The perpetrators have not been seen and all that has been reported were that the raids happened at night and all the villagers can remember from them was odd floating balls flame moving into the village before blanking out. It wasn’t until the same thing happened to a passing noble and his traveling party during the day that Konoha was contacted and a team requested. Said team is tasked to investigate area and put a stop to the strange phenomena.
