As he waited in the rendezvous, on the road that let into the ruins that had been found in the whirlpool country, the Senju would lift his eyes towards the jungle around him. Green eyes observing the lush vegetation around him and how it had slowly reclaimed what had been the signs of civilization. Quietly he would close his eyes, taking a deep breath as the tropical warm air of the island would fill his lungs. He had slipped into the shadows provided to forest or infiltrated under the canopies of jungles and even hid in the sparse bushes among the prairies. But there was something about this jungle, this island that almost struck him as ethereal. As he opened his eyes to the sound of the fauna and finding the first hints that once a temple had been erected here. Kazuto wondered what sort of calamity had occurred here to tear down a structure so magnificent now reduced to rubble, husks of buildings and underground chambers that were rife with riches, both in the physical realm as well in the in all the knowledge that could be store if they managed to dig and break through the debris that covered any and all entrances. He saw pillars with the carved with the ushiogakure and a series of symbols that reminded him of sealing formulas. Crossing his arms together the Senju would then hear the chatter of individuals down the road. He saw the figures of the researchers and experts in their full regalia as archeologists and someone else. He had heard that Sunagakure had offered an operative that had experience with the archeological research or at least he had thought so after reading the dossier. He knew who she was and as he straightened up, he would look at both the group and the shinobi from Sunagakure. "Hello there." He said in a monotone tone. "I'm Senju Kazuto from Konohagakure, I will provide security during the length of the research alongside Oonakayama Arashi" He said as he curtly nodded to the young woman. "Surely you've made acquaintances with her. I have taken the liberty to scout the area, aside the equipment and workers you requested, the area seems to be secure." He added as he stepped to a side and allowed the group to advance, stepping next to the kunoichi of Sunagakure. "I apologize we didn't get a chance to properly meet." Kazuto said as he spoke to Arashi. "I've read your file, it is an honor to have you in this mission, hopefully we can strengthen the bonds of friendship between our villages." He said as he would smile slightly at her before looking straight at the researchers. There was something familiar about his new acquaintance, something about her felt like he had, for the lack of a better term, felt before, like an aura beneath the good looks and seemingly pleasant disposition. "You are the daughter of the Lord Kazekage, are you not?" He asked, trying to at the very least engage in small talk.

"The language itself seems to match...probably looking at the very least close to two centuries at best..." Arashi would look over the walls that lined the underground passage, her expression serious as she adjusted her gourd upon her back. As she had spoke, the young female would see the glances from two of the researches, her expression going blank as they blinked in her direction. "I do a lotta reading..." Either they seemed to think it a surprise or simply didn't care, the two would seem to move on toward the surface as she released a sigh as she followed after them. This assignment had been quite the undertaking, and if her father had been able, he probably would have taken it on just for the fact that it involved such a rare find. The ruins of an ancient Uzumaki clan temple, a hidden underground area that held old symbols and text, it was like a holiday for her. Though she imagined that these experts were looking for something specific as to authenticate this location, personally she didn't think there was any real need to do so. This was just as about as real as you could get. Even the area alone seemed to show signs related to a time that had long since been over. Still, she couldn't very well tell these people that. Apparently, she was supposed to be seen and not heard, or at least not give her opinion on the subject of these remains. As she followed back to the surface, it appeared that her supposed back up had arrived, seeming to go into introduction as he greeted the two researchers. Nodding back toward him, she'd watched the two seem to move to the side, as if to gather more equipment, leaving only the two of them as Senju Kazuto apologized for not having the time to properly get to know her. "Don't worry bout it...thanks for getting a head start on scanning the area...been a bit too busy to set up a perimeter by keepin an eye on things here.." Crossing her arms over her chest, she'd give the older male a once over, her brow raised as she then heard him speak of how he had read her file, meaning that he had been given some access to details on her profile. It was similar for her as well, though in truth, she couldn't help but wonder why a Clan lord was out doing assignments? Of course, the question could be asked of a princess as well. In stating what an honor it was to be working with her, and his hope that doing so will strengthen the bond between their two villages, Arashi would show a toothy grin as she moved one hand down to rest on her hip. "Not seein that becomin an issue...can't wait to see what a Senju can do in action..." Best to keep things light as the girl then pointed her thumb backwards as she gestured toward the group. "So far we've only located what looked to be the second and...likely only floor that leads down to the very bottom. The group seems to wish to want to find something in which to very well prove it's origin as Uzumaki, but personally I think it all checks out...the language, the style of the text on the walls. Hell, even the remains of the place scream of the clan..it's all in comparing the style with that of what you'd see in modern day Uzumaki structures...the similarities are incredible..." Realizing how quickly her true archeologist was showing, Arashi would reach her other hand close to her face, coughing into it's cupped shape as it appeared the question of her being related to the Kazekage came up. "Yea...but no need to run on ceremony at the the moment...I won't call ya my Lord if you don't start callin me Princess...sound good?" "I shall keep that in mind, Arashi." The Senju said, returning the grin. Looking ahead the two shinobi would follow the team of researchers and archeologists, the ruins slowly coming into view in the shape of half sunken buildings that had been reclaimed by moss, portals that had seemingly been ripped away from the soil and blocks of granite that had been forcibly torn down or simply flung away just by judging the angle in which it had landed. Few walls remained intact and those that did would not reveal much for they were just the tip of a larger find. "Can't say this is my area of expertise." He would murmured to the Suna kunoichi. As much as he would appreciate the artistry that the ancient Uzumaki ruins would show. He could recognize some of the artwork and symbols carved upon rock and wood as he had seen those during the traditional meetings between the Senju Clan and Uzumaki as they tried to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and friendship between both clans. But in truth he had never bothered to ask what they meant or if they had a meaning of anything at all. Walking towards one of the tents that had been erected in the middle of the excavation the sound of shovels, pickaxes and men moving around as they removed debris began to compete with the sounds of nature. Inside the tent they would find the group of researchers, speaking among themselves and assigning roles in the excavation, such as the cleaning and study of artifacts and the categorization of any scrap of lore that they could find. "Ah yes, the Shinobi. Arashi and Kazuto was it?" One man that seemed to be well into his fifties asked behind eyeglasses. "It is fortunate that the site seems so intact, we suspect we can make breakthroughs soon, so perhaps your presence will not be as necessary as we thought." The old man said.

"I've done some research into ancient clan cultures so I know a bit about the Uzumaki clan and their relation to Uzushio. It's no secret that much of the clan has scattered to the winds and established themselves globally. Probably the reason why Konohagakure and Sunagakure want to try and gain some renewed favor from them....Their abilities are regarded as top-notch in all village circles...wouldn't want to make em enemies..." Arashi would keep up with Kazuto as she spoke, keeping her Sand gourd close to her back as she adjusted the strap that laid across her chest. With them being in the Whirlpool country, it wasn't as if she had any real sand to work with outside of her own supply. Though, if the worst came to pass, she did make sure to bring something else to cover for her lack. Though she hoped it didn't come to that. "The clan had made itself a clear presence within the world, and many saw them as a clear threat that needed destruction...not the best start to a relationship, but not everyone was keen on that idea...sadly not enough support was there to protect places like this...and many others I'm sure..." It reminded her of the ruins back home, though at least theirs still could be used for something. This temple..or what was left of it, was hollow and holding only memories of the past. Sadly, she wasn't fluent enough with the language to state just what they meant. Though she did recognize one reoccurring symbol that seemed to line the walls as well, one matching that of the Senju. "Guess we won't really know anythin till they dive in..." With her brief stop now over, hand resting upon her hip as she continued to examine the wall, the young female would soon continue her stride toward the tent, seeing more of the research team beginning their own assignments and construction of their means to proceed forward. Arashi almost felt blown away at the devices and tools she could see placed out, a blank expression crossing her face before proceeding behind Kazuto as they were greeted by one of these individuals. It appeared that their mission was underway, but the older male seemed confident that perhaps they would not need two shinobi guards after all with the state of the site appearing intact. Holding a blank expression, Arashi would cross her arms over her chest as she raised her brow. "Maybe...but even if it is...it couldn't hurt to have us stick around...not to mention that there is still the chance that no matter how stable it might be on the outside, further investigation might cause it all the collapse..." "She's right." Kazuto said as he stepped next to Arashi, crossing his arms before his chest. "There's much here that could be learned from just the walls, just that might be an alluring morsel of information that can attract unwanted parties, if we put that in perspective of what you wish to find, then the danger is exponentially increased." He thought that such was something that was without saying. After all there were many great dangers and treasures beneath their feet under tons of rubble and ground and rock. "If that happens, then you may as well be in danger and whatever artifacts you lose will cause the ire of the Uzumaki clan." Although Kazuto spoke about the anger that such would cause the brother clan of his, he doubted that they were the sort of individuals to fall into rage at the lost of so many precious artifacts as they were scattered like ashes in the wind, although they would certainly lament the loss of ancient scrolls that might enable them to piece together the history of their clan and not rely so much on the records that the Senju kept in the clan library. "We will stay as long as we believe there is danger, that is not negotiable." He added and a murmur emerged among the researchers as they came into a reluctant agreement. "Fine." The lead researcher would finally concede and look at them with some apprehension displayed on his features. "Shall we prepare a tent for you two... Since you would be staying with us?" The Senju regarded the man and shrugged, he was so used to sleeping outside during missions that he didn't care, he would just find a branch, pulling his hood and closing his eyes, he imagined that there was a similar situation for Arashi, although if she wanted to have her own private quarters would be fine to him as well. "Thank you, but before we assign living spaces we have to set up a few rules." The Senju would walk towards the table, overlooking at the excavation map and pressing his finger at the sole entrance and exist to the site. "This is the only entrance and exit, all workers, all researchers will tell their direct superior where they are supposed to be and in turn Arashi and I will know where you are." He said and then he would point out locations that overlooked the ruins. "In addition Arashi and I will do sweeps around the site and maintain overwatch with shifts." He said as he stepped away looking at the Sand kunoichi before addressing the researchers again. "This is for your security. If everything goes well, then we won't bother you, as per the mission contract we're compelled to aid you in the excavation progress should you need our aid." He concluded before looking again at Arashi. "Would you like to add anything else, Arashi?"

It seemed that Kazuto and Arashi were in agreement on the chances still being high that they might very well run into a situation at some point. If not, that was all well and good too. As much as Arashi was a thrill seeker at heart, she'd prefer for this operation to be much quieter than the last one she had gone on. After all, it was less paper work and less concerns that she might end up getting into trouble if she had to bend a few rules. Not that the thought had come to her....sorta... As Kazuto began to explain just how they would all need to be cautious and that the two of them would be at their disposal if the need was required, a small glint in the girl's eyes showed at the thought of getting to work in this actual expedition. After all, how often did she get to be in an actual tomb with ancient Uzumaki language and descriptions? She felt like a kid looking over a selection of candy but tasked only to look at it and not explore it for herself. Of course, composure had to come first as the young woman would then blink as one of the researchers asked if they'd be requiring a tent for the two of them. That left a bit of a pause as the female was just about to object to the suggestion, though it appeared that the Senju had beaten her to it. Naturally, Arashi really didn't require too much rest these days. Of course, it was nice to have when she could get it. Not to mention that the girl had spent so much time awake during full moons that she was used to not getting any at all. Though if need be, she could simply find some corner and lay out a mat to rest upon as she laid out a defensive web of dust to alert her if something went amiss. But it appeared that such thinking was going too far ahead, Kazuto going forth to explain the rules of this arrangement. They were to remain in contact with their superiors and those superiors were to alert the two of them if something was amiss. They had to check in regularly so that both of them would know where these people were at all times, while they would also do regular sweeps of the area during each shift. At the mention that this was for their own security, the hazel eyed female would nod in agreement, her hand resting in her pocket as she leaned slightly upon her hip. When asked if she had anything else to add, the girl would hold a calm expression as she closed her eyes. "Naturally, we aren't tryin to interfere with any of your operations, but if ya see somethin that is amiss and either of us are nearby, alert us and we will look into it. Common sense is just as important on your part as it is ours. Do not do anything dangerous or reckless that could endanger yourselves without one of us there to assist. We're here to do the risk takin so ya don't have to..." In saying this, the girl would then shurg as she opened her eyes while lookin over at Kazuto with a blank expression. Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

Time passed by slowly as Kazuto and Arashi began their sweep around the old decrepit temple. For the first few hours nothing of note happened as the sun continued its descent. Shadows in the dark would watch as Arashi passed the back of the temple before approaching one of the ruined walls. Placing explosive seals in various designated locations, the thieves would move back a safe distance and wait a few moments before proccing the explosion, causing a loud sound to emanate from the area. If the main entrance was guarded, then they would make their own.

Blowing an opening in an already ruined and crumbling temple was not their first plan, but they would have to make do with what they had. Currently Arashi was closer to the explosion than Kazuto, who was all the way at the main entrance, protecting the workers there. It wasn’t completely dark yet, but it was getting hard to see and shadows would begin to stretch ominously from the rubble and trees. As smoke filtered through the area, shadows would rush on through the new opening and begin their search. Time was of the essence.

Near the main entrance, the researchers and archeologists would begin to look around nervously as they searched for the cause of the explosion. Rubbing his glasses with a rag, the older researcher would turn towards Kazuto.

"Shouldn’t you be trying to deal with that? Our research will be hindered if the site doesn’t remain intact as it is now. More explosions like that and the whole temple could come crumbling down! Did your partner trigger a trap or something?”

Staring towards the entrance, the older researcher wondered if he should call back the team that was already in the temple. If Arashi just triggered a trap it would be a waste of time, but if it was something more, then his companions would be in danger. But if he pulled them out now, he risked them losing out on relics that they could study. Hesitating for a moment, he waited to see what Kazuto would do.

The explosion would turn him away from his guard, his flesh still feeling the reverberations of the explosion as his eyes would narrow at the sight of the raising column of smoke and dust derived by the blast. As lead researcher would come to him and lay his complaints the Senju turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "Why would she?" He asked the man. "She can raise rubble with her sand, she can find passages without having to use explosives." Kazuto explained before focusing on the explosion. It was in the back of the excavation, away from the main entrance and that didn't sit with him well. "Arashi." He said as he reached for the radio about neck. "If you have any technique to sense individuals use it now, I need a count of individuals in the excavation. A clone is incoming to inspect the blast area. Hold your position." He added, weaving a string of hand signs as his chakra was stirred and with it tendrils emerged from his body, coalescing into a living mass that quickly took a humanoid shape and until a facsimile of him stood next to him, the skin lightening until it has assumed the same tonality of his, the eyes opening to reveal the same verdant green of its creator. With a nod the clone would leave, and jump from hut to pillar and so on until it would reach the epicenter of the blast and hopefully whoever had made it. "Tell your people to continue working as if this was a planned development. If there's anyone close to that area discreetly send workers to recall them, tell them you found something in a mural and need their help and expertise." Kazuto commanded, arms crossing over his chest as he awaited to hear from Arashi of the count of people within the excavation and the ruined temple to find a discrepancy in numbers, hoping that his had been a mistake by a worker or a archeologist wishing for more glory than their counterparts.

DESCRIPTION:
A clone that is created by altering the user's own cells with chakra with the 'tiger,' 'dog,' and 'snake' seals. It has more endurance than the normal shadow clones and doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' attacks. Moreover, since it has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. They have the ability to travel far distances from the user and are able to communicate with the original. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique.

The basic concept of the Shadow Clone Technique also applies to the Wood Clone Technique. However, the chakra-composed shadow clone and the cell-based wood clone are completely distinct techniques. By directly touching the wood clone with their hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered or change the shape of the clone. Because clone is made up of the user's own cells, transformed into vegetation when it is changed into a seed and ingested into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a transmission device of sorts.

"Guess I'm not the only one that heard and felt that right?" Responding to the radio in her ear, Arashi was already making her way back to her previous position, having only just made the sweep to the back of the temple. She didn't imagine that the researchers would need to use explosives so soon into their dig, but then she wasn't exactly an expert in these sort of things. Perhaps they had come across a wall or required to move in closer to a certain area. "Or...someone just blew a hole in the wall of the priceless Uzumaki temple...great..." Looking at the debris as she stood close to it, her eyes would scan the area as she waved her hand of the smoke that seemed to cover the scene. Something was definitely off, and as she allowed her nose to take a whiff, she could gather that there were individuals within the newly created opening, and it was more than just one strangler. "I got multiple people that just moved into the temple from the back...so either someone workin extra hard or we got unexpected guests..." Waving her hand into the air, Arashi would summon the sand from her gourd into action, the mass drifting upward as though it were a snake before surging into the open as though it were in pursuit. As the teen continued beginning her scan, she'd hear the order of her to remain in position as a clone was to meet her, prompting her fingertips to rest back of the receiver in her left ear. "Roger that...I'll be here..." Crossing her arms over her chest, the Sunagakure nin would continue to let her sand flow out, their trail much like a light haze as it drifted into the air and inside of the temple. "If anythin else...they sure as hell aren't worried much about a collapse..." SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range. Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This sensing sand can be spread across a wide terrain of 100 feet, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be detected for an extended range of 150 feet due to it's lack of being stationary. Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

Scratching his chin and nodding his head, the lead researcher pulled one of his subordinates to the side and whispered to him his orders. Nodding his head, the younger male headed into the temple to warn the others discreetly. Coughing a little to air out of his throat, the lead researcher addressed the rest of the group.

"Continue on working everyone. This was a planned development, so there’s nothing to worry about. We still have more artifacts to uncover so keep working!”

Hearing an explanation for the noise, the other researchers continued with what they were previously doing. If their boss said everything was okay, then it probably was. As Kazuto watched the group with crossed arms, his clone eventually made it to where Arashi was and waited for her next move.

As Arashi sniffed the air, she would notice the scents of up to eight people. However only half of the scents would actually emanate from the hole, with the other half disappearing towards the front of the temple. It seemed that the group of intruders had split up.

Drifting upwards lazily, Arashi's sand would spin with flourish before entering the newly created hole. It wouldn’t take long before the sand encountered the bodies of four individuals. And judging from their body shape, it was a pair of two men and two women each, currently moving at a fast but quiet pace. Located further ahead of the group, the sand would notice two researchers crouched down next to an artifact. It wouldn’t be long until the two groups met.

Kazuto observed the situation, his eyes on the lead researchers as he would begin to give orders to the diggers and other experts that were attached to the dig site. He heard the voice of man stammering to his subordinates and life carried on as the shown of shovels, pickaxes and men and women working carried on. Unease began to crept as he looked at the raising column of smoke from the explosion, the figure of his clone becoming more and more faint as it would reach Arashi. His sight turned to the man, the head researcher and thought it was for the best to start tying some loose ends. "Excuse me, sir?" He called the lead researcher, his tone becoming conciliatory, less commanding, almost familiar in the way he addressed the man, trying to convey a semblance of relaxation, a small relief and breath of what was going on, albeit one caused by external factors, although whether he believed it or not was another matter, what he wanted to know he would get either by the man telling him or by making an extrapolation. "I would like to know if you have worked with any of these men and women before? The paperwork your organization provided didn't detail if there was an unexpected change, but you seem like a family. No sudden last minute change substitutions?" Kazuto asked, reading the man's every last movement, every contraction of his muscles of his face, movement of his hands, reactions, anything that could tell him that he wasn't being told the truth. -- The clone meanwhile continued the orders that it had been given, hopping from tent to tent until it landed next to Arashi with a thud. The facsimile would listen look at her and stand by. "What is the situation?" It asked as it would begin to weave hand signs and prepared to get into the whole that had been made on one of the walls of the ruins, big enough for someone to go in, but still insignificant enough to hold the weight of the building without collapsing. "We got any stragglers inside?"

Closing one eye, a third would appear upon her forehead as she allowed a new one to form close to the two researchers as it settled into position near them. So far, they appeared to be alone, yet with the four moving targets headed to their position, that was likely to change soon. Before long, Kazuto's double would appear at her side, seeming to ask what the situation was before Arashi would rescind her artificial eye away, allowing her to now look upon the copy with both her natural ones. "We have eight strangers moving around the ruins. One group of four has already entered the hole in the wall and four others are at least close to the front entrance...we also have two researchers further in and will likely be having company in a matter of movements at their current pace..." Arashi would cross her arms over her chest, a frown crossing her lips as she hated waiting around while this was happening. It felt like she was standing on her heels, just allowing this to happen without so much as a moment to do anything. If she had her way, she might have already been down there dealing with this, but then, this was a matter of judging just what to expect. While she had gotten some sight into the researchers, she had no idea about the ones coming after them, leading to a very large mystery. There were also the group that was making it's way in the front. "So basically....four in four out, two non-combatants and a weak building...hella combo..." As it looked like the clone was going to make it's way in, Arashi would sigh as she then spoke into the mic in her ear once again. "How ya wanna do this? I can go in and secure the area with your clone or face off against the intruders at the entrance. Either way, someone gotta get in there before those guys get caught off guard and I can only do so much with limited sight..." Arashi was good, but she wasn't perfect. Granted, she could easily manipulate what sand was already in there and make it work to her advantage, but the moment that they realized this, that surprise would be over. She could create a double of her own to work with the clone, yet with four targets inside, it would only amount to just two of them being taken out with the off-chance that their clones wouldn't be able to handle it. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. "I worked with most of them except for two newcomers I brought on. Supposedly they excel in ruins such as these and since I’m not one to push away talent, I welcomed them in. Why?”

Scratching his head, the researcher would give Kazuto a confused look. It seemed that he wasn’t sure why his hired help was asking him these types of questions when he should be out there guarding. And while he appreciated the help in guarding the ruins, his eyes began to narrow as he thought longer about Kazuto’s words and what they implied. What his guard was alluding to wasn’t pleasant, not at all.

As the two conversed, shadows would begin to gather on the outskirts of the forest in front of the temple. So far they would stay hidden in the trees a few meters away from the entrance, observing the group. Their time to act was coming close, but not just yet.

The four man group inside would stop at key places inside the temple, looking for anything of value. Their search wouldn’t be too fruitful, seeing as how a big chunk of artifacts the researchers had already discovered and brought back with them. The thieves weren’t too concerned though, seeing as how they planned on relieving the researchers of their artifacts. All they had to do was find them first. And judging from the sound coming from up ahead, they wouldn’t have to wait that long.

Arashi’s sand eye would see the two researchers huddled over a piece of a wall inscribed with fuinjutsu. It couldn’t hear them, but based on their body movements it seemed that they were arguing. Behind them was a dark hallway where the thieves would be approaching from. But so far all the eye would see was darkness in that direction.

"Just curiosity... merely a formality of my assignment." Kazuto told the man with the same familiar and more approachable tone of before. He noted that nothing that he had been told was a lie. The man had simply being doing his job and when replacements had needed to be found he did his best into finding them by filling the slots with new individuals. Yet the circumstances seemed to be rather suspect, after all the timing had been something convenient to find new replacements. Looking at the lead researcher he would grand the man a reassuring smile before turning his head towards the entrance of the dig sit. "I usually take a chance to meet my charges, although you've all been spread... Would you perchance tell me their names? I believe you vouch for the people you own, I would just like to know the newcomers better." Kazuto said encouraging, relaxing his attention on the man before turning returning some of his attention to the entrance, eyes narrowing before he heard Arashi's voice in his ear requesting permission to advance. He had front covered for sure, now they needed to funnel whoever was inside the ruins. "Green light, Arashi. Nice and Easy." Kazuto replied, telling her to go ahead and advance carefully, a hand subtlety waving a hand seal behind his back. --- The clone heard the voice from his creator and would nod towards Arashi, bringing his left index finger to its mouth and then to his ear, telling the young woman that they would use hand signs to communicate from now on. Flexing fingers and contracting to tell her that it would go first and the should follow in case he flushed out the two stragglers. If what Arashi had told it was correct then it meant that there were two individuals inside who had met with whoever had blown the whole, his hand seals would begin to weave their own set of hand signs in preparation as he would begin moving into the breach.

Though her Third eye didn't permit her to hearing the conversation she had witnessed, it did at least give her the insight to viewing that their talk wasn't exactly going well. The two appeared to have been in debate over what looked to be a piece upon the wall. It was inscribed, naturally, though the symbols and pattern were very much a reflection of Fuinjutsu. A technique? Or perhaps it was a means to open something further into the temple? Guess their tryin to figure that out too...too bad they might not get the chance... Arashi would seem to get the okay to move in, though the message seemed to instruct caution as she raised her brow toward the motion of the wooden double, her expression blank as she held her hand up to her ear as she watched it's finger rest upon their lips. "Righttttttt....copy that..." Her hand resting upon her hip, she'd soon release a breath before then gesturing toward the hole in the wall as she began to proceed inside. There were many ways in which for her to travel forward, one being in a less than physical form. It would certainly cut off some time of moving through here and perhaps even save her from perhaps running into any traps or ruining something in this priceless place. Of course, that still would leave the clone out in the dust. Replacing her free hand upon her side, she'd turn around to look over at the large figure before clicking her tongue. "Guess it's you and me Woody...mind if I call ya that? Since ya know? Ya being a log and all? Not that theres anythin wrong with that...." A smirk crossed her lips as she shook her head. Honestly, despite her trying to take this seriously, old habits died hard. Proceeding inside, Arashi would narrow her gaze as she used her sense of smell to directly focus on the targets within. She caught their scent rather quickly, but that would at least give her a bit of reference on their position. If she wanted to get to them, she'd have to be quick about it. "Okay...lets go...down into the temple of the ancient clan of super sealers...what could go wrong?" Crouching low, she'd move in further, increasing her pace, yet still holding some sense of caution as to avoid any harm within this place. Still...Dad would love this place...it has so much history inside of it on every wall...each inch just screams of the Uzumaki...this is a dream come true... Being such a history buff in her own right, Arashi enjoyed the exploration part of this mission the most. Of course, the time for looking over everything had to wait until she secured the situation. Her path would soon enough bring her up the rear of the group, prompting her to take cover for a moment as she gestured her with hands to indicate directions to the copy of their position. Keeping her attention upon them, she'd soon begin to draw out her kunai. So far they weren't in the area of the researchers. But that would change soon enough. Might as well listen in...maybe get some idea of just what the hell brings em out here...probably just to loot..but who the hell are they? Arashi would continue to keep her distance, but would stick to the shadows as she continued to move after them silently.
