Yozora we are of the stars CLAN TYPE: kekkeigenkai CLAN ORIGIN: Takigakure CLAN RESIDENCE: Takigakure no Sato CLAN IDEOLOGY The Yozora are descendants of the stars and planets. Their gifts have been bestowed upon them by celestial bodies. Due to this belief, the Yozora hold the sun and the stars in high regard. They give thanks to the stars and pray to the sun for success. Since the Yozora believes themselves to be direct descendants of celestial bodies, they hold themselves above others. Outsiders are considered to be beneath them. and likewise, their kin are held to impossibly high standards. All Yozora are expected to honour the cosmos in all aspects of their lives. This means they must be seen as celestial beings to the commoners. Perfection is required from all, even the smallest of mistakes are seen as an affront to the cosmos. From a young age, the Yozora are taught to revere the night skies and develop a sense of deep responsibility towards the abilities they were given. In all aspects, the Yozora expect to be seen as untouchable gods. Charity is important to the Yozora. As a founding clan of Takigakure, they measure their success by the villages. If the village suffers, so do they. The common folk are seen as people who need guidance and assistance to achieve the enlightenment of the Yozora. The Yozora see themselves as their ethereal guides through the world. Meant to protect and lead them to prosperity. The Yozora who do not give their lives to the village are carefully indoctrinated until they have no other beliefs. CLAN HIERARCHY Everything in the cosmos revolves around another, all things answer to something or someone larger than themselves. The Yozora clan hierarchy is made of revolving families. The main family at the centre, a council of the most important families, with each family having its own branches. The Yozora clan can be divided into one central family, four revolving families, and varying smaller ones. The central family has the final say in all matters and decisions. They are seen as the centre of the universe for which all revolves around them. The four other families are a council of galaxies which give provide the central family with the council. These families represent the smaller families within their own. CLAN HISTORY At least a century before the founding of the Takigakure, the Yozora were a respectable clan amongst the powers of Bonchi no Kuni. Even then they saw themselves as protectors of people. They resided in a large compound near where Takigakure no Sato now stands. The Yozora were revered by the common folk for their protection and terrifying ability. They sought to bring peace in these early ages for their people. For the vast majority of their existence, before the unification of Takigakure, they remained neutral and peaceful unless provoked. They protected those loyal to them as the other clans of Bonchi no Kuni settled their own spats. The Yozora only found themselves in the midst of battle once or twice, decimating lesser clans that sought to grab more than they could carry. Beyond these small skirmishes, the Yozora sought to be exemplars of peace and prosperity. Only fighting when completely necessary. Naturally, the Yozora joined the Mikatakujira, the Yamakira, and the lesser clans in a unification. A show of peace amongst Bonchi no Kuni. The Yozora solidified themselves as one of the great founders of Takigakure. However, their arrogant attitudes made it hard to play nice with the other clans. Often only assisting further if it benefited them directly or if they could play the heroes of the situation. The Yozora fought to make their own leader the First Lord of Takigakure, but Yosaiyama has implanted herself on that throne and proved difficult to remove diplomatically. Instead, they conceded to the Mikatakujira. The greatest shame of the Yozora, one which remains to be remedied. In each war that followed after the unification of Takigakure, the Yozora gave their best soldiers and lent their abilities in any way they could. However, beyond the wars, the Yozora had remained neutral in any shiftings of power. Where they did not see an opening for themselves, they left to the others to decided. They remained always as a facet of Takigakure, focusing its resources on furthering the power of the country behind whoever led it. CLAN ABILITIES Uchuton | Cosmic Release The Yozora clan wields the powerful cosmic release. Known also as liquid fire, star fire, and plasma. A unique advanced element birthed from the mixture of fire, wind, and lightning chakra natures. By combining these natures the Yozora can create a highly compressed, and super-heated gas. Because of its volatile nature, control this element is extremely difficult and only masters of Uchuton are able to wield it on a large scale. Uchoton creates extreme levels of heat that rivals stars. The cosmos are the inspiration for many of the Yozora's techniques, such as creating minuscule stars with impressive power. Most Yozora manifest this ability in the form of super-heated orbs of energy often styled after celestial bodies. Being so volatile, the Yozora are able to implode these orbs, much like a star, turning their tiny orbs into large masses of heated energy. Uchuton requires a high level of chakra control in order to skillfully combine three chakra natures. These techniques are extremely taxing. and almost non-existent at lower ranks.
