Geita "prepared for all who oppose the Earth" CLAN TYPE: Hijutsu CLAN ORIGIN: Tsuchi no Kuni CLAN RESIDENCE: Gaikoku CLAN IDEOLOGY The Geita clan has rooted themselves within Earth country for many decades, predating even the First Great Ninja War. Their secular and isolationist lifestyle has stood the test of time. Their preference is to remain neutral regarding international conflicts that arise so long as they do not present themselves as detrimental to Earth Country itself. The Geita are Nationalists and are proudly aware of their nature. Most are mindful of how xenophobic the clan is regarding any form of relations with others outside of Earth Country. They are no strangers to the ninja arts and ready many of their children at young ages to join the ranks of shinobi under Iwagakure's banner. Many must undergo body modification for these children to master the clan's technique fully. When defectors of the clan revealed these practices, many other clans shunned them for such acts. Most procedures, while irreversible, were hardly ever fatal. The procedure is solely based on how the child has mastered the clan's teachings. For example, a child may have a potency for using their mouth as a weapon, and as such, they may have extra teeth implanted or may even be sharpened. Their training typically focuses on strength, as most members tend to be on the brawnier side. However, their size does not dictate their ability. Some of the leaner and nimbler Wyrmlings have proven their strength can trump even some of the Wyrms. CLAN HIERARCHY     The Geita follow the Red Wyrm and Blue Wyrm, the next of kin to the Elder Wyrm, whom the entire clan follows. The Elder Wyrm serves as a mediator to the Red and Blue Wyrm and a reference to the old teachings. They are serving as a reminder to both Wyrms of how they should be leading the clan.     The Red Wyrm is typically Masculine presenting; they serve the clan as a physical presence. Typically, it is the Red Wyrm who is seen as the face of the clan. However, that is not to say the Blue Wyrm is not on equal standing. The Red Wyrm possesses the role of a liaison to ordeals pertaining outside of the clan.     The Blue Wyrm is typically Feminine presenting; catering to the clan's internal affairs. They work in tandem with the Red Wyrm, and sometimes the two may even share or trade responsibilities if one or the other is best suited. When the day comes that the Elder Wyrm returns to the Earth, the eldest of the Wyrms assumes the position.     The Wyrm who does not ascend then chooses successors from whom they have birthed called Wyrmlings. And thus, the cycle continues onward. However, if the Elder, Blue, and/or Red Wyrm can no longer fulfill their duties. The Geita assemble to determine who is the most capable of leading them. CLAN HISTORY The first record of the Geita describes them as people whose minds are one with the reptiles accompanying them. This record comes circa -96SD during the Feuding period. At the time, the Geita were wanderers who tamed reptiles. They made their fair share of money serving as guides to travelers from neighboring countries. The Geita only followed the Elder Wyrm during this time, and their word was always the last. The Red or Blue Wyrm concept did not exist at this point. Circa -70 Evolving Philosophy The Elder Wyrm leading the Geita was a woman by the name of Shinoue, who assumed the position of Elder Wyrm after her father Masamaru was murdered by Yukigakure shinobi during the height of the First Shinobi War. The number of casualties sustained from the massacre was astounding. Many surviving members of the attack were grievously wounded, later succumbing to their injuries, reducing their numbers drastically. As the newly appointed Elder Wyrm, it was up to her to send her people down the right path. Even if they felt she was far too young to lead. Without the assistance of the elders, Shinoue sought an with audience with the Tsuchikage Ujiyasu alone. Her goal was to unite the clan under the banner of Iwagakure.
