Angry as fuck all is just how Inei wanted the giant man to be. Toru was performing his part in their little dance amicably. As more and more of the contents of the storeroom were destroyed, their opponent grew more and more angry. He flailed at the coral spears doing little damage to them with his meaty fists. Roaring like an animal, the brute launched himself at the nearest body, which happened to be Inei and it was exactly what the shinobi wanted.

Inei swirled the blood in his mouth and as the giant lumbered closer, taking a swipe at him with a shout, he spat the viscous black substance right into his face as he twirled out of the way.

He brought the Kiba down in an ‘X’ swing, striking into the man’s shoulder and spat the remainder of the blood at the wound. His black stained lips curled into a smirk and he aimed a kick to push back and put distance between the two of them.

With a wave of a hand seal, as if the blood had a mind of its own, it seeped into the raging man’s open mouth and cuts and slipped into his bloodstream and system. It wouldn’t take long for the poison to take effect, slowing his movements down to a crawl and eventually it would worm its way to the man’s heart, lungs, even his brain.

Whatever was going on the man was definitely struggling, and the angrier he was getting the easier it was to get him to mess up. Soon, Inei had him on the ground and bleeding. Toru refocused his efforts to destroying the rest of the area. The coral grew intensely from the ground, and using his shroud it was easier to manipulate from underneath each table and light until they were standing in the midst of informational carnage. They were here to destroy the information, collect and destroy. That was all they really needed to do anyway. And this larger man was the only one that had come with any kind of power to swing at them.

Perhaps there were others, but they could hardly rely on their memories to recreate something as intense as this... Whatever it was. Indeed, Inei and Toru were at the end of their mission and Toru was quite content with this.

"Is he gone yet?" The young Mizukage asked, looking towards Inei almost curiously despite the bright red beacon of his shroud making that curiosity look a bit more menacing. The moment he knew that the large man had been perfectly dispatched, that would be when he knew that the shroud could be put away.

He felt his blood surging through the giant's veins and arteries as he lumbered around and tried to get some hits on the shinobi who had literally destroyed the entirety of the drugs stash. The thick substance bound and wound itself through his muscles, weighing them down, clogging through his arteries, and grinding his entire cardiovascular system to a halt. The brute began to slow down, growing deep red, and then pale before stuttering to a halt and tripping over a stretch of coral, fell to his knees.

Inei swore the ground shook a little when the giant of a man hit the floor. He snickered to himself as he approached the still body, kicking it with his boot even as his blood clogged the guy's heart into oblivion. He swung one of the Kiba's around, hooking it around the man's neck and ripping it through with a strong pull, decapitating him and causing blood to spurt over the rubble. It was pretty unnecessary, with a non-functioning heart, but better to make sure the bastard didn't have some resurrection alongside the steroids coursing through his veins.

"He's gone," he said cheerfully, flipping the bloodied Kiba up so he could wipe the stains off with his sleeve. "Went down rather easily. Shame."

Inei looked around at the wreckage that they had caused, kicking some shards of glass and pills to skitter across the floor. Basically mission completed, but still nothing that pointed exactly how the criminals had managed to get their hands on the goods. "Want to look around for any documentation? Or should we call it here?" Inei didn't care either way. Leave that decision to the little Kage.

"A shame indeed..." Toru remarked blandly. It was a shame, at least in terms that it was a lot more interesting to have a good fight. But it was not so much a shame, in that it made their mission just a little easier.

Toru took a few moments longer to dig through the rubble. He had no way to sense it out, but he had picked up samples of drugs and pieces of paper that seemed important. He hoped it would lead the village to a better resolution, for now though it seemed that this was all they could do on this mission and he was not about to pursue further. Sure, the two of them could continue fighting. But they had to return home and submit their mission findings so that the next step could be processed accordingly. If a next step was necessary, and he had a feeling it would be necessary.

The shroud around his body started to dissipate until he returned to the state of the little Mizukage. Short and fairly lacking any threatening quality at all aside from his menacing stare and being armed excessively. He stretched popping his back before beginning to move towards where they had entered.

"No point in lingering on a dead end. Let's head home for our debrief." There was a pause and he sighed.

"We should also get someone to clean up this mess so it doesn't leak into the soil. Think you can do that?"

After the Kiba were cleaned up to his standards, Inei resheathed the hooked blades at his waist. He kicked at the corpses, disappointed he hadn’t been able to have more fun with the whole thing.

Moving from the bodies, the scientist crouched down to look through the rubble and see just what sorts of drugs had been stored down in the pit and take note - perhaps he could come up with a way to utilize their experiments down here and turn them into his own.

The red glow that had appeared around Toru dimmed, taking Inei's attention once again. He watched with his ever present smile as the boy began to take his leave of the pit. It seemed he wanted to wrap this whole debacle up nearly, with a bow. Inei couldn't find fault in that.

Until the little Kage decided to use that authority he had and tell the older man to clean up the disaster zone before it could poison the ground water for the nearby town. The order caused the corner of Inei's smile to twitch. He was not going to be reduced to a cleaning crew role - he was above that by lightyears.

Perhaps he could get Enyo's sensei to make the genin team do it. Fun the thought may be, it would take actual paperwork to make that happen, and he didn't want to do even more after this mission. Instead, he pressed his fingers against the hidden earpiece he had and called up a few of his higher ranked guinea pigs assistants.

Delegating, that's what he was doing. Inei delegated the chore to the peons before heading out of the pit himself to make sure they managed to find the place before he himself would return to the Village to write his report

With the clean-up delegated and therefore taken care of, the two of them could leave once the crew properly arrived. Toru was silent the majority of the way, only making slight comments, or sighs. Home came in due time, and they went through the gates with their identification scrolls, Toru immediately escorted towards the main administrative tower, with a debrief scheduled for them both to attend separately to recount what happened and explain what they had discovered.

There was more to do, but for now their job had concluded and payment was made filling their pockets adequately. Most could live on one mission a month of this sort, though many went on more missions than that - especially genin and chunin - to line their pockets a little more.

Toru, however, for now settled in his office with a cup of tea and to gaze out a nearby window, watching the mist shift in the soft breeze. It was a long time coming, but they were healing, and he was exceptionally happy for that. Perhaps in the time of his rule they could improve even more. Toru was not one who believed in stagnation and so it was no surprise that he saw the villages success as an extension of his own.
