[Koketsu Koichi]

Koichi as well as his tiger cub Kumiko were doing a mixture of goofing around and training in a forest somewhere on the outskirts of the Tiger Sage's compound. Naturally, there were wild tigers calling this area home similarly to the areas around the Koketsu compound so Koichi had no problems fitting right in.

Currently, Koichi was stalking a tiger that was minding its own business, drinking from a river. Koichi hid within some bushes nearby, his eyes glued to his 'prey' while Kumiko hid herself in some smaller bushes on the opposite side. Koichi had that same sharp, predatory-like look in his eyes that one would see in a tiger...completely focused and eerily silent.

Kumiko would shift a bit, causing the bush she was hiding in to rustle a little which caused the tiger that the two were stalking to quickly look up, its ears bending a bit in response. This caused both Koichi and Kmiko to retreat back a little in their hiding spots. Fortunately, after a few seconds, the tiger went right back to drinking the water and the moment it did, Koichi grinned mischievously before suddenly rushing out of the bush, Kumiko doing the exact same on her end!

Before the tiger could properly react, the two successfully pounced on the tiger, Koichi biting on its neck, growling a bit while Kumiko chomped down on one of its legs. The tiger was surprised, taken off guard, but it wasn't in any real pain or danger. The tiger roared a bit before easily shaking Koichi and Kumiko off. Koichi fell on his back, but as he did, the young apprentice started to laugh triumphantly while Kumiko ran up to him with a similar look on her face. "Hah! We got ya this time!" Koichi claimed before nodding at Kumiko who also returned the nod. "Predator hunting a predator. Guess that makes Mimi and I Al...Alp...Alph..." Once again, a word was escaping Koichi. Before he could figure it out, the tiger that the two were hunting walked up to them, shifting its eyes to Kumiko and then to Koichi. It then exhaled out of its nose at Koichi's face before walking off.

"Heh, he's just mad cuz he can't beat us super predators, ey, Mimi?" Koichi claimed, the cub purring a bit enthusiastically in agreement to his words. With another grin, Koichi took his eyes off of Kumiko and looked up at the sky while he remained on the ground. His grin then slowly formed into a smile as he took in his surroundings. For a moment, Koichi felt something while he remained stationed there...a soothing feeling that felt as if it were coming from his very surroundings. It felt so...natural...but it didn't last...mostly due to Koichi's restlessness.

His smile faded, making way for an annoyed expression as he sat up, Kumiko looking over at him with her head tilted. "Gaahhh, when is Ryo-sensei gonna teach me something cool?! I can't wait!" he exclaimed in a huff, still as impatient as ever.

Wild Chakra
Koichi was born with large reserves of chakra, allowing him to dish out more jutsu over a short time without running out quickly. He also has the potential to perform multiple stronger jutsu without tiring out quickly, giving him a bit of a possible advantage over those who lack large reserves like he does or proper control of their chakra.

Tiger-like Reflexes
A thing that Koichi picked up from the tigers were their impressive reflexes. Like a tiger driven by instinct, Koichi's reaction time can make it difficult for opponents to land proper hits on him, being able to block and avoid most things with relative ease. Only folks with similar reflexes to his could potentially cause Koichi some problems.

Taki had made her way into Kiri opting to spend these next few days training whilst preparing to get ready for a mission. Not exactly wanting to rear her head in Kirigakure Taki opted instead to maybe go search out Ryo to see if there was anything he could teach her however as always she never expected him to be there. After arriving just outside the large sage compound the girl would take a look around admiring the scenery. "So dis is what it looks like…damn.” as the girl made her way towards the gates she’d knock on the door for just a moment, but got no answer but could faintly hear the sounds of a voice.

"Eyy, Stripes…I know you're in dere!” she’d say her voice echoing throughout the compound as she continued to knock. "Eyy, Taiga boy! I know you're in ere!" she'd shout her voice trailing off yet again. As the girl waited around her duster would sway in the wind as she looked somewhat out of place with the misty surroundings all decked out in her new gear, looking less like a shinobi and more like a wrestler a pair of fishnets, a long leather jacket and her leotard and a little bit of makeup, along with her trusty title belt, almost like she was ready for a show.

"Unfucking believable." Taki would bite her thumb and shortly there after craft a handseal causing a small chimp to appear. "Aki, think you could go get Ryo for me?" after a moment the small ape would nod to his master and make his way inside heading through the outskirts of the forest in order to search for Ryo climbing up a small tree by the river bank and spotting the tigers and the young boy. He'd hoot and mumur rather lowly and his presence more than likely wouldn't go unnoticed by the two tigers who might've recognized him as one of the gorilla summons and may also clue them in that Taki may be present.

Even though he was still a bit upset, Koichi was able to pet Kumiko on the hand a bit as she neared him, purring gently which was enough to make Koichi smile a little. "Yeah you're right, Mimi. We can learn this sage stuff on our own." Koichi said with a hint of triumph in his tone....but then a sneaky expression formed on his face as he stopped petting Kumiko, placing his hand on his chin. "Or you know....we can always ask one of the...other tigers. Surely they or Ryo-sensei won't mind, eh?" Koichi claimed with a mischievous snicker, only for Kumiko to give him an uncertain look, her ears lowering a bit.

Koichi was just about ready to bite down on his thumb...but then he and Kumiko heard loud banging coming from the area where the gate was. "The hell?" Koichi stood up and took a step forward, wondering what the fuss was about...but then he heard something coming from one of the trees. Koichi stopped and looked up at one of the trees, his eyes narrowing at the sight of..."A monkey?" Koichi was sure that there were no monkeys in this area...mostly tigers. "How did you sneak in here?" Koichi asked, pointing up at the monkey. He was ready to try and kick it out...but Koichi noticed how the other tigers did not seem to be bothered by its presence...almost as if they were familiar with it. Kumiko looked more or less curious though, most likely due to her not being a sage-related tiger.

Koichi then remembered the knocking from earlier and looked in the direction of the gates. Was someone else here? With that in mind, Koichi started to head over to the gates with Kumiko following behind. "Better not try anything funny while I'm gone." Koichi pointed once again at the money before heading to the gates.

"Oi, If you're here to see Ryo-sensei then your shit outta luck! The lame-o is almost never here!" Koichi yelled out as he got closer to the gates. He would then proceed to open them anyway before folding his arms behind the back of his head casually. "By the way, if that's your monkey in there, hate to break it to ya, but its already become tiger foo-" Koichi's lie would then be put to a sudden halt the moment he processed who he was talking to. "H-Hold on..." Koichi lowered his arms, his eyes narrowing, while Kumiko just sat there politely, her tail swaying back and forth. "You're that weird blonde chick with no pants...that beat the crap outta Shomaru!" he exclaimed, pointing at her accusingly.

Taki seemed unimpressed and looked down towards him "Yeah and I’ll whoop your little ass too if you don’t get outta my way…” she’d say pushing him aside. "You Ryo’s new apprentice…?” she’d say looking around at the place, getting the same sense of serenity she felt being at the gorilla compound.

She’d then turn around as she looked to him. "You don’t look like much…” she’d say but then smiled a little. "But neither did I when I foist started.” the girl stood about placing her hands on her hips.

"Aki…!” she’d say calling out to her small gorilla companion who was busy bumping into a baby tiger the two playing like little children, but upon hearing his name would rush to the side of his master dashing through the field and running up her shoulder and on to the top of her hat.

She’d stroke the bottom of his chin and he’d chuckle only to turn her eyes back towards the boy. "So where is the guy, absent like always?” she’d say.

"Wha-" Koichi didn't even get a chance to respond to the threat, finding himself being effortlessly pushed out of the way by the leotard girl, having a mixture of surprise...and growing anger on his face. Kumiko, his tiger cub just walked over to Koichi's side and continued to watch the two curiously. He still couldn't believe that this chick had the audacity to not just waltz up into the compound...but push him out of the way as if he were nothing! Koichi was fuming with his arms now crossed, not even answering the older girl's question about him being an apprentice.

Then...he heard her say something that tipped him further to the edge!

"E-Excuse you?" Koichi said under his breath as his expression shifted from mildly annoyed...to fuming! His arms were now on his sides and the boy started to grit his teeth which caused his tiger cub to look up at him, giving an expression similar to one saying, 'oh, boy here we go again...'

Koichi did not even focus on any of the things this lady said after claiming that he didn't look like much, nor did he pay attention to that monkey on top of her head. Koichi was giving in to his temper yet again...which tends to not end well for him.

"Say whatever the hell ya want about the other two...But underesta...underestama...un...LOOKING DOWN on Koketsu Koichi will be your last mistake, dumbass!" Koichi claimed as he slammed his fist into the open palm of his other hand. Koichi's gritting teeth formed into a wicked grin as he balled up his fists and then pumped chakra into his feet to run at the chick instantly at top speed! He was aiming to punch her right in the fist....showing just how much of a loose cannon he really is. Meanwhile, Kumiko just sat there and watched, sighing lightly at how...rash the boy is.

But after a moment he’d begin to charge her, and as she heard his footsteps approach the girl would swiftly turn around and keep her arms out in a stance, she knew exactly how to counter this.

After a moment she’d grab hold of him placing one arm in between his legs and the other around his shoulder hooking him and would then swiftly turn her body over using his own momentum to aid in her rotations he was in the air for only a few second and after a moment. "BAM!” he’d slam into his his head and back colliding skull first as the girl used her clans patented powerslam to bring him down.

After a moment the girl would get up looking down at the boy, if she’d notice her belt would read Sage embedded in the gold signifying her position. "You little brat.” she’d cross her arms. "Some sage apprentice you are…!” after looking around however she’d notice something.

The place was empty, other than the animals this place was empty "I guess if ya teacha ain’t here I oughta bounce…can’t believe I wasted my time on awl o dis.” she’d make her way towards the gates practically ready to leave.

Like a bull, Koichi was seeing red at this point. He was determined to close this distance and land a good ol punch on this blonde chick! He was not doing this to defend the honor of his sensei or the other apprentice...but simply because the chick pissed him off!

Unfortunately for Koichi, he was about to quickly find out that he was way out of this lady's league.

Before Koichi could even properly react, Taki made quick work of grappling onto the hotheaded apprentice. "Wa-" Koichi was now being held in the air, but it didn't last long....as he then found himself being rotated then SLAMMED into the ground! "Gah!" There was a jolt of pain from the impact, specifically coming from his back and skull, immediately holding onto his head with both hands as a response. "Shit, that hurt!" Koichi complained, writhing a bit with his eyes slammed shut.

Meanwhile, Kumiko just sat there and sighed lightly, not surprised that something like this happened. The number of fights Koichi has tried to pick with folks way out of his league was...hard to pin down. It was a miracle that he was still alive up to this point.

Koichi finally opened his eyes as the blonde spoke, gritting his teeth as he was about to shout something at her in frustration...but then something caught his attention. That fancy belt of hers...it had the word 'Sage' written on it. "Wait!" Koichi shouted, as he tried to quickly get back up...wobbling a bit in the process. "That belt...you're a sage aren't ya?" Koichi would ask before making his way over to her, still wincing a bit while his tiger cub walked beside him, making sure he won't fall on his ass. At first, Koichi thought that all sages were old farts, but after seeing Ryo, he didn't really question it anymore.

Koichi remained quiet, staring the blonde down if she hadn't left. For a second, it looked like Koichi was ready to strike again..but instead, he ended up pumping his fists. "Teach me how to do that!" he said, giving her a challenging grin. Koichi certainly didn't waste time getting to the point. Kumiko then gave Koichi a puzzled look as if she wanted to comment on the boy's change of tune. Koichi would catch the judgemental look the cub was giving him, causing his grin to fade as he crossed his arms. "What? It ain't like Ryo-sensei's gonna teach us anything anytime soon." he added before looking away while muttering.

As the girl made her way towards the door she’d hear the little boy seemingly call for her to wait, the girl would stop placing a hand on her hip to hear him out tilting her head back towards him as he asked his query. "Yeah what about it?" turn towards her asking how she did that and then subsequently asking her to teach him. "You expect me to teach you after what you just did, you got some noive!” she’d turn about and shout her brow furrowed and her disposition one of fury, the small chimp on her shoulder looking to her with a confused look.

"You wanna learn from the Okada you come to Iwa and join the gym like everyone else.” but after she spoke he’d then make a remark about how his teacher was never around, which would cause the girl to pause for a moment. She was something of a self made sage with the majority of her training coming from things she figured out on her own and a little bit of empathy for the kid maybe if he was around more he wouldn't have turned out like this. With a roll of her eyes she'd look down at him.

"So your teacha really ain’t neva here.” the girl would then sigh. "Look I can’t teach ya my techniques but I can at least teach ya how to meditate did the blowhard show ya how to do dat?” Taki wasn’t fully taught the concept herself so she simply practiced on her own.

Since she didn't have the actual know how to know when to stop she'd often summon her sage animal to do it for her by transferring sage mode energy on her behalf and taking it in from them, and while this isn’t a problem anymore it was a good work around for the time being.

Koichi didn't seem all that guilty about attempting to attack Taki and then having the audacity to follow it up by asking her to train him. If anything, the teen looked slightly annoyed since it sounded like she wasn't going to show him anything. "C'mon just show me!" Koichi protested a bit while his tiger cub familiar shook her head lightly at how Koichi was behaving. Impatient and careless were some of the boy's more dominant traits after all.

His disappointment only increased after the lady started talking about some gym...all the way in Iwa!? Koichi didn't understand why the lady couldn't just teach him here. He groaned in annoyance before muttering those words about his absent sensei...which seems to have caught the blonde's attention.

Although Kumiko did not completely agree with how Koichi was acting, the tiger cub still felt bad for Koichi since she knows full well how badly the young apprentice wishes to train. The cub walked up to the side of Koichi's leg and purred a bit in an attempt to comfort him, which stopped Koichi from pouting. He instead crouched down to the cub's level and started petting her. "Heh you're right, Mimi. Who needs a dumb teacher anywa-" But before he could finish that, Koichi heard the blonde's words, causing him to look up at her.

"Yeah...." he answered as he looked away, regarding the constant absence of his sensei. His tone was bitter...and distant as well. It made his familiar frown a bit, trying to snuggle up to the teen to comfort him. The blonde continued to speak and Koichi listened. He looked slightly annoyed once again about not being able to learn that technique...but then his expression shifted, looking more puzzled at the blonde's suggestion.

"Uh...What does meditation have to do with anything, lady?" That right there...was probably proof of how much proper training Koichi was lacking.

Taki would hear his words noting that the boy’s teacher truly was just as absent as she thought prompting the girl to let out a sigh. "Of course he is…” afterwards she’d ask her usual question but the kid didn’t have a clue what she was talking about…”Are you serious?” the girl would say looking to him with a stupefied look, could Ryo really have been that absent of a teacher? To the point where his own student didn’t know the basic principals of their art.

"Oh boy…” she’d look over at her small ape companion. "Aki, I think it’s time for you to head home.” Aki looked to the girl with curiosity and would vanish from her sight. With the sage animal gone the girl would look to the other animals. "Meditation is the key foundation of sage mode…kid…without it you got nothing.” the girl would let out a sigh.

"I really shouldn’t be tellin ya dis…but…my teacha wasn’t exactly the most "present.” poison either so I know how ya feel.” she’d look down at him, and think on her own journey as a sage to try and find some advice she could give him. "And if you wanna get by without a teacha you gotta be self made."

"Anyway I ain’t really allowed ta teach ya dis stuff so ask ya animals about it.” she’d then head off once again towards the entrance once again. "And when you figure it out come find me.” she'd pass by the door and head on her way hoping that the young boy managed to take her words to heart, she was eager to keep an eye on his growth.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

"What?" Koichi was honestly confused at why Taki was looking at him like that. He really had no clue that meditation had anything to do with this sage stuff, and of course, to someone like Koichi, meditation sounds unbearably boring.

Koichi watched as that monkey disappeared in a puff of smoke before putting his attention back on the blonde. "Sage...mode?" Koichi muttered after hearing the kunoichi's words. Was she referring to that thing she did during the Exams. He deep down thought it looked badass...but he still thinks he can totally kick this lady's ass.

Still, the idea that meditation seems to play an important role in all of this caused Koichi's demeanor to lessen a bit, looking a little annoyed and disappointed as he crossed his arms. What he wasn't expecting was that the blonde apparently had a similar experience to him...having a sensei who was barely there. It softened his expression slightly, but for the most part he still tried to look strong, and immovable in front of this sage lady.

Koichi remained surprisingly quiet throughout this. He briefly glanced at his tiger cub and even the other tigers nearby before hearing the blonde make her way to the exit. He then looked at her again as she told the young apprentice to find her when he figures it out. "Tch, believe me, I'll find ya alright. Just because I'm letting ya leave now doesn't mean I'm not gonna kick your ass next time!" Koichi claimed, still clearly sore about what happened not too long ago. "A predator neva loses sight of their prey." he claimed with a cocky smirk.

But once she was gone, Koichi dropped his arms to his sides and groaned annoyingly, causing Kumiko to look up at him wither her head tilted a bit. "What does she know anyway? Meditation? Hah! Sounds stupid ta me..." Koichi would then turn, aiming to head further into the compound, but stopped...giving the now-closed entrance one more look. He then turned his attention once again to the other tigers. There was something he noticed about them...other than their ferocity and strength, there were moments where the tigers seemed to be at ease...appearing focused and still. Even while hunting they had this sense of calmness...Even the tigers that reside in the Koketsu compound were similar...

"Although...Maybe it won't hurt...ta ask one of the summons about this meditation junk..." he added, which made his familiar a little happy that the boy was actually contemplating this. With that, the two headed further into the compound...with the words that blonde said fresh in Koichi's mind.
