[Himishi Jou]

With the current Chunin Exams being hosted here in his country as well as being brought in as the Godaime Tsuchikage's new assistant, Jou has felt like he has had little time for much else in his life. He was still fresh to his new duties, so the teen probably just needed a bit more time to adjust to it before being able to properly make time for himself and other things. Fortunately, the Himishi boy was able to find some time to head over to the Okada clan's compound for a bit of training. With their involvement in the Exams, Jou imagined and wasn't really surprised to see the place being potentially busy, or busier than usual, but luckily he still had access to the gym. Despite all that was going on, Jou still has obligations here as well, especially since he still wants to become a wrestler under the Okada name. Also...he needed a little distraction.

Currently in the gym, Jou was in his new workout clothes that consisted of an Okadan-themed pair of shorts and tank top, along with wraps around his feet and hands. Although he loves the Okadan style, Jou still showed a hint of embarrassment...especially whenever women passed by. Despite his body being fit, Jou had never really worn clothes like that, but it was just another thing he was going to have to get used to.

Jou found himself in front of a punching bag and briefly looked around, hoping that no one was gawking at him. He then looked down at something he was holding in his hands, an Okada-styled bandana that fit with the rest of the clothing. He then tied it around his forehead and gave it one more tight tug before taking a deep breath. He then looked up at the punching bag and started to give it some jabs, wanting to work a little more on his hand to hand stuff before diving deeper into wrestling moves. He continued punching, making sure to keep things consistent, adding well-timed kicks into the mix as well. His taijutsu still wasn't much, but it isn't bad either ever since he started training here, making small improvements. But...there was something Jou still wasn't satisfied about.

There was a focused look on his face at first, but as he continued practicing, it quickly formed into something that almost looked...frustrated. He felt that his strike lacked any decent power to them, causing the Himishi boy to stop for a moment. Jou then looked down at one of his own hands...and attempted to channel his chakra through it. He then balled his hand into a fist and tried punching the bag again..but not much changed. "Why...isn't this working?" he muttered to himself, sounding a little more frustrated instead of curious. He still had and studied the notes from his little chakra control lesson with Souma, but Jou still felt like he had little grip over his own chakra....

He needed control...proper control.
