There was a brief solemnness between the Kusa Lord and her close friend from Kumogakure when they eventually parted. Lunch had been divine and the pair had spent most of it dishing about the opposition and gushing about their own genin who would no doubt prove shining stars in the upcoming exams. The air was electric with everyone's excitement and anxiety as the start date grew ever closer.

Kanoh wanted to take a break, however. She'd spent the past couple days training one-on-one with some of her genin hopefuls and she wanted to take this chance to get to know the local area and meet some of the other instructors. She was already familiar with those from Kumo and Konoha, they were pretty close all things considered, but she didn't have the pleasure of knowing many people from Tsuchi no Kuni.

It made sense, the Land of Earth hated her and her nation for a several decade old spat. She couldn't understand it but the ruler of Iwagakure was a 50 year old woman after all. In a way, it made sense that the elderly would harbor grudges toward the up-and-coming youth. Kanoh was no spry adolescent anymore but her views were progressive and fresh. She wanted to make friends here if she could.

So she found herself in one of the local bath houses as the evening began to threaten the day with lengthening shadows and darkening skies. She changed and made her way to the female section to find a young muscular blonde already reclined within the steaming waters. Kanoh didn't know if this was a shinobi or civilian, or even a local for that matter, but she approached with all the kindness she'd planned to regardless.

She quickly sought refuge from the air by sinking into the water, not opposite the other young lady but not too close either. After a moment she allowed a calm exhale to escape her lungs.

"Ahhhhh~ That's lovely."

The water was warm the room was calm and she was practically by herself in a nice hot bath to keep her calm from days events, but why was it that she didn’t feel calm. All through the day the gril had been thinking about that man she met, just who was he and how did he know about her family? She’d ask he be monitored on behalf of the watch captain but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about the whole situation. How did a Kusagakure shinobi know about something so secretive?

And how did he know about her nickname…had her legend been spreading outside of the village by that much? Taki hadn’t exactly realized and all of these questions made it hard for her to relax. After a moment the girl would see someone else enter into the room she had darker skin than most and looked to be on the older side, the girl would keep her gaze contained to herself she was no stranger to being in a bathhouse but even still given how she was she still needed to retain a shred of decency.

The woman seemed to be enjoying herself as she made her way into the water, Taki was curious as to who she was she knew she’d seen her somewhere before but couldn’t exactly place it. Just another thing to occupy her already mounting laundry list of things to worry about, from where she was sitting she'd look a bit pre-occupied or lost in thought.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

Initially, the older woman considered allowing the silence to continue keeping its peace, to linger a while longer in the invigorating steam and serve both kunoichi’s relaxation. But it wasn’t long before she grew antsy. After all, this blonde she sat nearly across from could be anyone… maybe a would-be assassin? Or perhaps one of those new friends Kanoh had been just considering making.

She rid her mind of the former, suspicion never having served her well in diplomatic affairs before. Could a gal not enjoy a bath anymore? She shifted slightly, getting a bit more comfortable where she sat against the natural stone wall which was carved into a long bench circling the edge of the bath. "Mmmm, this is delightful! There’s nothing quite like these baths back home~!”

The first bit was honest truth, the mineral mixture used in the spas here were heavenly. The second bit, while also true, was more a form of bait. A compliment, assuming the intended recipient was a local, and a conversation starter. Considering they were the only two inhabitants, Kanoh certainly hoped the blonde realized she was talking to her.

If not, well, then perhaps more direct methods were in order. Hopefully it didn’t come to that. Kanoh was an extrovert, sure, but she had no great love for putting herself out and going unnoticed. Perhaps it was a bit childish but she had a tendency to get dejected if conversation wasn’t mutual, natural and free flowing.
