Coming off as cold, distant, and spiteful, Amaya is what is considered a contrast or antithesis to Yoshiko. Compared to the current clan leader, Amaya is considered the opposite of Yoshiko, the Yin to her Yang.

APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 5'6" (167.64 cm)

Standing at a height of five feet, six inches, Amaya is pretty average in terms of height. The raven-haired brunette maintains a youthful appearance thanks to her peach-toned skin. The lightly toned body is for the most part covered at all times due to distaste for wearing overly revealing clothing. Her raven-colored hair falls to shoulder level and her eyes hold a reddish hue, which may appear magenta or scarlet depending on the lighting in the area.
Amaya's base attire for casual wear usually differs between two sets. A long sleeve blue buttoned blouse with white highlights near her upper torso or a sky-grey-blue blouse with white sleeves, and blue highlights in the same location as aforementioned. Both tops are further kept closed by a red ribbon however her physique doesn't make the outfit really necessitate it, rather it completes the color scheme as a whole. Included in both outfits is a faded grey skirt with a white circular highlight near the hem of the skirt. This skirt usually hangs down only to mid-thigh, a slight risque design for Amaya. She normally wears black socks rising to the middle of her lower leg. Complete with grey colored shoes. She is only really known to wear this clothing when she gets a chance to lounge around.
Amaya's usual shinobi attire adorns a stolen Chūnin flak jacket, the colors are split to accent her physical features under her flak jacket. Alternating colors of a dark tan and red riddled her top while her arms were bare with the exception of her left arm having a nearly elbow-length red glove. This outfit is complete with all brown pants.
Like many SinK operatives, Amaya adorns the black cloak, complete with a hood. While the cloak can be tied shut, Amaya prefers to keep it open unless absolutely necessary for stealth purposes. The sleeves are decorated with white stripes as the hem of the cloak also has white lining. Completed by a white undershirt and black pants. Unless the situation is extremely dire and she has no choice, one would never see this clothing on her during engagement with enemy shinobi outside of organization missions as per organization ruling.
PERSONALITY NINDO: "Don't Bother."
It is no secret the girl is egocentric, but it goes far deeper than that. Amaya has almost a disdain for others merely existing. She doesn't see others in a great light, not even a good light. Through the grace of looking just attractive enough and sounding just kind and cordial enough, Amaya is able to bend and social engineer others to better her gain and stance with as minimal effort to her. Of course, this makes her prone to gaslighting people if her silver tongue pushes them too far. She is a parasite, a neurotic individual whose very being brings the vibe down. However, despite that, people feel sorry she has turned out this way, and try to help her however they can. This is where Amaya shines at using others for personal gain and detaching them from the sheer disdain she has - especially when she has what is most desired and needed.

While considered a core survival emotion, it is predominantly the bulk of Amaya's personality. She has a low tolerance and strong aversion to people and their positivity and those wallowing in their own self-pity or feeding off the pity of others. Not only is this distaste universal and indiscriminate of people, but Amaya is also no better. She is disgusted by traits such as love; care; joy; and the very thought of people helping others makes her want to puke. It is through this disgust however that she does what she is good at.
Distant/Callous~
Amaya has a threshold, a tolerance for things that disgust, disappoint, infuriate, or intimidate her. Each threshold is dependent on every scenario she encounters in life. Once this threshold is met, she comes out with a silver tongue and threats, both words and physical examples of using Jinton against the stressor. Her tone becomes flat and she is prone to irritation, to the point it may create a conflict of the most extreme proportions. While being so conflictive and argumentive, it is not a surprise she loathes people until they finally suit her and serve their purpose, one completed, she is more or less done with the person until she needs to leech off of them again.
Leech/Parasite/Egocentrisim~
Amaya is truly the worst of people to exist. She doesn't care about the needs, accomplishments, or accolades of others, all she really cares about is how well they can serve their purpose. She feeds off the successes of others to push her agenda and doesn't shy away from manipulative, gaslighting tactics that er on the side of psychological and emotional abuse. As long as she gets what she wants and looks better in the process, she doesn't mind using them until it's all said and done, then she is revolted by their very being and how they'll sacrifice their abilities/resources for another.
HISTORY Born into the Nōhime clan in 1005, Amaya was never really expected to be much. A once-in-a-generation child was already born, there was nothing exciting to hope for as it's been already achieved. Much wasn't really expected out of her, thus, Amaya had a somewhat easy childhood to begin with. Like any child proper of the Nōhime clan, she reached the childhood milestones for speaking, walking, and talking at the rate you'd expect. As far as development went, you had an average child who didn't really smile much to begin with. The tune hastened exponentially, however, when the time came to uphold the clan's tradition, teaching the basics of chakra control to a five-year-old.
It was a year before Amaya would start the Academy but the clan was stringent on upholding the tradition even years after the miraculous success of Nōhime Yoshiko. The clan watched with great shock when the girl displayed a high affinity for controlling her chakra, even her understanding of its flow rivaled that of a year experienced Academy Student. Fear of missing out on another great miracle told the clan to utilize the Litmus paper test to understand what her chakra nature was. One hand burned the paper into cinders while the other showed the paper cut in half. It was theorized she had the capability of using Jinton and was quickly slammed to learn about chakra control years before she would be able to in the academy.
By the time Amaya started the academy at the age of 6, she already had graduating levels of chakra control and application knowledge, however, that alone was not enough to pass her. Throughout the rest of her academic years from language, history, and mathematics, to politics, physical training, survival skills, and a review on chakra were all still required of the girl. The years were long and a majority of her grades were slightly above or on par with the average. Amaya wasn't passing by greatness, she was surprisingly feeding off others, cheating, deceiving, and leeching her way to the finish line.
Her academy life was barely covered with distractions and her early start as a student would have seen an early start as a Genin had it not been for Iwa's Civil War starting. The girl was too young to understand that her clan leader and then-current Tsuchikage was the reason the war started with the Tantetsu. Dividing the village between those of and not from clans. During the night when the edge of the earth hung over the clan in the second cour of the war, the outpost Amaya was staying at to keep the Nōhime clan spread out to avoid total annihilation on ambush was attacked. Despite the lack of clan abilities, the rebels were able to overtake and kill every fighting adult.
Amaya, and many other children, were to be slaughtered until the unit’s benevolent leader stopped his men. Instead, each kid was spared but a price tag was placed on every one of their heads before each child was sold off to the highest bidder. With only super fresh shinobi training and a body unfit to fight, the young Nōhime’s name was erased from memory, as the 11-year-old was forced into a life of slavery and servitude. Painful and traumatic memories of horrific acts done to her and made of her beget the girl to not only suppress them but also have her start to abhor people in general for how they treated her. Overhearing how and where she was attained from led Amaya to train and hone whatever ability she held when she was cast aside like a toy and forgotten for the time being.
For the next two years, Amaya kept herself strong, kept herself defiant as she fought hard against the horrific acts and trained even harder to get where she needed to be. Eventually, she had enough and while her captors were sleeping, the 13-year-old broke free of her chains through the concentrated power that is Jinton. Amaya snuck in and assured her captors would never wake up before she utterly wretched at the memories of those years being subjugated to such awful acts. Even worse, Amaya was disgusted at her home having clearly forgotten and abandoned her.
Meeting up with the Mimoto branch of the Kenzai clan during one of their nomadic migrations, Amaya explained her life story to them. Having one had great influence over the land, the Mimotos saw it as their duty to protect those abandoned. As part of their Nomadic tradition, Amaya partook in her guardian’s activities as a way to pay off her debt. In the early morning, the girl honed her Jinton and throughout the day, she performed and learned how to the con people by learning the Mimoto ways. However, the girl once again vanished, this time of her own doing, in the middle of the night without a word. The sixteen-year-old made her way to Iwagakure, in a way to show her home what happens when you forget your own.
However, Amaya was stopped by an Uchiha and offered both a safe haven and a chance to undermine her home. While the thought of being in yet another group sickened her, the Nōhime took the offer, seeing the importance of taking steps.
Soon… the world will understand her words.
FIGHTING STYLE As a Nin/Fūin user, Amaya is more than aware that close-quarter combat is not a fun time for her. While she can fight, her Taijutsu skill is on par with an advanced genin at best. Even still, she fights pretty sturdily, holding her ground and even using clawed weapons to supplement her offense. Alas, even if she supplements her Taijutsu with the various skills of Ninjutsu, she won't be as well protected as she would be at a range.
Besides the obvious defense of having range on an opponent, Amaya is equipped with Ninjutsu to enhance her speed and overall evasive defense. The reason for the evasion, despite having offensive ninjutsu in other areas, currently, Amaya's most dangerous weapons are her Jinton-based jutsus. Rather than risking injury by fighting head-on, despite being capable to some extent; Amaya is more comfortable with staying out of harm's way to prepare a dangerous, taxing, long-charged kill shot.

Jinton | Dust Release Savant
Albeit still relatively new to the use of Jinton, Amaya has proven quite the considerable powerhouse with the rare clan Kekkei Tota. Not quite uncommon anymore but still almost generational, Amaya is one of the few Nōhime considered talented much like the Clan Princess: Nōhime Yoshiko. What makes her so skilled despite mastering it on the younger side is that learning additional components of Jinton comes as naturally as regular elemental ninjutsu. Due to her troubled and tainted younger years, her Jinton has grew into a near azure pigment to further convey her troubled upbringing and her current personality.
Uncanny Nōhime Control
Enhanced chakra control is a powerful trained shinobi ability. In the hands of other shinobi, they are able to mitigate excess use of chakra upon jutsu use and fine-tune the needed chakra input to meet adequate jutsu output. The Nōhime can take that ability to the next level. Rumored as the descendants of the first users of chakra, the clan has the ability and practice to back it. Amaya is no different with her control far beyond control abilities considered natural and thus, the girl has control on par with that of a shinobi one rank above her own.
Fastest Hands in the West
Being specialized in ninjutsu, Amaya has learned how to weave seals faster than most shinobi, this is especially true for Amaya compared to others in her clan. Jinton is an Advanced Release that requires a lot of chakra and a lot of handseals to use, to help her better utilize her release, she has trained her hands and arms to weave seals as fast as they physically can, but this speed is still only relative to her knowledge and skill devoted for seal required ninjutsus.
