EVENT description Background: Along the Nohara no Kuni and Bonchi no Kuni border, an earthquake has erupted, causing a great deal of damage and catastrophe to nearby civilian populations, but perhaps more concerning is a mysterious structure has arisen from the depths, a strange mish-mash of modern, yet also antiquated, design. Reports from nearby footmen detail horrific sounds emanating from the building's depths, and any search teams sent to investigate the inside either never return. A state of emergency has been called from both sides of the border: a temporary cessation of hostilities and a joint operation consisting of both Grass and Waterfall shinobi to enter this mysterious compound's depths, unearth the secrets held within, and then ensure that it is safe for future investigation. Rewards: Characters that remain until all objectives are completed will earn 300 xp. Characters that retreat will earn 150 xp.
