Academy students are just barely beginning to dip their toes into the shinobi world. There is a lot to learn for these prospective soldiers, and when graduation is looming, the desire to learn and prove you're capable can be overwhelming! Where to start? Luckily, Yukigakure provides a host of lesson opportunities for students of all ages and ranks. Are you a student at the academy looking to brush up on culture, or just a Jonin looking to hone a particular skill? Either way, these training courses could be for you!

Scared Straight
DESCRIPTION:

This is a great training course to sign up for if you're interested in Yukigakure's carceral system, or a good day trip for a parent to send their rebellious genin on. Students in this course will board the train to Yukigakure's ominous prison. How deep they'll descend will depend on their rank, but they will be given the opportunity to see what fate waits for a criminal shinobi. They will speak to guards and prisoners alike and gain an opportunity to learn more about their village's systems!

Shadowing
DESCRIPTION:

Are you dissatisfied in your current post, or merely a young student uncertain what career path you would like to travel down? The Career Shadowing program allows shinobi of all ranks, but especially Academy Students, to choose a position to shadow for a day. Under the watchful eye of a fellow shinobi, student(s) will be allowed to watch what a day of work looks like for their peers.

Arctic Nights
DESCRIPTION:

One of the most important skills for a Yukigakure shinobi is the ability to survive in the wild. Freezing temperatures, dangerous storms, the possibility of being stranded in a blizzard- they are all very real concerns when it comes to working as one of the snow village's brave soldiers. This field trip sees course students going out into the wilderness for an extended camping trip, learning how to survive if they are ever in trouble.

For a slightly more advanced version of this training, a student can ask to be blindfolded and dropped off at a random location, then asked to make their way back home (while being carefully observed, of course).

Spelunking
DESCRIPTION:

Yuki no Kuni is dotted all over with caves that descend far into the earth. Sometimes missions will require travelling deep underground. While the ability to perform wall climbing can help save you in these situations, sometimes good old know-how is necessary for successful navigation. Students who enroll in this course will be taught how to traverse the caves beneath the nation as safely as possible.

Naval Novice
DESCRIPTION:

As an island nation, shinobi of Yukigakure are expected to take to sea quite often. While it's reasonable to rely on the captain of the ship while you're in the water, sometimes an emergency arises, and the shinobi in question needs to be capable of taking control of the situation. This training session will help students learn boating basics as well as survivalist tips for dealing with below zero water.

Watcher
DESCRIPTION:

Watchtowers all around Yuki no Kuni help to keep the nation and its people safe. Students in this course are sent out to the watchposts and learn what a day in the life of the people manning these beacons is like. They might even be able to join in on a rescue effort, or help report a crime to the proper authorities!

Boot Camp
DESCRIPTION:

An intensive and specific form of training wherein a student specifies a goal they would like to work towards. A temporary mentor is assigned and the two of them take a trip out to a remote location for a week of hardcore, personalized training. Strap in, you're going to leave your session a stronger soldier, whether you like it or not!

Silent Snow
DESCRIPTION:

Looking to hone your stealth capabilities? Sign up for this training to engage in a high pressure game of hide and seek in the wilds of Yuki no Kuni, obtaining real-time advice from a stealth master.
