Himishi Haruka

Haruka winced as her attempted kick was easily ensnared by her religious opponent. No, don't do it. Haruka thought as her leg was fully ensnared by the chain mace. Reaching for a metal ball, well, one of many she carried on her, the Himishi threw it straight at the helmet's opening, shielding her face in the event the Kakukyu would blowback to her. The fire was a good distraction but was ever painful no matter however big the blast was. She was almost certain that the blast would and least disorient, if not, possibly harm the woman, weakening her full swing of the presumably younger shinobi.

If she got success one way or the other, not only would the Himishi feel the effects of the flame as well but she would use the possible disorientation to handstand and yank hard against the weapon, both to attempt to free herself or disarm Eiko. Haruka used the momentum of the cartwheel to stand back up, weaving seals again to fire a new blast of wind bullets. She couldn't really mix up her moves, she didn't know many jutsus so she had to think a little smarter to beat Eiko if she can.

"How will I do this?" Haruka thought outloud.

It can also gives her great ability of her own intelligence locked behind the eye. From the Tōzasō aspect, Haruka attains a great level of perception both in tacking and reading any given situation, exponentially increasing strategic or investigating abilities. The strongest boon is the ability to track movement from both powerups granted by the past and present eye. Every minute detail is tracked at great speeds for Haruka.

Even before the Tomekenzangan, the girl has always had an almost metahuman intelligence, able to decipher a large number of details in seconds and map out events with marks like a video into the event. The Genin is even capable of quick, logical thought, all while maintaining a long term-memory of the details. Boosted by the Dōjutsu's passive effects, the girl's ability to recall and process new information increases exponentially. Every cognitive ability is boosted allowing the girl to process and retain much information new or old. Haruka easily surpasses genius levels thanks to both the great boons of her blood and her eyes.

This technique causes the target to hear a high pitched tone in their ear, it being so painful that most targets claw at their ears. The technique is initiated through the audio cue of a whistle going from low to high. Due to this, many individuals have mistaken this technique for sound ninjutsu.

DESCRIPTION:
After the formation of the Bird hand seal, the Shinobi will knead chakra in their gut. From there, the chakra will be formed into one to six orbs. When expelled, these orbs move with enough concussive force to knock the wind out of its targets. With enough power to dent wood, a hit from one these bullets to the head is enough to render a man unconscious.

Rentaro took the moment to look directly into his opponent's movements and the way his ability worked. From what he could tell so far he was able to essentially absorb the chakra from his ninjutsu and use its energy to fight him back. It didn't even matter if it was something that had a physical form like a stone clone, as long as it had chakra and his body could touch it he was going to have the upper hand. The man was a quite complicated opponent to deal with, he could fight him using taijutsu but his armor would mostly protect him from any direct attacks. The only option was to attempt to use an indirect attack, something that will not be sent directly towards him, something he wouldn't be able to physically touch. He had one jutsu in store that could do that and it was at least worth giving it a shot.

He stood aside from the rock he was hiding from and revealed himself to his opponent, taking a few steps forward, before performing a string of hand seals. "Nah... I was just checking out how that light of yours works." After the string of hand seals was done, he slammed both of his hands on the ground and started to manipulate the shape of the earth that was below the Hound of Hikari. The earth below his opponent would begin to shake due to the shifting of the earth right below him. Only for the earth that he was standing on beginning to split in half. If his opponent didn't move away from his attack he would find himself falling into the hole that would be formed right below his feet that was around 20 feet deep. Earth started to pile up where the entire hole was being formed to ensure that he wouldn't escape from the hole below him just by merely jumping or moving aside.

DESCRIPTION:
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user slams their hand(s) against the floor and begins manipulating the shape of the earth around them. What the technique allows one to accomplish is split the earth (typically in a circle) apart from itself and gradually move it away. While the earth is moving away from the rest of the ground, it begins to form a hill or cliff-like shape behind the user. This allows one to trap a singular person on a small platform of earth while moving the rest of it away from them in a short amount of time. The earth can be moved up to 50 yards away and the crevice left below can be anywhere from 1 yard to 100 yards deep at least.

This jutsu was designed by Iwagakure shinobi to be performed in tandem with dozens of others. If enough shinobi get together, they can surround even a mansion and use this together to separate the establishment from everything else, while simultaneously creating a moat around it and walls around even that.

From a young age, Rentaro has demonstrated to have a high level of intelligence. Although, lacking aptitude in ninjutsu when he was young. He was able to understand ninjutsu theory with ease and has proven to be able to discover possible applications through its knowledge. Scoring the highest in Academy written exams without any issues. Always keeping track of people's mannerisms, strengths, and weaknesses. His remarkable intellect allows him to be several steps ahead of his enemy. Due to this, he is able to see through deceptions and elaborated lies that may fool the average person. He believes that one should get to know their friends, but get to know their enemies even more.

Using tactics that would otherwise be considered be rare and unconventional, is due to the fact he has spent quite some time studying multiple types of combat theory. His intelligence tends to shine through elaborated plans, where he takes into consideration the enemy's strength and the strength of his allies. Followed by resources, time, and other external factors in order to determine the best course of action to deal with the enemy. His strategic thinking mainly relies on small, but quick victories in order to reduce the amount of burnout of his forces and keep the use of resources to a minimum.

Chakra Tank
Rentaro has always possessed high amounts of chakra. One of the reasons why he struggled with ninjutsu from a young age was due to his inherently large chakra pool. Which made it hard for him to initially use jutsus efficiently. Due to the high amount of chakra, he possesses he is able to fight for long periods of time and use multiple jutsus simultaneously without getting tired. This gives him a higher amount of endurance compared to the average Shinobi.

Sharingan (Active)
The famed dojutsu of the Uchiha Clan, an ability very few people can achieve. Although, Rentaro isn't an Uchiha, due to the fact that the eye was transplanted to him from a young age. He was able to access the abilities of the Uchiha Clan's dojutsu, despite not having Uchiha blood in his veins. This increases his perception, awareness, and reaction time. Allowing him to read the movements of his opponents and copy any jutsu that is performed by a Shinobi. He has access to all the abilities of the Sharingan.

The Sharingan is truly Rentaro's greatest asset in a battle, but it also acts as a double-edged sword. Due to the fact that he has no Uchiha blood, it means that the usage of chakra for using the Sharingan is much higher compared to the amount of chakra an Uchiha would require to keep it active. Aside from that, Rentaro is unable to deactivate the Sharingan, so it's constantly active. Because of this, he is forced to cover his eye with a black eye patch to prevent the eye from draining his chakra. Through extensive training and battle experience, Rentaro has access to the Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Enhanced Agility
Rentaro possesses agility that makes him excel in combat, allowing him to move faster than the eye can see with relative ease. This is the result of his extensive training to improve his agility to complement his Sharingan's ability that increases the user's perception and reaction time. Because it doesn't matter if you can see the enemy's movements if you aren't agile enough to dodge them and counter-attack them.

Purple Lightning
A rare ability to use Purple Lightning, through studying ninjutsu and chakra nature theory, Rentaro learned to use a much more powerful version of lightning. Just like the name suggests, he is able to generate purple electricity in some of his jutsus that have increased power. Rentaro normally uses this to engage enemies from a distance.

Eiko was still disorientated, but her focus on the shinobi mostly. She'd see the attempted counter attack, she couldn't perform her attack and dodge though. So she'd merely have to shifter her head and lose more focus on her enemy. Allowing her armor to take the explosion instead, likely to Haruka's dismay this wouldn't be enough to dissuade the religious users actions. She'd be blinded by the smoke and felt the force of the items blast, but it's blast was weaker than a notes and was more flare than danger. A thing that bothered her little was fire, she was someone who'd been so used to it as a blacksmith.

It was also very integral to her manner of unique combat, as the distraction would be enough for the genin to escape unhindered. The mace would still spew out the black liquid some hitting the girl on escape mostly pooling at the maces head. The girl yanking her weapon back, as she'd grit her teeth with a painful growl. Grasping the head of the mace, she'd give it a violent jolt. Causing something akin to flint to to grind together and scrape against the maces outer shell. This action instantly causing the black liquid to ignite, it's fire quickly following the line of black liquid that trailed from the weapon to the genin.

A rather large puddle providing the perfect base for a roaring flame which stood roughly a persons height. Eiko would attempt to dip side to side through the trail of fire, as to make aiming attacks at her harder. The wind bullets possibly losing some of their might as flames ate away at them passing through. Despite being fully armored the hits of wind chakra still hurt when hitting the right spots. Bashing in the spots of armor hitting the girl beneath it.

The Hound of Hikari was attentive as he'd wait for any sign of his opponent. To his surprise and amusement Rentaro would show himself and announce his presence. The armored man wouldn't wait though for words to be exchanged. They were a jounin after all, so every second needed to count. He'd rush the shinobi covering an impressive distance very quickly, but soon challenged by the earth splitting. Them being in a more mountainous area, the Hound would choose to rush away from the split up the mountain side. Figuring the other side if further split would also risk toppling down the mountain side.

This man didn't have a decent means of ranged attack, so upon escaping the pit fall the Hikari follower would attempt to circle back and chase down Rentaro. He'd need the close proximity to win, but manipulating the land beneath him was a great way to keep him at bay.

This technique is performed with a chain. The chain with the weight on its end is tossed at the foe with the force applied in a specific way, so that if it hits something, it doesn't bounce off, but instead wraps around and ensnares it. This technique is primarily used to trap opponents.

The hell is this? Haruka thought as she got free at the cost of light bruises and burns from the Kakakyu. The black liquid on her was peculiar but Haruka didn't have the time to inspect it as she followed up with her jutsu of air bullets. The currents of wind were met by fire and Haruka wasn't sure what hit or didn't. She had bigger things to worry about, the racing fire and the seemingly charging woman. The Genin knew she had to break that armor if she wanted even the slightest chance. The girl watched the oil still being lit as it was coming to her, but with her edumaction and Tomekenzangan, she hoped time was on her side.

Haruka purposely fell onto one of her knees, placing an explosive tag on the ground clear from the oily blaze. Lifting a singular handseal, the Genin vanished, hopefully, faster than the oil could mark. Reappearing a distance away, the girl took out three shurikens and 3 kunai, wrapping them with explosive tags each. She made absolute sure Eiko was directly in between Haruka and the tag planted. The Kunoichi threw the weapons at Eiko, following up with the same Fūton jutsu as before in hopes the bullets might both push the woman back to the planted tag or help the projectiles reach Eiko faster.

If things went according to the Genin's plan, she'd follow up holding the seal to detonate the barrage of explosions. I really am running out of options, lady! The girl thought as she began to say one word.

DESCRIPTION:
By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

Rentaro continued to manipulate the ground below him and realized the jutsu was indeed effective. He realized that might've found a weakness against his opponent. From what he could he was only able to tell the man used the energy from his attacks to absorb them and strengthen his in return to attack him back. Since he was putting chakra right below the ground itself, he wasn't physically able to absorb the chakra to use it against him. It was an advantage and as long as he knew that he could gain the upper hand in a battle against somebody that relied heavily on close-quarter combat.

He continued to his attack and carried on pouring chakra into the ground in order to continue his attack. Rentaro focused his offensive especially on the ground right in front of his opponent, destabilizing it and making it hard for the attack. Now that he was moving closer to him, all the ground he moved would begin to shift on his sides, covering any of his flanks with earth in order to limit his direction of him. If he was going to head directly towards him he would be able to predict any of his attacks with relative ease.

Eiko would wipe around both her chain maces, as to create an almost shield with the spinning motion. Quickly swaying which spinning circle was blocking her front. Knocking away any of the objects thrown at her, as well as to attempt to dissuade the invisible attacks. The wind would surely pass on most cases, but be relatively ineffective against the braced religious user.

However even deflected the flung off kunai still had explosion notes, so it'd only take a detonation to possibly do damage. Though if the notes were detonated it'd also seem relatively ineffective. The armor taking the brunt of the flame and force, her spinning chain maces would be disrupted, but they'd otherwise remain in action. Lost momentum picked up if not monopolized on, but there'd be little time too.

Even despite the transforming earth the fully armored man didn't seem dissuaded. He'd willing proceed down the trapped path, despite knowing there'd be a reason to the jounin drawing him in. Regardless of how the warrior of light needed to approach Rentaro he'd be rushing to do so. Granted the shifting earth was loud, a sound would call out to everyone. "STOP!" The voice of a woman called out.

She was riding a white steed and wore an armor that had an almost pearl appearance. The coating or material causing light to reflect gloriously off it. It'd be hard too look straight at the woman without being blinded by deflected sunlight. "Your spar must be cut short, there's urgent matters we must head out to attend now." This woman clearly was speaking to the fellow followers of Hikari, her wrist having a bracelet with a dangling chime too.

Haruka was out of options. Her Fūton attack hardly worked at all, and it was incredibly disheartening. Her attempt at detonating the explosive tagged weaponry also didn't look very successful. Haruka's expression became a bit sour, she was quite ready to start using her Tomekenzangan jutsus to decimate Eiko but something in her gut told Haruka to analyze the situation. At this stage, the Genin wasn't sure what else she could do. This armor was tough and it was a big hindrance to Haruka. The Himishi looked at Eiko's joints, where her armor was at its lightest, however, this was just anti-her in every way. The Himishi's eyes continued to spiral as she went over the past movements of Eiko. She had to do it, she had to try fighting the armored girl directly.

Haruka began running at Eiko, knowing full well she was going to lose a fistfight unless she used her Dōjutsu to its full capabilities. The Himishi drew closer and closer, prepared to fight a losing battle, but before she could even get within striking range, a voice called out, yelling 'stop'. The Himishi slid on her feet to stop just in front of Eiko before jumping back only a few meters. Haruka looked at the source and listened to the woman, even in a live spar, she trusted her partner enough to stop fighting as well. The Himishi deactivated her Tomekenzangan and processed the words. 'Urgent matters' called for their rough spar to stop. Haruka couldn't even look at this new person, her armor reflected the sun but she could still hear her without looking at her.

Haruka quickly turned to Eiko, bowing in respect to her. "Felt like I had a great disadvantage against you, I don't know if we call this a draw or my loss, I don't really care. Thank you, Eiko-san for taking your time to spar me." Haruka looked at Eiko as she stood straight, "Go settle those matters, we'll hopefully spar again hopefully later. I had fun!" It was a white lie hidden behind a smile and closed eyes. She was on the verge of losing and ran out of tools to further her combat past a losing fistfight, Haruka relied heavily on range but when that didn't work, she had nothing else to fight with at the moment. She was the epitome of being under duress. The Genin felt her reserves were getting lower, she was going to painfully lose if she had to continue on.

Haruka bowed once more, this was the one to show she was genuine with her words. The Genin looked around for Rentaro, quite happy this ended in what seemingly felt like a draw to her spar.

Even before the Tomekenzangan, the girl has always had an almost metahuman intelligence, able to decipher a large number of details in seconds and map out events with marks like a video into the event. The Genin is even capable of quick, logical thought, all while maintaining a long term-memory of the details. Boosted by the Dōjutsu's passive effects, the girl's ability to recall and process new information increases exponentially. Every cognitive ability is boosted allowing the girl to process and retain much information new or old. Haruka easily surpasses genius levels thanks to both the great boons of her blood and her eyes.

Rentaro had managed to find a fatal weakness towards his opponent and he managed to gain the upper hand in battle. It would've been a pain in the ass if he had to fight him up close, after all the man appeared to have skills superior in taijutsu than him, or well what their equivalent of taijutsu would be. Even if his opponent was at a disadvantage he still pressed on his attack without any signs of stopping or giving up. Which meant that he couldn't rest easy, otherwise the man could potentially gain the upper hand and get close. It ultimately became a battle that would be able to last longer.

As his enemy attempted to get closer, he heard the voice of a woman calling out telling them to stop. Upon the realization that somebody else had decided to intervene, he immediately placed his jutsu down and turned to look at the woman that had arrived. Judging from her appearance, Rentaro deduced that she was a member of their religion. He didn't know the specifics, but for whatever reason, it seemed important. "It seems like our battle will have to be cut short, huh... Well, it was nice sparring with you, certainly a different experience in battle from what I'm normally accustomed to... Whatever issue you guys are having I hope you can resolve it." He said, figuring that they had some issues that needed to be resolved, but didn't dive too much into it.

After that was done, Rentaro turned his attention to look for Haruka as both of their spars had been cut short. Since they weren't that far off from the two, it didn't take that long to track her down. "Yo Haruka... Seems like our spars got cut short." Although he had the advantage for the moment there, he was also making use of his Sharingan, so it drained quite a good amount of chakra from him. He covered his Sharingan with his eyepatch, not having any intentions of further draining his chakra. If Haruka paid attention she would be able to tell that he was slightly exhausted from the spar, which had to do mainly with the usage of his dojutsu.
