His hand was growing and becoming covered by what looked like plated armour and it did look rather dangerous. In response to that, Shigure would channel his own chakra to his hands, giving it the shape of lions. "Juho Soushiken!" he exclaimed, invoking the power of the Twin Lion Fist to engage in battle. As the two dashed forward, Shigure threw his hand forward, and the man decided to try and block it, lacking Shigure's speed and reaction time. His arms changed into a sort of shield of brown flesh, but the body modification was made of chakra, and Shigure's fist completely destroyed it upon touching it. The man grit his teeth and readied his other arm for a punch, which Shigure braced himself to intercept. But all of a sudden, a jet stream of chakra came out of his elbow and his attack came at such an incredible speed the Hyuuga wasn't expecting, and despite his sharp reflexes, he was hit right in his chest by the attack, which sent him flying across the room until his back hit the wall in a loud thud. "ARGH!" he groaned in pain as his body hit the floor. It felt like the man had cracked one of his ribs, the pain flaring up like crazy. "Shit... If it wasn't for my armour... I would've been in far more trouble..." he thought to himself. But he didn't have much time to think, as the man was already leaping towards him. Another burst of chakra from his elbow and the high speed punch came crashing down, but this time Shigure was prepared, and was able to use his extreme agility and reflexes to roll out of the way, narrowly dodging the attack, which created a crater on the ground. He heard Urikohime's message at this point and quickly responded. "Things are tough here... Good luck!" it was all he could say. Rasa would come down with all its speed and pierce one of the man's eyes with her talons. Blinded and in pain, the man screamed as the Eagle started pecking him to death, leaving the other one for Urikohime. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." Of course, Uriko had no idea what was going on with Shigure, but from the yell she heard over their shared comm device, and his laconic response, she was sure that he did not need her distracting him with any updates. While it was expected that she would worry over her superior, being the sort of person she was, Uriko was aware that there was nothing she could really do for him, except take care of matters on her own end, in such a way that he would not have extra issues to deal with when he was done. Hopefully, he would not be too banged up. It was in times like this that Uriko wished she was a better medical ninja, but regrets were useless, except to spur one to strive to become better.

As Rasa descended on one of the men and began brutally destroying him, Uriko faced off against the other two. Although her taijutsu was average at best, she was not absolutely hopeless, and she knew where to strike that would cause sufficient pain. One of the men lunged at her, but she skipped to the side and sliced behind his knee with a wielded kunai, while keeping a lookout for the other man. He barreled in, just as she was making her attack on his colleague, and struck at her with the club in his hand. She narrowly evaded it, only to get clocked in the gut with the man's free left hand, the blow lifting her off her feet. She quickly responded by burying her kunai in his shoulder and staggering away, leaving the weapon there. She'd have bruises, but she was fine. Her opponents both had injuries that would visibly affect their movements. She had the advantage.

Hyūga Shigure

EXCHANGE OF BLOWS Rasa had violently ended one of their enemies, while Urikohime took care of the other two. The girl was struggling, and in order to aid her, Rasa used her talons on the back of the neck of the man she had just injured with her kunai, pulling him back and making him lose balance. The moment he fell on the ground, Rasa attacked with her beak, pecking his face until the man stopped moving. Meanwhile, Shigure was exchanging blows with the man by using his Twin Lion Fist. Every hit of it destroyed this weird chakra based substance he created, but he could recreate it again, even though it looked to be rather draining on the man's chakra pool, more so than it was for Shigure to sustain his Twin Lions. Still, he was having to push his body to the limit to avoid the lightning fast attacks of the man, and some of them, merely by grazing him, still caused some injuries. As the two dashed towards each other, they were ready to exchange blows again, and Shigure waited until the last second, using the concept of go-no-sen, to try and avoid and use the opening to counter. It seemed like it worked, but then the man changed directions, when it was supposed to be impossible, with a burst of chakra perpendicular to the direction of his arm. Of course it wasn't as powerful as a direct hit, but it still hit Shigure's flank pretty bad, making him grunt in pain. However, he also managed to hit the man right in the heart with the Twin Lion Fist, pushing all of his chakra through the man, tearing not only his chakra, but fataly injuring his heart and lungs. The man collapsed, defeated, but Shigure also flinched from the pain. "Not good..." he thought to himself. The woman who remained there, now alone, tried to run towards the exit, to escape. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." The one who had punched Uriko was the more mobile of her two opponents, and he was about to attempt another charge at her, when Rasa swooped in, having ended the first man she had attacked. The eagle practically shredded the back of the man's neck, pulling him as well and causing him to fall backwards. It was best to ignore what was happening to him, because it neither looked nor sounded pretty. Besides, there was still someone else to deal with.

As Uriko locked eyes with the remaining opponent, he quickly limped to one of the buildings nearby, pulling the door open and stepping in before turning to face the kunoichi. And Uriko noticed that in his hand was a kunai, with an explosive tag attached to it. Now she knew why he had headed for the house. He would throw the projectile at her and Rasa, and hope the explosion would take the two out, while he would be shielded somewhat from whatever flying debris came from the blast of the explosion, if he was fast enough to close the door. Or, he could simply move behind the wall in which the door entrance was located, because though the building was quite small, it was made of stone, and that would be an effective shield. But the man had made a mistake, for he did not realize his opponent was a quick thinker.

Uriko ran forward, performing handseals as she did. Meanwhile, the man was gloating, aware that she would not be quick enough to reach him before he threw the kunai. But Uriko did not want to reach him. As stepped backwards and swung his arm outward to throw the makeshift bomb, Uriko got within range and activated the technique she was preparing. A blue wall suddenly appeared across the doorway, and there was the audible plink of the kunai rebounding off the wall, just as the man realized he was alone with an exploding tag in the room, and screamed.

The explosion truncated the man's yell, as dust, pieces of stone and wood were blasted from the house. And all was quiet, save for Uriko's heavy breathing. "Thank you so much, Rasa-dono. Will you check on Shigure-kun, please? He may need your help more than I presently do." She had no idea that Shigure's battle was over as well.

DESCRIPTION:
The user creates a solid wall like barrier that appears almost instantly anywhere within a 15ft radius. The wall itself is highly durable and requires D ranked jutsu power to shatter anything lower would simply be ineffective against the wall if not outright break after coming in contact with it, with weapons would need to be empowered with chakra to do any damage though that are not are ineffective with projectiles harmless clattering down to the ground. The wall can be sprung up in a moments notice and the shape and size of it varies depending on the users preference and chakra use (anywhere between 5ft and 15ft tall). As many walls can be made as the user wishes to make (or have the chakra to make) however the plus side is that once the walls are created they take no chakra to maintain. Requires three hand seals.

Note: Although this jutsu hasn't been added to Uriko's list, I have already submitted it for approval, having trained it. Thus I hope it is okay to use here.

HELP IS ON THE WAY Shigure would quickly grab a couple kunai from his leg holster and hit the woman in the neck and back as she tried to run past him, collapsing to her death. The Hyuuga would exhale sharply and painfully. The enemies had been completely taken care of, so he needed to inform Urikohime of that. "Urikohime, tell Rasa to stand guard just in case and come down here. I took care of the enemies. We need to check the hostages." he said, trying to keep the tone neutral, but it was clear that he was in pain. Shigure would then walk towards the cages where the hostages were being kept. Using his Gentle Fist, he would break the locks and free them, but they were still too drugged and ill to be able to leave on their own. "Don't worry, help is on the way." the Hyuuga would try to comfort them, as he waited for his mission partner to get down there. All the remaining Sage Snuff was down there as well, so they were close to wrapping up this mission, and he couldn't wait for it, as he needed some medical treatment himself. Rasa, on the other hand, once informed of what Shigure wanted her to do, would take flight again, keeping her watchful eye in the area, but it truly seemed like all threats had been neutralized. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." It seemed Rasa was not needed to go help Shigure, as he had wrapped up his own battles in the basement. Affirming her superior's command to inform the eagle of a new directive, Uriko turned to the majestic bird. "I just got orders from Shigure-kun, Rasa-dono," the Genin said. "He says you should keep an eye out on the area, in case we have any other possible problematic situations. I'm needed inside."

Having delivered the message, Uriko went into the entrance she had seen Shigure enter, and walked down the stairs into the basement as fast as she could. While she was still in one piece, she could not say she was unscathed, and moving did hurt, but she was more or less fine. There were dead bodies littering the room she walked into, and the sight made her make an unconscious face. Shigure looked battered, but he was still standing. "Glad to see you're managing well, Shigure-kun," Uriko said. She would want to check his injuries, but first she would look at the freed prisoners. That was why she had been given this mission. They did seem weak, especially the teenager. It seemed as though he was practically in critical condition. What were the symptoms? Weak, showing signs of fatigue, after being given a drug that caused chakra level spikes. That rang a bell.

Uriko placed her hands on both sides of the half-conscious boy's head, performing the Seimei Ken technique, and allowing her chakra to replenish his. After a few moments, his eyes fluttered open, and he looked at her. "I have the answer," Uriko said excitedly. "I know how the drug works. It forces the user to sacrifice their natural stores of chakra in a single moment, causing a sudden increase in chakra levels, and subsequent burnout. That's what killed those who died from using it." Making sure the boy was stable, Uriko did the same for the other prisoners, ensuring that their chakra levels were enough to not be at a life-threatening level. Then she tuned the frequency of her communication device to that of the radio frequency of the port town authorities. After identifying herself and giving out their location, she said, "please send at least four beds, and a lot of soldier pills, if you can get them. Yes, I did say soldier pills. That's the solution to the Sage Snuff's exhaustion side effects. Yes, I'll explain to your medical teams when they arrive. Please hurry. Thanks."

The kunoichi sighed as she seated herself on the floor, turning to look at Shigure. "I hope you know that one of those beds is for you...."
