We are violence Kyouka giggled lightly as she watched the chaos her technique had caused, even if it did wreak less havoc than she had initially expected. Still, one of the ships made it through, meaning it was on a different league from the rest, and that meant that the people in charge of this operation were likely there. The Hozuki would narrow her eyes, wondering what they had in stock for them as their response to this attack. Her purple orbs would finally find a man standing in the front of the ship, arms folded, asking who was there. Waiving hand seals, the man would fire a lightning release technique her way. Quickly, and using the fact that they had enough distance between themselves and her prowess and speed with Water Release techniques, Kyouka would use the single hand seal needed for the creation of the Water Clone Technique, sending a single one of her water copies forward in a leap, in order to sacrifice itself to intercept the lightning technique and thus keep the Hozuki safe from it. "Kimihiro-kun, be a dear and cut off the hands of that gentlemen over there, alright?" she said in a rather playfull tone. Then, Kyouka would move towards the water and liquify herself completely, blending with the ocean as she started to approach the place where their enemies were. Hydrification Technique
A Protean, whole-body technique whereby the user can liquefy their body at will. This technique completely nullifies all physical attacks making it impossible to receive damage while in this form. From a single hair, to skin down to muscles can be turned into water at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Applying this technique, the user can also modify their body parts for suitable situations.

While in a liquefied state the user can freely control their body at will, slipping into cracks in the sidewalk, or underneath the crack under a door to infiltrate an enemy structure silently. If a part of the user's body becomes severed they can easily regrow it with the hydrification technique as long as they have sufficient water to do so.

While the Hydrification technique offers a high strategic value, being completely made of water also has its drawbacks. While unconscious the user suffers from being in a jelly like state, Being made of water also means having an extreme vulnerability to Lightning Release Jutsu. Whenever using this technique the user has to make sure to remain constantly hydrated otherwise they will not be able to use their Hydrification techniques.

Kyouka is a master of the technique, having developed it through her many years as a Shinobi.

Water Release Master
In matters of Ninjutsu, Kyouka is entirely focused on the usage of Water Release, which made her a master of the element. Her Hydrification technique allows her to use Water Release normally, without a nearby water source, as long as she is well hydrated. She can also make her techniques stronger and faster than normal due to her extreme proficiency, which even allows her to perform Water Release jutsu with less hand seals.

Huge Chakra Reserves
From birth, the Jounin was blessed with a huge chakra pool, allowing her to use more jutsus than her peers. This allowed her to develop her style, which blends heavy use of Water Release techniques with her sword attacks and Hydrification Technique. It is hard for the Jounin to be outlasted in battle of chakra, although her chakra control is only average; she never really had a reason to focus on that when chakra is usually not a problem for her.

Description:
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.

It was hard to see the devastation that came from Kyouka's jutsu, but not only could he hear it, but he had spent years fighting within the mist and he knew how to intepret sensory data well even in such conditions. The surviving ship was a looming shadow in the mist, the man's calls enough for the Kaguya to raise an eyebrow. Did he really think that a Kirigakure shinobi would just... answer him?

The lightning jutsu wasn't much of a surprise either, the dispersed nature of the mist meaning it would have difficulty reaching him where he stood, and Kyouka's clone would take the brunt of it as electricity always sought the path of least resistance. If anything reached him, it'd be a minor tickle compared to what it could have been.

Kyouka's instruction to him caused the small male to grin widely, his sword resting comfortably on his back as he looked out over the water. "Kashikomarimashita" he intoned with childish pleasantry as his hands weaved through the seals needed for the imaginatively named 'Suiton: Kirigakure no Jutsu', the Kaguya blending into the very mist that he had summoned in the same way that Kyouka merged with the ocean. Moving as quickly and quietly as he could through the mist, Kimihiro would make his way towards the man who had cast the Raiton jutsu, trying to identify any blind spots or openings that he left to figure out the best location to attack from.

Should he find an appropriate opening, Kimihiro would emerge from the mist with all the silence and stealth he was capable of, Kubikiribōchō in hand as the large sword swung through the air with all the speed he could put into the Kaisuikaga technique. He would aim to try and kill the man before he even realised Kimihiro was there, the meter long vacuum blade along the edge ensuring that his attack had far more range than it seemed. If he wasn't able to go for a kill strike, a maiming one would be just as good.

If he could remove the man's hands at the same time, that'd be even better, but honestly he was going for the kill above all. Work before pleasure.

However, being attacked, hit or have any significant physical pressure applied the user will immediately become visible. For this technique to work, there must be rather heavy mist already present in the area, or the user must cast either the hidden mist or advanced hidden mist technique.

The man was clearly frustrated by the sudden stop in his jutsu, hitting something, but that something he could see - as the mist parted vaguely around the shapes of techniques and physical forms - was a clone as it turned into water almost immediately after collision. Frustrated, he started a new set of hand seals in the mist prepared to do the worst.

Though he did pull out a particularly thick katana. It was a strange weapon, shaped like a traditional katana, but everything about it had an amplified weight and visual quality to it. It was unsurprisingly heavy, which potentially gave away the kind of fighter the man was beyond just the one Raiton he had fired off. After all, raiton was very useful in ocean battles as it worked to quickly electrocute those touching water.

Then, silence once more until panic erupted from behind. Kyouka pulling people down caused men and women to shout out before being drowned. As she worked, and they disappeared below the surface it was like a strange and bloody cacophony. Until, nothing. Total silence...

In all of that, the man was extra aware. Extra wired and the large sword that came swinging disturbed the mist significantly. The man shifted and thrust his own heavy sword to parry the Kaguya, he was extremely strong and as he pressed his sword against the legendary one he thrust it with such intensity that it would likely throw the littler man off balance, if not fully back.

Jutsu Prepared

[Hōzuki Kyōka]

We are violence She was growing to like the short Kaguya boy. He seemed violent enough and also knew his place in the pecking order. With the order issued, and Kyouka properly protected from the lightning assault, she would then make her way to the water to take care of the fodder. They were not dangerous individually, but give time to regroup and work together, they could become a nuisance. Moreover, killing as many of them as she could would potentially have a detrimental psychological impact on their enemies, and lower their morale. At the same time, she would be able to witness first hand what the new owner of the Executioner's Blade was capable of doing, while also getting someone not as vulnerable to electricity to deal with that man. Kyouka would continue to drown the fodder until there was no one else in the ocean who she could kill. Once that was done, she would slowly climb the main ship, where their main target was, while keeping herself in the form of a puddle of water, preferably blending in to already existing ones in the deck, likely caused by her initial ruckus. Kaguya Kimihiro

Kimihiro didn't make a sound as he moved, everything from his clothing to his breath was completely silent even as he emerged from the mist like a ghost, red eyes gleaming slightly in the refracted light of the mist. Unfortunately it seemed despite his highly refined stealth and control over the Kirigakure jutsu pairing, something had given him away. Perhaps he had not adequately compensated for the size of his new blade in such techniques? Something to experiment with later, for now he had hands to remove.

His opponent was strong, there was no doubt about that, though so was Kimihiro. It was hard to judge based on the brief contact between their blades who was physically stronger, but the target had mass on him, and so when he pushed against the Kubikiribocho, the Kaguya took that energy to leap backwards rather than fight against it, hoping to throw the larger man off balance.

With the element of surprise lost, Kimihiro's chakra snapped around him in almost visible flashes as he prepared Raippo, boosting his naturally high speed to ludicrous levels as he launched himself at the man again, lashing out rapidly with his sword in the barrage of slices of Chikagawa as he almost seemed to float from one place to the next on the wings of his Raippo. Once he felt he had adequately lulled the man into a false sense of a pattern, the Kaguya readied another Kaisuikaga, and if he could find a good opening, would use it to slice into the pirate's flesh, even if it appeared outside his effective range. Despite that, he was ready to withdraw and defend should he notice something that needed to be defended against.

Throughout his whole assault, the small man was completely silent, the only sound accompanying his attempts to slaughter the pirate being the slight crackle of his chakra, and the occasional whoosh of his blade.

Well, there were still fish and sharks and mammals in the ocean. But killing those might not have benefitted the Hozuki any on the mission, so they were free from her malice for now. For now the man had no indication that the woman had made her way up onto the deck of the ship, too occupied with the Kaguya.

A safe puddle she was.

The man's parry was intended and so as the Kaguya retreated, using the momentum of the two swings coming together it did not fully throw the experienced fighter off balance, instead he stepped back once to regain what was lost, if only just, then came the speed and the barrage of cuts. But the man was absolutely no novice and started to work against the Chikagawa assault with an impressive amount of precision. The chakra crackling and blade moving was enough to set the man off to the next attack, alas there was a crack in the armor and the little Kaguya would be able to find strike with his more deadly technique.

As the attack concluded and the battle seemed resolved, the man's body suddenly transformed into a barrel that fell to pieces.

Then from the Kaguya's back a lightning fast spark would charge straight into his small body aiming to incapacitate immediately - an electric hound on a chain unpredictable and intense.

[Edit: NPCing faceless Hozuki since we are uncertain of Ren's status]

For the moment being Kimi was alone to deal with the Raiton, because it would be too dangerous for the Hozuki to move into such an attack having an inherent weakness to Raiton. So for now she remained stalled as a puddle, waiting for the right moment to strike out.

This jutsu's deadliness stems from its unpredictability, though if the opponent is struck by the wolf, one will find their body rocked with a powerful charge of lightning, enough to throw a them off their feet and incapacitated.

There wasn't time to be frustrated at the situation, the small Kaguya laying into his foe as he tried to land a strike with the heavy blade of his Kubikiribocho, but unfortunately it seemed like every attempt would lead to a failure. The sudden barrel in front of him instead of his enemy had his body crackling with the faux lightning of Raippo as he hurled himself to the side moments before a hound of electricity shot past his previous position, so close that every hair on his head stood on end. 

It was obvious to him that he was in a bad match up, his opponent was at least a little more skilled than him in swordplay, was somehow able to avoid his attempted attack from the mist despite his own skill in silent killing, and was able to push him at range with near impunity because of the Kaguya's own skillset. All he could do was try and set up an opening for his partner on this mission to take advantage of, because it was increasingly clear that Kimihiro himself wouldn't be able to make it.

With the Executioner's Blade held surprisingly easily in his right hand, his left reached up to above his neck, grasping at a bone that emerged there and casually ripping his spine out in a smooth movement as he utilised the Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru, his spine whip lashing out with all of Raippo's speed to try and wrap around the man even as he continued to dart around with the technique to avoid the lighting technique, Kubikiribocho ready to defend and block or even slash out as need be.

Hopefully he would provide that opening sooner rather than later.

The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper, easily capable of cutting through flesh and bone. The whip can be used to wrap around a person or object, and constricted, essentially crushing/shredding whatever is caught within it's grasp with enough force to crush stone.

That was not something that the man attacking Kimihiro expected. Not the dodge of the lightning hound - which sent a prickle of frustration down his spine - and definitely not the sudden bone protruding out of the youth. That was a strange ability, those shinobi were truly troublesome. Of course he was capable in his own right, but he would never consider himself a shinobi. Never. He was a man that lived on the edge of law, and he was going to continue to do so, so long as his lungs drew breath.

It was a difficult situation, the man was maneuvering the best he could between the spine coming towards him, the speed of the young man and all that he was putting forward. Where he was good, he was really good. It was clear however that with all of his movements he was trying to find a weakness in all of that specialty.

The man's frustration would be his undoing, a snort left him in that frustration and he felt himself misstep for a second, just long enough for a bit of the spine to wrap around him and make him pause in his step. Not good.

This momentary falter allowed for the Hozuki to burst from the puddle and move towards the man, phasing through the bone to try and stab with a kunai in a way that would prove deadly. The man was able to just barely inch out of the way shaking as he did, his own Raiton faltering whilst the Hozuki seemed to avoid it - even if just barely.

The Hozuki would turn then, staring the Kaguya down, he had the enemy pinned down perhaps he could deliver the finishing blow since the man was able to marginally avoid the kunai.

[Kaguya Kimihiro]

Kaguya Kimihiro

Normally the Kaguya would be having fun with such a tricky fight, but he had to take into consideration his partner of this mission, the rather dangerous position they were both in, and maybe, just maybe Toru-kun's constant nagging about responsibility was finally starting to stick in his mind.... nah, couldn't be that.

Still, the moment his spinal whip touched the foe he would tug on it in such a way that would not only help lock the weapon around the man, but also begin to shred his flesh with the sharpened vertebrae. In the same moment, his spine was once more manipulated, a sharp spear of bone emerging from his mouth before launching at the enemy at high speeds in the Bansho no Mai aimed for chest shot where it would likely pierce heart, lungs, or other major organs. If he was able to get the heart, problem solved, but anything would help, on top of the wounds caused by his whip.

The moment the spine spear had fully left his mouth, Kimihiro would move reposition his body once more as he brought the Kubikiribocho down one more time in a Kaisuikaga strike hoping to split the man in two. The strike might not have been as strong as it would have if he had been wielding his blade in two hands, but between his own intense strength and the sheer mass of the Executioner's Blade, it would be enough to achieve his intended goal.

He figured his Hozuki companion would be fine in the face of his attacks, though this fight had definitely convinced him that he needed to diversify his capabilities further.

The user will dislodge their spinal cord temporarily while simultaneously growing it back. They will shape the tip of it to form a spear and will then open their mouth and launch their spinal cord spear from their mouth like a kunai. This is mostly used as a surprise attack, or when the user has the foe grappled with their arms or ribcage. From this point, even if they miss they can take their projectile spinal cord and use it for other jutsus.

Placing great speed and power behind a single swipe or thrust, the user will deliver an iron-rending strike against whatever is on the receiving end of the sword. The sword will split the air (or water) around its edge or tip, creating a splitting vacuum within a meter in the direction of every attack, one that can even halve an incoming fireball. This force can only cut through flesh, but adds an unseen range to the weapon, even if it is avoided.

It was an immediate and harsh onslaught of an attack upon the man who found himself wound up in the spine. The kunai, the launched bone and the executioner blade all seemingly coming down on him at once. Or, at least in short enough order that he had almost no way of responding. It was just fortunate that the Hozuki was made up of water and was able to get out of dodge the very moment the Kaguya had executed his attack upon their enemy. Becoming watery waste once more upon the deck before solidifying properly just behind Kimihiro as the man went limp in the spinal flexion, bleeding and well very much not alive from the very deadly attacks that had been performed.

The Hozuki took a moment then, looking around and trying to feel for any strange vibrations. It seemed though that things had turned for the better, things were quiet. Perhaps too quiet as the fog continued to roll in and out of the area.

Had they bested their main foe or were more to come? The mission was clear to stop the ship coming in whatever vessels that would come. In this case, it seemed that this was the one and only vessel. But it had been a big one, but what did that mean for the near future?

The Hozuki was staring at Kimihiro for a moment before sighing.

"We should stick around a while longer, perhaps more will appear..."

Well it was unlikely but to cover all base's was better than to leave too early and find out later that the mission was incomplete that would likely not make the Mizukage very happy at all.

Kaguya Kimihiro

Ripping the spine whip from the man in such a way as to leave awful wounds, Kimihiro would bring Kubikiribocho around quickly for a swift decapitation, reversing the motion to also lop off his hands as an added contingency plan. Considering how tough he had been, the Kaguya wasn't going to take any chances with making sure that the man was dead.

Assuming nothing went wrong with that, he would swing his sword onto his back before stalking around the ship, red eyes scanning the area for signs of any more enemies, any survivors from the sunk ships. "We should probably look for anything useful onboard before we sink the ship, ne?" he asked his compatriot, glancing at the Hozuki for a moment to see if she agreed.

If there were no pressing concerns to deal with, Kimihiro would wander towards the cabin of the ship, planning on searching for any logbooks, letters, or valuable items that might be aboard the ship, his steps practically silent as he kept alert, ready to react should there be any living foes around.

He wasn't about to get cocky now, not when there was a risk of things still going badly. It would be pretty bad if he were to slip up now after all.

After the death of their enemy, silence seemed to spread over the ship and the surrounding area save for the water that kept moving against the wood of the ship down below. Then the suggestion came from the Kaguya, looking over the ship for anything useful before sinking it.

The Hozuki was looking sternly towards the white-haired boy, before giving him a nod in agreement of the plan. There could be something useful that could be brought back on this ship, otherwise why have such a powerful opponent guarding it? So as Kimihiro wandered off the Hozuki would too beginning up towards the helm looking over the table there.

Unfortunately for the most part there were just a bunch of charts and no interesting logs around here. The Hozuki did not like how silent it was, but perhaps it was just paranoia at play as she sifted through some of the damp and in places water-logged thick parchment along the equally water logged table.

"Check below deck!" She called out to Kimihiro, perhaps there would be something there, and the Hozuki had more than enough confidence in the boy that he could handle himself if something happened below deck... Once again that stupid paranoia.

[Kaguya Kimihiro]

Kaguya Kimihiro

Tossing anything that seemed even vaguely useful to Kiri into a pouch, Kimihiro looked over as his partner told him to had below the deck. Sheathing the Kubikiribocho as its size would likely be a hinderance in such confined quarters, the Kaguya adjusted his grip on the bone whip in his hand, getting the weapon ready even as he began to descend. He was alert the whole way down, scanning cautiously and carefully for any traps, defences, or living defenders.

Well accustomed to moving on ships, and a practitioner of the Silent Killing techniques, Kimihiro didn't make a single sound as he moved down into the bowels of the enemy ship, he might not be on this mission as a Hunter-nin, but it was probably for the best if he acted a bit more like it rather than his more fun 'crazed killer' approach.

Once below the ship's deck, Kimihiro would begin to carefully sweep the lower sections of the ship, ready and alert for danger while also keeping an eye out for anything useful or interesting that he might take back to the village. He had been trying to be less of a blunt instrument since he had joined the Seven, and bringing back extra intel, or valuables for Toru-kun to decide what to do with... well, that seemed smart to him.

So long as he wasn't attacked unexpectedly he would be able to make it through his exploration without many issues.

There was unfortunately only one thing down below that might put Kimihiro on edge and it was a very sudden click as he passed through a door threshold it set off a smoke bomb. Which did nothing really other than fill the entire area with a lot of purple-blackish smoke for him to be frustrated with. Otherwise, there was nothing down there in terms of threats or more shinobi. For the better most likely, since both he and the Hozuki upstairs had used quite a few techniques to put down their slimy opponent earlier on.

Now once he got past the smoke bomb plume he would find a lot of important information. Aside from treasures and gold he could pocket, there were also many ship manifests that would come to good use if brought back to the village as part of the debrief. The real question is if Kimihiro would try to carry them all by himself or if he would employ the Hozuki's assistance in carrying all of this off of the vessel and back towards home.

On the flipside - literally - the Hozuki was wandering the top of the ship in silence, looking a bit annoyed that there were not more to kill. She kept shoving things around, and found a few maps near the helm that she quickly bundled up and pocketed into her flak jacket.

She would have called down to Kimihiro to see where he was or what he was doing, but she had not heard any commotion so she assumed everything was just dandy.

It was a little disappointing, how basic everything was down here. Nothing but a single smoke bomb that, granted, seemed like it might be poison at first, but eventually faded into simple mist. Stumbling across a number of treasures as well as paperwork, the Kaguya pondered for a moment before forcing bone from his body in a crude latticework via his ribcage, leaving him with a woven basket-like container to shove things in. Some wire carefully twisted into straps and he had a functional backpack to carry the items in. Important charts and logs first, and then pad the rest with the most interesting treasures, and slip some in his pockets too where he could afford to carry them.

Once he'd gathered as much as he could he'd make his way back up top where the Hozuki was examining the upper decks.

"I grabbed what I could down there, but I couldn't get it all. If you wanna get anything else you probably should, and then we should leave~" Kimihiro declared, looking over the ship once more, "we need to sink this thing too, is that somethin' you'd be able to do easily enough?"

He probably could do it, but it would be a little bit trickier, better to see if his partner was suited to such a task before trying himself.
