When Ryo was first entering his clans wrestling company, he performed as a masked wrestler named Tiger King. Since his unmasking he’s slid Tiger King into his nickname instead. APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 178cm/5’10”

A lean, muscular build coming from years of wrestling training. Coming with that training are also years of scarring and bruising across his skin. All of this combines to make Ryo’s body look older than it actually is at times. Ryo naturally has bright blonde hair that he usually keeps at neck length. However to play into his new role within the clans company, he dyed most of his hair black, leaving only a few blonde streaks. As well as a pair of piercing yellow eyes. He keeps his fingernails painted black, as well as pierced ears, with hanging golden orbs.
Ryo’s average attire consists of loose fitting white pants with black writing down the sides. The right leg has "Killer Elite” written in kanji while the left has "Catalyst” written in Romanji. He usually wears purple shoes. On an average day he actually doesn’t wear a shirt, instead just having various kimono style jackets in differing colors. He wears his ninja headband around his neck more often than not. The most notable aspect of him is the tiger face tattooed onto his neck. PERSONALITY NINDO: "By any means necessary.”
Ryo is a cocky bastard at the best of times. He is confident in his abilities as a shinobi, as a wrestler, as a person in general. This comes from a place of tremendous internal pride. He knows from experience that he’s got talent, and he’s taken that to heart to mean that he is truly one of the best fighters on the planet. He comes from the best clan in Iwagakure and he wants other people to know that. This can be grating around others, as he likes to talk himself up while disparaging the others around him. All of this is, of course, in kayfabe.
In his real life, Ryo is actually a fairly humble member of the Okada clan. He doesn’t like to brag about himself, and seems to hate it even more when other people do. He gets embarrassed easily, especially when it comes to receiving compliments. He is a prideful person, but he likes to keep that pride to himself. He lets his dedication speak for itself. The type to be the first person to the gym in the morning, and the last person to leave. Cleaning other peoples weapons, cleaning the mats, doing whatever he can to improve the lives of his fellow clan members.
HISTORY Ryo’s father, Hiromu, was a high ranking athlete in the Okada clan, one of their star performers. His mother, Kairi, operated as his manager for over a decade. The two of them were an incredibly popular act, a cocky heel with his beautiful wife. Both of them conniving heels, they would work together to cheat their opponents out of any and every fight they could get away with. Not even getti no pregnant could put a damper on the twos ways. Before Ryo was even born he was already working the gimmick. His name itself comes from the world of wrestling. Hiromu and Kairi talked up the announcement of their baby by stating, "When two athletes of our caliber spawn new life, the only possible result is MONEY. And that’s why his name is Ryo.
This started as a a kayfabe joke, but eventually the two decided that would actually be a good name for their child. And so Ryo was born. And from that moment on he was part of the show. Somehow having a child with her just made Kairi an even more desperate heel. She would do every evil tactic she could, and use the baby itself as a shield to avoid the consequences. This also meant that nearly the second Ryo could walk, he was learning to wrestle. Training from a young age in the arts of the Okada. This is why Ryo avoids the title of a natural, he just got a tremendous head start on training.
Ryo’s family sent him through the Ninja Academy. It was never their intent that he would spend his life as a shinobi, but the skills of the Academy would always make a wrestler perform better. It was also important for the young boy to socialize with the young of the village. His family wanted him to have a normal development of course. He was a good student, quick to learn. His time in the academy was largely uneventful because of this. Graduating the academy at the age of 11, he would go back to his focus on the wrestling world. He would become a big star in the Okada’s junior division, wrestling alongside his cousin Keiji, wrestling under the names Tiger King and Pantera respectively.
The two were a beloved tag team act, but after a few years when Ryo was 14, it was time to make good on his parents promise. Shedding his gimmick name, and becoming Ryo once again. He was a singles star, and a popular one at that, but there was another star just a few years younger that the family was excited to see as well. Ryo was the star, the big face of the Juniors, but when he saw his position being threatened he decided to step away. He recommitted to the world of shinobi, and focused on his time as a Genin. Thankfully for the young man his decision to step away at 15 actually coincided with the upcoming Chuunin exams.
A fairly basic test in the first round was easy enough to past. A second round that involves finding the matching scroll to his squads proved more challenging. The matching scroll belonged to another squad, meaning only one squad would make it to the next round. After a long combat, one where Ryo’s taijutsu prowess came in handy as both squads let the scrolls scatter, and the speed of recovery was Ryo’s forte. And finally there was round three. A tournament among all of the remaining Genin. Ryo was definitely one to put on a show, but his wrestling abilities came in handy as he actually used a Heel Hook to decimate his opponents leg. Ryo lost his second fight against a genjutsu user, but had shown enough promise to advance onwards as a Chuunin.
FIGHTING STYLE Ryo is clearly a Taijutsu first competitor. He likes to get up nice close and personal with an opponent so that he can deal heavy damage. At the same time he likes to avoid taking damage himself, meaning that his fighting style regularly involves coming in quickly, dealing damage opportunistically, and then sliding away from combat the moment his opponent appears to be gaining momentum. This means clouding his movements as much as possible, creating obstacles in his opponents path.
Ryo loves to rely on heavy strikes, primarily kicks. But he isn’t afraid to mix it with suplexes or grapples to create distance or opportunities for better angled attacks. When it seems like he’s just outmatched physically, Ryo will get more and more desperate. Willing to go to extreme lengths to get the win. This includes sand in opponents eyes, going for moves meant to cause lasting damage, or hiding weapons in with his regular attacks. COMBAT INFORMATION NATURAL CHAKRA: Katon

Many would consider it an unconventional main weapon, but Ryo has a great amount of respect and love for his special kendo sticks. He can fight with them in ways that a lot of competitors fail to fight in general, even able to use it to lethal results.
Okada’s Ace
Okada’s have for ages had a fighting style that mixes many martial arts into a brutal fighting style. Ryo has been trained in it since day one, and because of that can use the techniques in the clan to great effect, able to snap moves off quicker, and land them stronger, than many of his peers within the clan.
Shoot Fighter
With the way that Ryo fights, and the way Ryo insists his opponents fight, it’s given him an incredible pain tolerance. He’s able to take punishment that would cause many other ninja to crumble. This doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t get hurt, it just allows him to push through that pain harder. This means that certain injuries that would feel major to other would feel normal to him.
