Chisami is a relatively short individual in the world of Shinobi, yet her small frame and older age only makes her all the more surprising to folk. With proud, long locks of hair bound at the bottom with golden rings accentuates her tear drop face and darker hair. Eyes of a bright green akin to that of the inside of a lime.

Even in her older age, Chisami proudly bears the passage of time across her face and body: starting to bear wrinkles and looser skin than the tight figure she once was- with more spindling fingers and some whiter strands of hairs starting to form, as well as the stark and sordid expressions bore unto her hard face of high cheek bones and dark skin. She has survived longer than most Shinobi have careers, and for that she is greatly thankful.

Attire:

Her choice of dress in spite of that is still eerily similar to her younger days, with tight fitting spandex and leather, then drooped over looser clothing like cloaks and jackets that cover her body against the winds of Kumogakure no Sato. It is not to say she is without style or class: wissly using a variety of hems, tops and extras when she can afford to not be a Shinobi and very fond of gold bangles, usually wearing multiple on her wrists at times. The rest of her body shows many scars and injuries, more noticeably from recent years and her belief, and they show up as lighrer discolorations across her body if you were to ever see underneath her clothing and to her bare skin.

Even coming to colors, she can still manage to coordinate colors of beige and brown and cream, with the blacks. If pops of color are desired, she would still enjoy pinks (and is not afraid to exemplify the use of hot pink!) When anything out of the ordinary, she loves her royal and brilliant blue colors. But that's rarer to see.

The entourage hardly changes outside of that, save for personal and intimate people in her inner circle, for which the age old dress(es) can be adorned. Still, her headband is worn as a single shoulder pad on her dominant arm: her right and typically found on her cloaks as it is sewn in.

PERSONALITY

Chisami is a proud individual. Proud of her home, her land, her individuality. At heart, Chisami is a protector: protector of culture, her home and other people and a person who is compassionate. Belief is a powerful thing.

Even when all of these things are highlighted: she is harsh. A harsh teacher, even on herself and very critical of her own mistakes. More critical as a teacher and compassionate enough to care that other people's failures are her own, and if they do, she scolds them as if it were her failing herself.

She prides her way of life and community, much like what her religion upholds, she exemplifies those values, only resting herself when others had been fed first, or taken care of. She overworks herself and to the bone for that purpose.

Similarly, she upholds the values of rules, law and the law of her creator: though she lives in debt of her God, abhors evil and cannot let it slide. Allowing others to use chakra and not openly praising her god come hand in hand, she cannot allow evilness or wickedness to thrive. This is indiscriminate of foe or friend - and rue the day of anybody of Kumogakure no sato's shinobi to be found guilty. As her tenets say: she must vanquish it. Whether by murder or by imprisonment to get them to repent.

And to that end: it makes Chisami stubborn. Hardstrong and stuck in her own ways of thinking. She believes in moral truths (that of the natural world) and absolute truths (that of her gods)

Still, she would be a calm and competent leader, benevolent and with a streak of warmonger if that was the fight against evil. She is, however, progressive in other aspects of freedom as in accordance with those laws and tolerant of those outside those beliefs.

BIOGRAPHY

This story starts in the middle, and flashes back to the past. That is - the latter history of a plague that ran through Kumogakure no Sato and Kaminari no Kuni. It starts with a Katana user, a woman who had already put the sword to many enemies and bled from it- and yet, among the battlefields of home with rows of corpses and medics running to and fro, covered from head to toe: Chisami was woeful. How could she fight something that she could not see? How could she defend a home to an enemy that did not practically exist? To her, the plague was every bit worse that she could ever have dealt with.

Two things were sprung of that time, which was her anguish and determination to help her home in any way possible, contracting the same illness but fatefully not dying: and finding Saimu. It was only when half way through her illness that someone had taken her burden. Saimu's efforts spoke for herself and that was when Chisami found her.

And from that, created a life long follower of someone who wanted to defeat pain in the exact same way. To that end, she picked up a shield alongside her Katana and learned the two in one: understanding the tenets of Saimu's will, paying her debt so that she could earn a place in heaven.

Chisami grew up in a family of no clan origin: and so everything needed to be perfect. A predestined and predetermined future of becoming a Shinobi: her mother expected perfection of the girl. Anything less than perfect was not good enough and Chisami grew up in a very critical and harsh household. Their family staying together out of pure attachment, not out of love: but because it was the alleged right thing to do until her father passed and her mother somehow seemed happy for once in her life.

But even through all of that, Chisami was never good enough for her own mother: and strove to perfection in a way that was so damaging that she did not even begin to make friends until well into her Chunin exams, found at the precipice of a waterfall in Takigakure no Sato. So, it was of no surprise that in the present day she found herself being hungry for change in every sense of the word.

She had lived through wars: multiple. She had lived through mad leaders and courageous men and women that she wanted to be just like - and she had her own agenda that was free from the concerning opinions of people that held control over her (like her mother) and to that end, it was only natural that she became a Councillor in Kumogakure no Sato. Interested in change for the better: to never allow a plague like that to ever affect Kumogakure no Sato ever again and to exert Saimu's influence silently over the world.

FIGHTING STYLE

Once upon a time, Chisami may have been the god fearing ninjutsu user. The since ninjutsu user then proclaimed Bukijutsu as a true art form. To that end, decades later, she still professes to use bukijutsu. As of that, she is a close combat fighter preferring nothing else than to be at the helm of all combat and fights. As her religion states, she is always prone to going on the defensive before any offense takes place. Of course, in the scope of undeniable destruction and to ultimately save as many as she can, she can not protect an incoming city levelling attack, but she can try and direct those to safety. Such is the way of life and war.

When her religious powers are active: she becomes much more than that. The unalienable juggernaut that cannot be harmed. When not 'blessed' or 'blessing' someone, she switches to a close combat, but cautious approach. Not as often, of course. But in the interest of self preservation and also keeping to her religious tenets, she would prefer to bind than cut down an enemy - not entirely off the table, not entirely desired all the time.

『Beast of Burden』

Chisami's belief comes in tangible form and benefit: the ability to take the pain from someone and bestow it upon themselves. While they may be liable for every mistake someone else makes, they themselves are completely invulnerable to any form of damage. This comes at the cost of range, and at the cost of a prayer. However, can be dismissed at will.

This tangible benefit is used at every instance to protect others which makes them both at their strongest and their weakest when they have somebody to protect. As long as they can: their life is extended for it, and their bodies are slightly more durable than a normal human's. Chisami could theoretically continue to live thrice a human's natural age. That is if she survives that long

『Bukijutsu Proficiency』

Living as a protector does not come without its sacrifices: Chisami has spent eons of time to learn the art of Bukijutsu and is versed in manners of shield and sword at the same time. She is deadly with them, expressing the dexterity and agility of those only found once a generation. With a weapon in her hands, her strikes are more precise and deadly, her strikes are faster and versed in blocking, deflecting and anything else that may come to mind.

『Stand your ground!』

Her being stalwart and stubborn is not without merit. By every sense of the word, Chisami can ground herself and becomes extremely difficult to displace, disarm and knock over, even by those of a vastly greater physical strength - and causing her to be as durable as the next best thing. Her small size makes her easy to the eye and even easier to underestimate.

『Speed Proficiency』

Being of smaller proportion and greater bukijutsu prowess is not easy, and requires her to keep up to the blisteringly fast Shinobi of her era. She herself is a blur to chakra enhanced dojutsu: making her strikes that much more effective. It means being able to stick to people through thick and thin.

『Stamina』

Blessed by good genetics and an overworking heart, she has become more than the sum of her parts and has boundless energy to match, what had been a healthy chakra pool quuckly manifested as an overwhelming pool of physical energies, her spiritual pool atrophying in the lack of use of it. She could fight for significant amounts of time, maintain her speed for days theoretically and keep up with most youth.
