UNDER THE MOONLIGHT Using the instructions given by Hotaru, Toshizou exchange some correspondence with the Uchiha missing-nin, where the two of them discussed some details about a potential alliance between the Land of Fire and the group known as Sai no Kawara. The text was sent as an encrypted code that only Hotaru would really know how to translate, as it was the code used by their squad back when they were both members of the ANBU, which added an extra layer of safety to it; the risks were too great to take any chances. Still, most of the details would be further discussed and determined during their meeting, which had been scheduled. They were supposed to meet on the same bridge, when the full moon was at its highest. As evidence of the good faith of the Hidden Leaf Village, he was bringing some gifts of sorts to the Uchiha siblings, safely sealed in scrolls Toshizou was carrying himself. Five masked members of Root accompanied their Commander into the Land of Rivers, but when he was about 5 kilometres from the meeting place, he ordered them to stay put, for he was going alone. Known for obeying their orders, the five man hide themselves in the woods and stayed there as Toshizou continued his path towards the broken bridge. He walked slowly and discreetly, hidden by a dark cape with a hood. His Kagura Mind's Eye wide opened, seeking for the chakra signature of the Uchihas, while his own Chakra presence was not entirely suppressed, so they could sense him coming. The night was moderately cloudy, but the light of the full moon illuminated the valley. The cold breeze making that a rather chilly summer night, but a rather quiet one. Vermillion Eye
Toshi possesses extremely sharp eyesight, which helps him predict his opponent's next attack and movements by carefully observing the subtle shifts of their muscles, joints and the slight movements of their eyes. Some people compare his eyesight to that of a Hawk, and they are not wrong with the comparison. His eyes also allow him to be extremely precise with his attacks, as well as improve his ability with throwing and ranged weapons, granting him great accuracy. he is able to do these things but at the cost of not being as effective in either one as someone with a more focused special ability.

Kagura Mind's Eye
Born with a natural affinity towards sensing chakra, Toshi trained himself to become a capable sensor ninja. With his training, he managed to unlock his Mind's Eye, and with that, the ability to passively sense chakra signatures in the distance (when using the technique), thus allowing him to not only track, but also memorize a person's chakra signature, even if barely any chakra is being used. Due to his proficiency with this technique, Toshi can passively sense chakra up to 400 metres, but when he focus on opening his Mind's Eye, his sensing capabilities increase to incredible 25 km.

Hotaru walked with his sister alongside him, leaving Benjiro to aid another member of SinK. He didn’t feel right dragging the Nue into business with Konohagakure, and the village wanted to confirm that Kazui was indeed with him anyways. She didn’t seem particularly enthused by the idea, skeptical at least. He felt the same way, but he couldn’t pass on a chance at such a large opportunity. Her empathic ability was key in determining how genuine the offer was.

Toshi was meeting them at the bridge, and the scouting of one of the summons as well as Kazui’s ability revealed little in terms of foul play at the meeting point. It seemed there was a small contingent nearby, but that was to be expected. The other members of SinK knew of the meeting and weren’t too far themselves.

"If you sense danger, lightning into the sky to call the others…” Hotaru asked of his sister as they made their approach."I don’t think they would have let me go last time if they weren’t serious, but I think they may not understand our goals. We’ll see.”

They were nearing the broken bridge. He wasn’t in his usual attire, instead wearing SinK’s dark robes with white patterns on the sleeves. It was his first time officially meeting with a delegate to discuss terms, and he wasn’t sure if he was truly ready to be a leader. He was nervous not just about talking with someone who hunted nukenin as a career, but of representing his viewpoint clearly and charismatically.

"I'm not very experienced at this, and Toshizo was my sensei at one point. Please chime in if you think his terms are unfair, especially since you'll have a better sense of his honesty."

Kazui traveled through River Country alongside Hotaru, she remained reserved and to herself for the most part as her mind began to swell with thoughts of how things may play out during their meeting. She’d be lying if she said her nerves weren’t playing a part in her quietness, meeting with Toshi wasn’t the most ideal situation for her mostly because she hated everything he stood for him and his pathetic wife. She scoffed at the idea of meeting him face to face when Hotaru mentioned it to her, but she wanted to be there for her brother and so followed on.

The girl used her chakra to feel the area of their meeting, she could sense another sensor and automatically figured it was Toshi, the chakra sensor confirmed this. "Right.” She spoke with a nod of her head. "Everything seems calm now..he’s approaching the bridge as we speak.” As she explained this to him, Kazui would pull the hood of her cloak off of her head, allowing her long black hair to flow down her shoulders.

Taking in a deep breath and exhaling, the girl would look over towards her brother and place her hand on his shoulder. "You’ll do fine. Just stand by your morals, and I’ll have your back.” She spoke as she turned to face the broken bridge they were approaching. Not before long, the two approached the rendezvous spot only to see a white haired man approaching at the same time. Kazui would not greet him nor would she introduce herself, instead she would keep quiet, her cold and impassive nature on full display.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Once they stopped their approach, Toshizou greeted them with a brief head bow, his expression was rather serious, but he didn't carry any negative thoughts with him. Both of you." he started, slowly grabbing a couple of scrolls from his back pouch and showing it to them before kneeling on the ground and opening it, but not yet breaking the seal. "As stated in the letter, I brought each one of you something. A token of our good faith in this negotiation." he said, as he slammed his hand in between them, unsealing both at the same time. On the right side, a pair of gloves pleated with chakra conductive metal, which Hotaru would recognize as Genji's gloves, something that belonged to his father in the past. On the left side, a master craft chokutou, 3.2 shaku in length, with a straighened blade. The handle and the sheath was black with the Uchiha symbol on it. "Quite the impressive blade, I must say." he said, with a faint smile appearing in the corner of his mouth; he was admiring the blade. Hotaru knew him from their time in the ANBU, so the fact that Toshi was admiring a blade was nothing new to him. Once he unsealed it, he got back up and looked back at the two of them. The broken bridge still stood between them, but the glint of the moonlight revealed the gleam of both the clawed gloves and the masterwork blade. It seemed like Konohagakure was serious enough to arm them with rare artifacts, although they'd have to have their authenticity checked themselves.

He had mixed feelings about the gloves themselves. They were a powerful weapon, but they were a reminder of years of his father’s overtraining trying to ensure that Hotaru was the perfect heir to receive them. In a way it felt like taking them would be accepting Hachiko’s blessing, something that he would spit on. As a leader of a group of people who were constantly endangered though, he’d let go of his childish stubbornness to better protect them.

"Yes. Let’s speak. First, I’d ask that you make a shadow clone and travel with us down the road a kilometer on our side of the bridge with the equipment.”

This hadn’t been mentioned in the letter, but Hotaru thought so long as there wasn’t some undetectable listening post or plan to use the bridge as a trap there shouldn’t have been any problem with his request.

He glanced at Kazui to make sure she didn’t think something was up, and then back at Toshizo. "I hope that won’t be too much trouble. It will be safer for everyone that way.”

There were a million places on Earth that Kazui would’ve rather been instead of being face to face with Toshizou, yet at the same time being alongside Hotaru was definitely of utmost importance to her. Even with gifts being presented, there wasn’t much excitement to be had, and the girl didn’t have much to discuss. However, seeing the blade in person did pique her interest, it belonged to one of the previous Uchiha elders who had recently passed and decided to pass it down to Kazui since she was fitting for the blade.

Dark hues looked over the elite Jōnin as he rose to his full height before scanning the surroundings behind him; she didn’t believe anything that came from his mouth even when her senses told her that the man was being genuine in nature. She sighed. She would still take time to check the authentication of the weapons, but for now it seemed as if her brother wanted to move. Wisely enough as there were a few ANBU members laying in wait..the same ones that worked alongside the girl when she was a part of the organization. Kazui smirked slightly as she scoffed at the thought of the mightyToshizou bringing backup to meet with the siblings.

"And make sure that your followers stay put.”

Kazui mentioned through her soft-spoken tone, adding on to Hotaru’s request. She’d look up towards her brother before giving him a gentle nod, all was well for now and there wasn’t much to be concerned about. She also agreed with his request of moving further down the bridge.

These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Leaving the scrolls on the ground, he waived the single hand seal needed. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." he said and a clone of himself appeared on his left side in a poof of smoke. The clone then kneeled and grabbed the two scrolls, safely storing it on his back pouch and then got up. Kazui made sure to emphasise the fact that his followers should stay put and the original Toshizou nodded. "Don't worry about it. They won't be moving from their place. They are not here as a measure of protection against you." he explained, and he wasn't lying. Not being in the Land of Fire made them all exposed, in a way. People hunted missing-nin left and right, some because of their own self-righteousness, others because of potential bounties. If they were to get jumped, Toshizou would rather have his Root members joining the fray and fighting alongside them. In any case, he sit there on the grass, arms folded, as the clone left, following Hotaru's directions. The Hatake agreeing to use the shadow clone put him at ease, he had confidence that between his sister and himself they could dispel the clone and had given themselves a significant lead on an escape attempt if it was needed. Along the way, he had pulled plant fibers and thatch. When they reached a small clearing he placed them down into a circle, heated a senbon up with karon, and started a campfire.

He sat down on a smoothed boulder and glanced at Kazui, then back to Toshizo. After a moment’s silence his voice escaped from beneath his collar, "So, based on what you told me in the letters… the Hokage is offering to wash away our crimes and meet at least some of the demands we’ve made? We’re supposed to iron out those details now, but I will say that I still have my doubts. What is your true intention?”

INTENTIONS After walking for a while, Hotaru took them across the ridge and to the other side of the highlands, further into the woods. The place was somewhat familiar to the Land of Fire, and that felt a bit nostalgic to the Hatake, who looked around with a neutral expression. He was known for not showing a lot of emotions all the time, but if Kazui was trying to read his feelings with her Mind's Eyes, she would notice he was pleased with the scenery. In any case, Toshizou was also using his Mind's Eyes to understand the siblings better, for this negotiation was of great importance to the Leaf, and he wanted it to be successful. Once they arrived at the designated place, Hotaru too care of creating a campfire, and the Hatake sit in a boulder across the flames from the Uchiha siblings. After a brief moment of silence, Hotaru started by mentioning the letters, and the offer from the Hokage, but he sounded suspicious and asked for his true intentions. Toshizou gave him a firm nod before he started speaking. "Sharp as always, Hotaru-kun. Well, I will be straight with you. I'm the one who suggested this approach to the Hokage, and he was wise enough to listen to me. Well... One thing I can tell you is that this new Hokage is different from Niko. Substantially different." he paused. "Regardless, our former Hokage did a good job at making sure we collected plenty of enemies, but not a lot of allies. And you two? Your crimes are far from nefarious. You... Hotaru-kun, you have this belief that children should not be used as tools of war. Now, that was enough to make you leave and paint you as a criminal. Word gets around that Uchiha are recruiting people, but few stay when they realize what we do is charity work and that we live simple lives.”

He sighed. "Our current operating procedure is to remove anyone appearing to be under their teenage years from participating in shinobi activities. If Konohagakure were to simply stop deploying these individuals outside of the village, there would be less reason for us to intervene. I still believe the academy accepts oaths of fealty before children are old enough to make an informed choice, but I am willing to confront that on a political field rather than on a battlefield.”

Indeed, his words rang true: not having Genins under their teenage years was something they couldn't afford, because even with an alliance with their organization, it couldn't replace the manpower they would be losing. The white-haired man was almost ready to respond, when Hotaru sighed and continued to speak, and thus he decided to hold his words and listen until the man was done. As he expected, the Uchiha was a reasonable man, one the Hidden Leaf definitely missed. His terms were aligned with what Toshizou had discussed with Toshizou, and so he nodded. "As you said, stopping those under their teenage years from becoming shinobi and acting as such would be impossible in the current state of this world, and it would only embolden our enemies. However, your terms are reasonable and are within what the Leaf is willing to do." he started. Kazui took a moment to digest the words that had been served to the two of them, her dark hues lowered towards the ground watching as rain began to fall upon the trio. As much as she dislikes Toshizou, the Uchiha couldn’t help but feel a surge of happiness and relief rush through every fiber of her being when the scroll pertaining to their pardons were produced and handed to them. The girl would read the entirety of it word for word, numerous times before handing it over to her older brother. Her gaze shot towards her sibling, watching for his reaction. He would give a slight nod, and Kazui’s eyes returned to the Hatake.

She took a moment to gather her thoughts before forming them into words suitable for all parties involved. But before speaking, the teen took in a deep breath and exhaled. "We can attest that Keisuke, yourself, and the entirety of Konoha will not regret this decision of allowing us to operate freely within the Land of Fire, as well as pardoning Hotaru and myself.” Slowly rolling the scroll up into its original state, the teen would promptly hand it back to the white haired elite.

"As you know, I am no criminal. I have no ill intent for the village that has shaped me into who I am, despite the betrayal that I felt. With that said, and though I can not speak for the rest of the members of Sai no Kawara, I can give you my word that whenever Konoha is in danger I will be there to defend so long as our agreements remain intact and there’s no lingering issue between our organization, views, and Konohagakure leadership.” Kazui spoke softly, she would turn to face her brother again before looking back towards Toshi.

"However, the moment leadership goes to trash, you can consider this pact as good as dead. As long as that is understood, I believe we can begin wrapping this up, I’m sure you would much rather be elsewhere.” The teen rested her eyes and turned her nose up towards the elite in a sassy fashion, though they didn’t see eye to eye, it was clear that Kazui was willing to coexist with him.

It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

But then there was relief and once they were satisfied with the content of their pardon, they returned the scrolls to the Hatake, who promptly took them and placed it back inside his jacket's pocket. It seemed like the two were in agreement and once they gathered their thoughts, it was Kazui who spoke next, saying they would not regret their decision. "That is our hope." he nodded. He was well aware of the fact that her only crime was to abandon the village, and that was motivated by the sense of betrayal as Niko's regime decided to hide the fact that her brother was alive. Dark hues shifted back towards Toshi as the sound of him chuckling caught the girl’s attention. Was there something funny? She wasn’t too sure, but she was dying to find out. As he spoke, he reminded the young teen that he did come bearing gifts for the two siblings. It had completely slipped the Uchiha’s mind as she wasn’t used to receiving presents or hand-outs of any sort. She quickly turned back to face Toshizou, her impassive expression persistent as she watched him dig for the scrolls.

Along with the gifts, the elite tried to sweet talk the girl into possibly returning to her home in Konoha, though he was beating around the bush, Kazui understood what he meant loud and clear. She looked towards Hotaru before her gaze fell upon Toshizou yet again. "Err.” She groaned frustratingly underneath her breath. She wasn’t too sure, returning would be a shock to most, and though she was widely liked amongst the village - she was more than certain that she would receive side-eyes upon her arrival. Kazui missed her friends and family that was for sure, and a part of her was sure that Toshi knew that.

Gritting her teeth Kazui would accept her gift and Hotaru did the same. "I’ll consider it, though don't expect me to show any time soon. And I want it to be known that I don’t wanna be bossed around and told what to do upon arrival. I’ll simply return home to be there and to help wherever I see fit.” The Uchiha laid her conditions out transparently to Toshi. She was no longer a kunoichi of Konohagakure, but rather a villager unless she decided to change that. Plus, she didn’t want any commitments holding her back from handling her duties as a Sai no Kawara juror, so it was only right for both parties.

This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

You are not rejoining the regular forces, so unless you choose to do so, you won't have to worry about that." he started, pausing for a moment. "And, again, the village is different. Keisuke is not Niko. I am not Niko." he reiterated as clearly as he possibly could. "And the Village is your home.
