It wasn't that she disliked Rentaro, well, not as much as she did before her journey. But right now, she couldn't really stick to her frustrations. The Genin needed a still mind and steeled resolves for the upcoming Exams. Haruka heard her cousin also joined and because of that, she needed to be at her absolute best to protect both of them. With him not a part of the envoy between her and Rentaro, she assumed he came with his own escort. Haruka asked Rentaro to get in touch with the escort of her cousin. She, personally, wanted a different training partner for the moment.

Haruka waited outside the dorms assigned to the Genin at the dedicated training lot. Lying on the ground, Haruka simply watched the clouds overhead, she felt a sense of peace, one of relaxation. She didn't really know who his escort was nor what they were capable of. Easily, the girl could be in over her head thinking she could take on this person. Hell, if they were able to escort Jou here, they probably were of really high rank, so it was more than likely she was in over her head.

I wonder where they are or if they even took my request seriously... Did Rentaro even ask them? Thoughts would idly pass through her head like raindrops on pavements, existing for a time before bursting and washing away. She really needed to get in physical shape to take on the inevitable Exams.

With crystal clarity, the girl is capable of recalling information and memories down to a surreal level. As if she could live in it, it also grants her capabilities to look through memories and implant her own or even reconstruct the other's memory through the use of clan jutsu. It can also gives her great ability of her own intelligence locked behind the eye. From the Tōzasō aspect, Haruka attains a great level of perception both in tacking and reading any given situation, exponentially increasing strategic or investigating abilities. The strongest boon is the ability to track movement from both powerups granted by the past and present eye. Every minute detail is tracked at great speeds for Haruka.

Even before the Tomekenzangan, the girl has always had an almost metahuman intelligence, able to decipher a large number of details in seconds and map out events with marks like a video into the event. The Genin is even capable of quick, logical thought, all while maintaining a long term-memory of the details. Boosted by the Dōjutsu's passive effects, the girl's ability to recall and process new information increases exponentially. Every cognitive ability is boosted allowing the girl to process and retain much information new or old. Haruka easily surpasses genius levels thanks to both the great boons of her blood and her eyes.

A Lesson in Fire

Yoshiko certainly was a proud teacher and felt herself to be quite capable. However Jou really wasn't her student, she was no longer raising the genin and now was her own operations team leader. Well she was a team leader, clan leader and gang leader really. A mixture of responsibilities which only improved the girls self confidence. Granted the jounin's confidence was really never an issue, Jou might of needed a bit more, but hopefully her relentless optimism and faith had worked to improve his. If it hadn't she couldn't hold it too strongly against herself, she was only really a teacher to him in passing.

Even then though, she did still agree to escort the boy to the chuunin exams. She hadn't really thought about if she'd be the best to do so. That stated there was weirdly no surprise when she was challenged for doing so. Perhaps her actions had caused drama she couldn't foresee, it'd be fine though they were both Iwagakure shinobi. She was confident they'd be able to talk this out, but weirdly the kunoichi was equally interested to see this challenger. Rentaro had passed on the necessary information; name, appearance and rank. A genin? It was always nice to see her fellow shinobi so brave.

Dressed in her standard battle affair, she'd arrive outside the genin quarters basically right on time. She didn't know their surroundings well, so it'd been hard to guarantee anything early. She'd note the person who best fit the description and she'd wave a hand to the younger kunoichi. "Hai-yo~! You must be Himishi Haruka right?" Yoshiko spoke in a chipper tone and lacked any imposing features, she was a soft and bubbly person. Her outfit battle ready was still made of finer fabrics and embroidered with her clan's insignia and village.

The girl wasn't entirely sure if she had even the slightest clue of who'd they send. Most of Iwagakure's forces were unknown to her. Taki, her cousin, Jou, Suikazua, Rentaro, her other cousin Ai, and Takara were the only shinobi she knew of. The Kunoichi was certain the Tsuchikage herself wouldn't escort Jou, and she wasn't too sure she'd send Suika given, if Haruka recalled, that girl wasn't a high enough rank. The Himishi methodically tried thinking of occupational roles instead of direct people. A team leader would be best but like her, the Himishi wasn't sure Jou even had a sensei, that is how she got Rentaro, the Tsuchikage's assistant to escort her. The girl covered her mouth as she yawned, thinking over it was honestly, pretty tiring. The girl felt her eyes get a tad heavy before she was suddenly disturbed from her near-siesta.

The feminine shout took a little longer than Haruka would like to admit to register. When it did, she sat up just as the shout started addressing her specifically. Haruka blinked, Oh, that must be the person Rentaro as- As Haruka turned over to face the woman that addressed her, the Genin was taken aback slightly. "Of everyone... Jou got Nōhime Yoshiko?" She's seen her in passing, heard about her, addressed in both her name and her nickname. But, unlike Jou, she's never met the girl. To Haruka, she was just a face and a name, until now that is.

Pushing herself off the ground, Haruka dusted herself off before give an introductory bow. Rising up, the girl flashed the smallest of smiles. "Correct, Himishi Haruka, Genin of Iwagakure. Excuse my manners, you're the crazy hard-worker Yoshiko of the Nōhime clan, right? If I'm not mistaken, you're the person I'm to fight... train with, right?" The Himishi wasn't as clueless as her words let on, she asked Rentaro if he could send Jou's escort, Yoshiko is now here, even an academy student could put two-and-two together. But, the girl was told her intelligence made her come off as harsh, and she had a rather silver tongue? It was what she was told but Haruka never really thought about it until now.

She wanted to be a good person but her intelligence made her cross. A sharp tongue only made her have good intentions but not-so-stellar execution. But, if she did confirm she was indeed Yoshiko, Haruka figured it was safe? to let her full personality out.

The second is more of a nimble body to evade larger actions with a nimble intricacy similar to that of a freshly minted acrobatic shinobi. As time progresses, she will have more of a boost, albeit half of that of a dedicated boon in either area.

A Lesson in Fire

The Nohime was a bit surprised to hear her own name, but perhaps the flow of information truly had been two ways. Or gone full circle. She'd be greeted with quite the bow, to which the brunette had to mirror. A sign of respect and a show of formal decency. Inspiring to see the youth so courteous, a thought which went for both of them truthfully. Her name had already been recited, but soon after Haruka would further embellish the jounin and puff up her internal ego.

A genuine grin of excitement showing on Yoshiko's face, it was an honor to be addressed so kindly. Perhaps more typical of someone from a clan, but still always a pleasure to know people thought of her before her father. "Nothing is crazy hard if you put your heart into it! Yes, I am Yoshiko and Rentaro had sent me for escorting Jou. So it's a spar you're looking for?" There'd been a lot stated without much room for interjection, so hopefully her reply got everything covered and made sense in her order delivered. A fight with a Himishi chuunin? Yoshiko wasn't sure if she should hold back or more so how much to hold back. Obviously lethality was out the window.

A part of the jounin's mind lingered on the 'why', but this girl was family to Jou. Perhaps this was some type of test or maybe Jou had said something ahead of time about his guardian to the exam. Too many simple and valid answers for the dust release user to feel justified not prying for information. She'd certainly learn the truth through combat or perhaps from village gossip. She had a good ear to the whispers of her village, but then again she also knew how clans liked to hide things. This was a juicy moment filled with possibility, but for now only could be comprehended as this kind chuunin's interest to better themselves. An interest Yoshiko happily would offer her aid.

She covered her mouth to conceal a yawn, an easy cover to quickly transition to hold her chin and nod along the Nōhime's talking. It did occur to Haruka that maybe she needed to sleep better, but she averaged 9 hours dedicated to sleep. Any more and how could she be a proper Kunoichi? What she would give to sleep 20 hours a day and only work when she needed to, not be on standby. Haruka moved her hand to reveal a slight smile followed by a respectful bow. "That is correct, Yoshiko-senpai. My Taijutsu skills are a bit lacking, I am not built for taijutsu but for Nin and Genjutsu. I was hoping that sparring with a variety of skill levels would help me better understand my flaws so I can work on bettering myself even further as a Kunoichi of Iwagakure."

Despite her perpetual lazy/tired state, the girl was at least fair enough to herself to mark herself as a pretty difficult opponent, she slipped off the weights on her arms and legs and gave Yoshiko a warm, closed-eyed smile. She got in a battle-ready stance, her guard was more relaxed given her style of fighting. The Nōhime clan, owners of Jinton. A long-feared ability for its immense killing and destructive power, Yoshiko would almost certainly not use it here, but if that was her ace card, what else is she capable of.

"As this spar is to better myself and the rank difference is vast, I just ask you to use what is reasonable and if I exceed the expected threshold, please raise the intensity to the next tier. I am very sure that your skill can do that, you are the legendary Yoshiko after all." Requests and compliments given now as she was certain she would be in a rather pained state to give any later.

"Annnnnnnnnndddddd BEGIN!"

With an elongated word to beckon attention to be at the ready, as soon as the green flag was waved, the girl attempted to race at Yoshiko, in hopes of jumping to drive a knee to her chest. But as Rentaro stated, she kept attention to not just her bodily actions but the intent within her eyes, something not even her Tomekenzangan can read.

A Lesson in Fire

"Taijutsu certainly isn't my expertise, but all the more reason I can show you what ninjutsu can do to change that." Yoshiko would explain as she was quite the ninjutsu enthusiast. To her this was an amble opportunity to prove that close range fighting wasn't out of a ninjutsu specialists limits. As the Nohime strongly believed all problems could be solved with ninjutsu, there was clearly a sense of pride and confidence beaming from the jounin. A challenger like the youth before her was a good chance to exercise her skills and learn of this Himishi's prowess.

There'd be a subtle look of surprise and humor on the brunette's face, as she'd never heard herself referred to as legendary. "I've never heard such high praise, nor do I deserve it. Thank you though, haha! I needed the laugh." The jounin would exclaim, as she'd to her better knowledge never really perform any legendary act. She was the leader of her clan for having mastered a deadly skill, she'd yet to use it in a truly grand manner. Her village might benefit from her, but it did so from all the shinobi. She'd not want a cent more praise, especially not without the feats to back the boast.

Yoshiko would quickly perform her light weight rock technique, as the fight started and the genin charged. A single hand seal following the cast of her doton technique, Yoshiko would cast a simple and weak wind technique. It'd seem to be aimed to block the knee strike, but the actual gust of wind was laughable. At least it'd feel that way upon the Himishi's attack, but the jounin would seemingly be ejected backwards. Upon this ejection the Nohime would start quickly hammering out ten seals with one hand.

SA Worth Mention:
Super Natural Chakra Control
Nohime are normally blessed with an enhanced level of chakra control, but Yoshiko's is profoundly greater than those of her age. She's certainly got above average chakra control for a Jounin, as well as practice and uses it to the height of it's ability. Honed via her complex Kekkei Touta, Sensory Ninjutsu and Growing Library of Jutsu. Yoshiko is capable of casting most jutsu with the almost the bear amount of chakra to perform it. Some within her clan even believe her control to be that of a super human. As she's accomplished feats most didn't and those who did were much older.

One Handed Ninjutsu
Yoshiko having mastered the art of holding a jinton shape in one hand, decided to use such knowledge to push the rest of her ninjutsu too. Thanks to her amazing chakra control, her ability to hold a powerful jinton shape with that control, and growing interest to expand her ninjutsu. Yoshiko has mastered one handed ninjutsu casting for her non-elemental ninjutsu, as well as basic elemental ninjutsu of her natural affinities. [Ninjutsu Techniques that aren't Jinton] When developing jutsu Yoshiko had developed multiple that only took one hand sign, so for her mastering this ability for the rest of her ninjutsu was child's play.

Ace Pilot:
Yoshiko ever since she learned the technique light weight rock technique, has been an abide user of it both in and out of combat. When out of combat she uses it as a means of travel, while in combat she uses it to keep out of the fasts range and give herself the extra lightness to move quickly. Thanks to her focus and delivery into this art she's near mastered it and can maintain the technique for a chakra grade lower and when moving just herself between locations can do so at near no chakra cost. Her maneuverability in the sky is near that to a bird and is thus one of few shinobi 'pilots'.

Nin-Taijutsu:
Yoshiko isn't by any means a master of Taijutsu, but wanting to be able to stand in the thick of combat. The Nohime has through clever thinking enhanced her taijutsu prowess, but near purely through the assistance of ninjutsu. She's often able to make up for gaps of strength, speed and delivery with her elemental and non-elemental ninjutsu. This giving her the ability to fight with and hold her own with those of a taijutsu specialization. Practice in this area has caused her even without ninjutsu to fight at the physical capability of a shinobi of equal rank with a taijutsu secondary specialization.

DESCRIPTION:
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user places their hand on an object or person and makes them, or whatever is inside of the object, several times lighter. This can be used on people, making their movements considerably faster for a period of time but makes their physical attacks that much more weaker. It can also be used to make the user or those they touch fly.

DESCRIPTION:
An incredibly weak fuuton technique which pushes the user with a burst of wind nature, this technique barely moves the light weight of Yoshiko, but when combined with the light weighted rock technique it allows Yoshiko to more or less move twice her pace in a sudden burst. This technique has the user chakra the chakra through their whole body and thus can be released from any location on the body.

DESCRIPTION:
After performing the a multitude of hand signs the user will user their chakra to condense the air around them. This condensation of air infused with wind chakra is extremely subtle, but those with sensory or a doujutsu, will see an almost bubble like shape of weak chakra around the user. This wind bubble prevents the effects of natural wind from moving Yoshiko, but more importantly allowed Yoshiko to cast D-rank Fuuton with the use of chakra control instead. While this bubble is around Yoshiko she's weaker to Katon and cannot cast her own Katon without lighting up in a ball of fire.
