In the city of fools, I was careful and cool but they tore me apart like a hurricane.
Ryuujin Shiina wasn't unfamiliar with the look Muramasa now gave her, the intensity of his stare, as though trying to read into her soul. She was also not unfamiliar with what it all meant, when pieced together with his movements. She was a shinobi after all, and a damn good one, if she really thought about it. There was no man nor woman who could really hide their true intentions, their body movements, voice and expressions betrayed them often, especially those who were too desperate and tried to hide themselves too much. Perhaps she should compliment the man for his boldness, both in how he now portrayed and the words he spoke. To all of this though, she would merely smile.
He came close, their bodies growing increasingly close to each other, distance no longer something worthy of mention. Shiina searched in his eyes, even as he towered over her. Even if she couldn't see the devil inside those pupils, she could sense it from his entire body. As he said the words that carried more than just its surface value, she would stand up as well, the towering of a man over her wasn't one she particularly enjoyed. As they became more eye-level with one another, the purple-haired woman raised a hand to touch the man's face, her fingertips touched his skin ever so slightly. When she spoke, her voice was a whisper, as though any louder would disturb the tranquility of where they were.
"I hope knowing comes with patience and time..." Did she find the man attractive? Absolutely. Did she want to give in to his statements and claims? Not entirely. The woman was a lady after all, and a lady was one who carried herself with utmost respect. For him to want to know her in more ways than one, the sentiment was understood, but she knew that if she gave in now, the 'knowledge' he would obtain from her wouldn't be balanced. "You see, knowledge is a two-sided phenomenon...." she dropped her hand from his face and would proceed to walk to the edge of the bath.
"The man I want to know and that I want to know me is not the man I see in front of me.." she would stop then, her head turned slightly to look at him. "Who I want to know me is the man behind that unwelcoming aura, for that is what differentiates a man and a monster." her words were still melodic but serious. "and a monster I know you are not."
