More recently the Mizukage had been keeping her eyes not so much on Zaizen, but in other matters so Zaizen took this weakness on board and let himself have some time outside of the village's walls in order to do what he does best. Being alone and keeping focused on the task at hand, though Zaizen really had nothing to focus his mind on at the moment.

Zaizen for the moment found himself outside of the village just wondering about. You could class it as a patrol if one wanted to call it that, but it wasn't anything too intense if you could even call it that at walking pace. Nothing exciting had happened since Zaizen had been pardoned and had been allowed back in the village walls. Zaizen had been lucky to be alive, if it had been anyone else, he would have probably been killed on his surrender, though Zaizen had no cares when he had handed himself in as he purpose for why he was a missing-nin had been fulfilled. Instead Zaizen had to stay alive wondering, what else did life want to punish him for. Didn't it do enough by taking his son and wife away from him, when they had been killed.

What Zaizen needed right now was something else, another task in life to drive him forward. That could be a conflict, a fight perhaps, a role that would fit Zaizen's design. For now the man wondered the gloomy path set in front of him.

Upon finding her way onto the Mizu no Kuni island, Kazui would be met by a thick haze, mist covering almost everything. Some spots were worse than others, reaching the point where visibility became a backup sense to help navigate through it. She didn’t know exactly what she was expecting when she traveled, but the place was a lot worse than she imagined. "Geez Toru, you live in this depressing place? No wonder you act the way that you do.” Mumbling to herself for the most part as she continued to make her way through the paths.

Many saw the outsider as an unfamiliar face, and surely most tried to get to know her, not really caring too much about her origin as of now. However, there were a few who questioned her reasoning for being there as well as where she had come from, and she would simply tell them, "I’m just a traveler.” A simple and easy answer to their questions. While it was very vague, it was usually enough to suffice for the majority of strangers she ran into.

Nevertheless, she continued, her chakra infused and reached across a great distance - sensing all as she danced through the wood. After a while, the girl managed to come across a more..noticeable chakra signature. Though it was still an unknown signature, Kazui knew surely that the person was a shinobi, that or they had shinobi training. A sigh escaped her lips as she kept pushing onward towards the signature since they were bound to cross paths eventually. With each step leading her closer and closer until the fiery red hair was finally in sight, Kazui would lower her head as she walked, the straw hat covering her features as she activated her sharingan just in case, and with her cloak draped over her body, her hand would rest gently on her blade as she prepared to pass by the man.

The fog like haze that was often found around the land of Mizu no Kuni was pretty much a common theme nowadays. it was rare that it didn't appear in the lands of Mizu no Kuni. Though when days it was clear around, it could be classed as a bad day considering the people of Mizu no Kuni are used to colder weather conditions and misty conditions. Zaizen preferred the mist personally himself as he could remain hidden in the natural mist if he had to. Zaizen had not come across many on his patrol this far and had not even picked up anyone with his sensory ability either though, Zaizen was using a pretty uncommon travel path only known by people not wanting to be found easy.

As he continued down the winding path in Mizu no Kuni, Zaizen would suddenly stop moving for a second as he picked up a chakra signature a little distance in front of him. Zaizen didn't really change his stance or change how he moved forward. The single chakra signature he had picked up in front of him didn't seem to be picking up pace either so there was no need for Zaizen to really act any different in this situation. Though always a cautious man, Zaizen was always ready to move at an instance. Then the cloaked fiqure appear before Zaizen most of the person's features were covered, but they were much smaller in stature to Zaizen. While he couldn't assume gender or age as he couldn't see anything. The person crossing paths with Zaizen seemed to be cautious as they seemed to keep their head down on purpose and seemed more cautious than Zaizen was right now. As he passed the cloaked person he stopped a little distance behind them. A familiar feeling from his sensory skills was telling him something about the cloaked figure. The familiar feeling of that time when he found out his sons killer. Right now from his sensory he was picking up the same feeling konohagakure. Had this person come for Zaizen in revenge of there own. " Konohagakure...." Zaizen simply said before gritting his teeth at the thought of the village in his mind, he had a long hatred for the village for the role they played in his sons death, thoughts about the past coming to haunt Zaizen's complex mind. Though he didn't hate Konohagakure shinobi, it was more the village as a whole. "You are from Konohagakure are you not? " Zaizen simply asked the hooded figure behind him, he already knew the answer to his own question. He just simply wanted to give the person a chance to decide if they wanted an early grave or not. If they had come in revenge for Zaizen's past or could just be a random chance of meeting a Konoha shinobi far away from home. If they had ties to the village or not remained to be seen.

While her intention was to remain unseen and unbothered, Kazui did not divert from the path that she was taking despite the fact that there was a much larger figure standing before her. Each step bringing the two closer to one another, her heart began to race for a bit before her nerves eventually calmed…she was Kazui, of the Uchiha clan, she knew not the concept of fear. Gritting her teeth slightly, the girl would push forward. His chakra was heavy…dense, it was clear that whoever the person may have been had an air of notoriety surrounding their name and their existence as a whole.

Her head lowered as she continued on, passing directly past them, Kazui would breath easy .. just only for a second however. Once the girl believed that the person had no interest in her, she would sigh and look up, her eyes watching the path ahead of her before a voice suddenly called out. "Konohagakure?”

What?

In her mind, the girl panicked, did she still have her konohagakure headband on? Of course not..she had given that back to the Senju in which it belonged. Then how?? How did he…. Without much hesitation the girl would turn around, her eyes fiery red as she looked over the figure. "What about it?” She asked with her soft spoken tone.

"I haven’t been to Konohagakure in months…I’d hesitate to call that my home now…but yes.” The girl took a pause before turning back towards her original path. She had no interest in the person behind her nor did she have time to sit and have meaningless conversation. She wanted to tell the guy to beat it, but she held her tongue since there was no true reason for her to be so rude to a stranger. A few steps carried her forward before she eventually brought herself to another stop. There was a long pause, her thoughts ran rapidly as she sensed his chakra yet again. On second thought, there was one thing that interested her. His mysteriousness.

It was the way her chakra spoke to Zaizen that he was able to tell where this girl had been originally from, it had been part of Zaizen's sensory in able to be able to pick that up in people. At one point or another this girl before him had been a Konohagakure shinobi, but he couldn't tell when that was or how long it had been. Though from her appearance with her covered head and body it seemed it couldn't have been super long ago. Zaizen didn't move or flinch from his spot as he tried to take in the best he could of the girls appearance and body language though all Zaizen was feeling even with her talking is confusion and more questions which had been clear now with her response to him. Honestly Zaizen finding Kazai on the path like this could be considered bad luck if you were to describe it into words. The chances of them probably meeting after today was also likely to be slim to none, but it seemed that fate had brought them together for whatever the reason that maybe. With her talking she had pretty much confirmed she had been a Konoha shinobi, but that also confirmed to Zaizen that she was likely a missing-ninja, it didn't make sense really to have not have been home in months and could only leave the one outcome in that this girl is a missing ninja. While you could argue she could be out on a mission or something travelling into lands that are considered off limits to Konoha shinobi seems a little reckless so Zaizen went with the reasoning she was a missing ninja as his logical choice.

"It was your chakra more than anything it said to me you are originally from Konoha. Though you have pretty much confirmed that for me without having to delve deeper into it." Zaizen had said she had pretty much told him about herself without actually having to say it. He paused for a second before he continued to speak a once again.

" I think you are on the run from Konoha. It doesn't make sense for a Konoha shinobi to be in the land of water, or to be away from the village for months. So I personally think you are a missing-ninja just from my own deductions. " Zaizen had said from his lips. Reading Zaizen was like trying to read a book as his face was mostly covered by his mask and the man was often emotionless.

" My name is Sourei Zaizen of the mist. I'm the hunter-nin captain. " Zaizen could engage this girl but what would be the point of it, in a sense of the word the villages are at odds with one another and the girl's allegiance is no longer with the village of her birth. Zaizen could waste time in capturing her, but for what cost it was just more time wasted if anything and would likely just put her down if he did anyway. His objective here would be to talk with the girl and maybe find out her goals or something else entirely. Zaizen again while he hated Konoha, he had no ill intentions towards this girl, he could relate to her as Zaizen himself used to be a missing nin so he knew fine well the life that it involved and it was hard.
