Mizu no Kuni is located in the ocean with several islands attached under its rule. It is ruled by the current Mizukage who also carries the title of Daimyo since the Daimyo rule was abandoned in the civil war. Now the Land of Water is ruled from two seats of power, Kirigakure and Kagamino no Shi.

While this info-board only contains the known cities and villages, it is possible to discover places hidden away in the terrain, but such adventures are best left to those of a wild heart and strong mind as not all places are welcoming to outsiders. Please contact the Mizukage if you wish to go into uncharted territory and help expand the known places of Mizu no Kuni. Some places lack information as well due to the people either going incognito or otherwise refusing to communicate with the outside world.

The climate is largely temperate, which means Mizu no Kuni sees some humid and warm summers with lots of precipitation from the clouds carried in from the sea. At the coast it gets warmer during summer and bitterly cold during winter, while the temperatures inland are more stable.

Precipitation is a general occurrence and the country rarely goes without it for months. It does happen, but such events are rare. The mist hangs heavy in the mornings and evenings and lingers in most places during the day. The clouds are often hanging low in the sky, both a blessing and a curse.

The seasons are somewhat muddled together, with autumn and winter being much the same with increased precipitation and less sunny days. The days also grow a shorter. Mizu no Kuni rarely sees snow in the lowlands, but in the highlands it is a possibility during winter.

There are many mountains throughout Mizu no Kuni, rolling hills, forests and two large marshes which have earned a name and a place on the map.

Regarding Technology

Mizu no Kuni is significantly improving but the Civil War and the previous bandit infestation has stalled the nation's progress to some extent. Only the largest cities which see the most trade and house the wealthiest of the Mizu no Kuni inhabitants are somewhat up to par with the rest of the world, however nowhere near the level of technology seen in Amegakure.

You will find imported wares in such places, these are things as old TVs, big computers, OOC speaking there are no electronics etc from our day or as effective - at most there is lighting for those that can afford it but is not forced since some have lived so long without technology they are not ready to change their way of life.

Very few own electronics outside of the big cities and then they'd need to have a generator to power it or some other power source. It is safe to assume most urban places do not own anything as complicated as a computer or an electronic mail receiver.

Regarding entertainment consoles, such as pinball machines, arcade machines etc, these would be a rarity and only seen in entertainment districts, so it is unlikely to be found in the country or out in the middle of nowhere. Most electronic/entertainment things would have been sold to put food on the table etc.

OOCly speaking, due to the rating of the village being at a 7 items occasionally do get imported, but due to the traditional and remote lifestyle of Mizu no Kuni and Kirigakure, it is unlikely for anyone to own technology on an individual basis; a few bits and bobs are becoming more common but great pieces of technology are often reserved to the government and are not seen by every day civilians or shinobi.

If you are in doubt about X piece of technology (app'ed on site or otherwise), please ask your Mizukage.

For information about technology in Kirigakure, see below.

Situated close to the crescent lake and the largest mountain on Mizu no Kuni, Kirigakure is one of the largest cities and the is nation's military headquarters. The buildings are built upwards towards the sky in a cylindrical shape. The clan compounds are often different as this is where the founding clans had their base when the village was founded. The village is seemingly covered in a heavy fog every hour of the day, however, it lessens as the day progresses. To the north the mountain range starts. The buildings are built to resemble the rugged flattop mountains providing more cover in case the mist is not enough to conceal the village from aerial forces/scouts. Small waterfalls run throughout the village as it is on the beginning incline of the mountains. Due to the limited sunlight, the citizens have taken to growing greens and such on their roof tops providing both food and shielding from prying eyes from the sky.

The village's walls are woven into the flattop mountains. Since the civil war and sanbi attack efforts have been made to restore the village, meaning building projects have been started and completed, buildings have been painted or re-painted, and the main portions of the village that had been destroyed are now fully restored.

For more information about the placement of important buildings and gates, please look at the map of Kirigakure located in the Kirigakure board.

Map Here (Please request residential pins with your Mizukage)

Regarding Technology

Kirigakure's power-lines were partly destroyed during the Sanbi attack, but a large generator has been placed and much of the electricity has been restored. Kirigakure is perhaps worse off than the rest of the nation, meaning they have limited technological resources. The village is now on the way to fully reclaiming at the very least being able to light their homes if electricity is purchased from the government. Something like 90% have access to electric lighting, though only about 70% have purchased it. Other types of technology is still uncommon at about 35% being able to access it.

The most populated minor island. It once belonged to the Sourei clan. It is rather fertile land, meaning they have a small forest as well as a large mountainous terrain. All the people live in the small village, Hoka no Mura, the shinobi are split between the watchtower and the village. The island is mostly rolling hills and rock formations, making it quite a challenge to build upon. Though it is a good place to get time alone and a hike.

There is an old forest here of withered, pale white trees that grow like ghosts.

Nothing significant has happened in a while, the latest news is that the population of rabbits are starting to outnumber the humans on the island.

Only the ruins of an old Hozuki compound remains nestled in the treeline of a forest. This barren land is covered in rocks, heather and other hardy plants. An ideal place for rodents as there as no land predators and their only natural predators would be avian.

A barren outpost with a watchtower and an abandoned lighthouse. It is mostly manned by shinobi and a few huts here and there provide homes to any fishermen who wish for a quiet and simple life. The land is barren and the only thing you'd be able to cultivate would be potatoes or similar root plants. There's something sinister about this land.

The island has long since been a place where monks go to pray and practice their art, it seems to march to the beat of its own drum. The people who do live here do not concern themselves with the workings of the main land of Mizu no Kuni. However, it has been rumored a giant octopus has taken up residence in the largest lake - hard to say if it's friendly or not but no one wants to test it. Some say it is a god, others say it is as old as one. The people here are fond of stories and whenever news of Yuga no Shima reach the mainland, it is usual news concerning the self proclaimed oracle living there.

Moon Tooth Isle was once an outpost for the Kaguya clan, the island is small, but its foundation solid and reaches further out into the sea than the patch of visible land peeking out of the waves. It seems to be filled with old traces of the Kaguya and the bandit life they led. It seems to be constantly clad in mist.

Only old ruins remain here and if anyone lives here, only the gods know how they survive. No shinobi are stationed here due to the unlikely event someone should need them.

North
Mizu no Kuni

Basic Information

The north of Mizu no Kuni is - barring Kagamino no Shi - mostly dangerous territory. Treacherous forests, marshes and mountain ranges fill the vast landscape. It is all too inviting for rogues to make themselves comfortable here. In recent years, attempts have been made to extract all those that might use this place as an escape, these efforts have been moderately successful.

The majority of Mizu no Kuni's legendary animals may be found here as well, though locating them is incredibly dangerous and is not for those with a weak set of skills. The few that have attempted to find those legendary animals have often come up empty-handed, or never returned at all. Most often, either defeated by animals or conniving bandits lurking in the shadows of the many seemingly abandoned locations. Though, the dead would tell you - if they could speak - they are anything but.

Technology in this area is quite underdeveloped in comparison to Kirigakure no Sato, the majority of individuals, having never even seen something that provides light and warmth that was not a real fire.

There are a few spots in Northern Mizu no Kuni that are worth visiting - Kagamino no Shi and Hoka no Mura. Some would recommend Kagura no Mura, though others would warn against it for its rambunctious nightlife. This area of Mizu no Kuni has  an average amount of shinobi stationed, mostly in forts and watchtowers sprinkled strategically throughout the land.

Located in a valley in the mountains, they are raised up from the flat-lands and the mist doesn't smother the city as it does the rest of the country. The mist will usually come crawling in the evening and be gone as soon as the sun has risen. The city is called the Mirror Field city due to the number of lakes located here. The lakes are crystal clear and the entire lake-walls are covered in reflective gems and stones. The place is full of life and the city has incorporated the nature into the buildings as well as the gems harvested from the nearby mountains. The city's perimeter is made purely of waterfalls and the city continues beyond these waterfalls. The lake the Daimyo Tower is located on consists of very low water levels and sudden drops into unknown depths making building impossible in most of the area. The water in the lake disappears down the drops. The lake is called Kagami Ko (Mirror Lake).

The nobles and royals live in the large, cylindrical towers on the side of the Kagami Ko and the general public lives beyond that. Before the civil war, the Daimyo lived in the Daimyo Tower with his family, now it is used to house the current Daimyo and Mizukage whenever they visit and used for conferences and important meetings.

The main form of transportation is either by boat, on foot via the bridge systems, or by air if you have a summons capable of flight. It is generally not advised to swim down the drops in the Kagami Ko, as the temperature will drop significantly and you will risk death in a place where no one can come to your aid. It is possible to swim in the them though and most of the bath houses are located with at least one drop used for swimming and relaxation.

In 1022 the city hosted the third round of the international Chunin Exams, seeing the building of beautiful waterscaped arena and dormitories for the participants. Though the arena has remained, the dormitories have been replaced with housing project for the homeless.

Kuro Matsubayashi (黒松林)

Kuro Matsubayashi is the largest forest on the Mizu no Kuni mainland. While it would seem to hold plenty of resources, the territory is treacherous and the creatures who dwell here are even more so. The land reaches miles upon miles, the rock often overgrown, marshes swallow old trees and ruins, gases make the swamp bubble and hiss with poison. A dark river runs through the entire forest, eventually leading you into the open marshes, it branches out into smaller brooks and pools, but only the main river will lead you out to the marshes. The current is strong and the waters house more than frogs and frail fish.

The forest is incredibly dense, branches reach and intertwine with each other, dimming the light and in the deepest reaches of the forest, almost no sunlight reaches the ground. Mist snakes its way through the trees and provides cover for brambles and brings an eerie atmosphere to the land. Many medical herbs of the poisonous variant can be found here, but at your own risk, many shinobi have ventured in here and never made it back alive - those who have never fully returned to their old self and gave up on shinobi life. It is said that beasts of all manner live in the depths, so be careful never to venture past the point where the branches seem to grow into claws and reach for you and the dark seems to come alive.

The small village located at the edge is called; Kashiwa (柏市 , Oak City), there is little to say about this village, it is mostly made up of guardians of the forest, making sure to inform those intending to go into the forest, they are also the ones with the most knowledge on the forest and those who return with their sanity damaged are often left in their care. The shinobi serving here are most often securing for bandits and rotating between being in Kashiwa or are sent here to tend to old outposts which need mending.

If you do venture into the forest Kashiwa inhabitants will warn you one final time;

"Do not eat the fish. Do not follow the lanterns. Do not stay more than one week. Do not lose your company. Do not linger or the animals might find you."

The Red Keep had once been a bandit fortress for decades, ruled by pirates and thieves. Located beyond Kuro Matsubayashi the bandits here had an iron grip on the small harbor nearby.

After a great deal of intel collection it was found out that the Keep was the reason for the bandit problem in the nation and with Hachidaime Mizukage's initiative the Keep was brought under Kirigakure no Sato rule.

There are about 500 shinobi stationed here at any given time to ensure that the bandits that had once run illegal operations out of this place never return. Now the fortress is used for northern navy fleets and general military operations.

Hoka no Mura is a small village, the land is rich and softer than most places, making it ideal for growing crops and a variety of plants, herbs, and the like. The mist snakes its way around the houses nestled between trees and shrubs here and there, the village draws its water from a freshwater spring and provides water to the people and the crops when needed. Many who live here are farmers, artisans, the people look out for each other and rely on support from the Daimyo and Kirigakure to protect them from bandits.

This area sees a far lesser amount of mist, often having only a thin layer of white covering it by midday, despite the heavy layer mist in the morning and evening. Grass covers the lands around the village, moss grows on the rocks and smaller plants grow near the rocks, while the larger ones grow where there is less rock found.

A forest lies to the northwest where fruit-trees have been planted, although an ambitious venture, it does give some fruit in the summer. Mostly, they grow hardier crops, lots of potatoes are grown and shipped from here.

The city of dreams and leisure. Kagura no Mura is a melting pot of native Mizu no Kuni people and foreigners, cultures clash and reform, subcultures are common here and you will find just about every kind of establishment - legal and illegal. The city is known for being far less active during the daylight hours, where the mist hangs heavy, but when darkness falls the lights seem to float, spreading their warm colours around, scents of all manner float out into the streets from casinos, tea houses, brothels, bars, and criminal headquarters. That being said, the city is built and kept alive by entertainers and hosts who profit off the tourists and the wealthier families of the land.

The weather stays mostly the same, mist hangs heavy during the morning, evenings and nights. The sun breaks through well enough and the few farmers which live here have started to farm the patches of land to produce what they can for the people in the village.

The small harbor is mostly used by those heading to the city and is protected by both hired sellswords or shinobi.

[Famous for]: Horses, herding/guard dogs, and sheep.

The mountain located near Mizu no Tera has a hidden world up in the mountains. The clouds often hang low but on sunny days you can sometimes see the riders who are out looking for their sheep. The village located here is hard to find if you are not accompanied by one of its inhabitants. The mountains contain rolling hills and ravines, rivers and lakes, patches of forest but mostly it is all rock, grass and heather. Suncho no Mura is nestled by one of the highest peaks where they breed horses, sheep and dogs. They are hard workers and you will hardly ever find a people resistant and honest people. Up here you need to be able to work quick efficiently and together. There is no room for needless fears of heights or the like when it is time to herd the sheep home, as these often graze on the steepest surfaces.

The dogs bred here could be labelled as aggressive, but in truth, they are protective of their family and of the livestock, often having to face some minor predators such as foxes and the odd lynx. All in all, it is a society mostly left alone and little is known of the coming and goings here.

No shinobi are stationed here due to the hardy nature of the highlanders, who are able to hold their own against brave bandits venturing up from the lowlands.

West of Kuro Matsubayashi and a large lake is a series of marshes all intertwined, weaving through the area like a snake leading unsuspecting travelers to their doom. Though the sight is beautiful to behold, and holds true ecological value - protecting the surrounding area from storms, floods and erosion - the dangers that lie ahead are to not be scoffed at. They are not called "Death Marshes" for nothing, for they have taken countless lives both shinobi, civilian and animal in equal measure, without any discrimination. Traversing the land is difficult, due to it's unforgiving terrain. With livestock is impossible, as to find the correct spots to place one's footing is hard due to the soft earth that in spots looks deceivingly soft but turns out dense, whilst in others deceivingly safe where in fact there is a sink hole that sucks up all unknowing victims. Some of these marshes house swamp like conditions, making it difficult to pull oneself out if you were to fall in. Only the bravest of aquatic and avian life call the place home, and even they at times perish.

basic information

To the east you find smaller harbors and nameless villages, too small to be placed on the map. While not as populated, the rugged terrain is filled with hills, rising mountains and deep sinkholes. At the coast you find small villages, which are kept alive by the connection between them and the connection to the minor islands, most notably the island Yuga no Shima.

Located near pine, birch and spruce trees the mountains can be seen in the horizon. The city has been a favored as a summer vacation spot for the nobles and rich. The buildings are sturdy and while the city isn't the largest in Mizu no Kuni, it has by far the most expensive structures as it is decorated with carvings and statues. The open clearing it is situated in allows for the sun in the summer to shine through and with the mountains so close by a day trip up there is easy and leads to some of the calmest and serene landscape -perfect for picnics and parties.

The buildings are built upwards rather than out to save space. When the summer residences aren't occupied they are maintained by the common folk who live there year-round. It is a peaceful place and has seen little war or siege in all its time.

In 1022 this town hosted the first and second rounds of the international Chunin Exams. They had a lavish dormitory built for the occasion and provided many amenities for the participants.

It poses as a tall mountain, on the easternmost border of Mizu no Kuni. It is tall, the tip-top is covered with swirling fog. The climb up is treacherous with many loose stones capable of dislodging. But this is where this place holds its power, in its danger and unlimited beauty. Those brave enough to climb to the very top, whether led by spirit, bravery, or internal guidance will find one of the most beautiful views in all of Mizu no Kuni where oxygen is horribly thin. Here at the top of the mountain the fog parts, and there is nothing but sun and clouds all beneath - a braver soul may take a leap from the edge of the mountain into the raging swirling sea below.

Much like its name implies, it is the governance of the soul a place meant to reignite one's determination or kill it all at once.

Mizu no Kuni

Basic Information

The Western part of Mizu no Kuni is perhaps the most populace, and has the sunniest locations to visit, despite ironically also being home to Kirigakure no Sato, the village with the thickest fog in the entire country. Home, most often to the Mizukage and thus Daimyo, this part of the country has in recent years developed a decent economy, easily considered average in comparison to other sister states.

This land is undoubtedly the most coastal and hosts the most rivers running to and from the ocean allowing for easy irrigation for the farmers that live alongside these coasts. It is no surprise that this land boasts the grandest navy in - some would say - the entire world.

It is mostly safe to travel here, if you are not an enemy, of course.

The fabulous city of the Waning Moon! The pride and joy of Mizu no Kuni when it comes to ships, national and international trade. This is the station most wares end up at when headed for Mizu no Kuni, either just for a few hours before they are shipped closer to their destination, or they stay here. The streets are lively and the economy doesn’t seem as poor as the rest of Mizu no Kuni due to being the heart of trade. Shinobi are often dispatched here to help out with the heavy lifting and keeping crime to a moderate level as well as provide escort to merchants travelling further into the land or if they are travelling into foreign nation not allied with.

Precipitation is more common here and you will often experience the fresh scent of ozone, the mist often tracing intricate patterns over the water and novice fishermen and tourists will find it hard to tell when the land begins and when the sea starts. The coast is littered with rocks and rough sand, not suitable for bathing unless you find one of the rare spots with softer sand, clearer water, and far fewer poisonous fish disguising themselves as rocks.

Suiryu Bay or as the locals call it: The Trench is a place best avoided if you are not on good terms with the otters or if you plan to exploit the land/sea.

The trench descends down to depths, unexplored by even the toughest of divers and even the famed Ama clan hesitate to dwell in the depths too long due to the extreme pressure at the bottom of this place. The water is home to deep sea creatures of all kinds, but at the very bottom you find an abundance of life not expected. This is due to Kirigakure and its initiative. The Kirigakure prison has grown smaller in population and now holds only the weakest and low rank criminals, the dangerous criminals or those who simply seek to aid the enemies of the country, are sent to a new wing located at the bottom of the trench. The Suiryu Tenshukaku is located here, the construction was a slow process but the finishing touches have been done, pushed along by the Nanadaime and Rokudaime Mizukage.

At the bottom of the ocean, in a trench there is an almost invisible structure.

The structure, simple and archaic. With tunnels even leading somehow to Kirigakure no Sato, though they are extremely heavily guarded and it takes a long time to travel from this oceanic point to the village itself. Long enough that most choose not to do so due to the sheer amount of heavy fuuinjutsu and dangerous security measures kept in place.

There are four branches capable of holding a considerable amount of prisoners, with a single walkway along the middle leading out to Senzai or "The Garden".

Senzai consists of a long tunnel, the space limited and the dome roof is all that stands between the crushing pressure of the ocean above and whoever is inside. Senzai is where all those sentenced to death will find their final resting place, either after having their sentence carried out or they will get to feel the crushing weight of the ocean for a brief time before they succumb to it. The mechanisms allow the staff of Tenshukaku to send the sentenced up and out of the prison, bound and sealed to a long chain the body is sent up through the elevator system and they are left to float around in the water and provide the sealife with nourishment until only their bones are left. The Garden is so aptly named due to the way the bodied line the seabed like flowers on a summer meadow.

The A and B wing are both drilled into the ground and the cells are made of strong steel enforced with barrier ninjutsu as well as a chakra suppressing seal barrier. The wings are made so that the entire hole can be filled with water by opening a latch at the top, exposing the hole to the pressure and water from the outside, this is a security measure in case the prison needs to be culled, the prisoners either drowning or die due to the pressure.

Blue: Interrogation, staff areas, laboratory.

A and B Wing: Highest security areas, flood mechanism enabled at all times unless new arrivals are scheduled.

C and D wing: Lower risk criminals, meaning less of a physical threat.

Purple: Senzai area, criminals can be moved further out from the prison via a pulley system installed.

Black lines: Major gates which fill with water when closed.

South
Mizu no Kuni

Basic Information

The South, much like the East is full of small villages, too small to fit on a map. The land is mostly flat, save for a collection of hills and dangerous ravines. The mist clings to the land quick and heavy, seeming to linger at almost all times of the day, except during the summer months where the sunshine manages to cast away some of the fog away.

In the fog there are many creatures, of varying shapes and sizes. The fishermen, and farmers that do call this area of the land home are quite superstitious and generally stick to riversides or coastal lines as there are more than enough rumors to suggest that there are dangerous creatures and animals in the mist that is so heavy the majority of the year.

Koe no Numa is a hilly marshland/bog, full of dangerous sinkholes, rivers and ravines. The danger does not lie in the area itself, for due to the height of the hills, it is actually possible to see moreso than anywhere else in the South of Mizu no Kuni, but rather the unpredictable terrain and the creatures that lurk in the dark. Many avoid the area altogether, preferring a longer route than to have to deal with whatever lives here.

Though cases have been recorded of shinobi successfully traversing the area without incident, others whisper of the moans and voices that can be heard whispering especially in the night when the fireflies dance enticingly and warmly, inviting unsuspecting travelers inside to their doom.

The abandoned island of Sekana Me, has been given a new purpose through a testing and dangerous event. For this reason, this island is entirely off limits aside from explicit written permission from the Mizukage and Oinin Butai.

The creatures that can be encountered on this island are not of this world, and have an unnatural ability to fight and are only driven to kill. At times, they are allowed to roam free without restraint, making this island extremely dangerous except for the most adept shinobi.

Only twenty shinobi, on an off season are stationed here and are on a rotation. The majority are medical shinobi with a priority in observation on the creatures that roam here.

hitokuroun keikaku
[Clone Project]

Basic Information.

LOCATION: Sekana Me (Fish's Eye Island)
PROJECT NAME: Hitokuroun Keikaku (The Clone Project)
PROJECT INTENTION: To further the ability of the Kirigakure shinobi.
CONTACT FOR NPC: Mizukage (Discord or PM).

DESCRIPTION

The abandoned island of Sekana Me, has been given a new purpose. In order to further Kirigakure's Shinobis' combat ability and ready genin for the chuunin exams as well as strengthening their mental resolve, the island has been turned into a training facility as well as an execution zone.

With the help of the laboratory team and Yuki Fuyumi clones based on DNA from the people of Kirigakure have been created and adapted to function as desired turning them into test subject for new implants as well as new, deadly techniques which cannot be tested on allies.

The island has been reworked equipped with barriers, towers and a barrier perimeter intended to keep everyone on the island in and all uninvited out. The island has been divided into zones with one zone in the middle surrounding the tower which is a zone where all clones can be found. The moat surrounding the tower has constant pulses of electricity running through it to make sure no one crosses it as it is too far to jump and any water walking attempted will result in electrocution.

The event has been put on hold, in an attempt to rework the challenges faced on this island with a rotation of medical shinobi on hand, on the island monitoring the clones.

the clones

Name: Hitokuroun 003
Rank: C
Average Height and Weight: 5 feet 9 inches // 180 cm | 176 lbs // 80 kg
Area: South and Green Marshes (Purple Zone).

Pale skinned and equipped with a very convincing human look.

Their body is created from DNA originating from a Ran clan member, while the tracking knowledge is not available to them, they have been enhanced with an incredible smell and speed. Their strength is not in their brute strength but in their swift movements and quick attacks.

Their hands are equipped with sharp, metal nails capable of lacerating and stabbing as easily as a knife would. Their teeth are razor sharp and while they can't tear huge chunks off of their prey, they aim to deliver fast blows and bites, causing little damage every time but in the end, their numbers and continued attack will result in their prey bleeding and tiring out.

Name: Hitokuroun 007
Rank: B
Average Height and Weight: 5'7''-9'1''/ 174-280 cm | 198-418 lbs / 90-190 kg
Area: East Coast and Heather Fields (Light Blue Zones).

White, leathery skin and eyeless. Number 007 hunts purely via sound and smell. Their echolocation ability means they are lovingly called 'clickers' by their handlers. Their formula is made mainly from Kaguya DNA, which has led to the leathery skin, spiked spine and sternum, beak-like lips and durable teeth. They possess no hands or feet, instead, they seem to have taken on a form resembling the one gained in the Dance of the Fig [X], however, it only lends them a durable body, enhanced speed, and the ability to alternate the length of their spikes, and switch between square-ended 'feet' and pointed 'feet' the former capable of dealing blunt damage and working a bit like hooves, the latter being used for piercing stabs.

The clone usually will mind its own business unless disturbed or hungry. They move much like a deer would, but can rear up and fight on their hind legs, however, they sacrifice mobility for using their front legs like swords. They aim to damage the prey and then devour it by picking at it with their beaks.

Name: Hitokuroun 016
Rank: B

Average Height and Weight: 50-200 cm | 400-551 lbs // 181-250 kg

Area: Pine forest and Green marshes (Light blue and red zones).

Their strength lies not in their physical strength, but in their durable bodies and the venom coursing through their system. They bleed black blood, but that you'll only see if you manage to break their shell which is stronger than any normal blade. Only blades of cutting power equal to the of the legendary Kiba swords or with a serious enhancement to their cutting ability [Cutting SA and rank of A-S weapons] are able to cut through the shell.

Their blood is toxic and corrosive. Their saliva is mixed with the poison dripping from their teeth, any bite will result in the are numbing after two rotations. After four the bitten is incapable of moving whatever limb was bitten.

They move swiftly and can balance on their front legs easily, enabling then to attack with their hindlegs and tail, which are capable of strong, piercing attacks.

They are completely blind and hunt via sound and their ear-piercing screams can map out an area of 500 meter and be memorized until they map a different area.

They are derived from spiders and scorpions, a healthy mix of Kaguya DNA to achieve the dense shell. While the shell does much good for them, sufficient blunt force can smash them.

Name: Hitokuroun 029

Rank: A
Average Height and Weight: 6'5''// 197 cm | 369 lbs // 180 kg

Area: Lake Tower. (Black, Edge of all zones)

Tall and stoic, they have no blindspot and are likely the most dangerous of the clones. Number 029 has pale skin with a blueish tint. Slime makes their skin slick and slippery. The slime also makes them able to stick to trees. Eyes are located all around their head, slits for nostrils and a maw much like a spider's.

They possess an incredible ability, something not expected of the research team, they constantly exude something thought to be spores, much like fungi, it is airborne and elicits a fear response from those in its range(200 meters if the target is downwind). The fear response is capable of exhausting the prey as the fight or flight response is trigged and eventually, the prey will need rest as their energy stores are depleted, making devouring them easy.

Not only that, they seem to possess a strand of Sourei genetics, enabling them to make any weapon or similar extremely heavy to the point where it is hard to keep a hold of. They have to touch the weapon in question to make it heavy. Their own limbs can be made heavy to do more damage.

They are rather docile when no prey is in sight and the clones rarely attack until they have caught sight of the prey, their speed is extreme though and you will need to pull out all the fancy tricks to dodge their piercing attacks. They usually go for the heart, their clawed, webbed hands are capable of piercing through just about anything. However, once they move, they can't change direction and will need to stop and change direction.

They can stay in water for hours, submerged until someone comes along.

THE TOWERS

Throughout the island are placed towers which have barriers placed between them making sure the clones do not stray into the other zones. In each zone is a pole which sends out an alarm signifying the  release of clones somewhere. It is intended to warn any wandering around the island.

The towers placed in the water also acts as a defense mechanism due to the barrier extended between them around the island, meaning no one can get in or out without the correct permissions as the barrier crew will not let anyone pass without proper authorization.

The barriers are made to withstand great force and have a rank of S. The only other way in is via airdrop.

The towers are fully manned during the island's active hours, but only a smaller crew is present during downtime to make sure everything is running as it should.

THE beacons

All clones are equipped with a termination chip and are programmed to be attracted to different things, however, whenever a round ends or if it become necessary to recall the clones, waves of high pitched sound will sweep across the section, much like a dog whistle, and call the creatures back as it is linked to feeding time. The beacons are located at the underground doors which lets the clones out.

There are five beacons, so all zones can be reached. All personnel are equipped with whistles as well in the event they need to lure clones towards a specific area for one reason or another.

CLEARANCE AND ADMITTANCE TO ISLAND

Only personnel are allowed to go to the island while no exercise is running. Only shinobi of the Oninbutai (Hunter Nin) are allowed to use the island for exercise, all they need to do is inform the Mizukage with a date, time and duration of the exercise.
