IDEOLOGY AND HISTORY

"More! More! MORE!" Excess and Ecstasy, Greed and Gluttony - almost as if it were a parody, Omatsurisawagi relishes in its lack of structure. The idea that there is never enough for one person, one man, or one god runs rampant. While individuals have sought to reign in these facets of the organization, the attempts have been found moot, and often pointless. -- As the world has changed with time, beings, presence; much has grown with it. From chakra, to bijuu, to things that are otherworldly - fewer things still have managed to last. Unchanged, inneverant to the changing reality around it. Tanoshimu, as it was called; a God named Revel, burning and twisting between the worlds of the Pure and Impure. Tanoshimu's influence on the world at large was little, in the beginning. Like all Gods born out of some supernatural power to fight the Bijuu, Tanoshimu's influence was like a seed that grew and grew. Initially able to take quite a pure form and in effort to conquer and reside over the Bijuu he fought and fought just like all the others. Where some tried to ally together, Tanoshimu relied on no other but himself - like other religions tended to as well. His own popularity was relatively curbed by the appearance of how his boons took form in others. People were subtle, but not Tanoshimu. Where they preached from afar the deity wanted people to know he was very very real.

LAWS AND STRUCTURE

"When you are found wanting, do not fear. The taste of wine, the touch of skin, the love of god; it will all be yours, just as it all is mine. -The Birth, Verse Four Above all, Omatsurisawagi preaches excess. For those that seek it, the religion readily supplies it - blood, sex, food, - anything one's heart desires. Even at the lowest level, a member is seemingly entitled to a variable wealth of luxuries and glory, indulgences that carry their own prices. One bearing membership will never have enough, be it greed, or be it lust. It is as much a law as it is a fact. Religious Laws Take, take and take (Bare not the laws of man, worry about my laws) Give, give and give (Users must make others aware of their gift and where it came from when it is used. A mention is sufficient.) Provide for me and I shall provide for you (Users of the religion must work for their food and give as much as they take.) Repent chakra and give it to me (No Chakra) Everything you need is before you (No weaponry other than the Symbiote themselves) Toss a coin to your god (Offer a prayer when you wake and before you sleep) With their level of excess, it is rarely found that Shinobi will make home in ninja villages, lest their heart be found elsewhere or left in want. Though not entirely incompatible they are just generally not known as good company. Their rules, are usually found to be too restraining for those in need of more.

ABILITIES

"On your blade, you will find god. Spill from your heart, as pigs to the slaughter. In blood, we find more." - The Birth, Verse One A gift from Tanoshimu is granted on those who reach the privilege of an Acolyte - the ability to bring their god into the world of the pure. After accepting his gift, and undergoing a ritual in which the newly acquainted acolyte is given a false death, they will be reborn. Within their blood, a fragment of God - of Tanoshimu - will sleep. Upon letting blood, be it willingly in sacrifice or being attacked, the dormant fragment will awaken, granting otherworldly, terrifying strengths. Those of the religion carry, and bare a seed of Tanoshimu's power, used as a vessel for him to return to the world when he is strong enough, as when the user's power increases, so does that individual fragment. As a creature born of blood, Tanoshimu will bear himself as the Acolyte's familiar, granting a series of benefits and boosts to create a physical form and will be treated as a familiar and registered as one. As the (henceforth known as Symbiote) latches on to the user, as the user grows more powerful the Symbiote becomes less reliant on the user's blood to form, create and maintain mass, requiring less to create more. For that reason, their sizes to begin with are usually no larger than that of the average dog, and end up no larger than an 8ft creature. The Symbiote itself can latch on to the user, creating and changing its own form to manifest weapons from its own mass - usually creating freakish like experiments and additions such as teeth, whips, claws and other usually bestial armaments. This Symbiote grows in power alongside the user. Growing in size relative to the drain it passes onto the user, and can provide even more benefits as listed below. These SAs must be done in this order, and may not be mixed and matched. Physical boost The user just starting out on their journey through Omatsurisawagi usually finds themselves at the bottom. But Tanoshimu is as greedy as he is cunning, and so he offers a boon: a physical enhancement of the user's bodily functions (speed, strength, senses [reflexes/evasion/perception] and durability. Weapon Manifestation Through learning how to actually control the physical being implanted into themselves, the user has learned how to better utilise their own sacrifices (their own blood) in exchange for forming a selection of weaponry, usually sprouting from their body. [1] [2] [3] for their offering and as a literal seed of their God, these weapons and constructions are just as good as any other chakra enhanced weaponry and offer a sharpness that parallels even the top blades in the world. Healing Factor o receive one must give. In Tanoshimu's interest in keeping himself alive, to drain more chakra from his willing participants and to eventually make his way back into the world he must actually keep those strong, alive. In offering that, he gives a greater enhancement, which offers an enhanced longevity (though certainly not to the extent of certain clans or religions) but also: the ability to heal from injury. As long as the head is not separated from the body or particular organs are struck and killed, the Acolytes (and above) can regenerate many wounds. Though the more severe wounds will ultimately drain the user for weeks, or months, potentially such as a removed limb, they will grow back. Immediate cuts, sprains, bruises, stabbings - these can be done in a matter of minutes to days depending on the severity. Full Manifestation Benefit: When in a full Manifestation this healing factor is enhanced even further for the resources it drains from the user, though yet still not strong enough to regenerate entire limbs, they can shrug off more threatening injuries with more relative ease. This Religion is initially designed as to be utilised by an Elite Jonin from creation, so if someone starts at an earlier rank, and takes on the religion immediately they may register other separate "religion" SAs or their own specific SAs. How does one register a Familiar? Take your pick. Pick a bestial like creature, ideally something similar in style to that of Venom associated with the Spiderman Series, and register it like you would register any equipment. They are automatically "S-rank" familiars, but their true power may not reflect that to begin with. Can I mix and match the abilities in a different order? No. Isn't this basically a Bijuu? No. This is Tanoshimu's "investment strategy" that the stronger people he creates, the more chakra and 'payment' he can take, and thus meaning the sooner and quicker he will return to the mortal world as a real being.
