Always looking forward and never changing despite the many new situations thrown her way. She remains positive, a kind and caring influence to any student that encounters her. She adores teaching and strongly believes that everyone has the potential to be great, no matter how weak or useless they may seem. Despite the obvious power she wields, she will never use it for her own benefit and in recent years has used it solely to protect her students and Kirigakure from harm when needed. [Background]: Born to a decdicated family of Kirigakure shinobi in midst of the Third Shinobi War. Kanade was raised in a time of strife and conflict. Grew up rather happily with her parents, but at age six they both perished fighting on the front lines. Was sent to live with her grandparents and a few months later, into the ninja academy of Kirigakure. She trained like many others, but graduated a year early and once she became a genin, she along with others were thrown into helping with the war. Was promoted two years later to Chunin just a year before the war came to an end. Spent the next few years functioning as a shinobi but doing little else, traumatised from the scars of war and eventually breaking down when ordered to kill a traitor to Kirigakure, she fell into a coma for a year. Woke up at the age of sixteen, seemingly healed and spending the following year improving herself mentally and physically, developing her natural talent with Katon and finding her place loving aiding the current genin. Met the love of her life during this year. Spent the next ten years building up her skills, eventually promoted to Jounin rank and made an academy instructor at the age of twenty eight. Couldn't be happier and ends up in a union with her long time lover two years later at thirty. Six years later the civil war began, Kanade losing her spouse in the process and was devastated. Yet after a day of grieving, she returned to the front lines, knowing that was what her spouse would have wanted her to do. To keep going. Now lives teaching as she has, determined to teach the next generation of shinobi and prepare them for the harsh world outside of Kirigakure. Possessing an almost unshakeable will, there are many who have tried to shake him up and yet have come away from the endeavour as a total failure. Yet despite his cold appearance, he is a thoughtful young man who won't hesitate to jump into a situation if he feels someone is being mistreated. While calm and quiet, Kazuhiro is ruthless on the field of battle. Blasting away foes from up close and at a long range, he will do whatever the situation calls for to get the job done. So while he may be considerate off the battlefield, you will find no mercy from this man while on it. This fearlessness and sense of duty to Kirigakure over the years is what has landed him the reputation of a model shinobi, always getting the job done. No matter what. [Background]: Born to family of trader's and chefs, Kazuhiro's life started out as ordinary as one could get, the Third Shinobi War ending he began living a happy and normal life. Growing up he gained an immense fascination with the lives of shinobi and read avidly about them, even speaking to his parents about them and asking those would who answer him. It was at the age of six, after discovering some latent talent with fighting and after some pleading to his parents, he attended the academy within Kirigakure. After graduating at age ten, Kazuhiro began working with his new teammates under a jounin sensei, spending four years happily with them all and learning as they all grew as one unit. It was after nearly five years however, that they were told their sensei had perished in an A-rank mission. Extremely saddened, Kazuhiro took the next few months to mourn, after which he entered the Chunin exams. Determined to put all that work with his sensei and his team into practice and after a hard fought battle, they won. He was finally a Chunin. Kazuhiro spent the next five years living as a Chunin, working alongside both new and old teammates. Never once forgetting his sensei's lessons and continuing to push forward because of them. Life wasn't wonderful, but it wasn't awful either. He was recovering, little by little. A new mission appears as he hits twenty one years of age, finding and facing off against the missing nin that claims to have had a hand in his sensei's death, Kazuhiro goes into a rage like state, slaughtering the man without mercy or emotion. Spotted and scouted by the Kirigakure Oinin Butai for his skill, he joins with them at the growing age of twenty two, while good at killing, Kazuhiro discovered his speciality lies in intelligence gathering. He has been honing this skill along with many others ever since. hozuki, suiryo [Age]: 44 [Status]: Married [Orientation]: Heterosexual [Residence]: Kirigakure [Affiliation]: Kirigakure Suiryu Butai [Occupation]: Kirigakure Main Gate Guard; Kirigakure Kamenoko Mamori [Specialization]: Ninjustu [Gen] ; Genjutsu [Alias]: n/a [Traits & Persona]: A mostly cheery individual with a mostly non-mean streak. He keeps to himself and does his job as he is instructed to do so. He's content with life and doesn't seem to resist most anything that is thrown his way. He is not necessarily an extremely hard worker, but he does not need to be since goes about life as it is expected. He does have a curious mind though which was what got him into the defense corps of the Suiryu Butai. His smile is perhaps the creepiest part about him, there is something beyond ominous and condescending about it. [Background]: Born to two Hozuki's, he always knew what his fate would be. He didn't resist it, he knew that his entering the shinobi academy would happen, and when he did at age nine. He excelled having the extra help at home, of course, helped significantly. In time, at the age of twelve he graduated and would go on to perform missions with his three man team and sensei. They did well, often times going on missions that were a bit more difficult than normal as the times were quite tumultuous between the village and the Daimyo and a lot of military power had to be focused elsewhere. One day a mission went bad - a B-rank one - and his teammates would perish. Whilst he managed to get away, and soon after he would be raised to the rank of chunin for even having managed to survive up to that point, he felt fear and grief.  So, at the age of sixteen he was made chunin and he begged to be moved to a gate guard position to be out of the field. Though he was moved to the position, it did not necessarily make things a lot easier as he still had to defend the gates from invaders quite regularly. When the Civil War broke out, he would fight tooth and nail. Being promoted to jounin and having to fight the Sanbi when things died down to defend the gate. He was one of the lucky few to survive.  The recent years have been mostly calm. He's been working at the main gate the majority of that time.  Minako's short but effective reign found him in a defense focused auxillary corps where he knew helps with a lot of trap implementations through genjutsu.  tanaka, suika [Age]: 74 [Status]: Single; Widowed [Orientation]: Heterosexual [Residence]: Kirigakure [Affiliation]: Kirigakure Orphanage [Occupation]: Kirigakure Orphanage Head Matron [Specialization]: n/a [Alias]: n/a [Traits & Persona]: This woman has long been a part of the Kirigakure Orphanage, so long in fact, that she has seen many of her wards pass away on battle fields before they got to grow old much as she has. For this reason, she has a hardened heart and demeanor. She does not treat the orphans in her establishment with much love and for this reason, she is not very well-liked. But, it does not bother her very much. She has many vices, the greatest one being smoking. Though, all that said she is undoubtedly very organized and demands that all of the children under her care are at the very least neat. She is contentedly collecting a paycheck, waiting for death to call for her as she has long since realized she will never 'hit it big' or be able to retire. Her bitter personality often makes people turn away from her. [Background]: Born to a rather poor family in Kirigakure no Sato, her life started off quite difficult and it would remain this way. Not born with any life defying chakra pool or ability to control, she was stuck with ordinary jobs. As a child she would pick up odd jobs here and there to help her parents, but soon when she got old enough she started helping out at the local orphanage. At first, it was not overly populated but as time wore on the population grew too. She married quite late - around the age of thirty - and her and her husband would continue to live and work. They never had any children, because in her own words 'she had enough children at work'. Once the Civil War broke out, she was promoted to the Head Matron of the orphanage at a ripe old age and she and her husband had to double down as she almost was never home due to how many children were coming in from the sheer amount of death that was occurring on the battlefields. With the war over she was caring for many children, but the Sanbi would break out and she had to move closer to the orphanage after her home was destroyed in the rampage. Her husband was killed in the process too. With no retirement in sight, she just works and is quite bitter about it. Hoping that one day the orphanage might be empty so she too could rest. yamamoto, daichi [Age]: 52 [Status]: Married [Orientation]: Heterosexual [Residence]: Kirigakure [Affiliation]: Kirigakure Soba KuruKuru [Soba Twirl] [Occupation]: Soba Shop Owner [Specialization]: n/a [Alias]: Soba-Man [Traits & Persona]: A slightly grouchy soba shop owner. He's been doing it for so long, he knows what he's doing and he doesn't care about what anyone thinks or says. He certainly does not care about other people's food opinions. In his opinion you either eat it the way he makes it or get out. He's not all bad though, he loves when people are interested in his food and on the occasion that he grins it is usually from the compliments he receives. [Background]: He was born the eldest son - in a family of what would be seven - in a mostly peaceful time in Kirigakure no Sato. The family, having always owned the infamous soba shop. Daichi grew up in the kitchen, and learned how to cook and make soba by hand from a very young age. As well as picking out the best buckwheat on the market when the merchants came to town.  He would fully take over the shop at the age of 26 when his father retired. The Civil War put people out of jobs, but the soba shop remained despite a lot of the destruction. A staple of the entire village and in some regards it was famous around the country too.  Nowadays, business has gotten a lot better and he is quite content though he keeps his grumpy demeanor nonetheless. yamada, akira [Age]: 48 [Status]: Single [Orientation]: Asexual [Residence]: Kirigakure [Affiliation]: Nomimasu [Drink's Up] [Occupation]: Bartender at Nomimasu [Specialization]: n/a [Alias]: n/a [Traits & Persona]: The man is tired, and he looks it too. He mixes a good drink - if he has the ingredients - but is otherwise appearing to be quite overworked and doesn't really want to be doing his job. The patrons that know him at the bar are quite patient with his slow action. He is no-nonsense and doesn't want anyone fighting or anything of that sort. So he is quick to kick aggressive patrons out.  [Background]: Akira was born to a family of shinobi, but he was never one for such ordeals. Being born with natural aptitude for it, but with absolutely zero ambition he picked up jobs around town as a kid to help out with whoever needed helping. But he refused to enter the academy.  He was trained on a physical level by his parents, but never went beyond that. Never cultivated his chakra and ultimately would end up working odd jobs until he ended up in the restaurant business.  Being as lazy as he is, he never really climbed any 'corporate' ladders and avoided the concept completely since it was a lot easier to simply be someone else's subordinate. During the Civil War and the Sanbi rampage he was completely out of a job, and had to live in his old family home until the tide turned. Both of his parents died between the two conflicts. After all was said and done, and the funerals were had. He would take up a job in the entertainment district of Kirigakure to work as a bartender. He has gotten pretty good at the job and has collected many regulars. He's not ambitious but he gets the job done.
