 The Temp teacher was currently at his desk he was marking assignments which he gave out. He had them draw a map of Ame from memory it was a simple but necessary task. Having a mental map of there home would be handy when garrisoned knowing all the nooks and crannys of there home would come in handy. Also his next lecture would be on where they could go and not go. It would be bad if the genin to be walked where they weren't allowed. but that was a task for a other day. The red headed jonin marked his last with a red pen A eighty five good detail just a few things where flipped. 


The Temp Teach would raise from his chair a pop from his back would sound off in the class room. He would make his way to the door and down the hall he made his way to the training field. He was seeing if everyone went home yet. Some kids the really out going ones tended to stay and train there budding skills. Kaen was cool with that. As he made his way there one of the students was hard at work with something from the sound of work on ahead. This peaked his interest

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Shiori could just never sit still no matter what anyone said to him. He just had to make sure his mind was racing or his body itself. So he would always find himself trying to learn something new or just keeping himself in physical shape and today was no different. He wanted to keep himself up to par with his fellow academy students, specifically his cousins Habiki and Yua, so he wanted to work on some of his jutsu studies. The main two are rope escape or cloak of invisibility the latter of which is what he would be working on today.

So here he was in the training field with fabric in hand in an attempt to train and camouflage himself to the wall. Well kind of. He didn't have the cloak make him invisible just yet he just wanted to work on his positioning first since he felt people would still be able to see him if his body was jutting out of the wall. So he was trying to figure out how to keep his body as flat as possible, but he was having a bit of difficulty with it. "If only I could just use my clan ability," Shiori would mutter to himself when it just didn't feel like he was doing it right. It would just be so much easier if he had access to the clan's abilities!

What he came across was one of his students practicing the "Kakuremino no Jutsu" Many a student had some issue with the technique. Kinda like the clone jutsu, But the issue was different it was yet the same. It was imagination. Also the cloak was used to hide when you where far away. He preferred regular camouflage or conceilment, but it came in handy when in a pinch. Kaen just stood there and watched the student try and find good positioning. The kid had the idea right, He was still a little jittery. Kaen looking to help him would step into the training field a few drops of rain falling on his shoulder as he did.


Once there he would make him self known to Shiori "Hello there, Looks like you need some help?" The teamless Jonin sensei would announce a friendly tone could be heard. "The cloak is good when cover isn't available. Helps you blend in with bushes or hill's, Walls are also a option too. I personally like old school camo, which is problilly why I wear less flashy attire then most." The Sensei walked closer to the Genin to be "Would you mind trying the jutsu?" The red head asked

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]After being slightly frustrated with his attempts at getting his positioning correct someone would approach the struggling student. He didn't know who this person was, but he was at least a jounin of the village so they had to have had a lot of experience with this type of jutsu. So Shiori was very content with listening to the older gentleman to get some pointers and nodded towards the older man.

He would mention the use of regular camo being a preference of their own and honestly Shiori kind of agreed. It would just be so much easier to use the natural environment for cover than this jutsu, but at the same time, Shiori couldn't help and think it would still be at least useful to have the ability to accomplish this jutsu. At the very least even if he didn't use the jutsu it could be a good backup in case he can't find natural cover.

The man would then ask Shiori to demonstrate the jutsu for him and he honestly began feeling a tad nervous. Sure he knew the proper technique in theory, but testing it out seemed a bit too soon for him. Still, he wasn't about to just say no and waste the man's time so he tried. Tried being the operative word though cause as he got as close to the wall as he could and placed the cloak around him he initiated the jutsu.

While it did do some of the intended effects it was obvious this wasn't perfect concealment. The coloring of his fabric was off being a bit muted in coloration to his surroundings, a small tuft of his vibrant blue hair was peeking out of the top and his body wasn't fully flush with the wall. So he had problems for sure, but it was a start which was all Shiori could honestly ask for.

The Red head Made his way over to the blue headed kid. His hand came to his face and rubbed his bare face as he looked at his attempt. "You got the texture right. But the color is a little off and your positioning could use a little work. Like the bushin a image in your mind is key." A hand also came from his chin to his bangs "You also share a problem I have hair which stands out." the hand fell away as his amber orbs scanned the student. "Postioning of the cloth is key watch your surroundings if its a wall hold the cloth in front of you flat covering this way can also be used with the ground your self is good for but flat. The Cloak jutsu is used to stop eyes from catching sight of you from afar. As for the hair issue you could wear a non eye catching cover of mix what ever is in the area into it. But we can figure that out latter. Try again with my words in mind, don't worry about failing here is the time for failure." Kaen stepped back and awaited for Shiori to try again.

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Shiori became a bit nervous as he awaited the critique from the one who was now his sensei in learning this technique. He knew it was going to be rough as it was his first time actually trying to get it right and even attempting the jutsu in any sense of the word, but he would at least hope he could get it partially right. Though since he was certainly the determined type even if he wasn't anywhere close to getting it right he would train his hardest to get it right so it wouldn't be like being wrong would get him downtrodden or anything.

Then once the mentor began speaking Shiori would listen quite intently. His color was off which was to be expected since it was his first time activating the jutsu so that was to be expected, but the fact his hair was sticking out was a tad embarrassing to the young ninja in training. How could he let such a careless mistake happen? Well, at least the mentor gave him advice on how to improve that part of the technique, and honestly the whole using the elements around him to adjust his hair color was very solid advice. He never thought about using the surroundings around him before. How ingenious!

Smiling despite his failure he responded with a peppy, "Yes sir!" He would then attempt the jutsu again this time trying to keep the man's words in mind as much as possible. It was certainly an improvement as the color of his cloth was a lot closer to his surroundings this time, but still just slightly off though not as noticeable as it was originally. He was a bit more flush to the wall too which was good and his hair was covered now though his cloth was a bit wrinkled at the bottom this time. So while he did show improvement there were still flaws for him to fix.

 The Temp teacher would look around his current young charges new and improved attempt. It wasn't perfect but that was to be expected. As he looked he would critique the boy as he did. "Your color Is better. The head is a little wrinkled but at a distance you would pass. So, good job." Kaen would praise the blue haired student. "Your positioning is better to. the jutsu is meant to camoflage yourself it doesn't have to be perfect. Just good enough." A smile formed upon the red heads face as  Shiori improved under his guidance. as he looked upon the kids attempt he removed the cresses from his cloth making is stand out a little less.

 "Try again this time I think you'll get it down. It doesn't have to be perfect now, those skills will be refined by your sensei when you get to your team. Now is the time to learn the basics." The red head once sure the cloth was on his head good he stepped back. "Try again remember the steps your close kiddo." Kaen offered encouragement to the kid. He was close he just had a few wrinkles to iron out

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Learning was always a difficult thing, especially for someone who was more physically inclined though that's not to say he couldn't do mental activities as he did enjoy a good puzzle now and then. It's just some things took time for him and learning ninjutsu was something that he sometimes struggled with though not always. It just depended on the day which just meant today was one of those days. So learning how to conceal himself with the cloak might be a bit of an ordeal for him, but he wasn't the type to give up easily so with the help of this sensei he was certain he would get the technique down eventually.

When his newly found instructor would give his next section of advice Shiori couldn't help and listen intently. Like a dog awaiting his master's orders, he was making direct eye contact with the older man with a smile on his face anticipating his every word. He was getting better which was a good sign! Sure, he still needed work which he always expected but progress was progress! Though he did have a moment of pause when the man talked about his future team leader which got Shiori thinking.

Who would he even be paired up with? Would it be someone from his clan or some random jounin? What about his cousins? Would they be on the same team or would they all be separated? So many questions filled the young boy's mind that he couldn't help and ask, "What if I don't synergize with my assigned squad leader or teammates?" He wasn't normally the type to question these sorts of things and was more of a run-with-flow type, but it was something that did make him consider especially with how well he was working with this man.

Uka had been practicing her own jutsu nearby when she overheard parts of the conversation between the red-haired male and the blue-haired boy. Her keen ears caught snippets of advice and encouragement as she discreetly observed from a distance. Curiosity piqued, she couldn't help but wonder why the boy was struggling with the Kakuremino no Jutsu, a technique she had mastered long ago.

With her lively personality, Uka decided to stay on the sidelines, enjoying the show as the older shinobi continued guiding the young ninja. She grinned mischievously, her eyes sparkling with playful amusement.

As the session progressed, Uka noticed the red-haired man had to leave for some reason, leaving the young boy to practice on his own. Seizing the opportunity, she decided to step in and offer some advice herself. With a soft chuckle, she strolled over to Shiori with a mischievous glint in her eyes, her vibrant red hair flowing with each step. "You seem to be giving it your all, huh?" Uka said, her voice as vibrant as her personality. "But mastering the Kakuremino no Jutsu isn't easy; it takes time and practice. Don't fret! I overheard some of the red-haired man's tips, and I might have a few tricks of my own to share! The name is Yugao Uka, by the way."

Uka got closer and reminisced on Shiori's previous attempt, her expression thoughtful yet lighthearted. "You're getting there. One thing to remember is to let go of any self-consciousness. This jutsu is all about embracing your surroundings and blending in. Confidence is key!" She demonstrated, throwing the cloak over herself with a flourish, disappearing into the background effortlessly.

"See? Easy-peasy! Now, when you put the cloak on, feel the environment around you, and become one with it. It's like hiding in plain sight. And don't worry about your future team; you'll get along just fine, I'm sure! Besides, you seem like a friendly and determined guy, who wouldn't want to be on a team with you?" Uka grinned, giving him an encouraging pat on the back.

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]It seemed something had caught his impromptu teacher's attention. What he wasn't sure of, but the man seemed to suddenly be in a rush as they left Shiori hanging on to learn again on his own. While he wasn't too stressed about doing it on his own, the instruction certainly seemed to help a lot more than when he was doing it alone, so it slightly saddened him to lose his instructor. luckily for Shiori, he wouldn't have to be instructorless very long as another would soon replace them.

This was a fellow student of the academy this time. A girl by the name of Uka had enough energy to match his fast-paced energy. Trying his best to match her energy he would greet her by saying his name, "Susano Shiori! Hope it's not too much of a bother to be taking over mid-lesson." While Shiori didn't mind this normally since she was also a student she had to have had some jutsu she was learning herself so he hoped he wasn't getting in the way of her training by helping him out.

After the demonstration, Shiori's eyes would practically sparkle in awe. So confidence is all he needed right? That was easy! He could do that in his sleep! "That sounds easy!" Shiori would say excitedly, grabbing the cloak from Uka and rotating it around in his hands as he listened to her next set of words. Her words about him making a great teammate certainly lifted any doubts or worries he had in his mind. "Hopefully we can be on a team then when we become genin." Shiori would say afterwards thinking of how fun it would be to be paired up with someone who helped him when he needed it.

Finally finding the part of the cloak he felt most comfortable holding he leaned back to the wall he had been practicing on and dropped the cloak around him. Clearing his mind of any worries and instead focusing on how awesome he would be for completing the jutsu. Imagining his body like how his family's paper technique would work. Becoming flush with his surroundings and practically disappearing except for those who knew he was there. His body doing just that and vanishing as if he was never there. After a few seconds of keeping his position, he would remove the cloak and ask, "How did I do?"

Uka couldn't help but be charmed by Shiori's infectious enthusiasm. His energy matched her own, and she couldn't help but grin at his excitement. "Not a bother at all, Shiori! In fact, I'm thrilled to help out," she replied with a friendly wink.

As Shiori eagerly grabbed the cloak and listened intently to her advice, Uka watched with anticipation. She could see the determination in his eyes, and that alone told her he had the potential to master this jutsu. When he mentioned the possibility of being on a team together as genin, her grin widened. "That would be amazing! We'd make an awesome team, I'm sure of it."

She watched attentively as Shiori put on the cloak and attempted the Kakuremino no Jutsu. As he disappeared into his surroundings, her eyes lit up with approval. "You did great, Shiori! I could barely see you there. It's all about that confidence and becoming one with your environment, and you nailed it."

Uka clapped her hands and patted Shiori on the back again, this time with even more enthusiasm. "Keep practicing like this, and you'll have it mastered in no time. Now, go ahead and give it another shot to ensure that it sat in. I'll be right here rooting for you." She gave him a confident and encouraging smile. Uka would wait for Shiori to try the jutsu a few more times, before parting their ways for the day.

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]This girl seemed like fun. She matched his energy and had such an upbeat attitude. Honestly, Shiori was enjoying her presence and she was helping him improve on something he was struggling with. Who wouldn't be happy to find someone who lifts you such as she had been to him so far? She even sounded excited at the prospect of the two of them being on a team together once they graduated from the academy! How wonderful that would be! Seems fate had a lot in store for them and hopefully it would keep giving once they did graduate though Shiori would have to wait and see for that.

He honestly closed his eyes when he attempted the jutsu half expecting to fail again, but when Uka's words of approval reached his ears he felt the excitement fully reach the pit of his stomach. He had done it! Another step forward on the path to success for this young blue-haired shinobi! With Uka giving him a pat on the back and telling him to try it a few more times to ensure he got it right he obliged. A couple more successful attempts and the two would end up parting ways. Shiori would make a double take as they left in separate ways back to where he was training and then back to Uka and smiled harder than he ever did before. He would need to return the favor one day though what that favor would be he had no idea. Turning back around he would begin jogging home to tell his parents the wonderful news.
