Ayato knew she was in charge of him, but, rarely has she ever used him on her own personal missions, it made sense though as she was given ownership of him, she could do as she pleased. Due to her comfortability with him, and the fact he was still who he was, much like training, Suzuku called all the shots, keeping him on a short leash while leaving the hardest of manual tasks to him. Much like their sample collection missions, she was given the assignment to take out growing bandit forces located in Aka Tenshukaku. With so little known and the stakes higher than what seemed right for a Chūnin to be assigned to, Ayato was actually grateful she took him along in the event things turned for the worst. Honestly, it would have had the village knew some of these criminals had some shinobi training or skills, he was no guardian angel but having an 'ex-convict' take out other criminals meant Ayato could cut loose under her command. This was one of the few times he was grateful to be on a leash, it gave him an excuse to protect her, not that he needs one but it was necessary for getting out of the village for something only slightly different from hunting.

While the mission itself was relatively done a lot quicker than what was expected, Ayato wanted to take a detour on the way back. "Please, Suzuku? We barely have gone out far from the village before for anything other than hunting nukes, let's take this opportunity to just stop, relax, just take a break from all the stress and hiding waiting back home." The man attempted to rationalize, thinking of where to go at. "We could go to one of those bathhouse/inn things, just relax, unwind. What do you say, Suzu? I think it'll be nice!"

The answer had been ‘no.’ Countless times she had shuddered and hesitated, trembling lips finally uttering the denial to his request. They had a mission that had been completed, her assignment one she had brought him on to further test his skills, keep him healthy, and then return back successful. As much as it might have seemed like a good idea to give the village an idea of what could be done with such prisoners, it wasn’t as if their situation was broadcasted… Ayato was dangerous, had been dangerous for years, and the judgement that would fall upon them should they step too far out of line would be disastrous.

So when he wanted to play around? The nervous Chūnin would always answer ‘no.’ And she intended to continue on doing so. It cost money. It wasn’t safe. What if shinobi from Kirigakure noted their location. Endless fears and questions and concerns would flit through her mind at any given moment, exhausting her with every step…

Which would be how she agreed. Their continued path back with a disappointed Ayato and the ‘resolute’ Suzuku would have found its tripping point. Their travel might have been more leisurely than a rush towards their mission, but even in those slower steps she didn’t realize how worn out she was getting from it all, a danger for a medic but a terrible thing for one with her blood. Exact and specific knowledge of her own body was essential and yet…

She lost her footing, her mind growing hazy a moment and falling to the side without the girl even reacting to catch herself. It all happened too quickly for her mind to keep up, the way the world tilted and things fell away.

Not that she’d strike the ground. Her companion one to scoop up every opportunity such as this would have come to her rescue in one way or another, keeping Suzuku from harm and the slightly shaking girl’s body would be secured once more. With a shameful bow of her head as she leaned a bit more into him and gave the smallest of nods.

"O-okay… let’s find a place…”

She needed to get her blood under control and her body back in complete working order… so a few hours encouraging bloodflow with warm waters, food, and rest would be good. A weak attempt to convince herself, but at that point there was some worry regardless that if Ayato would have tried to shift to his criminal mindset and disobey her word anyway, she was hardly in any shape to stand against him. She was his keeper, afterall.

Suzuku appeared super serious, Ayato didn't understand why; yet, her initial composure appeared like she wanted to put her foot on the ground and use her blood to control him... again. She already used the technique multiple times prior, both to keep him at bay. He recalled her using it to slow him to her speed, and another to almost completely disarm him in front of the Mizukage and her damned cousin. The Nuke nin liked to think he understood her in-and-out like a book, but honestly, he didn't truly know too much about her besides what she revealed to him. The difference in ability he knew frightened her, he wasn't fond of it. He hated causing any ill-feeling in her against him but despite growing more closer, the man suspected she still had some suppressed. It honestly made his questioning/pleading a gamble. Ayato didn't dare stray too far from Suzuku, he only ever did to protect her, even when protecting himself, the wasn't any incident without her crossing his mind. How'd he let himself get so attached was a passing thought, but if fate brought them together twice, he wasn't going to ignore it, even if it was just a coincidence. She must've enjoyed saying she owned him and despite literally owning him, Ayato had started to interpret it differently, and of course, made him fall further for her.

He couldn't forget that night, not that he would want to, to him, it looked like things were getting brighter for the two. Around her, solely her, he began to see color in his bleak world, and with stakes high against his life, he wanted to enjoy as much as he could with Suzuku by his side. He began to notice her composure fade, even her losing her footing. Ayato did not need to go far at all, he was already in close proximity but that didn't mean he didn't rush to her side. The nuke caught the petite Chūnin, arms wrapped around her as he held her against his chest, ensuring she did not fall over hard or far. He could help steady her and that was what he did. The close contact did speed the beat of his heart, but he didn't care about that, only of her safety at the time. Her words listened with intent, she agreed to the idea. He was happy she agreed but concerned greatly about her, he hasn't seen this type of exhaustion in recent memory. It looked strange, he gripped Suzuku's hand, gently placing his fingers between hers.

"I think there's a place around that crossroad we passed on the way here we can go, well, it looks more like a small town but I notice mist from hot springs cause, well, we live in Kiri. Think you can walk there or would you like me to carry you, Suzuku?" Ayato stated in a calm voice, still holding to her, but loosening his grip in the event she wants to walk there, or simply have an arm holding onto him. The latter may hurt her pride but Ayato doesn't care about that, as long as she was safe. While the Nuke did have ulterior motives for where he chose, all that mattered was getting her there safely. Ayato did wonder how she would like to be carried if she chose that, everything Ayato planned for was meticulous. Those plans don't include fights, only about Suzuku. She deserved his best, something he can admit isn't always there, but the Nuke has never tried so hard for anything else in his life.

It was far from the preferred ways to do things, Suzuku would have rathered they continue on home with herself feeling fine and him in a controlled tow. Unfortunately.. She must not have been paying careful attention to herself? An oddity for sure for the medic as such a thing was essential for those of their clan and to balance the blood levels within their bodies.. Yet, there she was, losing her balance and falling into the young man. A bit of anxiety washing over her, flustered and prickles of fear through her being as arms encircled her in what could be a crushing embrace… Yet…

He just continued with his thought from earlier. She had relented and a spot already discussed. A small town not far from where they were that she also vaguely remembered. A faint and hesitant nod from the girl, hand loose in his as he wove their fingers together. Out alone wasn’t something abnormal for them, they often would go to try and gather samples or parts of more questionable people in the nation.. But it still could be a little unsettling. It would only take a second for him to turn on her especially in her weakened state…

"I-I can walk on m-my own…”

Though she didn’t move right away. Staying against him and unmoving as she tried to catch her bearing and breath.

"J-just give me a m-moment.”

Quiet words of the girl assuring she’d be fine after a brief moment of reprieve, she’d linger a few minutes longer before giving a slow exhale and soft push away. A few steps meant to be taken from him before they could go on.

"We should b-be on our way…”

Softer words still, but beckoniing him onwards. It shouldn’t take that long…?

Ayato kept his gaze on Suzuku, she was a capable kunoichi and one he cared deeply about, however, that care may be a bit overwhelming. Like she was to watch over him, he watched over her. He hated being referred to as a pet that can be claimed by ownership, but much like one, he would protect his owner as much as he cared about them. In regards to Suzuku, it even meant protecting her with his life, even at the cost of not making it so she could be happy and move on with her life. The bond he had to Suzuku wasn't uncommon but what was unnatural about it was how it was formed. But, semantics. He felt the girl on his chest seem to nod as he laced their hands together, the contact was always a new rush for him no matter how many times his hands were on her, regardless of where they were on her.

Hearing her faintly assure she can walk on her own, Ayato awaited for her to create some distance, but she just kept there on him, it made him recollect of that special evening but the girl asked him to give her a moment. He'd happily oblige if she wanted hours, the was equally as okay if he got to hold her that long. It was definitely a bit longer than she said, but it made him happy, relax only slightly though. He was still very concerned about her safety, no matter how much she'd reassure him, which wasn't much at all. Easily sending warnings throughout his head.

She did push off of him, much to his dissatisfaction, but if she believed she could, he believed in her too. Ayato nodded at her comment of them being on their way. It easily wasn't something he'd trust being too far from her. He'd still happily guide her to the location they agreed on, moving at her pace, he didn't quite know the distance, but he definitely made sure to keep an eye on her in case she needed more assistance. "Still doing okay, Suzuku?" Ayao asked intermittently, spacing the questions like a fine spice. He didn't want to overload her, nor did he want to irritate her, he was overly protective of her so it shouldn't really come as a surprise.

He honestly last track of how long they were traveling, regardless if short or long, the duo kept to their journey, how much assistance she needed was up to her, but he'd try his best to. In his opinion, it'd be better to hold her close and carry him, he'd be more comfortable if the girl wasn't straining herself. But, after all, this was Suzuku. He was about one falter away from just whisking her up, after all, it'd be better for her to take it easy right now.

They’d continue on their way soon enough. She needed to gather her strength and concentration but it wouldn’t have been too long before she’d get to her own feet and they’d continue on their way. They were both shinobi and both had strength, surely she could keep pushing onwards. And listening to her body would help. Knowing the signs and realizing the level of fatigue she was at helped her regulate it. She’d be fine as long as she paid close attention to herself.

Keeping eyes on him too, though it seemed he had similar ideas. Asking her intermittently about her own well being and health, the girl would nod her head quietly in response at most times, though give soft reassurances things were well. She was fine and they simply had to keep moving. They’d get to a place to rest and relax soon enough.

With a bit of faltering. She kept a well enough eye on herself but with some of that exhaustion and misjudgement before still draining her body and self. Steps kept as strong as she could, attempts to keep even and focused seemingly not missing the eye of a watchful man that she was meant to be guardian of.

While his eyes darted back and forth between Suzuku and and the path, Ayato wondered what could be done once they reached their destination. He thought about the nice spas and hot springs at their destination. He couldn't help but hold his concern for Suzuku, he was definitely pushing the line of how much he can care for her. He was already beyond the line of how much he should, but Ayato clearly didn't care. He was definitely playing with fire but with how hot Suzuku was, it was a heat he can take. She could walk and she tried so much to prove him she can. Ayato watched her closely when he did look at her, he kept a watchful eye on her, not out of fear or malintent, but what he thought was to be care or love. She faltered again after strongly walking for a solid period and Ayato thought she was doing well, he also thought it was a good enough excuse to intervene.

In a brisk movement, he attempted to pick up Suzuku in almost a bridal carry, but also hold her close. "I know, I know, you say you can walk and you're definitely trying, but that falter there convinced me you are more drained than you think, just let me do this." The Nuke said, holding Suzuku close to him, he didn't mind carrying her, truth be told, he already missed her touch, it was calming to him, more than he let on. Ayato actually felt like a normal Shinobi around Suzuku, the feeling was intoxicating and Ayato couldn't get enough of it; by attempting to make her addicted to him, it seemed to have a stronger opposite effect. If Suzuku struggled against his hold, Ayato continued to be persistent, carrying her like a baby if it got too difficult to hold her.

"Please Suzu, just rest. I'll do the walking for the both of us, just rest yourself." He continued walking with her in his arms. Ayato held Suzuku close to himself as he whispered to assure her, his grey eyes kept to her golden orbs. The two continued on their journey. The small town appeared bigger than he initially thought. "Suzuku, I... I think we're here, I can see the steam rising from the far left, it looks like the center is the liveliest part... Coming up are inns and other places we could stop at. I can't see much of the right and I can't see the other side without revealing who I am." Ayato said, giving a brief description of what he could. While it was far from vast, the town they came to was relatively too small to have a name notable by Mizu no Kuni. The styles of most buildings were reminiscent of a very feudal time period, the only modernization where the clothing and existence of walls and doors, everything else was like a walk through time. There wasn't a high volume of any traffic, so it was concluded most of the people were locals. It seemed isolated but Ayato wouldn't really know. Maybe the town was a rest stop of weary travelers who ended up not going home. The architecture was more a step back compared to Kirigakure and seemingly the best part were the clear signage of what was what, removing much guessing out of the question. Ayato continued walking with Suzuku in his arms, upon coming to a random inn, he entered it. "Okay, let's get a place to le-" "Ah, visitors~ The first day is free, complimentary of local donations!" A woman stated and pointed, holding out keys. "Okay... that was easy." Ayato approached the woman, still holding Suzuku, as he was given keys. "Thank you." The male said as he carried the Kuronmeru to their room on the second floor, end of the hall.

Quickly, he got into the room, ignoring any of her resistance of still being carried so close to rest. Ayato put Suzuku gently on the bed before sitting on the edge, looking at the Kuronmeru. "You still doing okay?"

Being a former hunter nin, Ayato had to master the art of Silent Killing in order to be successful in his missions. Ayato showed much promise in his trade despite utilizing a flashy jutsu. He earned the nickname "prototype" due to his foreign-yet-successful assassination techniques. Because of this, he moves as soft as a ghost, capable of taking multiple targets out without making a noise. Despite his great skill, he's human, which leaves room for error. (However, he has not given himself away too early as of yet.)

Whisked into the arms of the one she was meant to watch over, she was an embarrassment as a shinobi. If her cousin saw this he would be fuming… A swallow and her chin tucked down, she couldn’t help but let those tears well up in her eyes, the soft trembling of her body continuing as she was all the more frustrated for one simple fact…

Even if she’d try to fight him to put her down, she wouldn’t have the energy to win let alone continue after that… A silent nod was given to him then, ‘allowing’ him to carry her was a convenient way to put it even if it didn’t feel that way. The figure of the girl leaned against him, weight and balance kept close to at least not make it difficult, but it was also a little more comfortable. If she had to endure this dangerous situation then she might as well find some comfort in it…

"I will… I-i… will…”

She had wanted to say it confidently and shrug him off, but her nature made it impossible. Things were too terrifying in life, the environment they were in too unpredictable, the nukenin with her a magnet to danger…. The thought of surprises around every corner had her shaking…

The town they came upon was small yet odd. Everything seemed rather old, even in its beauty. The architecture and design of the area almost giving her further chills as if something might come there way…

"Let’s f-find an inn… We will have t-to stop now.”

It would be silly to move on at this point. He had carried her this far and the girl would either die of her own embarrassment upon returning to Kirigakure, or Arizo’s rage… An inn all too easy to find as Ayato agreed, taking a turn and then brightly and suddenly welcomed by a friendly voice. Keys held out, no charge asked for, and Suzuku barely able to get her whispered voice out before Ayato was already off.

What sort of room was free? Suzuku couldn’t really believe such a town didn’t need the funds of travelers… a free room had her trembling all the more, hand clasping to the front of Ayato’s shirt… "F-free is suspicious…” It unsettled her. Scared her. The unknown behavior and him so softly putting her down all contrasting the normally harsh way her own clan treated one another, it all seemed so foreign and suspicious.

The Kuronmeru girl sat up though, curling her legs to one side and a hand smoothing down over her dress and thighs. A heavy sigh given and straightening up a little further with a soft wiggle to her body, hands raised and trying to smooth out the long locks of black hair that had been tossled and turned beyond her control while in his arms.

"I-i…. I am fine… Y-you didnt need to…”

She rather wished he hadn’t… And her gaze even stayed off him while she minimally fixed her dress and hair, though tidying up little bits she stayed at least somewhat relaxed… besides the subtle shaking and typical rigidness the Kuronmeru usually allowed herself to be.

Ayato agreed to let the girl down after walking a good distance with her in her arms, he didn't want to but he didn't want to say no to her, yet he could count a few instances in his life where he has had done so. Most of it was either by his actions, he doesn't recall the last time he verbally told her no. Either he was too love-struck to remember or it's just been too long. The entry to a nearby inn was extremely easy and the prize of a free night really dulled his mind, considering he didn't have any money of his own, relying purely on Suzuku to cover any expense, zany or dead serious. He did feel bad about taking her wherever he pleased when he can, it spiked her nerves like she actually thought he would do something horrible to her.

It wasn't until on their way to the room that Suzuku tugged his shirt, garnering his attention to her. "Now that you bring it up, it kinda is best not to worry too much unless they give us a reason to though." The Nakamura didn't share the same paranoia as his female companion but he was acutely aware when she didn't trust something. She had a certain way of truly expressing it to him, whether a physical or verbal cue. He had helped her down on the bed, sitting on the edge while she made herself more comfortable. The lust in his eyes was clear, but he was trying so hard to be civil. "You're right, I didn't need to, but I wanted to, I love your confidence but at the time, I couldn't help but feel a need to help." The young man stated before leaning back to rest his upper body on the bed.

"Should we just rest a bit, talk over how the rest of the stay is going to go? Wanna get right to it? How's your head? Or is it your blood?" Ayato asked as he turned to face Suzuku.

Not to worry… As if that were possible, the girl bowing her head after those words almost as if a child chastised for their behavior, falling silent despite the worry that grew in her heart. She couldn’t help it, it always lingered. The suspicion and fear of what might be around every corner itched at the edges of her brain and fought to seep their way into every thought. The crumbling of a building. Poison in the water. The air turning heavy. His hand around her throat. The world was cruel, unknown, and terrifying.

As always, she continued on though. The two of them into the room and her set down as she attempted to make herself presentable. Despite her shaky mannerisms and despicable behavior, she was part of the honorable and strong Kuronmeru clan… A lovely thing that at least attempted to keep her appearances straight where she could… even if her demeanor thwarted that at every turn.

He took care of her though… As strange, forceful, and scary as Ayato could be, there always seemed to be some sense of careful possessiveness and protectiveness that had him shielding her from anything other than himself. It was an odd trust, a fearful calm, one that she had come to know to get swallowed up in and remain dormant in order to find some sense of terrible peace. So when he’d rest back, she’d allow herself to collapse too, turning herself in that fall and her head colliding just off the side of his chest. Turned into him, barely grazing him with her form as she let out a shaky sigh.

Eyes were closed as he talked about what to do next, the options swirling in her mind though one rising above the others as she rested there, breathing not easy…. But at least somewhat calming in the softly trembling female.

"I-i should eat soon… though if I’m not active it… isn’t as pressing. My blood, my body, needs regulated and paid attention t-to, so if I get distracted it c-can have negative effects.”

Levels were off, her exhaustion creeped in, she could keep herself stable for the most part but continual walking and activity drained on what she had left available to her. Energy was needed and replenishment to her blood to bring her back to perfect shape, but at least she wasn’t at any levels of immediate danger.

"D-did you have plans in mind?”

It was a question that would have come after a few moments of silence, if he provided such. THe thought coming to mind and eyes opening to tilt her head upwards and get him in view, the words spoken quietly in wondering if he had something he wanted as well.

It seemed being told not to worry soured her mood, it could also simply be she lied about the effects on her. Ayato still continued on, helping the Kuronmeru down prior to sitting on the edge himself. When he plopped down asking what to do next, the girl did the same, inverse to him. She was back close to him, his heart rate rising for two reasons. Obviously being back in close proximity to her was one, being face level with her chest as she is with him played another big part. He tried to focus on Suzuku's words but he wanted to also press against her. He thought about her words, turning to press his face against her chest as he thought. A hand of his stroke her hair, slowly massaging her face, almost akin to petting her before he laid back on his back.

"I was wanting to come here for a place to just relax and escape from the tension that awaits for us, well, me back home. I mean, Kirigakure. I already feel at home being here with you. He waited for an answer but after a few seconds of laying there, he would continue to clarify. "I was thinking you and I... we could go to the hot springs here and do exactly that, rest and relax." He took a few more minutes to lay up next to her, stroking her hair as he looked into those golden eyes of her. He thought about it, disrobing her entirely right there and having some fun. But the allure and peace of this moment refrained him.

It still amazed him how much they've gotten closer over the passing months, getting so physically close, yet he still felt so distant from her. He let her in his heart, both in metaphor and physically as her blood was probably circulating through his veins. But he wasn't all too sure she had done the same. At least, not yet. That was part of the intent of this detour, however, it was smaller overall in the factors of this trip. "I'm not in no rush, I know, well now know, how you need to care for yourself. I'm just as fine staying here until you are ready; until you are fed. I want you to enjoy this detour as much as I do."

Small touches and caresses were placed on her, things she didn’t even attempt to shy away from. His face on her chest, a feeling of fluttering fingers through her hair and across her cheek… it was comforting in its own way and had its enticing manner of trying to lull her to sleep…

Asked for his plans, something she tried to focus on with him so close. It was warm, comfortable, the ease of laying down and him beside her at least was coaxing away the fear. The trembling that had settled in was allowed to dissipate and those few moments of peace as she let herself trust in him were provided to her consciousness… Eyes on him while he answered though, mentioning the steam on the way in. So he wanted to go to the springs?

She’d nod regardless, even if faint in her position laying, but she remembered. Her body could probably handle it… Even if she felt weak, if she paid enough attention to her temperature and the time is would be fine. She just had to make sure not to overdue things more, maybe focus on upping her blood count.

Yet it almost seemed like he was letting her off the hook soon after. Her eyes widening slightly as if he were taking the option off the table while she was still considering it, a hand moving out from herself to press against his stomach, fingers curling slightly against the fabric of his shirt but press still there and evident.

"W-we… can go. If you’re worried about me being hungry we can get something on the w-way..”

She wanted to say they could go so they didnt have to stay here the whole time. He wanted to enjoy the place… and something like a hot springs should be easy for her to relax in and recuperate. So to follow through with her words the girl would sit up, slowly but steadily lifting herself into a more readied position. They couldn’t go just laying there, afterall.

She seemed to nod at his answer of going to a hot spring, it was a great idea, and seeing her nod reassured him he finally gave a good idea. He did offer an out for her but he only did it as a courtesy, he wanted Suzuku to do what he wanted, it pleased him so much to have control, even if it wasn't an explicit demand. He'd only make those in rooms like this if he had the consent or just couldn't settle his urges. But the verbal agreement of the idea granted had Ayato beam a smile before sitting up, his eyes trained on Suzuku, looking at their attire. Unless they really wanted to have wet clothes, they needed money, specifically Suzuku's. She didn't let him carry more than the shinobi basics and that was not a big ordeal.

The Nakamura looked deep at her eyes, she was enchanting enough as it was, he had an idea to make her even more tantalizing. Ayato scooted over from the edge of the bed to be closer to her, his hand slowly reaching out to hers. "This is an idea I can roll with... but you know, if we don't want to get a cold, we should probably go get some more... appropriate attire. I fancy keeping everything under those clothes to the imagination and between ourselves." Ayato whispered, clearly referencing the past of that dark night they were together. How clearly he remembered and wanted to relive it was implied however, he really wanted to relax and clear his mind of incoming uncertainty. He stood and continued to hold his hand out for Suzuku if she hadn't taken it yet.

"I think I know the perfect swimwear for you... I just hope we can find some good attire here." Ayato said, a warm smile at the Kuronmeru, he wanted to break the walls she built around herself, both in hopes she can improve as a shinobi and to keep her by his side, through thick and thin.

The look on his face showed how obviously he was pleased, a smile at least shadowing on her own lips that she was glad in return… It was such a little thing, but perhaps kind of nice that she could give someone that flash of happiness.

Though his moving closer had her tilt her head just the slightest bit. He seemed like a man on a mission, something on his mind and that he no doubt was going to express to her. The explanation was… not clear at first. But soon enough the hint that he wanted to have them prepare outfits for the springs was made known. A glance down her form at her normal attire, slim fitting and perhaps inappropriate for a shinobi… but not altogether something to wear in a hot springs.

"I see… perhaps you’re right..”

Quietly, though unsure what to think of his last bit of phrase until it fully sunk in. Her cheeks darkened a bit at the implications it had, golden eyes averting themselves and settling into her lap rather than on him at all. He’d stood, though she’d hesitate, her mind still shifting over his meaning and the girl squirming where she sat. But with a peek up she’d notice his hand and take it, lifting herself to his side and preparing herself mentally, or at least attempting to, for leaving that room.

Though she’d find herself hesitating once again, color never quite leaving her cheeks and gaze difficult to keep near his.

"L-lead the way then…”

Control for him.. She was tired, obviously. And this was his idea. So turning that over to him would be okay, right?

A perhaps... much like a maybe to him, it was an indifferent yes. The man once again smiled more, things were running smoothly and if he played his cards right, perfectly. He knew not to push her too much at once, a little too much freedom and he was pretty sure Suzuku would still use her blood against him. It was that psuedo-control to be wary of but he didn't think the Kuronmeru would do anything excessive, at least that was his hope. Once he got up, he reached his hand out to her as he continued to extrapolate what he was aiming for. Suzuku's color noticeably shifted as she came to terms with what he meant. Reaching to grab his hand to stand up made the man's heart flutter, it always did. Everything about Suzuku both excited and calmed him down, it was a weird reaction but given how he felt about her, it certainly evoked many mixed feelings. She told him to lead the way and he gently but firmly gripped her hand tighter. "Alright. Come on, time for some R&R pre-shopping."

The Nuke didn't know how to word it better but quite honestly, he didn't care, he was so much closer now. He just needed her to open up more. A feat seemingly impossible but he held out hope that if nothing else changes, her feelings and actions with him change. Ayato would lead them to seemingly a very fancy shop he saw, it was a long trek, perfect for a conversation to strike up but hopefully, not too tiring of a walk. "I have a fun idea... how about we both get each other what we think the other looks great in? That way we make the most fun out of this little detour? You open to that or just me getting everything, Suzuku."

The Nuke made the offer, he really, really wanted to see her in the outfit he had in mind and he wanted her to also have fun. Today is gonna be fun day~
