Unprepared for the Waruichi's signature silk was a understatement for the girl in the long scheme of things.
Sui had been briefed on it through her informant partner in Takigakure, but not of its full capabilities, as she had gone to attack the girl she had unwound into a multitude of cloth that began to constrict her body. Her technique in motion still with the chakra-infused blade would slice into a portion of it before it would emcompass her body with a good portion in tact,
Kazura would not be wound in the silk though, its leap towards the girl's duplicate would be noted.
Kazura whose blade swung in a rapid motion would swing the blade to carve into the silk as the girl's began to land, enough to slice though a small crevice for
Sui to begin her outward crawl.
On the ground,
Sui would be met with a hard impact but not grunt a sound as she would begin to push and cleave the opened slash on the silk further outwards. Having to take her time there with it.
Kazura would not be so idle in her time spent still. She was quick to search out Asuka, who was waiting and watching visible to the eye.
Kazura still holding the previously charged Kunai-paperbombs in her left hand, would force her to stay away for now, they needed to time to regroup outside the silk. Throwing the kunai towards the girl roughly, they would travel fast, and then in a burst of speed embed into the wall when they had previously not been so close. A miss? They did not hold far from the girl, but they would not hit. Instead,
Kazura would sink her blade into the ground and ignite the fuses.
If Asuka decided to approach after the kunai were thrown, she would instead lower, sinking into a defensive sword stance, she had not been hit earlier, but she had seemed entirely against the idea of dodging, as if she planned to meet strength on endurance. This would place the trigger for one of the girl's trump cards to this fight, another trick, this one of the eye, though she doubted Asuka would be able to tell immediately it was a gross technique to deal with.

TRIGGER: The sight of a user falling into a defensive stance.
DESCRIPTION:
Itsuwari no Shinrai [False Confidence] is a tricky genjutsu to counter. Upon an enemy rushing the user, the user pulls themselves into a false defensive stance, looking ready to defend from the onslaught of the opponent. In reality the user is casting a genjutsu upon a rushing enemy, so the results look like whatever attack they have landed has hit without any damage or knockback. Once caught within the genjutsu the user can make the opponent think no matter how much damage they are giving the opponent that the user is impervious to damage or harm. In reality the user is actually moving out of the way of the wilder techniques of the enemy as they begin to lose their cool and waste their own chakra.
While this technique can be used by mostly anyone, it is stronger with someone who is known to have techniques that are capable of delaying pain or healing quickly. If an opponent doesn't know the user it is significantly harder to trick them into believing the genjutsu further than trickery and will only last for 2 rotations, maximum. If the opponent knows the user doesn't have any significant healing technique or pain delay, the opponent will be able to guess they are trapped within a genjutsu.
If the genjutsu is used upon someone who knows their opponent has techniques capable of healing quickly or delaying pain or if it is revealed in a battle so the opponent is aware of the knowledge, the subconscious acceptance that the user can normally heal or avoid damage will trap the opponent into the genjutsu for longer, for a maximum of 4 rotations.
When an opponent uses an area effect jutsu on the user, in reality the user will have to move out of the way whereas within the realms of the genjutsu the user is not moving and seems impervious to damage and pain. The jutsu resyncs to the user's location once they have moved after taking the hit, making it seem as if the user has moved incredibly quickly through the damage.
Itsuwari no Shinrai is a good way to either move out the way entirely from the opponent or go for the weak spots while they are trapped in the genjutsu, all the while the opponent is wasting chakra trying to damage the illusion.
