Peace Between All すべての間の平和 ❧ For the most part things were going exceptionally well for Midori. Taki and Konsho were spending time together and it allowed for the woman to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, something that was rare even though she was the sage. The brunette sat idly on a soft cushion that was seated by the window, she was meditating as she always did, more so now than ever since her life seemed to be turning upside down. She was trying to find her happiness again, which was a tough task. The woman felt as if she were fighting the same problems that she fought when she was sixteen. Loss after loss. Which was why she focused on her spirit during this time off, every other moment however she would peek through the window to see the weather as it unfolded outside.
After what felt like thirty minutes of meditation, the sage would look out the window, and off in the distance she would see a heavy avalanche falling. Things of that nature normally happened in Yuki no Kuni, but she was given a strong feeling to check everything out to make sure everyone was fine. A soft sigh would escape through her calm expression as natural energy mixed into her own life force, gently resting her eyes she would force her chakra outwards and as the snow fell she could sense and see that her students were caught in the mix, as well as another high ranking shinobi in the area. The kids looked terrified, and so Midori’s eyes quickly shot open. As she took to her feet and quickly left the room.
It didn’t take her long to get on the scene, her sage mode deactivated as she trudged through the snow, her arms hugged around herself as she wore a leather coat, and a thick blanket was held in her hands. When she arrived at the makeshift camp, the woman wouldn’t say anything. Instead, the only greeting Taki and The Leaf shinobi would get was a glance from the woman’s fiery eyes. She saw her son laying there lifeless, she wanted to break down all over again but instead she would simply walk over to the boy and pick him up into her arms, wrapping the boy up in the blanket as she did so before laying him back down again. Her attention was then turned to Taki, and the very coat that the woman wore would be placed over her back as she stooped down in front of the kid and grabbed her hand.
"Come on..”
The woman voiced softly before looking over her shoulder at the Senju.
"Grab the boy, please.”
Midori spoke in a dry tone, it was clear that she was upset. However, she didn’t want to waste any more time outside of Byakuya, especially in the snow when her students were injured. They needed medical care as soon as possible.
