"a cold disposition". "No matter how many people you may lose, you have no choice but to go on living." SMOKE AND CLONES
It wasn't just Shigure who got some injury from the explosion, as one kunai flew and cut him on the face, nothing dangerous, but it was at least some consolation. Still, the fight was not over and he needed to do something. Kazu removed the shurikens from his arms and threw it towards Shigure, who side stepped to avoid it. He was injured, but not enough to hamper his reflexes and combat readiness. He had a plan in mind, but curiously, Kazu decided to throw a smoke bomb and a kunai at Shigure's direction, and that made him change his plans, as the smoke could work in the Hyuuga's favour. The kunai hit the smoke bomb and created the smokescreen in the battlefield, concealing the Hyuuga, but he could still see and avoiding that projectile was easy.
A quick set of three hand seals and Shigure. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" he exclaimed from inside the smokescreen, lying the name of the technique to try and bait Kazu. He had used the Shadow Clone in his fight against Taki, so it could be seen as a last ditch effort with his current chakra. Instead, Shigure created 3 normal clones, and so his strategy started. Two of the clones would run out of the smoke bomb, one from the left and one from the right, running in a half-circle as they attempted to flank Kazu, as if they were ready to hit him with palm strikes of the Gentle Fist to the side.
The last clone waited inside the smoke screen and what would happen next would depend on how Kazu reacted to the first two clones. If he reacted to them in any way, either by attacking them or trying to avoid them somehow, the last clone would come running in a straight line for a final assault. The real Shigure would follow behind this clone, mimic it's movements and using it to cover himself. His attack would come immediately after the clone, and would be exactly the same; the goal of this last clone was to prompt Kazu to defend himself against the clone, thus leaving himself vulnerable to the real attack coming shortly after. "Shoutei!" Shigure would roar, aiming to hit the boy with a powerful Gentle Fist strike to his solar plexus in an attempt to end the fight.
If he didn't react to the first two clones, he would remain inside the smokescreen with the last clone, waiting for Kazu's reaction before deciding on a course of action.
"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."
Round 3, Bout 3Dodges the shurikens and the kunai, created 3 normal bunshins and sent them to flank Kazu. If Kazu reacted to them, the last clone would come for a frontal assault with the real Shigure mimicking its steps right behind, baiting the Yuki to defend himself against a fake attack, only for the real one to come immediately after.[Yuki Kazu][482 words] |
Items used:Previously: 6 shurikens 3 kunais 2 explosive tags Techniques used:NAME: Bunshin no Jutsu [Clone Technique] RANK: E CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General] ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: 3 DESCRIPTION: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user can create a handful of intangible clones to confuse the enemy. They do not contain solid mass, have no shadows and do not interact with the surrounding environment, making them somewhat easy to distinguish from the real person.
NAME: Shōtei [Palm Bottom] - Circumstantial RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
DESCRIPTION: The user thrusts their palm forward, hitting the enemy’s body with a quick and precise motion. The technique is both basic and deadly; this is because like any other Gentle Fist technique it injects chakra into the target causing a great deal of internal damage. When the technique is used it usually temporarily paralyzes an opponent but the collateral damage is not on par with much more elaborated techniques.
