[Nue Yuma]

Yuma walked through mostly empty streets, the snow plowed to the side. The sky was still dark, but was visibly getting lighter as the sun approached the horizon. The cold air attempted to numb any exposed skin leaving only her nose and cheeks with a stinging sensation. The birds sang their morning songs something Yuma always appreciated. This was normal, and a peaceful morning for Yuma who was on her way to rendezvous with the rest of her team.

She knew her team, but didn't really know her team. She of course learned what she could about them before hand, but was a bit surprised that one of the members of the team was also a member of the new team she would be assigned too permanently, or at least for now. As planned she reached the gate 15 minutes early where she seen a medical staff leaving after dropping off the medical supplies. "Good morning, I am Nue Yuma. I am the medical shinobi assigned to the team in charge of delivering these supplies". She spoke to the guard who was closest to what was happening. The guard simply nodded, and handed her a piece of paper and explained to her it was a list of the items being transported.

Yuma thanked the guard before going through the list, and then she went through the supplies. She began to sort through the items taking the more delicate supplies and adding them to her portion of supplies. She did not doubt the skills of her teammates, but it just made sense to her for her to carry the items that need care. She had more knowledge of the medicine being transported, and in the case they were attacked, she would be the last to fight. She had 10 minutes left until her team would be here if they decided to come on time and not early or late, she would take this time to finish preparations for their trip to the fort south of the village.

With a request from Granny Shuka, Shizuha was assign to a mission with a new team member in her Genin team. Unfortunately at this time, her father was assign for a mission that would lead for his Leave as the leader for the Genin team for the time being. With that though it looked like the two Genin would be assign by a familiar face and close friend to Shizuha. Kaiya was going to be acting upon the leader for the mission which make things even more settle for Shizuha knowing who will be leading the team for today.

Although Shizuha been waking up extra early to get ready for the Chuunin Exams, today she was taking care of the chores that her father would normally do. Being said she was running a little late but not enough to worry as she would gather her belongings and throw on a light coat over her jacket. With her bright red eyes reflecting the light in the kitchen she would put the rest of her gear in her bag before tying her headband to it and then walking out the door.

Walking through the brittle cold didn’t really bother the Yuki all that much but seeing as no one was out wondering the village shows how cold it was.

Approaching the gates she couldn’t tell who was all there. She didn’t really recognize Kaiya there but could also be getting the supplies for the mission. It wasn’t until she got closer when she saw a younger girl going through what looked like supplies of medicine.

"Hello. You must be Yuma. My name is Shizuha you must be my new teammate.”

Unfortunately, the third member of the team was inactive for the day so it would be just the two of them plus Kaiya as well. The only thing is now to see if Kaiya beat Shizuha or if she is just now showing up.

With Life There Is Always Another Chance

In The Light There Is Always Darkness

A simple mission and one that was similar to ones she had done many times in the past. The severe weather of Yuki no Kuni knew nothing of mercy and warmth, but even at the coldest of times Yukigakure and those around would break through. A toughened people all in their own way, able to thrive among the harsh lands.

Transport of medical supplies was easy enough. The specifics of what they had to take unimportant to the young shinobi for all that mattered was that they arrived in the end with their supplies safe and unharmed. Two other shinobi would be accompanying her to which she at least knew one of the names fairly well. The other recognized, but with interactions arguably brief if she even happened to remember any at all. The duo of which seemed to already be present.

Kaiya, a young girl with blonde hair tied atop her head in a large black bow, would have approached the gates calmly as always. The small thing with light steps holding the aura and weight of a harmless feather. Even with her clad in armors she hardly seemed threatening, yet the last of which to arrive even if just after htat of Shizuha. Greetings to take place between the two and the little blonde to shift towards the gate guards to speak with them as well. Sign them out, hand over the mission scroll to be looked over, and then acquire the supplies.

Which… as she would investigate there as well, it seemed the first individual had already begun digging through. "I see you were already sorting through supplies. We should gather what we can and be on our way.” official words yet cooed like a dove, the soft voice of the female almost easy and lulling in its sound. A small nod towards the supplies and thanks to one who offered her a bag, she’d offer ones similar in return to the other girls. Firm bags with padded sides to keep its rectangular shape, yet larger and certainly heavy once they’d be full. To quickly and carefully start packing hers so they might be able to depart quickly and when finished, a look to the other two to catch their progress and see if their conversation had taken a lull.

"Masahiro Kaiya, I hope our mission is successful and safe.”

Mission
Hyōzan Keep has sent a request into the main Village for medical supplies to be delivered, as their stocks are beginning to dwindle. Unfortunately, a buildup of ice on the tracks has made it impossible for the direct route from Yukigakure to pass. While the tracks are being cleared, an assignment has been given for shinobi to deliver the shipment.

Yuma had completed going through the supplies fairly quickly as the supplies were ordered and neat. She considered double checking just to be sure when she noticed someone approaching. She recognized the shinobi immediately as a member of her new team, she would also be her teammate for this mission. She would stand to do greet her with a bow and introduction. ”Hello, you are right I am Nue Yuma, it is nice to meet you.” Before Yuma could speak to her more she heard another voice as someone else approached. It was the Chunin assigned to this mission as their, aside from her rank she had completed this mission numerous times. ”Good morning Ms. Masahiro, it will only take me a second to double check the numbers.”

Yuma did so quickly and efficiently, and continued packing her bag. She had already started earlier and finished ahead of the others. The bag was certainly heavy which meant that they would have to be careful while traversing the terrain. The train tracks freezing over would probably forever be an issue to plague Yukigakure and force teams to travel on foot. Yuma would leave her bag for a moment to help Shizuka pack her bag as well. It looked like Kaiya was about to finish so Yuma decided to go pick up her bag, and secure it firmly so that it didn’t sway much during their travels.

Yuma was ready when Kaiya introduced herself and wished for a safe and successful mission. Yuma would smile if she could, but instead she would give a small bow. ”I hope we also have a safe and successful mission. And for that to happen I will do what I can to keep the team alive if anything were to occur.”

It wasn’t long until everyone arrived. Kaiya showed up pretty much right after Shizuha walked up and even though Shizuha wasn’t familiar with the stuff in the bag she did try to pack it until Yuma showed up next to her and help pack the rest of it. It was going to be a long trip but none the less going to be a fun trip.

Although this is the first time doing anything with her new teammate Shizuha has full confidence in doing missions as she’s with Kaiya once more. This time though it’s Kaiya that is the highest rank and will be leading the team today which is always a fun experience.

"I’m ready when everyone else is.”

She said with a smile before grabbing the bag that was assign to her. This mission could be great experience before the Chuunin exams and also she was able to meet some Genin that just graduated from the academy. This time though she was the second most experience in the team so it was time for her to show what’s she’d learn over the time as being a Genin before heading to Kusagakure for the exams.

"I do wish a safe trip and a successful mission as well.”

She included before awaiting for Kaiya’s orders to head out.

And so they would head out. Official greetings passed around and pleasant atmosphere between the girls. Winter was heavy and ice was thick, but it shouldn’t be a situation that either of them were unused to. Traversing snowy white fields and hills, trees and plains… Yuki no Kuni was a vast expanse of land and housed unimaginable depths. Yet it was always beautiful, or so Kaiya thought. It didn’t bring any longing or dreamy look to her face, but clear blue eyes still wandered about the land as they had been on their way and continued pace.

"What are your skills? It benefits us to know one another.”

A question passed to both hel them with what might come, but also to just pass the time… Kaiya might not have been the most social creature on the planet yet talking had always been something of an interest and a comfort. One could learn a lot that way and it was nice to be able to converse with someone. The softness of her voice would have still rung true though, the girl not at all aggressive in her speech or posture. They’d keep moving along, packs on their backs, with her able to know a little more about her temporary teammate.
