He forgave her, but she still felt a lingering sense of shame as she made her way back with her father back to the village, and she didn't feel it was right to really say anything. She messed up, and she would stew and reflect on that, and over the passing day would steel to herself that next time, she'd do what she had to do, no matter the circumstances. Still, it was rough, and it seemed to be something that she kept to herself, for a while. That was until she came to try to hold her father's right hand with her smaller left one on their way back. The mission was completed, and while she didn't prove herself in this instance, not yet anyways, she thought about training when she returned home. Prove her prowess and worth further. Keep on growing and developing to that next threshold. That sounded like a plan.
"Thank you for taking me out on my first mission Tou-San" She says with a soft shade of pink on her cheeks. While they walked home, she wondered what he thought of her, what he was feeling all the time, considering he sounded stern, and solemn, and likely had so many high expectations in the future, though he didn't voice any and such. He seemed interested in her as an individual, and she in a way was kind of afraid of his thoughts and impressions. How couldn't she be? He was a man from a fairly prominent high position, and he said that he was her father. That was something that was blowing her mind, and she couldn't wrap her head around it.
Especially seeing she didn't talk to her own mother about it yet. "The next time, I'll do better." She promises, and with it, she looked to head back home as she experienced slowly growing up, little by little as she sought to advance her career as a Genin of Konoha.
