There is only one path left to take.

The girl was doing all the thinking, which made sense, as easy as it was to train strength... control was likely harder to measure. So she did have the lions share of the work. It didn't make Kasumi any less confused by the way she spoke though. It was far from normal, right?

That, or Kasumi tended to hang out with people that were rather dumb.

"Alright then. If you wanna do it the same way again we can." She said with a shrug. Kasumi would grab her end of the silk, rolling her shoulders. "Just don't complain if you end up in the sand again, aye?"

She did notice a difference, though. Kiko was now using handseals. Something that would likely lead to a much stronger force. Kasumi wasn't going to let it catch her off guard though. She would bury her feet deep in the sand, determination set on her face.

When the pulling began, her thoughts were confirmed. Kiko had gotten much much stronger. Kasumi flared her chakra cloak again, though, sweat forming on her brow as she pushed her muscles to the max. Straining hard enough her teeth hurt.

Yes, this was definitely more of an even match. If Kasumi hadn't enhanced her endurance with the cloak, she already would have lost. Instead, she was able to push the muscles further than normal. For now at least.

It wouldn't be long until even her pain tolerance would fail her and she'd fall. Just a matter of who would fall first.

Demon Chakra:
Kasumi has become known for her strange chakara form. When in a dire situation, she is capable of releasing her chakra, which in turn takes a strange color unlike the normal blue color of chakra, and takes the form of a demonic cat figure. She is then enveloped in a demon shroud.

This ability grants her a fierce looking aura, that may come off as intimidating and a tenacity to push beyond their normal limits physically- when this mode is activated, Kasumi is harder to knock out or kill and will generally fight for longer than a normal body is capable of.

Keeping this ability active has a low drain on Kasumi's chakara.


Demon sword style:
Since a young age, Kasumi has felt the weight of a sword in her hands. She's practiced combat with swords, and is able to compete with some of the best sword users around. That said, people who lack training with a sword or intensive Taijutsu tend to be overwhelmed by her skill.

Demon chakra pool:
Kasumi was born with higher than average chakara reserves, letting her use more chakara and jutsu without being exhausted. A natural gift from her lineage. She has learned how to properly take advantage of these reserves.

One Handed Demon Style:
Through patience and recklessness, Kasumi has mastered the ability to do jutsu with only one available hand. She can cast jutsu only using one hand for the seals.

Komatsuzaki Kiko Shinigami-chan, the true head of the waruichi clan The two squared off once again, and the battle started. It was a fierce one; Kiko's silken influence warred against Kasumi's raw physical strength, and any who would have seen them would have seen the struggle. Even the typically composed Kiko began to show signs of wear and exertion soon enough. Kasumi was strong. Kiko had to give her that. She would make a great teammate, and a fierce enemy, but for Kiko she was neither. However, knowing such a potent shinobi was on her side was a comforting thought - she had no desire to fight someone who showed such potential. But it was a good match up. For the most part, it looked even. Kiko could not overpower Kasumi, and the strange chakra cat girl couldn't pull Kiko off her feet again.  However, there was one thing that would spell the difference in their competition. It would take some time, but in the end, Kiko would out last Kasumi. Her veterancy and control managed to just barely outdo Kasumi's physical prowess. It was not by much, though. In the end, Kiko was left breathing heavily and sweating quite a bit more than she otherwise would be from just the sun and heat.  "You are very strong, I was concerned I would not last," Kiko commented as praise.
