Smooth and perfect plans for Ayato wasn’t quite the same way of thought for the Kuronmeru, though in his defense she rarely thought of anything as perfect or smooth… The girl blushed through embarrassment as his sly meanings yet still stood near him to mostly relent towards what his plans had been suggested towards. It hadn’t sounded bad… A little forward perhaps? And more free than she should have contemplated a prisoner like him being allowed to do.. But Suzuku was well beyond a normal relationship of captor and captive anymore.

But off they’d go. Comment on shopping for their relaxing time, even though she knew that’s what he wanted, made her blush all the harder. Her hand was squeezed and she felt herself shake. It was all a little much… but as long as they took it slow.

Which they mostly did. Despite his eagerness to continue, they hadn’t walked too hard or fast. A shop seemed to be his goal, one that was probably a little higher end for a village such as this… but perhaps tourism played a large part in them both being inviting and offering high quality sales. Rather than simply enter though, he’d bring up a suggestion.

A tilt of her head, trying to wrap her thoughts around his question, though the girl’s trembling lip hinted towards that continued uncertainty.

"As in… water attire…? I-I… suppose… I can try to find you something…? Unless you’re more comfortable b-being in control of both.”

It wasn’t expression approval of him finding hers, but she had mostly given up on that thought anyway. She didn’t quite mind if someone put large input into her outfit, she wasn’t the most shy of women even by virtue of her normally lovely yet not exceptionally convenient shinobi attire. Still, voice was quite. Relenting and uncertain, but it seemed he’d get what he wanted, whatever way that was.

He was overjoyed at the reactions he seemed to receive from Suzuku. Seeing her peach-rose skin turn darker with a blush struck the Nuke in a way that made him forget who he was. It just filled his head with a time of peace and serenity. He wasn't quite sure how he got here but even after all that nightmarish chaos and that hell of a life, everything leading to this moment kinda felt natural. Like he was meant to be here, even after all the horrible things done and the things that have happened to him. But, he wondered what'd happen next; both Arizo and Minako wanted to kill him, he was still a captive on a kill switch, he just wasn't sure even if this reprieve was in his story if there was going to be a happy ending.

Once Ayato paused to throw a suggestion in the air, Suzuku made a tilt of her head. Of course, she questioned the subject, and like always, she was a bit uncertain of the part suggested to her. In truth, he didn't want to pick out his own shorts. He had a tendency to gravitate to the same type of shorts he has worn for years, it was time he wore something at least kind of different, and who better to make that choice than Suzuku?

"Yeah, pick out something you either like to see me in or think suits me. I'll do the same for you." Ayato nudged her to and through the entrance. He didn't want to and unless she insisted on being with him, he reluctantly let go. "We'll meet at the checkout. That way, we can't say no to the others' pick, sounds like a fun challenge in my opinion. I'll be back soon~" He said as he slowly started walking to the woman's section, specifically the swimwear. Even if Suzuku was still following him, he didn't particularly slow down his search.

He was actually putting thought into the decision, from size to bust maximum down to feeling the fabric that he'd believe would be comfortable to Suzuku. The man scanned the selections available and smiled when his eyes finally laid on a specific piece of nylon and elastane, whatever the hell was that. It felt smooth to the touch due to the fabric composition, the body wraparound and the main bikini set were both a sleek black. Against Suzuku's skin, Ayato thought it would look great. With the article of clothing selected and the price thoroughly ignored, the Nakamura made his way to the checkout, if Suzuku didn't call/drag him across the store.

Hopefully, it was an easy, simple transaction. He really wanted to see her in this bikini.

His former - and current - state of paranoia required him to adapt to escape his pursuers. Having a tiny sliver of a Sharingan physiology, Ayato's one eye adapted a new evolutionary feature that proved to aid him. He was able to focus on details a regular person may miss. Unlike the real deal which would have given him extreme abilities, Ayato's experimented eye only allows for enhanced attention to more detail. He may see his pursuers from afar, even from a sole mile away if he looks there. His new sight does not give him any precognitive visuals, nor can it create jutsu. It can only grant him an eerie look, and hawk-like vision in one eye. Because it only affects the mutated left eye, he needs to close his right eye to see farther, if he does not, his vision may scramble to the point of neigh-blindness, Only if he is paying attention to details at close range (10-15 feet) can he have both eyes open.

Special Ability #4 - Silent Killing
Being a former hunter nin, Ayato had to master the art of Silent Killing in order to be successful in his missions. Ayato showed much promise in his trade despite utilizing a flashy jutsu. He earned the nickname "prototype" due to his foreign-yet-successful assassination techniques. Because of this, he moves as soft as a ghost, capable of taking multiple targets out without making a noise. Despite his great skill, he's human, which leaves room for error. (However, he has not given himself away too early as of yet.)

It was an odd assignment as far as she was concerned… She didn’t know what to dress people in? It wasn’t like her family or clan ever offered some sort of relationship where fashion advice was needed. The thought was actually laughable… But he seemed rather excited about it, nudging her into the store as if it was a done deal and one of the most fantastic things to have been suggested.

Instructions were given right before he started off, the girl wide eyed as she watched him go so casually. They’d meet back at checkout…? Then a little bit of anxiety burned in her chest. Why would she want to say no to his pick…? Or perhaps it was a suggestion she’d make a terrible pick… Unsure and hesitating, the young woman glanced around the store to get her mind wrapped around the layout before taking a few steps. Deciding on the direction, heading towards the appropriate men’s section, and then subtle hands and touches sifting through things she contemplated as something worthwhile…

In the end she really had no idea. What was comfortable on men or what they might typically wear… she wasn’t sure what was stylish swimwear or what was only for show… The woman’s lips pursed and golden eyes practically trembling as she looked over suit after suit. In the end… choosing one. She didn’t know if it was good, but it seemed so. Flexible, comfortable to the touch, fitting colors she assumed for him, and a sleek yet simple design… Red, black, and small hints of white…


And then back to the front. Ayato was already there waiting and it made her pace quicken some… Hurrying a bit, heels tacking across the floor, and just a little more pale than usual when she would have found herself near him.

"I-i.. assume you g-got what you want?”

For her. Got for her. Gripping the suit she got him a little tighter, she’d start to shift towards the counter where a clerk waited, setting down her item and a hand shakily waved Ayato’s way.

"I-if we could g-get these two. P-please…”

Trembling and going to pay, she hadn’t even fully inspected his choice, just simply went with it, for that was more or less the point as she had assumed it. Transaction to be simple enough and parting greetings given simply, she’d have turned in towards him and given a little exhausted sigh.

This was easily the greatest idea the Nuke had, well, second greatest, but publically greatest. Sure, Suzuku may have had doubts and is probably terrified of what would happen if this crazy, little game kept going, but that was the fun, wasn't it? Maybe it was his mind morphed by the state of his existence or maybe it was morphed by grandiose infatuation. Regardless of what it was, Ayato made his way to pick out what he thought would be the best outfit for Suzuku. He tried to take careful measures both of how it'd look and how'd it feel, it was understandable why picking a woman's outfit, in this case, swimwear was so much more meticulous. Attention was needed to how the wear appeared, how'd it feel, and how it would fit. The holy trifecta of clothes shopping. Whereas Suzuku was looking at does it fit?

As mentally unstable and twisted Ayato was deemed to be, he was very simple and less complex than what he's made out to be. So much so, he was given freedom, well, limited freedom under the supervision of Suzuku. He arrived at the front checkout and upon noticing Suzuku hastened her pace towards him, a smile crept on his face. upon being asked if he got what he wanted for her, Ayato simply nodded his head with glee as Suzuku initiated the transaction process. Her fearful stuttering had returned and with a small gesture for him to add his pick for the checkout, he did so but not before he took the time to drag his finger up the Kunoichi's mid-finger across her hand.

He truly hoped the gesture helped ground and calm her but he never did it out of the thought of her being incapable, but with the intent to help calm her. It being perceived as that was up in the air and could easily be pegged as a simple unnecessary and no purpose habit. Ayato couldn't read minds, but he wish he could read Suzuku's. After the purchase was completed, she turned toward him, asking the question of when. "Two choices again... We could show each other now or we can wait till we go change and see it for ourselves there." It was a very simple choice and even though it was his idea, he wanted her to have just as much say in the matter as he.

She wasn't always that bold though.
