Battle Mod Review:

Contesting Suikazura's chakra drain.

As it's only been one posting round since I've reviewed this thread for similar only two very low costing jutsu have happened. I personally don't have a specific point in mind when chakra ends, so I based my earlier verdict on the comparison of chakra drain. At which point Asuka has used more mediums, lows and very low's than Suikazura. 

On top of simply using less jutsu, Suikazura has a chakra control SA, it doesn't mean their costs are less, but a small amount of chakra is wasted when you don't have CC. Due to this every jutsu counts a little bit more towards Asuka than Suikazura.

Furthermore the endurance SA, while not effecting the chakra limits of the user, it would effect their ability to proceed with less hindrance and continue while drained.

All this said I wouldn't say Suikazura is full of energy and ready to go fight another fight, but I'm not seeing in the post a vibrant do it all attitude. So I can't say theirs anything merited to change.

Final Verdict: Suikazura has enough chakra to still perform at least the same number of chakra drains you've occurred. Roughly two more mediums and ten more very lows, before I'd infringe any sort of spec deprivation.

[Asuka Waruichi]

Asuka felt her strike connect but realized when she saw that she wasn’t flinching that this was some sort of trick. "Again!?” she’d think. From there’d she’d finish the follow through on her strike but would lay off the offense quickly sidestepping to avoid Sui's counterattack, and would move herself away from the duo and creating space. Asuka would think for a moment and asses the situation. "Curses…” she’d then be mindful of something.

"Time’s almost up...if I can just hold out for a second longer. I can take this too a draw.” She’d look out at the girls and would a craft a seal and move her body away across the battlefield and would then hide amongst the stones in order to keep herself hidden. Activating her clans special technique to camouflage herself behind the stones hoping that her foe wouldn’t be able to find her.

Asuka was upset with herself she allowed that anger of hers to get the better of her and prevent from performing to the best of her ability. "Curses, nice going Asuka you let your anger get the better of you, you need to learn to control the bull. For now I just need to hold out while I can.”
Asuka was incredibly tired and that last body flicker put a lot of stress on her legs.

NAME: Kuikkurōtēshon [Quick Rotation]

DESCRIPTION:
Utilizing chakra in the feet, ankles and legs specifically. It is a small amount of energy, but used precisely on reflexes and timing. This technique is gauged this way. When timed, the user can twist themselves abruptly out of the way of an attack. Like a speedy side-step, but a rotation of one's body to the side. A spin-move. This is only attacks in an immediate vicinity(three meters) anything else is too big an attack. Usually Taijutsu, but sometimes this technique is effective against close-range ninjutsu.

DESCRIPTION:
By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

DESCRIPTION:
For use with their cloaks, the Waruichi member will cover themselves completely, hiding amongst the land. Pushing a bit of chakra into the threads, the silk will take on the colors and textures of the area around it. With this camouflage the Waruichi will virtually disappear into the surroundings, their disguise being imperceptible to all but those with dōjutsu that can see chakra or Kirigakure tracking specialists.

[Suikazura]

Sui

    She had left. Invisible to the girl's sight, invisible to both girls. Annoying. Annoying. Absolutely, annoying. But this could be counted as a victory all its own. Asuka had been forced to run from her, not having the means to continue the fight in a frontal confrontation, the grounds in which the girl had been considered most effective, and the pain in her body was proof of that to herself. But this was not Asuka's fight to when, Suikazura had completed her goal; dismantlement.

    Breaking someone down further and further until one could no longer move properly. Sui had approached that line a great many time, not to just train, but to understand the mind of those that would become so deeply crushed in a confrontation. She had broken down that girl's options, and whittled more pushing through the injuries to continue with all considered. It was not a direct victory, but Sui would stand proud from her position. The proctor would be readying to call the fight soon, and despite her inability to have striked down her opponent, she was not the one hiding from her opponent for fear of the result of a direct confrontation. Twirling her blade she would stand Vigil of any last ditch attacks, but the pridefully indignant expression over the fact that Asuka would attempt her to deprive her and her duplicate of a proper result was not simply dissatisfying, Sui would not stand for a tie.

If Asuka wished to cower in the exhibition and refuse to fight until the end she would call for the win, cowardice, nor pride were an excuse to run. Sui would be blunt on that point, as she had said to Asuka; she was not the one on the ground. Not a finger raised this time truly, but Sui could tell, a shunshin at that level of exhaustion was suicide to attempt to fight from. Asuka had signed a death warrant if she appeared. Sui saw that as clear as day and night. The Jounin to her thought, would do best to acknowledge that as well.

Kazura

Kazura was more visibly angry than Sui in her reaction to Asuka disappearing from view. Not taking it as rationally, but when she would move to search Sui would motion for her to stop. They were clearly the winners here, at least to Sui. They just had to wait, if Asuka wanted to force the timer, one of them would be in a much better state for combat than the other. So Kazura would unwillingly stand vigil, still upset over the fight as a whole. Being ignored the entire fight almost. A wound caused by her own stupidity, and nothing else. The rules stated a lack of ability for draws, and within her impatience, was also a knowledge of the surroundings. They had no way to decide their outcome when their opponent hid so easily.

     Even under the circumstance of the attacks she had taken, Suikazura had succeeded within the need to whittle and break her opponent. Having been the main one to keep Asuka moving and never truly able to land a clean attack after the beginning of the fight with Sui's entrapment. After that moment it had been a game of exhaust and keep away, slowly breaking the girl's ability to move, and even managing to get a minor hit in as it was. Suikazura showed an odd style of fighting, one that was not so direct to pummel, or kill. But one that utilized tricks to keep the foe from their goals. The two could only hope and faithfully believe that there would be merit to the positions of their standing.

Assuming Asuka did not show the proctor would call the exam at the sight of the two duplicates holding vigil to approach while Asuka would be, presumably, noticeable to the proctor. If she showed no signs of movement it would end at that, and left to be judged.

{ notes } Unless Asuka takes any offensively based actions the exam should end at the stalemate being made. As the fight would simply drag until Asuka ran out of chakra for her Bagworm Technique, or was somehow accidentally found by one of the duplicates.

[Asuka Waruichi]

Asuka dropped her camouflage as a buzzer would sound. The fight was over, and Asuka truth be told was exhausted. She survived the time that the fight had taken but was horrendously exhausted from all the work she had put in. By this point all that could be done was await the decision from the proctor. She dropped her technique and leaned against the rock surprised the girl didn’t follow the trail of blood left behind by the cut on her back. She was spent and personally felt she performed rather poorly.

However she looked up at her family who rather than shame looked upon her with smiles save for her grandmother. Asuka however looked past it and smiled to her family who all seemed to clap as the buzzer sounded. She awaited the verdict of the proctor. Sighing feeling as thought her performance was very much poorly pieced together.

Asuka felt as thought she could’ve done a lot better but had let her anger get the best of her and that she could’ve done a better job of keeping herself in control and making more tactical decisions had she fought this way for longer perhaps things might swung a bit in her favor but who knows perhaps she was being too hard on himself about her performance and may have actually done better than she thought.

[Shisen, Wasurete]

WASURETE

After Wasurete's fight, he was irritated. These exams were already growing quite annoying to the young Genin. That interaction with what, now, he knew to be a jinchuriki, was absolutely infuriating. He should have killed that pathetic monkey. That damn taijutsu specialist had been much more of a bother than he had any right being. Wasurete had promised himself that he'd get revenge for that poor showing the next opportunity he got. Past that however, he was going to continue observing his opponents, including one that information had been slightly limited on, Suikazura. What a showcase of her abilities it had been.      She was facing a taijutsu specialist of her own, and Wasurete couldn't help but observe how differently the two of them had taken care of their taijutsu based foes. It gave him insight into how both of these girls attacked, and Wasurete saw that Suika had a fascinating ability of her own. This couldn't have been a regular clone, even the shadow clones that Wasurete had heard of didn't seem to interact with the world the way that Suika was here. They didn't seem to share a brain, they were distinct figures. It seemed interesting enough for the most part after all.      Suika's opponent was certainly interesting in her own right. Anyone around the young shinobi would be able to feel his bloodlust filling the air as he looked out at the intense battle infront of him. Of course, they all would have felt that even more in the preceding fight. Wasu rested his hand on his own hands, and he began to laugh to himself as he heard the buzzer sound. "Suika!" he yelled out in the hopes the young shinobi would hear, "I expected better from you. Two on one and you still couldn't beat that waste of space. Maybe I'll pick up where you left off, slaughter her for you."

HOLD ME CLOSE. DON'T LET GO.

Taki "Bakudan" Okada

A loser like you ain't got no guts!

As the fights continued Taki and Midori watched as some other shinobi took the field. In this next battle it was two female competitors, one girl who wore and white and black leotard, and another girl who wore a Iwagakure shinobi uniform. Taki looked out to them. "Hey Miss Midori, that chick in the red she’s one of us right?" Taki would look down at the pamphlet she was given when she entered. "Sui-kazura...man that name does not roll off the tongue. Imma just cawl her Suikazooie.” She watched as the two of them prepared to go at it. "That chick has one sweet leotard.” she’d say commenting on the Asuka's attire.

She'd then turn the pamphlet over to the Kirigakure section, and would see Suikazura's opponent listed at the front. "Asooka, Waruichey, Okay...cool." As the fight began Suikazure immediately lept into the air and threw up a smoke bomb. Afterwards the other girl a short time leaped into the air to intercept her with a flying kick. In that quick instance Suikazura split herself into two. But Taki thought that something was off. "Hey Midori, that girl in the Iwa uniform she’s two people now but she didn’t make any hand seals, how she doin that?” From what Taki could see it looked like she was going in for some kinda strike. "Yo she’s gonna cut that girls leg off!” Taki'd think a look of alarm on her face. However just in the knick of time the girl in the leotard turned into a set of bandages and wrapped her opponent up. "Say what...!?" The girl would look back at her teacher. "Miss Midori what kinda ninjitsu are these girls usin?” she’d say looking to her teacher putting her hands on the railing and watching the fight intently.

As the fight continued Suikazura would be wrapped up in the ground and the chick in the leotard would deliver two hard strikes to her opponent. As the duo landed on the ground Kazura looked to go for a strike but Asuka practically vanished away. "Whoa...how fast is that chick? She must be some kinda Taijitsu expert.” After a moment the girl would be on a wall directly beneath where Taki and Midori were situated. Taki leaned over the railing and watched her intently. But in a matter of moments the girl pretty much disappeared.

"What the!? Miss Midori she disappeared!?” she looked back at Midori her jaw practically on the ground awe struck by that. "It was like the cloak thingie...but like instant.” She watched Suikazura as her clone moved across the battlefield. Taki heard the sounds of cloth tearing as the other version of her came out from the bandages she was wrapped in and watched as she coughed up blood. "Man that chick must’ve really hit her hard if she’s coughing up blood.” She’d then reassess the situation again however. "But even still, that chick can really take a punch.” she’d look down at her and then smirk. "Yeah mess em up, Suikazooie.” she’d say cheering on her countrymen she didn’t really have that much pride in her village since she was more loyal to her family but she’d rather she her own people win rather than not. However as the girl cheered she hadn’t noticed the action going on nearby and was rocked when a massive explosion rang out, knocking her back into her chair.

Smoke filled the area where the two were located and Taki coughed a tad before looking up and seeing Asuka the leotard girl soaring through the air. "Whoa...how’d she get out a dat!” The leotard wearing girl would land on the ground and she seemed have this possessed look on her face her eyes looked rather relentless and she did not look like she was in a good mood. As she neared the ground Suikazura shot some stick stuff out of her mouth which made Taki wretch a little. But the leotard girl landed on it like it wasn’t nothing and charged her by this point Taki was thoroughly entertained by the match and didn’t want to end.

"Aww, this is just like one of wrasslin events we do at home this is awesome!” As the girl gained on her foe it looked as if the strike was going to land but Suikazura took a defensive stance instead. "Yo why is just standin there?” the young girl would then cup her hands to her mouth "Yo Suikazuioooie she’s comin right for ya! Get outta da way!” she’d say gesturing for her to move to the side even though it was clear that she wasn’t paying attention, however as Asuka’s strike landed Sui was moving out of the way but Asuka kept punching. "S-say wha...that Asooka chick ain’t hittin nothin? That some kinda genjitsu.” However after the short exchange Suikazura threw down another explosive. "Man how many of those things is she packing...and how come that clone hadn’t poofed yet?” she’d think keeping her eyes on the fight. Asuka would once again go on the offensive. "How fast is this girl!?” As the battle raged the fight would turn into a two on one situation.

"This is intense…” Asuka would deftly try and move out of the way but would be cut off by one of the clones and would then proceed to chuck the girl across the ground with one hand. "That goil is a monsta…” she’d think, her eyes would then scan the text on her arm. "Iron Fist…” she’d think. "C’mon Suikazoooie you can’t let this Iron Fist Fucka take ya down!” As the girl dropped to the ground Asuka went on the offensive once again charging her but she seemed like she was tapped out one of the girls clones taking another defensive stance.

"She’s got her now!” she'd think making a fist as she smiled out at the battlefield. Asuka would try and go for a quick blow but would have her attempt stuffed by the girl and afterwards used the last of her strength to hide. Suddenly a buzzer would sound. "Man that was crazy! I can’t wait till I get to do this! With your help I’m gonna send em all packin!” the girl would say hyped up. "Once I get here I'm gonna sweep all the competition and then, onto savin Uncle!” she’d say. The youth was pumped after having watched the fight. Taking her seat. "As soon as I graduate! We're goin all the way I can promise ya dat! If that's the standard I gotta live up too you better believe I'm gonna smash it!"Taki was highly motivated, she not only wanted to succeed but she wanted to be the absolute best.

She'd need to give her training her all if she wanted to save her uncle and with her new standard set in place she was more enthusiastic than ever. She couldn't wait to get home and get back to work. Wanting to be just as strong if not better than the example set before her.
