Cannons

Azarea slowly made her way down from the North. Moving through the water at a steady clip as she hugged against the rocks where the two large rotating cannons side on either side of the northern entrance to the port. The 'shark' brushing up against the rocks as Azarea carefully fed her hive chakra to accelerate their pace. Ordering two fifths of them to burrow down into the earth beneath the two large cannons and await her orders. The Spindle formation jutsu at least would ensure once she enacted the plan she wouldn't be without the majority of her hive for long. With the first two cannons taken care of the 'shark moved on. A quiet shadow in the water observed only by a few casual watchmen who paid her little mind other then to toss a bit of meat in the water. The Kunouchi taking it with distaste so as to not arouse suspicion and letting her hive devour the treat before it ever hit her own stomach.

As coasting through the water Azarea brushed up against the smaller vessel moored to the north carefully planting two explosive tags on the hull. Her next target the long bridge that connected the two parts of the port as the shark wound it's way past the pillars leaving four tags in its wake. Leaving only the final cannon to go before she'd need to execute her series of jutsu.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user transforms their appearance to become that of another person, animal or even an inanimate object. This is considered one of the most advanced academy techniques, as it requires a constant emission of chakra as well as constant mental focus to maintain the transformation. Shinobi are limited to transforming into objects roughly their own size, preventing them from turning into a fly while being able to carry items far greater than their transformed state.

DESCRIPTION:
The user has their bugs attack the target in a spiraling motion in order to stop the enemy from retaliating. Before using this jutsu the user pushes extra chakra out to feed the insects, invigorating them and causing them to move at an increased speed from what they originally are capable off. This allows both the attacks used to have more impact and make it easier to catch their target.
Coupled with the movement pattern the jutsu takes on the insects can be quite difficult for an inexperienced shinobi to keep up with. As most Jounin find the jutsu to be challenging to keep up with, but not downright dangerous in it's own. Instead the jutsu has it's real glory when used in conjunction with another jutsu, such as adopting the formation to allow the insects to quickly reach their destination unharmed before executing a much more dangerous jutsu.
When used along with another jutsu the Spindle Formation ups their letter rank by one rank. However, as the bugs are sped up they are prone to dying upon impact with any hard surfaces. This causes enough bugs used in said jutsu to die and in turn the user must use bugs within themselves to utilize in any jutsu after instead of the remnants of the previous jutsu.

Joō no Taikanshiki no Regaria [Queen's Coronation Regalia]
A mutated variant of the Aburame clans Yūdai no Omorejō ["Bewildering Grandeur of the Alpha"] resulting from the subsequent poisoning of Azarea's former Yūdai no Omorejō hive to prevent potential hijutsu theft. While the Joō no Taikanshiki no Regaria lacks the Yūdai no Omorejō size instead Azarea's hive has maintained the ability to produce alpha pheromones and commanding vibrations. Evolving instead to hyperspecialize in these two aspects allowing them to produce pheramones and vibrations strong enough to be detected by human hearing and sense of smell.

ILLUSIONS, STRINGS, AND SHURIKENS With the cannons now disabled, he could finally move to the next room, where the three men were sleeping. They were probably feeling safe with ther companions taking rounds, oblivious to the fact that one of them was already dead. With quick and silent motions with his kunai, Shigure slit the throat of all the three sleeping man, and with that being taken care of, it was time for him to move to the other building in the south of the port. But before he could do that, he would have to take care of the guards walking around the area. After sneaking out of the building, he would select three spots in the area, waiving the three hand seals and using his genjutsu. "Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu." with that, every time a guard would walk there, they would immediately turn around and continue their roots, tricked into thinking they were actually continuing their normal route. It wasn't going to last very long, but it gave Shigure enough time to sneak past them and into the next building, where the four men were eating. "All going well so far, but there are still many of them. Seems like Azarea-san is doing okay, and my clones have not yet been busted. Now... To take care of these guys..." he thought to himself as he sneaking into the place from a window, keeping himself to the shadows while the four men were distracted with their meal. The Hyuuga had an idea on how to deal with them, however. Tying two shurikens to his ninja wire, and grabbing another two, he would quickly throw them at the men. The two sitting across from the table quickly tied to duck and get out of the way, but the shuriken moved oddly and hit them nonetheless. With the string, Shigured used the Manipulate Shuriken Technique change their directions. Moreover, he had also used the Shadow Shuriken Technique to hide the other two shurikens under the manipulated one. Four targets with a single attack. He wasn't a master of Bukijutsu, but his time as the academy instructor forced him to start stepping out of his comfort zone, and he was indeed becoming a more complete shinobi, capable of handling different challenges, and missions. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [17/25] Uses False Surroundings Technique to trick the guards, sneaked into the second building and using the Manipulate Shuriken Technique and the Shadow Shuriken Technique in conjunction, he took down the men who were eating dinner. DESCRIPTION:
A genjutsu that allows one to trick others into mistaking the place they're in for another. This technique's main feature is that it can be cast over an extensive surface, therefore any and all who step into the illusion's area of effect will fall under the spell. That said, it might not work so well on people who are well-versed or otherwise skilled in genjutsu. [Is only effective once upon a target unless recast]

NAME: Soushuriken no Jutsu - [Manipulate Shuriken Technique]

DESCRIPTION:
Wires attached to shuriken, be it during the use of this jutsu or prepared beforehand, can be manipulated with such sleight hand movements that the trajectory of the stars can be altered at any point in their flight. The spinning nature of the shuriken more than often distracts shinobi from the razor thin strings connecting them to their owner, making this an effective way to catch the opponent off guard.

Two shuriken, like the fuma shuriken or giant shuriken, are piled on one another an thrown simultaneously. The trick is to draw the enemy's attention on the top shuriken while the second hides in its shadow just below it to strike the unsuspecting enemy.

Ready As Ever

The third cannon was easily prepped for destruction as Azarea quietly dispersed another 1/5th of her bugs into the earth. Moving her way slowly and leisurely through the water so as to not alert either their opponents or the local sea life that she was anything other then a passing shark. Though the underwater gate she had spotted earlier niggled at the back of her mind worrying her. It would however be something she'd have to hold off on investigating until later. One last cannon still needed to be prepped and variations from the plan could put Shigure in danger. Circling past the trio of smaller cannons which she spied as un-operational Azarea slipped by the larger ship seeding the last of her Kikaichu beneath the 4th and final large cannon as she strained to maintain the level of chakra output needed to keep her hive moving at the speeds she'd need them to operate at.

Taking up a position at the entrance of the port once more she had her Kikaichu alight on Shigure's nose and fan it's wings twice signaling she was ready and waiting for the order to make good on the sabotage. The Genin herself keeping a wary eye on that underwater gate uncertain what was to be expected there and ready to bail out of the water if it proved hostile.

"sink and destroy". "No matter how many people you may lose, you have no choice but to go on living." EXPLOSION Shigure quickly sneaked out of the building and continued to head towards the west, being as ellusive as he could, as the guards patrolling were still trapped in his genjutsu. Using his speed, moving like a blur, he reached the next cannon and stabbed the man there in the back of his neck, taking his life promptly and then started sabotaging that cannon, which didn't take too long: the cannons didn't need to be completely destroyed, just tampered to the point they wouldn't work. Now there was one more cannon a bit north from where he was. On the path, the building on the side had a couple men chatting and drinking some booze, and yet another person taking care of the last cannon. "Almost cleaning up the main threats, and then I can detonate the explosive tags and take down the vessel." he thought to himself. Using his superior speed, he reached the top of the small tower where the cannon was and leaped to the rooftop of the building nearby, where the men were drinking. With a kunai in each hand, Shigure dropped down and stabbed both in the top of their heads, and then dashed towards the cannon room. The man noticed the approach of the blur, but it was already too late, for he was hit by a palm strike to the chest, damaging his heart enough to kill him. "Done..." he muttered to himself, however, his genjutsu had just expired, and the guard who was walking in the false surroundings saw the shinobi killing the man. "Hey! Invader!! Sound the alarm!" the man roared. Shigure grit his teeth as he slapped an explosive tag on the cannon and rushed to the man who was about to blow the horn on him. However, the other two guards doing the rounds were already alerted of his presence and were coming to join the man, all drawing their weapons. "Capture him! We need to know what this jerk is up to." one of the guard said, but Shigure responded with a single hand seal. "Katsu!" and with that, the four explosive tags he had placed were detonated. The cannon behind him blew down to pieces, and the escape vessel erupted in flames and started to sink. Now the whole camp was in a state of alert, but at the very least, their attention was directed at where the Hyuuga was, leaving more freedom for Azarea, Daisuke and the clones to continue their part of the plan. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [19/25] Kills the man by the cannon, sabotages it. Leaps to the other rooftop, stabs the two drinking men with kunais, heads north, kills the last man operating a cannon with a palm strike. Is found by the guards after the genjutsu expired, and detonates the explosive tags, attracting the rest of the guard's attention to him. [Aburame Azarea] [475 words]

SHARK

At the sound of the explosions Azarea releases her henge needing every ounce of chakra at her disposal as she forms the handseals flicking through them with all due haste to command her hive. Order those insects under the large cannons to devour the earth. The Kikaichu swarming as they spun at high speeds tearing through the ground one cannon after another sending the large cast metal weapons plummeting down into the pits formed in their wake their openings facing the sky and useless to be utilized to attack Shigure and herself. Sweat beading on Azrea's brow to be wicked away by the water as she forms the snake seal and funneled chakra into the tags on the bridge and the smaller escape vessel.

As with a boom that could be felt as much as heard the sloop and walkway bridge were blow to bits in an eruption of chakra and wood. Cutting off the two sections of the port from one another unless the individual chose to swim or could water walk. Leaving Azarea to her devices as the woman pushed off from the rocks and swap up to the large underwater gates within the port. Free to do relatively as she pleased with the pirates distracted with Shigure as she peered down through the slats only to arch her brows as a massive grey fin passed by the bars.

It was a shark.

A really. Truly. MASSIVE. Shark.

Grinning behind her mask Azarea drew her remaining four explosive tags and places them at the four corners of the gate before scrambling up and out of the water as she ducked into the nearby bushes. Triggering her last tags with a crook of her fingers as with a thump the bars twisted and broke with the force and with the ugly tearing of metal the shark was free. Much to the woe of whoever was attempting to swim across the expanse of the port.

DESCRIPTION:
This technique can only be utilized by those with bugs capable of both aerial and underground movement.
By allowing a swarm of bugs to submerge into the ground, the user is able to maneuver and place them beneath an opponent as a trap. Once placed, the bugs can then rapidly emerge from underneath the opponent, consuming the ground beneath them and rising up to surround them.
The combination and suddenness is enough to cause an opponent to lose their balance with the ground under them suddenly disappearing while allowing the bugs to grasp onto the target and drain them.
While the rate at which the bugs are able to dig is dependent on the bug, this jutsu can also speed up their digging capability depending on the cost.

DEADLY AND GENTLE FISTS Shigure's Byakugan was helping him keep tabs of what was going on all over the port, but the men standing before him didn't know that, and as more approached, he knew that he had to engage in combat, otherwise he would be too severly outnumbered by his foes, and even though most of them seemed to be unable to mould chakra, some of them were, and he was not unbeatable, far from it. The three men came at him at the same time, hoping to flank him and end his life with their blades, but Shigure was faster and far more skilled, using his impressive agility and reflexes, he would avoid the three attacks, and counter with quick palm strikes to their vulnerable organs, injurying them fatally with a couple strikes. "The cannons are not working! There must be more people here! Keep your eyes open!" some of the pirates would scream, as more and more approached Shigure, who tried to keep the fight at the south of the port. Arrows started flying towards him as they kept on trying to take him down, but he was running at full speed, seeking to intercept the archers who were finding cover in the rooftops of the buildings. Some arrows came dangerously close, but none managed to hit him yet. "I'm all it takes to rid this place of scum like you." he said as he kicked the head of one of the archers, getting some impulse to deliver a deadly palm strike to the head of another one, and followed by a push of his arm. "Hakke Kushou!" the Vacuum palm sent another two to the ocean, where they fell near the shark Azarea had just freed, to their doom. Still, things were about to get harder, when he saw a Fire Ball coming his way. Using the Gentle Fist, he used the Vacuum Palm once again to destroy it. "Don't let this bastard escape!" the man who used the fire ball said, as another three joined him, all of which had some chakra they could use. "This is going to be interesting... Well... I need to get serious, it seems." and with a single hand seal, he dispelled one of his shadow clones, recovering some of his chakra back, feeling a bit of relief from that. The real combat was about to begin. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [21/25] Kills some more pirates, and is now about to face pirates who can use chakra. Endless Night

Against the swarms of pirates there isn't much Azarea can do beyond try to take them out from the shadows. The Kumo nin huddling against the leaves trying to make herself small and spot an opportunity to further incite chaos. It comes sooner then she expects as Shigure charges across the distance clashing with the three men who exit one of the buildings flinging fireballs and looking for a fight. The moment they spot the Hyuuga and she sees Shigure lifting his hand to form a seal she strikes. Utilizing her teammates handseal as the trigger as darkness encapsulates the tallest of the three Pirate Bosses vision as his gaze lingers too long on the Hyuuga's hands. His sight robbed from him by endless night with day, if Shigure had any say in it, to never return again. Hoping that she's evened the odds a bit for her teammate Azarea is no forced to contend with her own opponents.

As below her a cry of alarm rings out and one of the pirates points up at her perch. One of the ragtag men drawing some daggers from a bandolier about his chest as he flings it upwards at Azarea forcing the woman to make a desperate leap from the tree to the top of the nearby building as the blades slice into the thick leather of her jacket. The woman scrambling to secure her position near the hatch leading up to the roof to try to funnel her enemies into a choke point.

Azarea uses Shigure's handseal as the genjutsu trigger to lay Bringing of Darkness over one of the three pirate bosses. Azarea is spotted and forced to reposition to a nearby roof.

DESCRIPTION:

This technique exerts a hallucinatory effect upon the eyesight, effectively blinding the opponent. No matter how skilled an opponent may be, they are forced to wait helpless in this world of darkness, as this technique allows the user to attack unseen [unable to kai]. Although it negates sight, it does not stop the other senses. It should be noted that this technique, unlike some other genjutsu can no be broken through with doujutsu. Due to the nature of the technique in which it prevents the brain from registering data transmitted from the eye, it makes the previously mentioned doujutsu useless.

"sink and destroy". "No matter how many people you may lose, you have no choice but to go on living." SIXTY-FOUR PALMS One of the men, the tallest of them had his vision robbed from him, and Shigure could see Azarea's chakra at work. "Genjutsu? That's an impressive technique..." he thought to himself, and using the opportunity to take him down without wasting time, he dashed forward. "Hakke... Rokujuuyon shou!" and with incredible speed, he hit the man with an onslaught of tenketsu strikes, sealing his chakra pathway system's core and injuring his internal organs at the same time. "Ni shou! Yon shou! Hasshou!" then, spinning around to avoid a descending blade, glowing with wind chakra, he turned to this attacker and aimed his fingers at his flank, continuing the technique. "Juuroku shou! Sanjuuni shou!" the numerous stikes were enough to take him down as well, leaving just one opponent there, as Shigure advanced towards him. His blade came from below, hitting Shigure's flank, but his wind-reactive chakra armour was enough to deflect his blade, shocking the man. "What?!" and thus giving him enough time to hit him with the final, and most furious step of his technique. "Rokujuuyon shou!" he roared, as the man fell to the ground, not yet dead, but dying. Still, the battle was far from over, and as three balls of water came flying towards Shigure, he dodged one of them with a somersault, using his incredible agility, and the other one was blocked by his Gentle Fist, which destroyed the water projectile. Two more chakra capable opponents were approaching. "Alright... Let's dance some more..." the Hyuuga said, with a smirk in the corner of his mouth. He was getting tired, that was true, but he couldn't afford to call back his other shadow clone, so instead, he grabbed one military ration pill and threw it in his mouth, recovering a decent amount of his chakra. Meanwhile, Azarea was being attacked by a group of men, one of which was a disguised shadow clone. Shortly after she was scratched, the man who attacked her was seemingly attacked by his ally, and when that happened, the clone dropped the transformation technique, and turned around to shield the girl from the other attackers. "Are you alright?" the clone asked. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [23/25] Uses 64 palms to attack the three men, now ready to engage the remaining ones. Shadow clone attacks the man who attacked Azarea, and positions itself in between her and the enemy. [Aburame Azarea] [394 words]

A Plan

Threading senbon between her fingers like claws Azarea lunges for the first man to come through the door only to find herself caught and forced back as the clone on transforms and spins to shield her from the second to pour past the entryway. The Woman bracing herself against the clone as she slams a kick into the Pirates throat sending him tumbling back down the roof hatch as she slips from the clones grip. "Never better?" She quips.

"How about you?" Azarea asks as she activates her fire starter gloves flinging sparks into one of the Pirate's faces as he pokes his head up before nailing him in the throat with her fist full of senbon sending him tumbling back down gurgling blood in his death throes.

"Hey Shigure clone? Think while they're pouring in here to try and get up at me you could do me the favor of blocking the doors down below? I think it's high time we taught these thugs how fast thatch burns." Azarea requests as she an arrow catches her across the side tearing a bloody gash in her clothing leaving the woman swearing up a storm as she charts the course of it's flight spotting a trio of archers across the water way. As she holds up a hand seal appearing to the archers at least to have disappeared in a swirl of mist. The illusion though would only buy her moments as she kicked another thug in the face trying to slow the stem of pirates.

INTENSE BATTLE "My main body was running low on chakra, but he just used a military pill, so he should be good. I still have plenty of juice to burn, and Daisuke is up there to cover us if we need." the clone promptly responded, as it quickly side-stepped, avoiding a stabbing from a pirate and countered with an elbow strike to its chin, followed by a kick to the chest, using the Gentle Fist to damage the man's heart and lungs, which was enough to make him choke on his own blood and die. Then, the girl asked if the clone could go down and block the door. The clone seemed naturally apprehensive of distancing itself from her, but it nodded - albeit hesitantly. "Alright, but please be careful." he warned her, as he darted towards the door below, almost giving up on that when he saw the arrow flying by and injuring her, even though it wasn't anything serious. Another arrow came her way, but this time it was intercepted by Daisuke diving down. The Eagle went on to peck the eyes of that archer, who screamed in pain as the light of his world turned dark forever, before taking flight again, using Quick Rotation to avoid a volley of arrows coming his way. Meanwhile, the real Shigure was now facing the last two opponents standing there. One was a hulking pile of muscles, who seemed more than ready to engage in hand-to-hand combat with the Hyuuga, while the other one stayed back, observing for now. The two melee fighters started exchanging a flurry of blows, with Shigure using his reflexes and agility to avoid his heavy and powerful blows, while countering with Gentle Fist strikes to vulnerable organs. The man had remarkable pain resistance, but as their bout continued, he started to feel the weight of the massive amount of damage he had been accumulating and eventually fell to his knees, defeated. Still, he forced Shigure to use all of his speed, and left him a bit winded, so when the enemy used the Water Dragon Technique, he couldn't do much but brace himself for impact. "Ugh!" he groaned as he was sent flying until he fell on the water. The noise attracted the huge shark, who came eager to bite a chunk of Shigure, but the Hyuuga forced himself to start spinning, and the Shark's teeth were greeted by the Heavenly Rotation, which was enough to destroy most of its teeth and damage its mouth. Then, following up on that, he used the Mountain Crushed technique to end it. "Hakke Hasangeki!" and the shark was no more. However, the water release user used the distraction to prepare his next technique. "W-what?!" the water around Shigure took the shape of an sphere, and the man captured him in the Water Prison Technique. "Now you will drown!" he spoke, triumphantly. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [25/25] Shigure's clone keeps on aiding Azarea, and so does Daisuke. Shigure engages one enemy in melee combat and after exchanging blows, he defeats him, but is hit by the Water Dragon Technique and pushed to the water, where he uses Rotation and Mountain Crusher to defeat the huge shark, but is then capture by the Water Prison Technique. "I'm fine! Just do it!" Azarea ordered unable to even pause to give Daisuke a thumbs up for his thanks, but making a mental note to treat the eagle to a snack later for his help with the archers. As the woman jerked the pipe connected her rebreather to the air tank quickly shaving off the magnesium from her gloves into the pipe, turned the nozzle to a trickle, lit the make shift 'fuse' and chucked it down the hatch as a makeshift bomb. Hoping between the thatch, wood, and booze that the place would burn nicely if the shrapnel from the tank going off doesn't kill the pirates first. The echoing BOOM as it detonates satisfying in and of itself as her Kikaichu scream out. The hive alerting to her that something has gone very very wrong with her partner. As the bugs attached to Shigure begin to drown sending fury flashing through Azarea's veins like wildfire.

The ex-Aburame's gaze flicking to where her partner was trapped in the orb of water her chakra lashing out to tag him as she shunshin'ed forward fingers slotting through the seals for Mushiyose Ochi. The red head sending a kick at the head of the suiton specialist hopping to break his attention and force him to duck as her Kikaichu poured out of the ground beneath him.

This technique can only be utilized by those with bugs capable of both aerial and underground movement.
By allowing a swarm of bugs to submerge into the ground, the user is able to maneuver and place them beneath an opponent as a trap. Once placed, the bugs can then rapidly emerge from underneath the opponent, consuming the ground beneath them and rising up to surround them.
The combination and suddenness is enough to cause an opponent to lose their balance with the ground under them suddenly disappearing while allowing the bugs to grasp onto the target and drain them.
While the rate at which the bugs are able to dig is dependent on the bug, this jutsu can also speed up their digging capability depending on the cost.

A mutated variant of the Aburame clans Yūdai no Omorejō ["Bewildering Grandeur of the Alpha"] resulting from the subsequent poisoning of Azarea's former Yūdai no Omorejō hive to prevent potential hijutsu theft. While the Joō no Taikanshiki no Regaria lacks the Yūdai no Omorejō size instead Azarea's hive has maintained the ability to produce alpha pheromones and commanding vibrations. Evolving instead to hyperspecialize in these two aspects allowing them to produce pheramones and vibrations strong enough to be detected by human hearing and sense of smell.

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE HYUUGA Shigure had been winded, as he was fighting in the water, and getting captured by the Water Prison Technique was far from ideal. He had the means to break out of that, but he was quite short in the air department, and it was taking all of his concentration to focus on his chakra flow. Azarea was trying to come to the rescue after her bomb took care of most of the pirates, and the clone engaged with the two remaining ones. However, the water release user had left a Water Clone hiding nearby and when Azarea came with her kikaichu, they were intercepted by the Water Bullet Technique, stopping them from reaching the original. Then, the water clone grabbed a sword and leaped towards the girl, aiming to hit her on the shoulder. Fortunately, the clone had already moved like a blur and pushed her out of the way, taking the blow instead of her, and disappearing in a poof of smoke. "Where did you come from?! Uh?! Shadow Clone?" the clone exclaimed in surprise. It worked in Shigure's favour, as the remaining chakra of the clone empowered him enough so he could activate his One Blow Body technique, breaking out of the Water Prison and surprising his captor. "T-this is impossible! Nobody can break out of it once captured!" he exclaimed. "You underestimate the Hyuuga clan, you bastard! Shoutei!" and seizing that momentum, he used the Palm Bottom technique to hit the man in guts, severing his organs and making him fall to his knees in extreme pain. Shigure was about to finish him off, but Azarea would have to take care of the Water Clone, for Daisuke, who was coming to help, wouldn't probably arrive in time, and Shigure had just attacked the man, and was still out of breathe. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." B-Rank Mission [27/25] Water Clone stops her kikaichu with Water Bullet Technique and then seeks to hit her with a sword. Shadow Clone pushes her out of the way and is destroyed. Leftover chakra goes to Shigure, helping him break out of the Water Prison with One Blow Body, and he hits the man with Palm Bottom, incapacitating him. [Aburame Azarea] [363 words]

Azarea danced backwards fingers flicking through the seals for the Barrier Bullet as she spat the solid glob of chakra at the clone. Which appeared unimpressed as it batted the jutsu to the side with the rusted blade, but it had done what Azarea needed and kept it's attention off of the winded Shigure. "Is that all you've got?" The Clone growled out charging as he brought the sword down aiming to cleave Azarea's head from her shoulders.

As the ex-Aburame put her pinpoint charka control to use flickering to the side, but not fast enough as the blade cut and caught against her collarbone startling a cry from the woman, "A few paltry tricks and a handful of academy jutsu is all your good for aye?" The Clone taunted as sneering the red head twisted using where the blade had stuck and caught against her to wrench the weapon from the Clone's hands disarming him even if it cost her worsening the wound. If she couldn't fully dodge the least she could do is cost her opponent his weapon.

"Oh I'm full of tricks." She rasped as Shigure would feel the tell tale tug of substitution pulling at his naval as the chord of chakra between them snapped taunt and the Hyuuga found himself standing in front of a very surprised clone. Azarea could only hope her teammate would take the advantage of surprise she'd gifted him.

THE LAST FOE FALLS Despite being quite tired from all the fighting and techniques he had used, he wasn't so tired he couldn't make use of the opportunity Azarea gave him and finally finished off the last of their enemies with a kunai to the solar plexus, thus making the light in his eyes to shut down for good. Shigure got back to his feet, panting heavily, his flakjacket painted red from the blood of his enemies. Daisuke landed near them, looked at both of them and sighed in relief. "I'm glad you too are okay. This was quite the mess, but there's no one left in the perimetre." he said and Shigure confirmed, for he had scanned the area with his Byakugan, finally relaxing the veins around his temples, as his eyes went back to normal. He could see the injuries the girl had sustained, but they didn't look concerning. A smile appeared on his face as he offered the Aburame a thumbs-up. "Guess I shouldn't have been so concerned, you can take care of yourself. We did it. This place is destroyed, the pirates are eliminated, and the people in the area will finally get the peace they deserve. Still... I have to admit, I'm exhausted..." he said, leaning against the wall of one of the buildings and folding his arms in front of his chest, as he tried to get his breathing under control. "Thank you, by the way. If I had to tackle this mission by myself, it might have gone south." he admitted, grimacing a bit at the realization that, yes, he had become much stronger, and yet, he could've been overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies, even though they managed to avoid engaging directly with most of them through their stealth and sabotage. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." Eyeing the blade still stuck in her collarbone Azarea frowned. The wound wasn't the worst, but left alone it certainly would be much more dangerous and she couldn't very well bandage around the rusty katana. "What did I tell yeah Shigure~" She quips before shoving her glove between her teeth as she gripped the handle of the sword awkwardly with both hands... and wrenched. The blade coming free with a sickening rasp of metal on bone and blood spilled from the wound. Azarea working quick to try and staunch her own bleeding as her Kikaichu swarmed the location trying to clot the wound in their host as the woman swayed a bit on her feet.

"I can... can look after myself." Azarea assures him as she spits out her glove tugging it back onto her hand and gives him a shaky thumbs up with her good arm. "But we should probably try and get to an inn... and a Doctor. I'm not thinking if I try and stitch myself that it's gonna look pretty." She jests as she hooks an arm with his own and nods to the road. The prospect of traveling after all that daunting in and of itself, but the alternative is stick around and try and rest knowing scavengers and other ilk might be filtering through soon enough.
