentum of the attack on the wall sending her much further, and much much faster that her earlier methodical slides. Leaned in a way she would assuredly slide forward as she called forth a cooking pot. Only one a second or two, that would be all it took for the quickened girl to slide her way to the rabbit, pot in hand would without any hesitation to minor injury of the rabbit block and cover the blinded fuzzy creature, covering its ability to move by the cooking pot, trapping it beneath as they would continue to slide.

Kazura, atop the now sliding pot, belly down continuing to slide until she made direct contact with the far wall. Slamming into it with a resounding crack of force as the flying child would meet the end of hyper-momentum slide she had performed. Going unconscious over the pot. Whether this succeeded or not the unconscious form of the girl would lay there atop the pot, having spent all she had to reach the rabbit. Nothing left to resemble a teammate, other than an injured and exhausted body.

NAME: Kaze no Youni [Like the Wind]

DESCRIPTION:

This technique, like many before, is based around using chakra to enhance the weapon's properties. Like now, a bit of chakra is put into every shuriken before a throw. Half-way to the target, chakra is released in a violent burst, launching the projectiles forward with twice as much speed as before. It can surprise opponents preparing to defend against them, and throw them off-guard.

The wall did not cooperate, the cause wasn't clear why but where Kuni would hope to slide, she was just falling. Not even reacting, the girl crashed into the ground with enough force to cause a concussion in everyone else. Pulling itself up, Kuni growled in irritation as the threads move to repair damage. Only two logical exits, out that hole, down the spike hall. Kuni pushed herself up and timed her movements to let her dash and slide down the hall, eventually, she crashed into the wall just in time to see Suika risk it all, and potentially... Pushing herself steady, she rushed towards Roku, idly throwing an order. "Remember what I gave you, throw smoke as over, now!" It might truly exhaust the creature but if it could end this and save Suika's life, Kuni reluctantly weaved the seals as she lit up in flames. Hopefully, the cover of smoke hid the flash of fire that consumed the girl.

If the ice didn't impede her, her variant of body flicker would allow Kuni to safely traverse beyond Suika at immense speeds. The jutsu ended upon arrival, forcing Kuni to use a foot to kick the ice wall in an attempt to keep her from sliding out of control. It was a wild idea but the pace everything was going on, it needed to end now. In her kick back, Kuni would hopefully grab Jack by his neck and roll into Suika, pushing all 3 out of the spikes. If thrown, the smoke might dissipate, revealing two down teammates to Roku but hopefully a rabbit in their custody.

DESCRIPTION:
A technique used similar to the Body Flicker Technique. When using this technique, the body appears like it's being engulfed by flames, disappearing from view slowly. How the flames engulf the user stylistically is up to them.

[attr="class","dorado2"]Roku would make his roundabout trip, pushing his body to move faster, thanking those who pushed him to actually care about his physical training instead of just focusing on scrolls and reading, as he did. It was finally over. That was what went through Kazura's mind as she had covered the rabbit. Near slamming into the ice wall behind the rabbit. She would still not feel good even as kuni managed to catch her flying body and hit the wall before her. Kuni grasping the rabbit with her sutures easily to keep it in a hold. Kazura would pass out without any chakra left and her body far over due for sleep. Her weight going limp in Kuni's arms as they moved to avoid the spikes. The sensation of breathing easily present though within the girl. She would not be awake for quite some time, and that was fine now.

Sui on the other hand would grin, sliding to roku she would seem to hopping as she gave him a hug over it being over, then slide to kuni with a gleeful expression that the girl had never shown, she was reveling to be done with this exam. For good reason. Taking her duplicate in her hands she would drag her way back towards the entrance in the front. Fuly expecting to leave from here now. She was finished with this test, they had caught the rabbit, that was a pass all of its own to the girl. She would not complain, it was over. It was finally over.

She had done it. Pulling both Suika out of harm's way, cradling the latter tight like a football. All the gang rushed the rabbit with everything left. Kuni let her head rest as her strength pulled the rabbit even closer to her, arching herself up. Looking at the now two Suikas and Roku as one was smiling gleefully at her. "We did it." Kuni stated to Suika as she stood up, cradling Jack so he wouldn't escape. Kunikunosaku... Zangyaku kōi, it didn't matter who caught it, th internal duo proved as much of a team as Kuni did with everyone. She wanted to cheer but such happiness was cautious at best. It was imply done.

There was quiet a drain and there was quite an itching feeling to reap what she was owed, but Jack wasn't capable of that, or so Kuni hoped. Getting up slowly, Kuni motioned her head to follow the two Suikas before starting to follow. "For real this time, Jack is caught!" The girl shouted as the group neared the entrance. Kunikunosaku looked at Jack with big eyes. "You ready to go back? Tell 'em we did it." The Genin said to the rabbit, looking ahead, hoping it would make some squeak or even peak to let them go. The world is crazy, after all, Kuni wasn't natural at all.

Looking at Suika... the Suikas before at Roku. "Thanks for throwing that, it really helped!" Kuni said as she cradled the rabbit, her grip really trying nt to release it.

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.
