They fled from position before Amegakure shinobi were deployed and were last seen heading in the direction of Tsuchi no Kuni. Not wanting to waste time or resources, the Rain Village sent a messenger hawk to Iwagakure, requesting aid to intercept the renegades in daft fashion. Amegakure is sending a shinobi in order to intercept the POI as it is their issue to begin with and a chance to maintain a strong relationship between the villages.
