Despite the many years it took for him to get here Issei was grateful. With everything that went wrong from the moment he left his first team he could have never imagined himself being in this position. Especially when looking back at how badly his team faired in the first exam. He'd gone through so much since those days, and finally it seemed like he had some sort of stability to build around outside of his parents.

He felt a great sense of pride, and more than anything he wanted to show his family and his new friends how great of a Shinobi he'd grown to be. He couldn't afford to fail, and when he awoke in the morning that was the only thing going through his mind. Well maybe not the only one. Thoughts of Kazui also raced through his mind. He'd gotten wind of how well she did in the other rounds and he couldn't help but feel like he was falling behind.

He knew it wasn't a competition between the two of them, or anyone else for that matter, but that didn't stop him from wanting to be some sort of figure she could look up to. She already had a leader in old man Kazuto; much like Yuuta was to himself, but that didn't mean he couldn't leave an impression on him because of his rank. "Sigh... This is what we've been working for Issei." The Uchiha muttered himself before heading to his destination.

The weather was as cold as it'd been the entire month, and the air being dry didn't make it any better, but at least by this time they'd be use to it. When they got to the arena he'd be led by a proctor through a hallway inaccessible to those who weren't authorized into a room with the others while they waited for their names to be called. Everyone was focused, and based on his own nerves he couldn't tell who was confident or not.

Like everyone else he stayed to himself, keeping himself focus and aligned with whatever strategies he created before coming here. Whomever he was going to face was going to have to give him everything they had. Killing wasn't a thought, but if he needed to do so then he would if it meant saving his own ass. On him he made sure to bring pretty much everything all but the other 100 meter of wire he had. Anything more than that would be overkill. Mostly for himself.

When the first names called were Kazui and Toru he knew things were about to be interest straight from the beginning. Internally he wished the person he considered to be a rival good luck. Toru might not have said much to him, but he had the same strong will she had. Issei kept his focus on each of the fights as they were all given a position that allowed for them to see what their potential oppositions could do.

The only person that caught his eye prior to his own fight was Miho, since she was also a leaf ninja and was engaged to arguably the villages most powerful Shinobi in Kazuto. When his name was finally called Issei stood with confidence and walked with the protor along side his opponent to the arena. He didn't know anything about this Taki Shinobi, but despite her looks he knew to take anyone and everyone seriously.

"Good luck." Was all he'd state while waiting for his opponent to get ready.

While its abilities are not on par with the second and third tomoe eyes its visual prowess is still strong enough to just barely slow the movements of others, and when used in conjunction with his reflex ability it makes it harder for others to get to him, hit him, or even just get closer to him in general without Issei spotting them. The Sharingans most popular skill stems from its ability to see Chakra in physical form. With it Issei can not only distinguish what is being used based on its color, but its visual prowess allows him to see through Genjutsu making it easier for him to Kai out of it. SN: Kai is still limited to what the chart says.
  
• SUPERIOR CHAKRA | RESERVES - with this he is able to perform use a larger repertoire of jutsu without the consequences of running out of chakra like most are accustomed to, and thus isn't limited to the amount of jutsu he can use at once. Also this ability grants him the power to user higher ranking jutsu with little to no consequences given the fact that he has a greater amount of chakra than most.

It was months, only a year and she was already here. Kunikunosaku, the girl that had died once before was born anew by the worst thing to exist, Jiongu. The girl gathered her equipment, all of it, if it was enough. Compared to her peers, Kunikunosaku was a minimalist when it came to tools, not only would they slow her down, they'd interfere using Jiongu's abilities. Once she had gathered her things, she headed to the stated meeting area. It was pretty boring walk, however, there was a battle, a war going on in the girl's head. Torn in two, even after an agreement and deal, Kuni fought both Kōi and Jiongu to the best of her ability. It was nothing short of a tragedy how her mental self tore itself apart enough for her to even question who she was, but two things would always be clear...

She is a Mikatakujira, one of the most renown clan with an ability nothing short of a legend; and she was a Takigakure shinobi.

As the girl made her entrance to the seating area, she took hr seat as the coring board and fights were listed. Damn it, Wasurete is before me. This is inconvenient. Kuni thought as she took her seat. Hearing the mass of names called and watching the following fights were a bit uninteresting. Enough so, Kuni didn't even watch as suggested. She remained in her head space, confirming her resolve. No doubt both Etsuko and Lord Ryū came to watch, there was no doubt that Wasurete was watching, and Kuni made promises to everyone back home she would return as a Chūnin; there was no way in hell, the girl was going back to Taki after so much talk about becoming a Chūnin, only to fail and come home a Genin. Kuni's name was called, and a oddly steady gaze met the proctor. The girl arose from her seat and scanned to make sure she had all of her equipment.

She rid her old gi in favor of the outfit her clan gifted her in the bag he never checked until after round two. An outfit fit for a Chūnin, Kuni wore it proud as she thought about the time. A month of rest and training before this, how much did the other students grow in that time. Am I even ready? Fuck it, I was made to be ready. Kunikunosaku double checked her gear before reaching the door, eyes narrowing as her gaze returned forward and she nodded. Exiting the bunker, Kuni scanned her arena, barren save for a few rocks and guests sky high watching. They weren't gonna watch a fight, they are in for a massacre. KŌI! The girl though before instead of one, both minds occupied the head space. Focus on the goal, you know the drill. Heh, Jiongu doesn't even sound interested, Kōi. Well then, guess we go to town. The parasite would tell the two personalities.

See, was that deal worth it. Shut up, fight, and we'll see. Kuni saw a larger boy walked forward to the center of the arena, the girl mirrored in suit, stopping at the appropriate distance. The girl held the seal of confrontation, showing the understanding of the rules and acknowledgement of her opponent, before returning to relax a hand on her hip as he free hand dangled, repeatedly opening and closing. Time of action was now.

"May the best shinobi win." Kuni stated in a dark, stoic tone. Winking at the by to make it seem more light-hearted, try to mentally drop his guard before the fight even began, but it wouldn't matter, it was gonna start anyway.

Jiongu | Earth Grudge Fear

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

Now that all of the greetings were over the fight could finally begin. He didn't know what was going on with the Taki girl, but if she were trying to give him a friendly greeting it wouldn't entirely work so well. Issei simply was not good at reading peoples emotions on a regular scale such as this one. Nevertheless, it didn't matter and wouldn't matter going forward.

Issei already had a plan set in motion, and the one thing he wanted to do no matter what was to put pressure on his opponent to not only out maneuver him, but to outsmart him as well. At no point was he going to give this Shinobi to breath or have a chance to think about any of their own moves. The moment their fight was allowed to begin Isseis Sharingan activated and he'd let out a loud cough.

The plan was perfect because in no way would the Taki Shinobi get the chance to react or avoid what was going on. At only 10 feet away ( Agreed upon by the both of us ) there would be no avoiding it. The Genjutsu set upon his opposition immediately would cause not only a nauseous reaction, but an extremely powerful urged to do number 2. This would prevent him from trying to tense up to move as doing so mentally would create the false feeling of vomiting or pooping.

Afterward that plan was set into motion Isseis next move would be to jump back as far as possible while reaching in both of his side patches for 6 Shuriken before using the wires in his back pouch to attach to them. Once he landed to the ground he'd throw them toward his opponent, and in the process of doing so using the Shurkien manipulation technique to circle it around the body of the girl once they flew by.

The speed of each rotation the Shuriken made around the girls body would increase after each lap until the wires tighten fully around the girl from top to bottom. If the girl somehow managed to break free of the Genjutsu during this process he'd clap to activate another Genjutsu which would have the girl immobilized to the ground. The idea behind both Genjutsu was to create a thought that would shift her attention away from his true intentions.

The cough at such a close range could easily create the perception of the uses of invisible gases, or poison while the clap would signify the ability to use Doton. Unless they were a Genjutsu user he'd have a good amount of time before breaking it. Should each of his plans work out Issei would form 6 handseals to use the comet version of the fireball jutsu at the girl.

Slowly immobilizing the user, starting with their legs and within two minutes, their entire body. It is easily mistaken for Doton. It can catch one person per casting.

  DESCRIPTION: Acquisition of this technique indicates a young Uchiha's transition to adulthood, and has thus become an identifying symbol among themselves. After performing the seals, chakra is kneaded inside the body and converted into fire which is expelled from the mouth either as a expeditious massive orb of roaring flame comparable to a comet or as a continuous flame-thrower. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater in the ground's surface. In its comet form, this technique is capable of going as far as 40 meters. As a flamethrower, its range is shorter at 20 meters, but can engulf several oncoming projectiles and opponents. For those who posses a Katon Ability, this technique possesses the speed, power, and efficiency of a B-ranked jutsu.

POST SUMMARY: Issei coughs placing Kuni is Genjutsu. He jumps backward gets out 6 Shuriken and attach them to wires in back pouch. Upon landing he throws them at Kuni and manipulates the trajectory around her tying her up. If she breaks from Genjutsu he'll use another. regardless, afterward he uses the Fire ball jutsu in comet form to engulf her.

Straight off the bat, the boy had activate a Dōjutsu, it took the girl a minute to analyze it before adorning a face of anger. Sharingan. Uchiha fodder. Kuni took steps to the boy after he had the audacity to cough at her. Kunikunosaku started to charge at him but slowed down before lurching forward, lowering to a knee and clenching her stomach. Something was off, it's been a year since she had anything to internally affect her. Kunikunosaku hasn't even eaten anything for a year, why these feelings? And why at this time? Kunikunosaku stood back up, clenching her stomach. The girl slowly advanced before realizing metal shurikens flying around her. The wires they were attached to glinted in the sunlight and closed in rapidly around her. The girl tried to run before being suspended in this odd trap, watching as this boy seemingly jumped back and retreated, the girl watched in groaning confusion as he weaved a series of handseals, helpless, Kunikunosaku watched, helpless as a comet shaped fireball came at her.

Willing threads to create a grid around her heart, Kunikunosaku braced for immediate impact, and that was exactly what happened, chakra enhanced fire burned at the girl and broke the wires, knocking her back several feet, leaving a crater where she stood. The brace would have protected the girl, threads reconstructing her body as the burnt ones fell off, only to be replaced as if the threads were replicating bacteria. Free from the Genjutsu and the wires, Kunikunosaku growled as she pulled herself up looking as if it had no affect at all. She weaved two quick seals before expelling a very large cloud of smoke and burning ash. Weaving even more handseals under the cover of smoke, the girl prepared a jutsu before running under the cover of smoke. Under the assumption he was too careless to act, she'd attempt to charge and deliver a basic lunge punch hiding a brutal blow.

If he wasn't as dumb as rocks, Kunikunosaku would instead throw an explosive tag attached to a kunai at Issei's legs, counting on him to leap away, the girl would throw a high speed long limb where she guessed he would be in the air, certain the boy can't dodge when he's already in mid air and hopeful her guess was right.

NAME: Katon: Haijingakure no Jutsu [Fire Release: Hiding in Ash and Dust Technique]

DESCRIPTION:
The user molds Katon chakra before exhaling a large cloud of ash from their mouths that spreads outwards in a ten meter radius. The ash can sting if it gets in a person's eyes, but the true purpose of this technique is to create a smokescreen that blinds enemies, allowing the user to hide or escape.

DESCRIPTION:
By utilizing their kinjutsu, the user will extend on of their limbs. They can then direct the limbs to attack opponents with the maximum length of the limbs being 35 meters. Along with lengthening the limbs themselves the user can move a mass of tendrils and a heart with them into the limb, allowing it to act independently from the main body.

[UCHIHA ISSEI]

Everything appeared to work in favor of the Uchiha, and despite how well calculated he thought his plans were he didn't think he'd be able to actually pull it off. A brief sigh of relief escaped him as the crowd begin roaring. Everyone seemed to be pleased with how quickly he won. All the Uchiha needed to do now was to wait to see what the proctor said so he'd know he could relax fully.

Just as the aftermath of his Fire ball jutsu begin to clear ash suddenly begin to cover the area in which he body was assumed to be located. "What the Hell? What's going on?" The crowd immediately begin to roar in awe and confusion at the same time. It wasn't like Issei expected his move to kill her, but taking a full on comet blast Katon from the Uchiha was certain to put someone out of their misery, but that wasn't happening right now.

Issei would have been lying if he told himself that he wasn't a little bothered, or scared even. It wasn't humanly possible for a Genin to survive such an impact, and just as quickly as the ash came so did a kunai traveling in a trajectory Issei predicted to land at his feet. His reflexes were as good at it could almost be at his level, but that alone didn't mean he was out of danger. The Kunai had an explosive tag attached to it.

"Crap!"

The Uchiha exclaimed as he jumped backward from it just as it was coming to the ground. The concuss from the explosion was rough, but not as bad as it could have been had it not been for his reflexes. If anything all it did was give him more air on his backward jump, but it was apparent this Taki Shinobi had more up her sleeve than he could have even imagined.

Just when Issei thought he'd have room to recalculate his plans an arm came stretching in through the smoke. Being in mid air left him with little to no room to dodge, but his eyes put him in position to at least do something else. Plus the accuracy was slightly off given the Ash covering the area, and then the aftermath of the explosion. The punch was aimed to his chest. Given the element of surprise the Taki girl had it would land.

However, the amount of impact it would have was halved based on Isseis ability to catch it with both hands using his reflexes to reduce the impact. On his way to the ground he be sent sliding on the ground, but not before grabbing the arm with his right hand and then pulling out a Kunai from his left patch and attempting to slice the hand off in the hopes that her arm might retract.

If his planned worked out and the arm retracted the Uchiha would simply wait for the arena to clear before making anymore moves. After all there was no way he could calculate with the Ash and the smoke clearing from the explosion. Plus it would give him time to ease the slight bruise on his right pectoral.

POST SUMMARY: Issei waits to see if the fight ends. The smoke almost clears from the fire ball jutsu and then ash covers the area surrounding Kuni. Issei waits in shock, notices a kunai with a tag on it coming for his feet, and then jumps back away. The explosion pushes him back further and then a punch comes through the smoke. The punch lands, but with Isseis Tai spec and reflexes he is able to catch it which in turn halves the impact. After catching it he reaching into his left pouch for a Kunai to slice the hands of arm. He lands sliding backward some, post end.

It seemed like a miracle that her plan worked to an extent. With the kunai blown and the limb hitting... something all Kuni did was follow where it had been hit, but a feeling occured, the boy apparently grabbed it. Why? The girl came running out of the smoke and an audible gasp and cheer could be heard. Whether it was for her survival or the continuation of a fight; regardless, out of the smoky ash, Kuni immediately saw why the boy grabbed her arm. "You just don't know when to quit!" Pulling her arm back, the girl had hoped to catch his hand and pull him off balance. Leading her to rush at him as fast as she possibly could, however instead of fully reaching him, Kuni formulated a back up plan as he clearly must have saw her attack coming.

Rushing even faster at the boy, she threw a flash bomb as fast as she could, hopefully using his eyes against him. As soon as she got in range, the girl closed her eyes and punched forward, unleashing hundreds of long tendrils at the boy. In her mind, he had to choices, be bound in place or move and be blinded. It was a rough plan with clear holes, but the girl was willing to take the risks. Off balance or not, the girl hoped her plan was accurate enough for the tendrils to grab him, otherwise, she'd risk being open. One can only afford to close their eyes rarely in combat, this was a moment but it clearly wasn't her best idea but one made of her will to win.

As far as she was concerned, this boy might be strong enough to break her, but how, just how? She figured to keep her eyes close until after the container blew, hoping she catch him like she caught Etsuko's fish.

Jiongu | Earth Grudge Fear

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

DESCRIPTION:

At any point on the user’s body, hundreds of tendrils will quickly burst from their body to attempt to envelope a nearby opponent (within 5 meters). The tendrils will wrap around their body, or parts of their body and burrow into their skin.

The counter measures he was attempting to put into place seem like it was going to come together perfectly, but just as he was about to attempt to the cut the hand off the girl retracted her arm. Issei did well to use a little of the momentum she used to pull herself back to sort of control his backward movements. The aftermath of that sent him sliding backward just a little before completely regaining his footing.

The Taki ninja, now running out of the ash he could see the girl clearly with his eyes. It was amazing. It was as though her body was in near perfect condition despite the damage he placed upon her. The only thing Issei had going for him at this point was that the distance Kuni was going to have to clear was a good amount. After all she took the full force of his Fire Ball comet which would have sent her to the other side of the arena. Not to mention the many times he jumped away from her.

Just as she was getting out of the smoke Issei formed 4 handseals. This would finish just around the moment she'd already thrown what he could see was a flash bomb toward him, and unless the trajectory was immediately below herself she would have had to take one last glance at himself. The aftermath of his handseals would place her in a Genjutsu that would allow her to see the fire that came as a result of the explosion tag.

This of course wouldn't stop her attack, but it would change the circumstances around it. To avoid the inevitable outcome Issei took it upon himself use the body flicker technique to move to the left of the where he was standing facing away from where he believed the Flash bomb might land.

If all things worked the way he hoped then he'd be able to avoid the blindness, and hopefully the girl would be stuck in the Genjutsu giving him an opportunity to shoot the combustion stream in her direction. Mostly likely from a side angle.

  DESCRIPTION: A sight based Genjutsu that can catch many opponents. After the opponent has laid eyes on an open flame or an explosion, the user performs the necessary handseals. The opponent will see what may have earlier appeared to be a docile flame slowly grow and expand. This flame will then spread quickly and form a ring of fire around the opponent that is too high to be jumped over. The opponents will experience a feeling of being confined and trapped while surrounded by the flame as well as intense heat. Because it is a mere Genjutsu, attempts to douse the flames will only be met with the sight of the flames being momentarily diminished before they return to their earlier height.

  DESCRIPTION: By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

  DESCRIPTION: Combustion Stream consists of the ability to channel chakra through the forehead, often marked by an intricate translucent third-eye, superheating the surrounding air, and producing a translucent beam of combustive energy that crack like firecrackers as they traveled until erupting violently upon impact with a surface capable of creating a huge radius of fire burning anything in its path. Both in short and long ranges. This ability is mentally driven, requiring only inhalation and focus on the part of the user to initially utilize. Combustion Streaming requires good chakra flow and a properly calibrated focus in order to be effective, as disrupting it can have fatal consequences should the user not be effectively train to a certain standard. Despite superheating the air directly around the practitioner, this technique does not harm the user unless the fiery eruption occurs in the immediate vicinity. If a combustion user uses this skill and the fire stream erupts too close to the user of this jutsu, it could prove fatal. The length of which the stream is able to travel is dependent on the level of the user as well as the explosive radius of the stream. Also the speed of which the stream is able to travel is that of a thrown kunai. Once the user has reached the next level of rank, if needed is able to use the power of the previous rank to preserve chakra, or to only do damage to a certain degree.
  C ➠ RANK - At this level the user is capable of shooting out a stream capable of reaching a maximum distance of 50 meters with an erupting radius of only 10 meters. The degree of damage that can be done on a target at this level is equivalent to a 1st degree burn, and can be sent back flying as far as 5 meters. At this rank explosion is capable of destroying small boulders. The power release from each fiery eruption is also capable of evaporating Suiton jutsu of D rank and below.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Kuni took the full force of the Fire Ball jutsu which has a maximum travel distance of 40 meters. So she would have been sent back as far as that range, or at the very least to the end of the arena. In the aftermath of that attack she used the Hiding ash technique which extends outward 10 meters. Immediately after that she runs through it and throws a kunai toward Issei with a explosive tag.

Issei jumped backward as planned in the hopes to avoid most of the explosion while using its concussive force to push him further backward. This is immediately followed up with Kuni throwing the long limbs punch. Which lands while hes in the air pushing him back further. In conclusion the space between them is still relatively far from where we started.

POST SUMMARY: Isseis plan to remove the hand of the Taki nin fails as she retracts her arm from him. Issei uses the initial pull to regain control of his footing upon landing on the surface. Issei begins forming handseals ( 4 ) just as Kuni is coming from the "smokey ash" to throw a flash bomb. The Genjutsu goes into effect as the bomb is thrown into the air traveling. ( As soon as she got in range, the girl closed her eyes and punched forward) Given the distance between them she would have had to catch a glance of him before she closed her own eyes.

Issei uses the body flicker to the left just as the bomb goes off avoiding the attack. This is backed by Isseis Tai Secondary spec, his Sharingan which gives him good awareness, and his reflex SA. Afterward Issei forms two handseals and shoots a Combustion stream toward the ground in the direction of Kuni to set off an explosion while shes hopefully caught in the flaming Genjutsu. ( DM for problems or concerns )

It was a long journey but Kunikunosaku finally got near the boy, Issei. Near enough to prepare for her attack, as she threw the flash bomb however, the boy had enough time to prepare for a counter. She wasn't surprised, her plan did have a lot of holes in the first place. Unfortunately for her, the genjutsu came into effect after she shielded her eyes, bare milliseconds after throwing it. When the girl opened her eyes, she was instantly encircled by flames to high to jump over. Kunikunosaku yelled in annoyance as she stood in place. The temperature oddly rising. How can I feel this? Must be a ninjutsu. Kuni confirmed as she stretched a hand out, expecting to be burned, Heat? Fuck it. Kuni thought as she jumped through the flames, it didn't hurt, was it due to her abilities or another mind trick. She got up just in time to see another fire jutsu hit where she was. Are you fucking kidding me?!

"Enough!" Kunikunosaku yelled, hoping to get his attention his plan had failed as well. She moved as if to launch another limb at him, instead, she made a gesture as if she was choking him. If he saw, he'd feel like he was choking, gasping for breath, hopefully leave him an opening. If one came, she'd Body Flame behind Issei, almost as if fire did hit her before she would arrive behind him in virtually no time at all. As quickly as she could, Kuni would weave three seals before moving to quietly place a seal, if it went to plan, Kunikunosaku would laugh in spite.

"Ready for some fun?" Kuni would ask, proud of herself.

A technique used similar to the Body Flicker Technique. When using this technique, the body appears like it's being engulfed by flames, disappearing from view slowly. How the flames engulf the user stylistically is up to them.

DESCRIPTION:
Triggered by the target(s) seeing the user raise their hand as if to choke, the target(s) will immediately feel as if a hand is around their throat. They'll find it extremely difficult to draw breath due to the illusion, while in reality they will be perfectly capable of breathing fine. This is primarily used as a scare effect. Furthermore, while it doesn't always happen, at times the target(s) are so panicked that in trying to grasp at the seemingly invisible hands they could potentially injure their selves in truth.

DESCRIPTION:
After three hand-seals, the user will slap both hands on the ground and summon an intricate spherical seal on the ground, ten meters in diameter, with the user at the epicenter. Anyone or anything standing on the ground within ten meters is then sealed to the ground itself, locking their feet in place. They will be stuck in place until the seal is broken, which can be achieved by destroying the ground it is summoned on. People who were not inside the range can move over the surface of the seal once it's been summoned without any issue.

[UCHIHA ISSEI]

Given the timing of his actions Issei manage to get out of the way of the Taki Shinobi in just enough time to use his signature Combustion stream technique. The jutsu aftermath of the fiery explosion was capable of causing burns and able to knock the opposition hit as far as 5 meters. Based on how long it would have taken for them to have discovered the Genjutsu Kuni would have already been hit.

In the aftermath of this being done Issei formed another handseal creating a Shadow clone next to him. Before the Taki Shinobi could do whatever it did to survive the first Fire Ball it took the clone used another Combustion stream jutsu. This time with potency almost double the first which he was sure would be capable of taking her out to the point of a proctor coming in and stopping the fight as anything more would be overkill.

The real Issei used this moment to body flicker away from the trajectory twice to avoided the explosion radius that was to be set off. To further protect himself from the dangers of the technique Issei form six handseals to use the flame thrower version of the Fire Ball jutsu. This way he could use his own flames to push away from the explosion in the case it pushed out far enough to him.

Issei hoped to not have killed the girl, but given what little his Katon did to the girl in the beginning of the match he knew he'd have to take things up a notch. Hopefully a proctor stopped the fight so he wouldn't have to unload even more Katon on the girl. If anything he wanted to try to save as much Chakra as possible.

  DESCRIPTION: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, as well as their kekkei genkai. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

  B ➠ RANK - At this level the user is capable of shooting out a stream capable of reaching a maximum distance of 100 meters with an erupting radius of 50 meters. The degree of damage that can be done on a target at this level is equivalent to a 2nd degree burn, and can be sent back flying as far as 15 meters. At this rank the explosion is capable of destroying large boulders and burning homes. The power release from each fiery eruption is also capable of evaporating Suiton jutsu of C rank and below.

  DESCRIPTION: By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

  DESCRIPTION: Acquisition of this technique indicates a young Uchiha's transition to adulthood, and has thus become an identifying symbol among themselves. After performing the seals, chakra is kneaded inside the body and converted into fire which is expelled from the mouth either as a expeditious massive orb of roaring flame comparable to a comet or as a continuous flame-thrower. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater in the ground's surface. In its comet form, this technique is capable of going as far as 40 meters. As a flamethrower, its range is shorter at 20 meters, but can engulf several oncoming projectiles and opponents. For those who posses a Katon Ability, this technique possesses the speed, power, and efficiency of a B-ranked jutsu.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Kuni went in blindly for an attack  in her previous post which meant she wouldn't have had an idea where Issei was after he left. When her eyes opened she would have been in the Genjutsu already just as she saw him. In otherwords once the flames reached a high enough height theoretically speaking Kuni would have lost sight of Issei again. The Combustion stream would have hit just around the time Kuni made the choice to ignore the effects of the Genjutsu and walk through it.

POST SUMMARY: In the aftermath of Kuni being hit by the explosion ( which you didn't entirely acknowledge in the last post ) Kuni would have been sent back the full 5 meters along with burns covering her entire body. After the stream was released Issei would have created a Shadow Clone. The Shadow clone formed 2 more handseals before releasing another stream into the area Kuni would be. This time with a more power blast.

One capable of hopefully slowing the process of her Healing ( Unless somehow its instant? Not to mention the impact of two fire techs being capable of potentially ending the heart ) and would have exploded in a radius of 50 meters to which the Real Issei responds by 'Body Flickering' away Twice while forming 6 handseals to use the 'flamethrower' version of the Fireball Jutsu to push away the outskirts of the 50 meter explosion.

Impact from the first Katon would have broken the Genjutsu, and the Clone would have been destroy on impact from the much bigger explosion returning Issei his Chakra and memory of what might have taken prior.( DM for problems or concerns )

And just like that, the girl fucked up. As she chose to ignore the genjutsu, actual fire hit her, burning at her threads and doing her the favor of knocking her 5 meters away. The Taki girl was literally against the was, burned gruesomely. The threads took the time refresh and repair, her SA failing her. This is the worst time, Kuni! IDEAS, NOW! Kōi mentally yelled as he tried to stand, another stream and explosive fire smashed her against a wall, destroying what her threads repaired. Kuni screamed in pain and tried to push the flames away. The girl fell to the ground and curled up, wounded dangerously in both pride and physically. Arrogance was her downfall, or was it the damn eyes? Kunikunosaku continued to burn as the threads moved to protect the heart. Hardening and wrapping to cover her lethal destruction, Kunikunosaku just waited, yelling in agony rather than doing anything. It became clear there was no way she would make a comeback, she needed so much more training to fight his eyes.

As the fire started to die, all that remained was a black sphere, slowly it seemed as if the threads replicated before building a black mass/outline of her former body. As more of Kunikunosaku repaired, a scream of pain resonated from the creature before it falling to the ground. As the threads slowly stitched her form back together, she laid motionless, waiting for someone to call an end. Only, that call would never come. Pushing herself to her knees, Kunikunosaku took out a smoke bomb and threw it on the ground, covering her in smoke as she took an explosive tag, the girl awaited for the pain to die down, threads wrapping around her heart to shield her for what's to come.

"Enough mind games, let's see how good those eyes are in a combat fight. Or are you just gonna keep shooting fireball and waiting for this to happen again." Knowing she has to fight exposed for a bit, the girl tried to minimize pain input hopefully long enough for her drive to kick back up. Her will, her resolve needed a confidence boost, she needed to build her will enough to get back in the game, hell, a successful hit could build that up in a series of unsuccessful ones. Hiding the explosive tag in the threads of her hand, Kuni formed a fist but lowered her arm for the time being.

"How good can you dance? Clearly fire can't keep me down." Kuni shouted as the smoke died. Kuni stood tall as the smoke tarted to billow, letting her and Issei lock eyes.

After having to recycle the roots that ended up killing the previous Apprentice just to transfer Jiongu to Kunikunosaku, the mass of black roots recollects most of its abilities from the Apprentice previous while forming new ones with its new master/host, Kunikunosaku. As far as the roots are concerned, like any organism, it desires to feed and survive, all else is not required, nor necessary to function. As for the Symbiotic Relationship benefits Kunikunosaku can control the thread-like roots however she wishes. The thread are quite versatile, acting much like surgical threads they can be used to sew up wounds stretch, or harden for attacks akin to squid tentacles, as well as being equally flexible and significantly dexterous. In time, Kunikunosaku will learn that as long as they keep a heart attached to at least some of the roots making up her body at all times, she is functionally immortal, only dying once all the threads are completely removed from any living hearts, and is unable to be poisoned. Because all of her vital organs and their corresponding systems are gone, Kunikunosaku has no need to breathe, eat, or sleep. The roots are sufficiently maintained by storing hearts that are pumping and living, in turn drawing sustenance from them. These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

The Frustration that Issei was beginning to feel was an understatement. He hoped after his last technique that the fight was over. Even if somehow she managed to survive it that someone would step in. Issei wasn't looking to take the life of this Shinobi. Even if she was from an enemy nation none of those things mattered to the Uchiha. Issei had always been about taking orders.

If he wasn't required to kill anyone on command through a mission or "specific" task then there was no need to do. Issei upbringing was as good as it could get. None of his parents died as a result of the previous war, and as a result he had no personal anger to anyone. His grandparents might have succomb to previous wars, but he never knew them. All he wanted was to prove himself to his Family, Village, Teammates, and of course Yuuta who helped him get to this point.

"Just give up... Please..."

Issei muttered as the smoke begin to clear as he starting jogging closer to the clearing to see what was happening. Up until he got closer all he could do was rely on the reaction of the crowd to see what was going on. For a moment it seemed like he'd finally done it, but then the crowd begin reacting as if something was going on. "N-no way... No..." A heavy igh escaped the lips of the Uchiha as he waited to see what was going on.

He could have easily fired another devastating stream into the area Kuni was at, but he did not, and hopefully the people that were responsible for his promotion would know this. Issei would take it upon himself one last time to develop a plan that could hopefully bring this match to an end the way he wanted to. In the process of while everything was coming together he gather 8 Shuriken.

Attaching them to the wire inside of his waist pack turned toward his back. Once the smoke bomb was thrown into the ground the Uchiha growled in frustrations. "You're such an asshole man... There's no point." Issei remained patient for an opening. Deciding that he didn't want to waste much chakra left he decided that there were other method he could utilize until he could get the girl to quit.

The second she started yelling at him Issei threw his Shuriken around Kuni just like he did the first time. This time with a little more wire and more Shuriken. He knew that her recovery process had to have some sort of cost. There was no telling how much energy, and or Chakra she had left. He'd do well to manipulate them around her just as she was talking to trap her. It would be in her best interest to do so.

Trying anything else would lead to him releasing the wires, jumping backward, and forming two handseals; using another [Combustion stream] capable of putting her in more painful situation, but if he were to catch her in his wire trap he'd clap and place her into the Genjutsu he intended to use earlier as a failsafe. This would convince her that she was sinking into the ground and could not move. If the latter plan worked out he'd try to talk some sense into her.

"You don't have to die here... Enemy nation or not... I just want to move on... I get it, you're indestructible, and you probably have a lot you want to prove to your village... But the reality is that If you keep going you're going to leave me no choice but to obliterate you with my flames... I don't want to... But I will if I have to."

• E.P.T. | SOLE REFLEXES | HANSHA 反射 - Fighting up close in combat with Issei will prove difficult to opponents seeing as his ability to see others movements almost before they even fully develop puts them at a disadvantage. This ability isn't however, made to be an excuse for god modding, instead, it is used as a measure to separate himself from those who have not devoted a prioritized amount of time into that area of training.
  
• SHARINGAN | 1 TOMOE KG - Through birthright and blood Issei has access to the Uchihas legendary power, the Sharingan. With it, Issei can do a number of things starting with his enhanced perception of movement. While its abilities are not on par with the second and third tomoe eyes its visual prowess is still strong enough to just barely slow the movements of others, and when used in conjunction with his reflex ability it makes it harder for others to get to him, hit him, or even just get closer to him in general without Issei spotting them. The Sharingans most popular skill stems from its ability to see Chakra in physical form. With it Issei can not only distinguish what is being used based on its color, but its visual prowess allows him to see through Genjutsu making it easier for him to Kai out of it. SN: Kai is still limited to what the chart says.
  
• SUPERIOR CHAKRA | RESERVES - with this he is able to perform use a larger repertoire of jutsu without the consequences of running out of chakra like most are accustomed to, and thus isn't limited to the amount of jutsu he can use at once. Also this ability grants him the power to user higher ranking jutsu with little to no consequences given the fact that he has a greater amount of chakra than most.

  DESCRIPTION: After a clap, the opponent will inexplicably begin to sink into the ground beneath them. The ground seemingly spreading up their legs as it seemingly sucks them into the ground, an inch at a time. To the user it seem's impossible to get out, the ground never breaking or relenting. Slowly immobilizing the user, starting with their legs and within two minutes, their entire body. It is easily mistaken for Doton. It can catch one person per casting.
  

IMPORTANT NOTES: Kuni is probably going to be sluggish, so be mindful of that

POST SUMMARY: In the aftermath of Kuni being hit by the 2nd explosion Issei jogs toward the area to see if Kuni survived the explosion, and if she did if she was finally goingto give up. As he waits he gets out 8 Shuriken and attaches them to wire. When the smoke bomb is used Issei waits patiently to make his move.

Once Kuni yells at him Issei fires them out toward her using the Shurken Manipulation jutsu again to tie her up to the point of not being able to break out. In the case that she is able to dodge them will form 2 handseals and use the combustion Stream jutsu again to rip her apart again. If she is caught Issei will clap to trap her into another Genjutsu before approaching her and pleading with her to give up.( DM for problems or concerns )

[Asuka Waruichi]

Asuka had arrived early to get an eyeful of all of the other competitors. Her fight was later in the day and as a way of somewhat unwinding she’d spectate the other matches. As she arrived she saw the Uchiha boy that was on her team, she hadn’t a clue who he was or what his clan was about other than what she saw but after a quick conversation with her father she had learned all she needed. A fearsome clan from Konohagakure that was renowned for their Sharingan. "That must be what those red eyes of his were for.” she thought as she watched him approach from out of the entrance. "My he’s handsome.” she’d say watching him start out towards the field. Across from him was a girl wearing dark clothes with blue hair she saw by her headband where she was from. "Takigakure huh…” she looks down at the young girl. She certainly looks interesting. In the early goings of the fight Issei seemingly didn’t do much aside form activate his sharingan but after stepping back his opponent seemed to clutch her stomach.

"Was that some sort of genjutsu?” the youth would think. Suddenly she’d watch him step back and wrap them up in his crazy Shuriken wire. "That’s that stuff he was using earlier during the previous rounds!” she’d say intrigued by his actions. Suddenly the girl would be wrapped up with the wires and with no way to escape would be constricted Afterwards fire would spew from his mouth crafted in the form of a large comet. And leave a crater in the ground. Asuka would look in amazement at his actions. "Whoa…wait is it over!” the crowd would start to roar! "Way to go Issei Kun!” she’d shout out at him.

However

Just as quickly as she had celebrated as if out of nowhere a paper bomb kunai made it’s way near Issei. Asuka noted this and watched as Issei jumped back. Just then within the smoke seem to reach out towards the dark skinned uchiha boy. Asuka was having a hard time following what had gone on at this point and in a few moments once the smoke cleared she saw it. That small child who was seemingly obliterated stood right back up.

The next sequence happened rather quickly, a flash bomb was thrown Issei moved out of the way and then suddenly large flames engulfed the icy field. The blue haired girl was blown back once again Asuka would look at Issei as he completed his technique. "Just how much chakra does he have.” she’d look over once again at the large crater. "That’s gotta be it right?” she’d think to herself as she watched what had happened.

Just like that the strange...creature...whatever IT actually was came to form yet again. Asuka seemed a bit terrified. "That’s a genin...no way she’s even human.” the girl thought as the fight raged on Issei seemed as if he was running on empty he had expended a lot of energy but what was going to happen next? Asuka didn’t want to see Issei lose but at this point ti seemed like he might just be fighting for more than just a W on the judges scorecard. She was worried but the look on Issei’s face didn’t seem to show it. With that Asuka decided to give him a little bit of encouragement.

"Issei-kun! You can do it! Finish em off!” she’d yell encouragingly to the dark haired lad. Her face would hold a smile and a soft giggle. Thankfully she was away from her family, we doubt they’d approve of someone cheering for someone from a village that is effectively an enemy nation. And while Asuka had pride in her village she wouldn’t hate someone without cause especially not one as attractive as him. There were a lot of fights she wanted to see and this one was one of them.

When the smoke finally cleared, the girl could here the desperation in his voice and part of her laughed as she walked forward, in a mass of horror and gasps, it felt like he had won, that head no more trick, and that would've been the case, but the girl had reached her pain limit, and despite having more to go through in terms of chakra, a pang rang in her head, sharp and thunderous, the girl fell to her news and held her head. STOP! YOU NEED TO LIVE, WE MUST GETS HEARTS! DON'T- PLEASE DON'T LOSE YOUR LIFE TO THIS BASTARD. Kuni felt like she was going to cry, fall apart, she let everyone down with her poor performance and now, even Jiongu is begging her to live. Kuni aimed her left arm to the side and sent it flying, using long limb to reach as far as it can before she raised a single seal and a word. "Kai!" The arm blew off and the remaining threads reattached themselves before she held her black arm in pain, screaming to the heavens.

There was just no point, even Kuni couldn't fight an Uchiha, not yet at least, she needed to be stronger, she needed more power. She can't die now, all the promises made to Wasurete, Hideo, Etsuko, Takeshi, Sesshoku, Akio, Ryū, and her clan. She failed them, but she felt like maybe she could redeem herself, when the shuriken came, she didn't move, too much pain... too much sorrow was in her heart. How could she ever go home when she harped on coming back a Chūnin. The wires held her, but the clap sent her back into the ground. It didn't need to go far, she was already down, completely demotivated to fight, Jiongu made it clear and she couldn't ignore her life-force. She couldn't ignore her savior and destroyer.

When Issei walked up to her, he looked up with a sad, defeated, pitiful gaze. If she could cry, she would. Death would have been better than this pain, but she wanted to go by her hand, not some bastard Uchiha. That's why when he tried to talk some sense into her. It stung, it hurt like hell to even hear him to warn her. Stuck in the ground, bonded to no choice, her voice broke, "I wanted to prove to my friend, my family, my leader that I could control my power, that I can be a Chūnin, that I was worth a damn. And you took that from me, you beat me; not just literally, you destroyed my already shattered life. I can't forgive you, but I can't fight you, not right now, not yet. I don't even know if I can, but know this, I'll come for you after you make it to Chūnin."

The weakened Kuni already was feeling her threads try to sneak through the wire, despite it being pointless. The Kunoichi looked up and shouted at the top of her lungs, "I CONCEDE FROM THIS MATCH. I DON'T WANT TO DIE, I GIVE THIS MATCH TO HIM!" The Taki shinobi yelled before just breaking down, sobbing with no tears, pride broken, trust lost... match lost. The girl stayed in place, waiting to be rescued from this hell, or even the boy to leave, she was too ashamed of herself for letting so many people down.

These roots also allow Kunikunosaku to utilize the inherent nature of any hearts she adds to their body, allowing them to perform jutsu of that element as if it was their natural affinity.

Symbiotic Relationship: Mutualism

After gaining knowledge on how Jiongu behaves and acts, Kunikunosaku developed a strong bond with the Jiongu entity. Accepting both live in her now; that both are what makes up Kunikunosaku. As a result of this understanding and bond, Jiongu aids her in combat - despite being a small boost. When conditions are met, Jiongu can provide an aided strength boost to Kunikunosaku during combat. It is still relative to her natural strength at the time. While this has no speed benefits, this boost of strength can put her up to par with the max strength of her peers at the same rank level. As she matures and gains new skills and new statuses. So too does her strength grow.

Symbiotic Bond: Strong Mind, Strong Body

As Kunikunosaku developed a stronger relationship with Jiongu, the creature bestowed Kunikunosaku an additional gift. That which is bestowed grants her the body as strong as her will. As long as she has the will to fight and keep pushing forward, Kunikunosaku has attained a sense of a strong body. She can still feel all the pain she receives, however, her will will push through it; literally making her body push through the pain and maintain functionality despite the egregious wounds she may receive. Overwhelming pain at one time or other will breaking input can debilitate the girl's will-driven tolerance to falter to the degree of an average shinobi, opening her up to common pain. It is this will that allows her to force the tendrils/roots/threads to repair themselves from injury or stitch back together. This will increases with her skill as she becomes more confident and driven to satiate both her needs and Jiongu's.

[UCHIHA ISSEI]

The Uchiha admittedly hated that the fight had to get to this point. He was hoping for a knockout blow where he'd be the clear winner and that was it, but this girl was unnatural beyond anything he'd ever seen. The worst part about all of this was that she was nothing more than a Genin. If she was tanking hits like this he couldn't even imagine the kind of damage she could take as a Jounin years from now.

He wouldn't have been surprised if his village told him to kill the girl as a result of her potential, but luckily for her he was not. He didn't care for destroying anyone so long as they didn't give him a reason to. To see the girl in such a defeated state was hard. He couldn't imagine all the pressure she had to endure prior to coming here. Kazui was someone that came to mind when thinking about someone his rank.

She too had come a long way, and unlike himself didn't have an easy path laid out for her. This girl probably had a lot to lose if she did not succeed. Hopefully the exams provided another opportunity for her to show her skills. If her were more of a close range fighter he might have lost, or even been killed just as fast as she could have without her abilities. Everything was a matter of matchup, and fortunately for him his skills matched up well against her strengths.

The next person probably was not going to be so lucky. Nevertheless, he was glad that she didn't get the better of him. After she loudly proclaimed her defeat to the proctor Issei took in a sigh of relief, Immediately deactivating his Sharingan before taking it upon himself to address the girl. "It's going to be alright." The Uchiha spoke softly while cutting the wire and releasing her from the Genjutsu if she hadn't freed herself already.

"You'll get to do all of those things.... So long as you don't give up that is." He spoke over the very emotional girl not knowing whether or not she'd actually hear him. "It sucks that I'll be the one on you're list because you have great power, but to make sure you don't catch me off guard I'll work even harder... Friends, or foe... I guess it doesn't matter in this event, and I'm glad... This will be the only time I get to wish you luck."

Issei remained humble. It was easy to beat down an already broken individual, but he was taught not to celebrate these kinds of victories. Respect was something he was taught you gave to anyone who deserved it. She fought hard, and just in case the folks at home didn't see it he did. Once he finished his piece he'd allow himself to be escorted back to the room with the others.

Taki "Bakudan" Okada

As the fight between Issei and Kuni began Taki took her seat and looked out at the combatants she looked over the name of the first individual a woman dressed in black wearing very minimal clothing. "Yo, can she be dressed like that out here...ain’t it a bit cold?” She’d then look back at her instructor. "Even I ain’t crazy enough to wear my leotard out in this weather.” She looked down at her once more. So who is she fighting, she’d wonder looking over at her opponent a dark skinned man wearing some heavy winter clothing. She’d look over his name inside of her pamphlet that held the names of the all the participants and saw the leaf village logo beside his name.

At that point the girl had already knew exactly who she wanted to see win, she looked out as the battle began and saw the young man cough and then moments later the under-dressed girl seemingly crumpled over like she had a case of the shits. "Yo is she okay...she looks kinda out of it.” she’d look at her adversary and watch as he threw a series of shuriken at the girl which began to wrap her up in a series of wires. Taki’s brow raised, "Yo what is that scumbag doin?” she’d think to herself as she looked at the actions that he took when suddenly he formed a series of handseals and torched her with a massive blast of fire.

All the while the young dark skinned genin looked completely stone faced the entire time, once it was over the crowd had begun to cheer seemingly thinking that the fight was over in an instant. However once the smoke had cleared all that was left there was a dark blob. Taki looked down at it as it bubbled and oozed, she’d then have a disgusted look on her face as if somewhat just passed gassed and the smell had wrapped it’s way into her nose. "Eugh…” she’d think as she watched the girl seemingly reform. "What the fuck…” she’d think as she watched her come back to life. "What the hell IS she?” the girl would say looking over at her instructor standing up and then leaning over on the railing.

Suddenly as a pillar of ash grew form the sight of the flames a quick "Scwink.” of a Kunai could be heard as a kunai was launched towards the Scumbag and exploded within moments of leaving. "Yeah that’ll teach you to get cocky punk!” she’d say fully hoping that the kunai had led to the young man’s demise. But before she could celebrate she hadn’t notice that not only did he manage to dodge but he also had caught what looked to be something that looked like an elongated black tendril that went through the smoke. Taki would follow the trail back to small poorly dressed girl that was sitting in the snow. "She’s alive!?” the girl would think. "Man they're both freaks.” she’d think to herself keeping her eyes on the action.

Afterwards the girl would toss something and then move in on his a large flash could be seen ringing out and Taki covered her eyes but in that brief moment the Konoha Scum was already somewhere else on the battlefield and his opponent looked as if she had been stabbed in the back or something the way she seemed to be hunched over but nothing was happening. "What t he heck is wrong with her...she’s just on the ground is she scared of him or something?” The girl would think to herself. "Eyyy! Get up! He ain’t nothing but a--!” she’d shout out to her. But after a moment the girl would get knocked back by a blast a full 14 or 15 feet. "Yo say what!?” After a moment a stream of fire would make it way towards the girl. Taki having her eyes locked on whatever it was he was doing when suddenly BOOM a large pillar of fire impact the girl and the wail she let out was sickening. Taki’s mind immediately warped to thoughts of her uncle. "My uncle is being held captive by people who can do things like that…” She looked to the boy who seemed completely undisturbed the entire time as a result of the fight.

But even after the flame had dissipated the girl still seemed to be alive, the fight looked like it was over the girl’s body had reformed but she seemed to be saying something to her. "Girl looks like she’s begging for mercy...I guess the fight must be…” suddenly Issei would wrap the girl in Shuriken once again. "H-hey! You asshole what’re ya doin she’s d--.” he’d then ignite yet another flame that would seemingly be just as powerful as the last incenerating the girl. "I know that girl can keep coming back but that’s gotta hurt right…!?” the girl would think. Eventually she’d hear her shouting loud enough to call the match off. Taki would hang her head a bit seething with anger and a little bit of fear for what might be happening to her uncle at the hands of those Konoha Scum. She didn’t watch their final exchange she simply took her seat and remained silent. "What a bastard…” she’d think to herself. She’d then look over at the Konoha representatives who seemed to be rather pleased with him. Taki would grip her fist seething with rage. "Those monsters...if that’s what their genin can do there’s no telling what their higher ups are like. Don’t worry uncle...I’ll save you.” she'd think to herself.
