We are violence She couldn't really say she was surprise all of her Genin had made it to Round 3. If they weren't capable of at least that, they weren't even worth her time, and she would've done better just sending them back to the academy. But alas, they were proving her right and that brought a good chunk of satisfaction. On top of that, Kasumi was one of the top scores in the whole exam, standing tied in third place with a Leaf Genin, and as far as for the Mist Shinobi, Kazue was the second best behind the feisty girl, and even Kei, the one performing the lowest thus far was still above half of the other Shinobi. They deserved some reward for making her look so good as a sensei, so she invited the three of them to a barbecue restaurant, the very best in the Land of Waters, and quite the expensive one as well. Still, she didn't care much, she was a workaholic with no family, she had the funds to spare, and the occasion called for it. If they were motivated enough, they could make her look even better during the final round, but even though she didn't really admit it - not even to herself - there was a part of her that was proud of her students not for her sake, but for them. It was good to see them grow into capable shinobi, slowly climbing their way to the top, so that they could figure among the strong, the chosen ones. She was excited to see how ruthless they would be in the final round as well, and which type of opponents they were going to face, and she wanted to share some tips with them, as a sensei should. At the designated time, a little after noon, Kyouka would be waiting for them at their reserved table at the restaurant. Kei was the first to show up! 

She was alone in her room when she received the call, or a courier, or an invite, to a BBQ, with teacher! This was... unexpected. Out of three, Kei had the lowest score. She'd think Shark-chan would be mad about it, too. Very perfectionist, that one! Still, Kei would not pass up the opportunity for free food. For this place, Kei wore her neatest, tightest, cleanest bandages, which neatly wrapped around the top of her body, and even washed her cargo pants and stitched the holes on it too, to make herself look as presentable as she can. The girl would approach the nice place, and peer inside. People giving the bandaged girl odd looks, as she checked left and right, until her eyes focused on where Sensei was sitting. She smiled and waved her hand, before coming over to where she was. The girl stopped and bowed lightly, showing respect for teacher.

"Hello, sensei! I have arrived~
I'm sorry that my score is lowest,
I did my best, but not too bright.
At least I have showed up first, right?"

When allowed, Kei would sit, and look over her shoulder, at the door. She would not start, or order any food, not at least until the others would arrive! Which would mean she was alone with her Shark-sensei, one-on-one, eye-to-eye, for now... Something about it made the bandaged girl antsy. She looked left and right, and then at the Hozuki in front of her, and scratched behind her head, smiling under her bandages again like a giant dork.

Poor thing really felt like fish out of the water here. Such a fancy place with such fancy food. She couldn't help but stare at everything. It was like bringing a kid to a toy store for the first time. The table looked too clean and too polished to touch it, let alone eat on it! The girl looked into the empty place and saw her face in its polished surface. She giggled, before straightening up again. This was a public place! She had to act proper to not embarrass her teacher! Looking back at her, she said:

A DEMON HAS PURPOSE

There is only one path left to take.

Kasumi wasn't sure she even wanted to come when she saw the invitation. Her sensei was strong, but definitely whimsical. Hell, most of the times they met Kasumi ended up leaving with something broken. Whether her own bones or her stuff.

This smelled like a trap too. A nice restaurant and free food? From Kyouka?

Needless to saw, Kasumi's hand was on her sword when she arrived, checking the corners like a paranoid psycho. No traps.

Yet.

She spotted her team sitting at a table where they made their own food. Good. That meant Kasumi could be at least somewhat sure it wasn't going to be poisoned. She was the last one there, too. Probably from her excessive caution.

Kasumi was dressed in her full gear, and her hand still on her sword as she approached the table. Slowly, eyes narrowed and searching for paper bombs or kunai traps.

"Greetings. Seems like I'm the last one here, eh? Since when aren't you twenty minutes laze, Bonehead? Oh, right... free food."

She'd take a seat, again with caution.

"So, uh, what's this about?"

Demon Chakra:
Kasumi has become known for her strange chakara form. When in a dire situation, she is capable of releasing her chakra, which in turn takes a strange color unlike the normal blue color of chakra, and takes the form of a demonic cat figure. She is then enveloped in a demon shroud.

This ability grants her a fierce looking aura, that may come off as intimidating and a tenacity to push beyond their normal limits physically- when this mode is activated, Kasumi is harder to knock out or kill and will generally fight for longer than a normal body is capable of.

Keeping this ability active has a medium drain on Kasumi's chakara.


Kenjutsu Training:
Since a young age, Kasumi has felt the weight of a sword in her hands. She's practiced combat with swords, and is able to compete with some of the best sword users around. That said, people who lack training with a sword or intensive Taijutsu tend to be overwhelmed by her skill.

Large Chakra Reserves:
Kasumi was born with higher than average chakara reserves, letting her use more chakara and jutsu without being exhausted. A natural gift from her lineage. She has learned how to properly take advantage of these reserves.

They didn't start off with the right foot, but still, this older Genin was still doing good in the test, despite her lower score when in comparison to the other two. However, the fact that she acknowledged that was good. Kyouka was in a rare good mood, so when the girl showed up she smiled at her and nodded. "Come on, Kei-chan. Take a seat. You are doing alright, so don't fret. I'm proud all of my students came this far, but this was already expected." she said with a confident tone in her voice. Kazue - surprisingly - showed up second. The Kaguya boy was usually late for everything, but maybe food was what was needed to prompt him to become more punctual? She would keep a mental note to that. "Come on, Kazue-chan. You missed nothing. We didn't start eating yet. I gotta congratulate you for your performance thus far, I'm expecting great things from you in the final round." she said, winking at the boy. Kasumi was the one who came in last, and by the looks of it, she was quite suspicious. Maybe that explained why she was the last one to show up. Kyouka had quite the skill in regards to reading people, and seeing that look on Kasumi's face was rather pleasant, prompting the elite jounin to giggle lightly. "The jewel of the team! Welcome Kasumi-chan. Please, seat." despite saying please, it was clear that it was not an option. Once Kasumi seat down, she asked what this was all about and Kyouka sagely nodded. "It's merely a reward for your accomplishments thus far. I hope the three of you will continue to perform well in the fights to come. I expect nothing but victories from ya all!" she said in a light-hearted tone that still sounded like a sort of threat somehow. As she said that, she grabbed the large near her - everyone had a pair of small and large chopsticks near their plate - and placed some meat in the grill in the centre of the table. The rest of the team was there too! 

Kei waved to them as they showed up. Both Kazue and Kasumi did a lot better than she did, so it felt a bit strange to be showered in praise by their normally high-expecting teacher. It felt a bit... unearned, from her part. Still, this was the first gathering and getting together with the closest people Kei had to friends. And it was ... heart-warming in a way. The foods that were brought in were also delicious and much more expensive than anything the bandaged girl ever afforded for herself. So... she was just happy to be along for the ride. When Kyoka announced her team's individual accomplishments, Kei clapped her hands together for them.

"Congrats, you two! You're very strong!
You're at the top of scoring table!
Showed everyone that you are able,
And surely, nothing can go wrong!"

Kei came up with a little rhyme on the spot. With all of them settling in, and starting to eat, the bandaged girl would dig in as well. Though, she waited a little for everyone else to begin, before doing it herself. Placing a few pieces of meat on the hot stone in front of them, and watching it cook with a sense of wonder. This was such an ingenious way to cook things, using a hot stone! The Waruichi had plenty of stones back home. She could repurpose one for just such things. The smell of nice things invaded her nostrils. While it was frying, she looked over at her teacher, Kazue, and Kasumi. The Kaguya had that lackadaisical expression he often had. Kasumi on the other hand was... intense. Her eyes darting back and forth, as if looking for something. She brought so many weapons, too. It made Kei curious. She tilted her head like a pidgeon, as she silently commanded her bandage to extend a little and tap the girl on the shoulder.

Kyouka began cooking some of the meat and he grinned, throwing a few pieces on with sauce if it were provided. "Don't worry about the cat, Kei. She probably just thinks sensei is trying to kill us again. Which is fair, but me, I don't think she'd ever try to poison us or anything. Especially right not in the middle of the exams." He let his pieces of meat get a nice sear before turning them over with the chopsticks. "I'm an idiot, though. So you know... I could be wrong." As it became clear what this meeting was for, Kasumi only could keep a dumbfounded and confused look on her face for a few moments. A celebration? Kasumi wasn't even near first place, she was under at least on Konoha ninja and another mist Shinobi.

"I think I would have preferred the murder attempt." She grunted out, her confusion turning to a sour look. "I thought my sensei didn't take garbage like third place as a victory."

She'd spit to the side, pulling her chair out and sitting with her arms crossed and sending a mild glare at Kyouka.

"Is everything alright? Not really." She answered Kei, ignoring Kazue who never took things seriously enough to get it. "I should be at the top of that board. I've worked way too hard to be sitting in the middle of the pack. I don't need a damned participation award for losing."

She'd lean back, looking away from the table now and glaring at whatever happened along her sight line.

"I won't stop you lot from celebrating failure, though. Eat up."

Demon Chakra:
Kasumi has become known for her strange chakara form. When in a dire situation, she is capable of releasing her chakra, which in turn takes a strange color unlike the normal blue color of chakra, and takes the form of a demonic cat figure. She is then enveloped in a demon shroud.

This ability grants her a fierce looking aura, that may come off as intimidating and a tenacity to push beyond their normal limits physically- when this mode is activated, Kasumi is harder to knock out or kill and will generally fight for longer than a normal body is capable of.

Keeping this ability active has a medium drain on Kasumi's chakara.


Demon sword style:
Since a young age, Kasumi has felt the weight of a sword in her hands. She's practiced combat with swords, and is able to compete with some of the best sword users around. That said, people who lack training with a sword or intensive Taijutsu tend to be overwhelmed by her skill.

Demon chakra pool:
Kasumi was born with higher than average chakara reserves, letting her use more chakara and jutsu without being exhausted. A natural gift from her lineage. She has learned how to properly take advantage of these reserves.
